Lovely peaceful break in a quite location just a stones throw from Whitby town. Nice view from lounge and bedroom, easy to find and access. Well equipped, lovely comfy sofas and appreciated the Christmas ornaments. Would use again and can highly recommend Host and stay as helpful and reliable.

Just about exactly what we were looking for, easy walking into town/bars, every thing nicely presented. Wish we'd found the blackout blind on the first night! Wish it had been closer to town when the heavens opened walking back on Friday night! All in all a great stay and a super location, the view down the Esk from the waterside path to the town and abbey is great.

Had a great stay in Whitby the apartment was lovely with parking which was a bonus & was just as described in the pictures. Close to Whitby only a 10 min walk into town. Charlie was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay at Freshwater, the apartment had everything you could need and was very peaceful & quite. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We loved staying at Freshwater. Beautiful apartment with a stunning harbour view, modern design and lovely walk down into Whitby. The owners have really thought about the little things like key hooks, blackout blinds, box of childrens toys, umbarellas etc. We also really liked the parking space. It was very peaceful and always something to watch - train, boats, salmon jumping from the window. We would absolutely return. Our only little criticism was the cleaners letting the apartment down. There were alot of cobwebs on the livingroom roof, the whole apartment was very dusty and there were crumbs on the kitchen table. We had to do a big clean before we got going which wasnt the best first impression but once that was done we had a lovely time.

amazing apartment decorated beautifully in contemporary design Lovely view from windows overlooking river and we could see the steam train.Only a short walk to harbour,shops and restaurants . Would definately recommend and would love to come back.

We absolutely loved Dales apartment. Everything was perfect. Location, amenities, decor, communication!! The bedrooms were huge, the bathroom was beautiful and the lounge/kitchen area was very well equipped and cosy. We will definitely stay again if we visit Whitby and would 100% recommend.

Had a fantastic stay at Whitehall Landing in Whitby. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything needed for a relaxing visit. This was a lovely place to stay, just out of the hustle and bustle of Whitby. The directions and Google pin were an excellent way of locating the Apartment. Close enough to the centre for an easy walk in to all the shops and sights. This was a lovely, spacious apartment with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would highly recommend and definitely return.

Absolutely lovely apartment, really well situated and spotlessly clean. Received check in details first thing in the morning and a useful guide to everything in the apartment. Overlooks the harbour so nice view from the living room window, designated parking space and hardly used the car because everything was in walking distance. Can't fault the place or the hosts. Would definitely book again if coming to Whitby.

The apartment was in a very quiet block and had a designated car park spot. It was a 10/15 min flat walk to the centre of Whitby, exactly as described. The apartment was very nice, lovely fixtures and fittings and very clean. Instructions of how to gain access were clear and a very good guide book online and in the apartment. I would without doubt recommend this apartment and would be happy to stay there again.

Very pleasant stay here, it was both quiet and relaxing. Apartment was spacious and comfortable and well equipped (except it could have done with a tea towel!) The shower wasn’t great but not the owners fault, it was just because it was an electric shower. Parking space ideally located right outside the main door and no issues with availability. Location was ideally placed for a 10 minute stroll into the centre of Whitby. Would recommend and stay here again if back in Whitby

We had a great few days here in Whitby. The apartment is great, has everything you need and some lovely little touches. Location is amazing with plenty to see from the window, wildlife, trains, rowers, boats and of course seagulls! Short walk into the town and local chippy is amazing.

The place was great, very spacious and fresh feeling. Rooms all spotlessly clean and comfortable. Easy 15 minute walk into town with a toddler in tow, pleasant walking along the harbour. Located in a quiet residential area with nice views of the river, we would stay again.

This apartment was spacious, comfortable, very clean and well equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The area is peaceful with nice views over the river and the town and seafront is only about 15 minutes walk away, perhaps less for younger people! We spent 3 relaxing days here and would definitely come again. A couple of points to mention is the fridge,which froze everything in it even after turning it down, and a hand rail in the bath/shower for the less able would be good addition.

