This was terrible. I arrived late afternoon with 3 generations of my family including 3 kids under 5. After being in the property for 10 minutes, using the lockbox as entry, I had a call to say my booking was cancelled due to a plumbing issue and no hot water. No help or anything offered, stranded with 10 of us looking for somewhere to stay all of a sudden! Host didn’t seem to care. We found a lovely place 15 minutes drive away and actually was a relief. The house is generally stained, dirty, cheap low quality bedding and tbh was a relief to leave even though was a big inconvenience.

Came here to celebrate my sister hen party. Was a brilliant venue and literally a 1 minute walk away from the train station. The bedrooms were perfect size and the house beautifully decorated. Definitely recommend this place and will be coming back in the future.

We’ve just come back from a wonderful stay for my sister’s hen do. The rooms were lovely and spacious and lots of bathrooms. Location was great- a quick 5 minute walk into Harrogate. Social space in the house was perfect for our large group.

A great property, clean, warm and comfortable, although a bit scruffy on the stairs (I guess not all guests are careful) We were a family group (rather than a hen party) so it wasn't quite set up for that eg MANY wine and champagne glasses, but no big pans, so we had to buy one, but otherwise very well equipped. We enjoyed the many bathrooms! It is a fantastic house, loads of space and fab, central location, and we had a great time together

The house was great, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms & in a great location. The house is in need of some TLC, the carpet on the stairs is very stained and there are marks all over the walls. The oven didn’t work very well, which wasn’t great when trying to cook a Christmas lunch. It took twice as long to cook everything as it should because the oven didn’t heat up very well. It also appeared that the cleaning staff were sat waiting for us to leave on our check out day. They were there from about 9am & they made it awkward for us to leave as they were blocking the driveway. Leaving at 10am is early enough without feeling pressured by the cleaning staff.

Great location, close to the train station and shops. Very large house, good space! Cooking area in the kitchen was a bit small for the amount of people staying but not a big issue. No real complaints, just could do with a lick of paint as walls had old sellotape left and scratches, stains on stair carpets. Would’ve been nice if host could’ve accommodated a slightly earlier check in and slightly later checkout.

Great house, perfect for a Hen party or Birthday celebration! It has been recently renovated and the bathrooms are super modern, majority of rooms have an en-suite, 2 that don't share a gorgeous master bath and there are also 2 other WCs. The getting ready room is a gorgeous touch too! Lovely linen and towels too. Small downsides that there were no oven gloves and not the right amount of chairs for dining table. It backs onto the train station which is a very handy location but if you're a light sleeper pack some earplugs and an eye mask! Host & Stay were very responsive and we had a great stay - highly recommend!

We had a great stay. The house is perfect for larger groups and was squeaky clean. Only point of criticism is that the walls could do with repainting in places but it must be difficult to stay on top of that kind of thing with a house that is specifically designed for lots of people! Would definitely stay again and will be recommending to others.

FABULOUS We stayed for a hen do- location was perfect, convenient for train station, shops, bars- only a 2 minute walk. House was beautiful- rooms were huge, light, bright and airy. Bed linen and bathrooms were spotless. Beds super comfy. Great communal kitchen and dining area. it is need of a little freshen up of walls and carpets, but this doesn’t detract from how wonderful this house is. NOTE the listing states a £25 security deposit but when paying for it, they asked for £75…. Check your details when booking.

We had a great stay here celebrating a Hen Do. The house was bigger than expected, with many toilets and spacious bedrooms. The kitchen was a great space for hosting and dining. Overall the home was perfect for what we wanted, and matches what is shown on the listing. The only thing would be that the photos show 12 dining chairs when in fact there were only 8 upon arrival so we had to use the bar stools to sit around the table. Other than that, we had a perfect trip and would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It’s perfect for a big group of people, all bedrooms are beautiful almost all with an en-suite. Beautiful living room and kitchen. The only thing I could fault was the amount of chairs in the kitchen that were broken but I contacted the property and they assured me they would look into this. We had enough for the amount of guests we had booked for. The location is absolutely perfect. You can see the station. If we were to come in the future we would get the train with this in mind. Shops and restaurants are all a small walk away. We loved our stay. Thank you!

