We really like the house as it works for our party. However, we were disappointed with the bed arrangements, we also needed to clean the jets on the gas hob to make two of them work. The house is looking a little tired in places and things were missing from our last stay, like the stools in the kitchen.

This is the 1st time we have used Air B&B /Host and Stay. The communication and information has been extremely good from the outset. Location of the cottage was good. It was well equipped and had every thing you need for a short break. It was comfortable and well maintained.

Lovely cottage 5 minutes walk from Masham village centre. Cosy and stylishly curated. Lovely bathroom, well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms were perfect, with beautiful linens. We would definitely stay again.

beautiful cottage in a lovely village. However, I have stayed in over 40 airbnbs and this is the first time I have been asked if I wanted to pay a 'damage waiver'. this made me anxious so I paid it ... then when i arrived a text telling me to report all damage in case of extra charge .. there was firewood but you had to pay for it ... i had asked about a late checkout (i had offered to pay) and kept being told ' we will get back to you' before finally being told no. Then more messages warning 'extra charges' if i did check out. it all seemed really impersonal. as it was we did check out 10.minutes late because the shower had leaked. Im sorry if this review seems negative - airbnb is meant to be rather more relaxed than this.

A great 4 night stay over New Year & into 2026. Brilliant cottage, with every amenity needed, including a cracking open fire. Only a very short 3/4 minute walk in to Masham & all it has to offer....great pubs, restaurants & shops & Coop for any last minute needs. Plenty of great walks straight out of the front door. Free on street parking outside the front of the cottage

Great place to stay in Masham, very close to the centre. The house is really well equipped with pretty much everything you could need. Really felt like a home away from home, would definitely stay again!

What a beautiful place!! Our family absolutely loved staying at Green Willow. The town of Masham is so quaint and just a short stroll away! The house was incredibly cozy and beautifully done. We absolutely LOVED our time in the Dales and hope to stay here again some day!

We have just got back from a four night stay in Willow Cottage and loved it. It’s like home from home - spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and a nice secure garden. It’s only a short walk into the square and several other walks from the door. Perfect place to stay from a trip to the dales, we will be visiting again for sure

Had a lovely stay at the cottage. Well equipped and comfy beds. Walkable into Masham - less than 5 minutes. Cottage on a main road but we weren’t bothered by traffic noise - I had a good sleep & I am a very light sleeper! It didn’t bother us but you may not always get a parking space right outside the cottage. Thank you for a great stay.

We were delighted with the cottage from the moment we arrived. It’s cosy, clean, warm and feels like it’s just been completely renovated to a high standard. The location is great, parking worked outside the door and the dog was welcome and very comfortable. We’ll be back.

Cottage was clean and homely. Kitchen was well equipped. Garden secluded and enclosed for dogs. Only negative was it was on a busy road with trucks and lorries day and night but mainly heard at the front of the property. Plenty of walks from front door and friendly shops and pubs (dog friendly)

We had a very relaxing stay in this lovely cottage that had everything needed including a sweet garden, comfortable big beds and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the interiors. Parking is easy, right outside the cottage front door. We would definitely recommend.

Spent a week here, could really have stayed much longer - Its a perfect property in a perfect location. The host was really helpful and responsive, and the cottage was really easy to find just round the corner from the main square in Masham, about a 5 minute stroll if walking. On arriving, we had the instructions on how to gain access and this was very easy. Once inside, it felt like being at home, really comfortable and very welcoming. An instruction folder for the cottage, plus lots of information on local walks and places to visit, which was really helpful. The cottage itself is as described, 2 good sized bedrooms, good size bathroom downstairs and a toilet upstairs. The kitchen was of a good size and well equiped. The garden was an added benefit and a great place to sit after a long day out walking. Masham itself, is a lovely market town with good pubs and shops, and within easy reach of the wonderful dales and near by picture postcard villages. Perfect cottage & a perfect location

The cottage is beautifully decorated with lots of lovely accessories. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds and sofas were very comfortable. The garden was safely enclosed for our dog and there is an area that's a sun trap with near the kitchen door. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Our stay in Masham was made even better by the beautiful cottage provided by Dale. It was spotless and we felt right at home as soon as we got in. We had no issues at all with our stay as all communication was pro idea proactively by Dale. We would definitely recommend this property to others looking for a cosy cottage in the countryside.

