The space
Renovated at the end of 2022, this one-bedroom property is picture perfect. Upon entering the property, you’ll be welcomed into a hallway with hanging space for coats and a utility area.Head upstairs to the first floor and you’ll be in the open plan living, kitchen and dining room. Here you’ll find beautiful modern features and gorgeous touches to create a cosy and inviting space. The kitchen area has everything you could need including an oven, hob, fridge freezer, kettle, coffee machine and toaster. Enjoy your home cooked meals at the dining area which includes a wooden table and two matching chairs. When it comes to relaxing at the end of a busy day, retreat to the sofa and turn on the flat screen TV to keep up with your favourite shows on Freeview.
The bathroom is also located on the first floor. This modern and stylish space features a walk in shower, wash basin and WC.
Take the stairs to the second floor and here you’ll discover the bedroom. With sloped ceilings and a neutral colour scheme, the space is relaxing and cosy. The comfy, double bed is guaranteed to provide a great night’s sleep. The space is complete with bedside drawers and lamps, a digital alarm clock, hangers, an iron and board, plus a hair dryer.

Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.Free on-street parking is available on a first-come, first served basis nearby.
Ramblers Retreat has three floors and due to the nature of the property, the stairs can be steep and narrow so please take extra care.

I loved Pately Bridge, perfect for exploring. Bolton Abbey and Brimham Rocks were very enjoyable but local river walks were great too. The accommodation was only a few minutes and across the bridge from the lovely little town centre. For dog visitors there is a park and river walk just across the road. The cottage was very neat, spotlessly clean and warm and the bed was very comfortable but I have to agree with the criticism about the sofa. It’s very small and not that comfy. If there was a tv in the bedroom I would have lounged upstairs. An addition of glass tumblers would have been good too. However it was a first solo trip and I had a really nice stay without any anxieties so thank you very much.

Lovely retreat in a great village, not easy to find for first time visitors but luckily, been and stayed before so knew the location,, only downside still is the tiny sofa, room for a larger one, apart from that, clean, comfortable and homely, we will be back again