Overall this is a great house for groups. Positives include - Bedrooms and en-suites are a good size and comfortable. Kitchen and lounge albeit on separate floors which was a slight inconvenience, are both good in size. The location was great - so close and walkable to places including supermarket. Response to questions/issues very quick . Negatives - We found a lot of the cutlery, crockery and cooking equipment dirty and had to clean before use. This was reported and we were offered for a cleaner to come round. Also reported was that our request for one king bed to be made into two singles as offered on the Listing was not adhered to and no single bedsheet or duvet for one child was provided on a busy road though this did not bother us.

We have all had a great weekend in Harrogate. The location was brilliant next to the centre, the train station and really handy for being able to park at the back of the house too. The house was decorated beautifully and was great for our annual Christmas get together. It was all really clean and the make up station rooms were perfect for us girls! I don’t have any complaints but just wished we could have just put our bags into the hallway when we arrived at 12:30ish so that we didn’t have to carry them round with us especially in the storm! We all said we’d come back here so thank you again for your hospitality.

We had a great weekend on east parade. The house was really central and easy to get to from the station. Great house if you have an occasion and lots of people getting ready together. We would definitely book it again.

A very good first impression on entry. Nice spacious house with good facilities, clean comfortable chairs and beds. Easy walking distance to town centre and shops but noise from trains and street. Car parking OK but limited to 3 full size cars. Bedrooms have no wardrobes and not all have hanging space. Some showers had sewage odour. Heating and hot water were not working. Handyman had to force open basement door to access boiler as no key to door to basement available. We find it very bad that after property had not been recently occupied that a check was not made by housekeeping before arrival that heating and hot water were working properly. Contrary to UK guidelines, no fire extinguishers in the property, only a fire blanket in kitchen. House description not accurate regarding location of beds able to make to twins. Limited cooking utensils if you want to cater for large party. Agent deducts a £10 handling fee to repay breakage deposit we feel excessive especially nothing damaged.

We had a brilliant stay here for a girls weekend. Pictures exactly like the house and rooms were very spacious and very clean! Great location just round the corner from the station so very easy to get back and forth from York. Despite the station being behind the house we found it quiet. Majority of people found the beds comfy however you’re never going to please everyone with individual preferences on mattresses. Would highly recommend!

Great property and location . My complaint is in relation to the deposit . £500 security deposit paid . Takes far too long to refund it . I am still waiting on 26th August and finished stay on 14th August . Also the 125 admin fee for this is highly unusual .

Positives: clean, spacious and modern, fun decor. Close to Harrogate town centre. Negatives: not enough chairs for everyone to dine together, limited kitchen items (oven glove, knives, pepper) no speaker - music system. Oven might need a new element, didn’t get up to temp. The living room smelt musty, we decided not to use it. The hosts don’t know the property. We couldn’t find an iron and the host said there wasn’t one and after buying one we found one! The property says it has shower gel, there wasn’t any. It said it didn’t have hairdryer, it had 2-3. They require an additional deposit of £250 when you have already paid for this protection through Airbnb. It then takes 14 days or more to get this back. It really wouldn’t take much to make this place 5 stars, but it felt like it’s been a bit neglected.

Really nice clean place, very spacious. One issue was that we’d booked a private chef for our second night and realised that there was only 9 dining chairs (2 of them the backs were broken). The pictures advertised 12 and there should have really been 14 for a house of 14. The chairs in the other rooms are all high chairs so meant we couldn’t all enjoy our dinner properly.

Other than a few minor details which keep coming up like the key box, no twin beds set up, no tea towels the house itself is excellent for discerning groups It’s stylish, brilliantly located for entertainment , sightseeing, restaurants, is spacious, light and airy with super comfortable beds, immaculately clean bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen It’s a delight to have so many bathrooms and so much personal space

We stayed here for a friends hen and it was a great weekend. The house is very well decorated and the bathrooms were all great. The beds were good and was perfect for entertaining. Also the location was perfect for the train station and for exploring Harrogate. Some of the chairs in the dining room were broken so something to watch out for, but otherwise had no issues and would definitely recommend to others.