Well maintained and presented property, comfortable super king beds and nice bathroom. Shower was adequate. Kitchen compact but very useable, all the necessary equipment and dining table adjacent was handy and comfortable. Lounge was comfortable with lovely view across the river. Overall great location, easy parking in a reserved space. Quiet location with no noisy neighbours, easy 15 minute walk into town centre, loads of eateries of varying prices and standards, would recommend very highly. Only confusion came on checkout, e mail the night before said noon, whereas every other communication said 10am, called host and stay the managing agency and although I knew I was speaking to a call handler at Airbnb in USA she maintained she was working at host and stay in Uk. Airbnb don’t pretend please, be honest with your clients.

It was perfect apart from the confusion on the last days with departure time which had us rushing to leave when we thought we had plenty of time. Text arrived at 9.02 contradicting the departure time in the guidebook and email.

Easy from time of booking and great communication and instructions. On arrival we found the apartment to be spotless and everything we needed was supplied. The view out on the harbour was a wonderful extra. Quiet area and having a parking space made things a lot easier and cheaper during our stay. A folder giving a few tips about the local area was supplied and really helpful in choosing local restaurants and cafes. Overall a fantastic stay and wonderful accommodation we could not fault- Thank you!!

A wonderful property situated within easy walking distance of the centre of Whitby. Just over 10 minutes walk alongside the estuary to reach the swing bridge. In the evening we would recommend stopping off at The Middle Earth Tavern for a drink - half way along your walk in! Apartment is tastefully furnished, very well equipped and spacious with the added benefit of a parking space. Owners were helpful in splitiing one of the King Size doubles into two singles - perfect to accommodate family of 4. Beautiful views along the estuary from the lounge and master bedroom windows. We even saw the steam train pass once each day. Restaurant recommendations- The Star Inn and Trenchers.

The apartment was exactly as pictured! Parking and check in were both really easy. The location was lovely and just a short walk from Whitby’s centre as described around 10 minutes to the main bars and restaurants. The bed was extremely comfy! We would definitely recommend this apartment and stop here again ourselves.

Lovely accommodation, the bedrooms are a great size with ample wardrobe space. Great living space too with a wonderfully stocked kitchen in terms of cutlery and plates etc - perfect for self catering especially with children. Only a 5-10 minute walk into Whitby and lovely views of the estuary and the steam train across which comes and goes and is lovely to watch/listen out for. Would highly recommend!

Perfect! Beautifully decorated apartment with lovely views of the River Esk. We come to Whitby every year and this is one of the best places we have stayed at. Equipped with everything you need to cook in if you wanted too. Really comfortable beds and only about 15 minutes walk to the main shops and restaurants. Would recommend this to everyone!

What a beautiful apartment! We had everything we could possibly need, all of the extra touches didn’t go a miss and was truly appreciated. The location was stunning and a short walk into Whitby, we had a jam packed three days with so much to do in the area all within driving distance. If your looking for an amazing Italian restaurant we came across Moutreys restaurant in Whitby and what a treat that was!

Gorgeous apartment - less than a 10 minute walk from the Town with the added bonus of free private parking. Lovely and clean and decorated to a high standard. The bed is amazing and huge! (there were 2 bedrooms - we slept in the bigger bedroom) it was lovely and quiet - however we did hear the train passing around 6am ish which was mentioned in the description and so was fine and expected. Lots of storage and wardrobe space. Plenty of info provided on local attractions. Highly recommended and we would stay again :)

This is nicely presented apartment which is conveniently located just a short walk from the centre of Whitby. Check in was excellent, very smooth and easy. We had a couple of minor issues with a leaking tap and a dishwasher that stopped working but the host was very responsive and communication was excellent. The leaking tap was rectified very quickly but unfortunately the issue with the dishwasher could not be resolved before we checked out. Not a major issue as we simply hand washed the dishes.

Excellent apartment. Almost faultless. Stayed here with 2 young children. Even found some unopened beach toys in the cupboard for the children. Equipment and facilities at the apartment fantastic. Everything really good quality. The comfiest Airbnb couch ever! Really quiet in the apartments. Hassle free check in. Extremely clean. Location 10min walk from town centre. Quality apartment, best Airbnb we’ve stayed in. Excellent customer service. Will stay here and with you again.
