We really enjoyed our stay at Foggyshaw. The property was easy to find and as per the photos, if anything it’s actually a bit bigger than it look in the photos and there is large TV in the living room area. The whole place was very clean and tidy, with a well equipped kitchen. The local pub was typical of a small village out in the dales - good beer, and good food with a friendly atmosphere. Book a table in advance as it can get quite busy on a weekend from what we found although they still managed to squeeze us in. Host and Stay were quick to respond to any questions we had, and provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out etc.

Nice few days here. As we have young kids, we wanted somewhere quiet with easy access and parking and this delivered. It is equipped with most things - no kitchen bits for young children e.g plastic cups, small cutlery etc so best to bring your own if needed. A few things to note: Middlesmoor is at the end of a narrow steep road, 20 mins from Pateley Bridge (where the nearest shop is). So to visit anywhere you have 40 mins of round trip driving just to get to/from Pateley Bridge, as you cannot drive past Middlesmoor in the other direction. WiFi and 4G are available but we found both to be almost non existent for most of the time. there was also no dryer or BBQ, both of which are listed. The house is VERY dog friendly - while it was mostly very clean we were greeted by a ball of dog hair rolling down the hallway like tumbleweed and the oven hadn't been properly cleaned. overall best suited for dog owners who want to disconnect. Families with young kids should plan accordingly.

Great value, clean and well located property. We had a lovely stay for a family birthday weekend with my parents. The house is really warm and cosy, and has everything you need. There is a nice pub in the village (we were a little shocked by the price of the mains but won around me they were served, all home cooked and generous portions). There are some nice walks nearby including to the next village. As with many AirBnBs, supplies of toilet roll, bin bags and dishwasher tablets were a little on the sparse side. But overall would highly recommend