Lovely cottage, easy to find and access was simple, overall the cottage was clean and comfortable a few cobwebs here and there, but otherwise clean! Lovely area with lots of nice pubs and places to eat within walking distance. Down by the river is a nice place to walk the dog, would highly recommend this lovely place, hope to visit again in the future!

The cottage is beautiful and the hosts are informative and helpful. A good size property for our family of 4, including 2 teenagers, plus a quaint private garden space, ideal for our dogs. Although parking was never an issue, space outside the property is limited and the road is very busy. However, Masham village square is a 5 minute walk and has ample parking and a great pub/restaurant called the Kings Head. Highly recomend this property as a base for exploring North Yorkshire.

The cottage was very pleasant and had a garden for a dog which was very handy. The curtains do let the Sun in in the morning so bring some blackout blinds. The location was excellent and very close to the town centre and lots of plenty of walks straight from the front door.

Loved our stay at willow green it was perfectly situated in the gorgeous Masham. The cottage was beautiful and very clean, the garden was lovely and so nice that it was secure for the dog. We will definitely be returning.

A lovely cottage with some quality fixtures and fittings. Very clean and comfortable. Would easily recommend. In need of a little TLC here and there but nothing that affects your stay. Parking is advertised as 'on premises' but it is actually on street, but we never had a problem parking outside the front door. Maybe it is just the Yorkshire in me but a Teapot would be nice (not included). Overall though a great place to stay and in a great location to either drive out to the many sights of the Dales or a walk into the town centre for a pub, shop or café.

We were a party of 4 adults.We had a very pleasant stay at Green Willow.The cottage was cosy,clean and well equipped and it was easy to walk into town. We enjoyed using the facilities in the garden when the sun shone. The kitchen and second bedroom were a little cramped but this wasn’t really a problem.

A really lovely place to stay for a few days. The house was clean and well presented. The house had all amenities you would need, lovely kitchen ware… if the weather is poor and it means you stay in, the TV doesn’t have any live channels-but if you have Netflix account or want to watch something on an app on the TV, you can. The open fire with logs ready and waiting were very welcome as the weather had turned colder and wetter. It was so cosy! Nice sized garden that would be really great to use in good weather. I would definitely go back and stay again it’s a stones throw away from the main town of Masham and all its amenities.

Green Willow is a beautiful cottage and had everything we needed. Very comfortable and cosy. It’s in a great location 5mins walk to centre of Masham, which is a lovey town. We had issues during our stay with front door lock jamming, this was dealt with first time but not second which was disappointing. Make sure this has been corrected before your stay! Otherwise, lovely.

My sister & I plus, Darcy the puppy had a most wonderful 3 night visit to Green Willow Cottage. While the downstairs open plan living space is compact it is very well equipped with everything you will need for your stay. Upstairs the master bedroom is spacious while the 2nd smaller one can just about squeeze in two people. We both commented on how comfy the beds were. Miss Darcy was very happy with her safe and secure garden for the duration of her stay. The only inconvenience is that the cottage is on a busy road with wagons going back and forth to the animal feed depot 200yds down the road. It certainly didn't spoil our stay but others might feel differently. Masham us a characterful market town with plenty of places to eat, just a 2 minute stroll from the cottage. We would highly recommend Green Willow Cottage, as a home away from home and would gladly return.

Absolutely lovely cottage within walking distance of beautiful Masham square. Very comfortable and homely and well equipped kitchen. It was great having outdoor space and garden furniture because we were lucky enough to have sunshine during our stay. It was a pleasant surprise that the tv was a smart tv and we could access Netflix etc because we were away with our choccie lab and stayed in during the evening. Highly recommend this cottage!

Great position for our family wedding at Swinton Estate, the cottage was lovely and clean and cosy for our stay. The 5 minute walk to shops and pubs in the square was ideal for us. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable, if a little wonky (the floors in this old cottage are quite sloped). All in all this cottage was the perfect base for our family of four in Masham.

Had a great weekend at the cottage. Just as advertised, comfy, clean and close to the centre of Masham. Great that it had an enclosed garden as we had a pooch with us. Parking is on the roadside but got outside the door on both evenings.