Perfect house and location for family reunions. So much to do. We did the theater, cinema, escape rooms, dinners and drinks out (cosy room, Betty’s T shop were big favorites!) all within a few minutes walk. Shopping locally was ideal. We even took the train to York! So easy!! Was just perfect for all ages 7 - 80. We would most definitely book this again!! The house was perfect. Our group kept different routines. Some up early, some to bed much later, but the sleeping options and lack of noise that travels through the property meant no one was disturbed by others. Brilliant!

Large house in good location with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our family of 15. Good communication and instructions for house location and access. Overall the house was very clean and tidy and the beds were very comfy. Would definitely stay again. Living room only had enough seating for 5 people, so with 8 adults we weren’t able to relax in there all together. Making a meal for all the family was a bit of a struggle with only a few utensils and blunt knives. With no serving dishes we had to resort to a Roses tin!!

Booking was easy. House clean and tidy and in a great location. We had a great few days whilst at a conference. Went to Bettys and had a take away on the lovely big table! My only gripe was that we had to pay a non refundable fee in case of any damage, this was only mentioned after paying for the accommodation - I would have preferred this being included in the fees as it was a large group and I couldn’t then ask everyone for extra money, so I just paid it but wasn’t really needed. Would stay here again with a group.

The house was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The rooms were immaculate and the bedding was perfect, beds were comfortable. Once we turned the heating was turned on it was lovely and warm. Our issues were that there was no key in the key safe, we were refused an extension on the stay for an hour but couldn’t get in the house for an hour and a half. The communication regarding the key was sent to a call centre, transferred to someone in England who asked load of silly questions on which box, where was the box all while stood out in the poring rain:( The next issue was the beds, we requested for the available bedrooms to be made into two doubles. After contacting again they told us they could do it on the next day. We only stayed 2 nights so totally pointless at that time. One of the downstairs bedrooms smelled really badly of sewage, looking back at some reviews this is not the first time. There was also a broken glass in the cupboard. Although we had problems the house was lovely.

Beautiful house and great for our hen party. The facilities are lovely, and the house is furnished to a very high standard. The location is perfect, a 2 minute walk from the station and 5-10 minute walk into the town centre - a perfect destination for our group. Issues with the key not being in the box when we arrived. Was sorted quickly after a phone call. But only one key for 14 people staying. The accommodation is spotless and so nicely done out. Great amount of kitchen items and the furniture was lovely. Not hand soap in all the bathrooms which was a shame. Great location right on the edge of Harrogate and within walking distance of everything we needed. Quiet at night too and you can’t hear the trains even though right behind. Overall the perfect stay for our hen do and the house was just great. Would recommend to others. Very quick replies to questions etc too.

Booked this place for my best friends hens weekend and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Beautifully decorated, every room was lovely (no bad rooms!) and communal spaces were great for hosting a large number of people. Place was spotless and the host and stay team were super helpful and responsive in the run up to and during our stay. We didn’t know Harrogate before booking but were also super pleased with the location. Everything is waking distance, and there’s a huge mix of things to do for such a small town. Loved it! Thank you.

Highly recommended for large parties, 2nd time staying there,first time with a hen party, second time with friends.Walking distance to all amenities and plenty of parking directly behind the property in the train station car park and not expensive. There are also 2 parking spaces down the side of the property at the back.

This is an amazing place to stay in central Harrogate for a large group. It is walking distance from so many beautiful parts of Harrogate, feels perfectly safe at night and the interiors are top notch. The decor is beautiful, the colours and artwork are fabulous. There’s plenty of room everywhere and feels larger than the photos. Everything worked. So many en-suite rooms, we had a fabulous stay. Thankyou.

An amazing house for a large family gathering. Beautifully furnished and every bedroom was really nice. Beds were really comfortable. Great location within walking distance of Harrogate shopping and restaurants etc. Host and Stay were very responsive to any queries I had and always very polite. It did say there was parking for 4 cars at the rear which was not possible for 4 large cars so one of us had to park at the multi storey which is just around the corner. You could probably fit 4 small cars in? That being said we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would return and would recommend this property to any groups wanting to visit Harrogate.

