Beautiful, spacious, comfortable accommodations- well suited to group travel as there is plenty of personal and shared space.

The top floor room is quite low-ceilinged and definitely less comfortable than the other rooms (unless you are very short). This wasn’t clear in the booking information.

Beautiful house, everything we needed for our four night stay and the bedrooms were far more spacious than the photos suggest. Particularly well equipped kitchen and appreciated the welcome pack

1 bedroom had an overflowing shower 'tray' easily mopped up. Next day I was going to ring up to arrange help but my friend chose to investigate and did a professional clearing of the badly blocked drain filter 🤣 all good 👍

Beautiful house, perfect for our family of seven and the dog!
The house was spotless, everything you would want to enjoy your stay. Photos do not do it justice, it was gorgeous!! Perfect location, walking distance to everything in Whitby. Would definitely stay again.

We are 5 couples who go away every November. This house sounded perfect for us as it had 5 bedrooms all en-suite with parking in Whitby. Harold Villa did not disappoint. It’s a beautiful spacious house in a prime location in the centre of Whitby. The whole house is beautifully finished especially the bedrooms and bathrooms. The house was lovely and warm for our whole stay. We had everything we needed for a fantastic weekend. Thank you

A beautiful period home with up to date bathrooms and well appointed kitchen. Very clean , comfortable and warm with plenty of space to spread out . Great location . The age range of the party was 80 - 19 and it suited everyone .

An immaculate property, loved the attention to detail. Superb comfy beds in good sized bedrooms. A lovely sociable house, it my wife’s 70th birthday and we were there with our kids and grandkids and it worked well for all age groups. We will definitely recommend to family and friends.

Excellent property, very clean and well equipped. Short walk to beach and all facilities of Whitby.

I booked this through booking.com. The terms and conditions outlined were that there would be a £250 cash damage deposit required on arrival and should be reimbursed in full on check out. Host and stay have their own policy which contradicts this, requiring payment of £250 by credit card in advance which is subject to a £10 administration charge.
This was not the booking agreement.

Harold Villa was exactly as the pictures show. It was clean and well stocked with what we would need. The location of this house is just perfect, everything walkable and easy to find. The house itself took us longer to find initially than expected. This was just because of the layout of Whitby’s roads (we still aren’t sure if they were actually one way but they appeared to be from road markings). Our advice is to enter by travelling along Upgang Lane to crescent Avenue and John street.
Once there, 4 small cars or 3 larger fit on the drive. The lock box was easy to locate and keys easy to use.
In the house was a chest full of children’s toys and a lovely little dolls house (our 2yr old was in her element). There were also some books and games for older children and adults.
Kitchen was well stocked with table-wear for adults and children. Beds clean and comfortable. Some of our group found the birds in the early hours were very loud - bring earplugs.
We had a fab stay!

This is a lovely large property very well located just on the edge of Whitby town centre with the added bonus of onsite parking. The interior is amazing with a conservatory, huge kitchen, lounge and very spacious en-suite bedrooms on each of the 3 floors. The property was spotlessly clean and very thoughtfully presented throughout in terms of the fixtures and fittings. The rental cost is on the high side but if several families shared the costs this would then represent decent value for such a beautiful house