Perfect place for what we needed! All the guests loved it, especially the vanity rooms. 3 minute walk from the station, however the lockbox at the front of the house was broken and I have seen others says this in their reviews so this should be fixed. That being said with a phone call to host and stay we were given the code to the side of the house lockbox within 5/10 minutes. Sadly when we booked it said there was a 15th bed that could be made available, but when I asked to use this I was told it was no longer an option which should’ve been communicated prior to booking/as soon as the option was removed. Apart from that the house was amazing, really clean and in the ideal location.

Was absoloutely blown away by this property. Hired it out for 2 nights for my sisters 21st birthday and everyone was so pleased with it. The bedrooms were gorgeous and the kitchen was definitely the place to be! Modern and boujee - exactly what I was wanting. Only reason I gave the check in a 3 star instead of 5 like the rest, was due to being given a code for the lock box that wouldn’t work - so had to phone them and get the code for a different box instead. However, this being said, the person on the phone sorted this problem very quickly and it was just a small hiccup. Overall, really pleased. Had a great weekend and would definitely stay again!

I was extremely disappointed, when I booked this Airbnb in December it was sold as a 15 bed property, 14 bed with one sofa bed. I was advised to contact a week before to have the bed made up but when I did they advised me there is no longer a sofa bed and the property is now 14 bed! This was a hen do and in the end I had to advise someone they couldn’t come! This person had paid their share which o had to transfer back and host and stay would only refund two thirds of that amount! The property was totally miss sold and ended up having a total knock on effect on the weekend as the bride was extremely upset! If I had known when I booked I wouldn’t have booked this property! Another disappointment was One of the rooms radiator didn’t work so the room was freezing!

The place is great on the inside very modern and very clean great place for get togethers I cannot fault that. My disappointment was the first impressions on arrival outside the property there were rubbish bags ripped open and bottles just dumped next to the bin. It looked a total mess then when we came to the rear of the parking there was broken glass and in the corner a black box again over flowing with rubbish. After this we were unable to access the property due to a faulty key lock on the main door when we contacted the host we were told they will have to send someone out but didn’t know how long ! Luckily this was resolved with use of a side door. I also think the check in and out times need looking at and also did not appreciate being bombarded with messages daily regarding when we needed to check out I feel 10am is not a reasonable check out time and the fact there is no option to extend this for an hour isn’t great. Other than this the inside of the property is great.

Great place for family birthday gathering and very close to town centre. All rooms very well appointed with comfortable beds and all but 2 with generous en-suites. Perhaps we missed it but couldn't find a inventory (or a cork screw!!) anywhere or how to report minor maintenance issues. We we're unfortunate to have a overflowing bin outside the front room window which Host and Stay could not get collected during our stay, so apologies to them to adding to the mess on our departure. If you're looking for a great night out on the town or a private gathering location this place if well worth the money with if great facilities and 5 star rooms.

The house is done out absolutely beautifully, with gorgeous interior design. The location was incredibly central, right behind the train station -it took less than 5 mins walk to the high street. We stayed with 7 couples but it would be perfect for a hen do or a ladies getaway as the dressing rooms are fab! Loved the fact every room was very equal in size and quality so no one needs to fight over the best room, and the kitchen/dining area was plenty big enough for everyone to sit together. It was a really nice touch to provide tea, coffee pods, milk, salt & pepper ect. Absolutely perfect thank you!

The place was large enough for our multi-family group, had sufficient amenities and was conveniently located. Special thanks to a dressing room with a lengthy tabletop and many outlets that worked great as an office for remote work and schoolwork. Unfortunately, the heat did not work upon arrival. Troubleshooting unproductive, so we had to leave a member of our group to wait for service (who was able to fix the issue). The next day, water leaked through the ceiling from a shower floor above. Again, one of us stayed back to meet a service person (who resealed the shower, but it was out of service for next 24 hours). These were frustrations, but we got through it and still enjoyed being together- most of us. Worse was that hours after check out, the host inquired about a cracked mirror in one of the bedrooms, brought to their attention by housekeeping during changeover- a mirror that was cracked upon our arrival. Next time, I'll take photos. The inquiry remains unresolved, a burden.
