The space
Garnet Street is a beautifully presented property with high-spec amenities throughout. Located in the heart of Saltburn, close to the town centre, it's in a prime location for enjoying all that the town and North York Moors National Park have to offer. The beach is just at the end of the street, providing easy access to the coastline. You'll have full access to the property during your stay which includes a living room, open plan kitchen and dining area, four bedrooms and two bathrooms.Upon entering the property, you'll find the living room to the right as you enter. This space is fitted with two relaxing sofas, a large bay window, and a flat screen Smart TV.
Next is the kitchen diner. Shaker in style, the kitchen features light cupboards and smooth wooden worktops. Fully equipped for self-catering stays, it includes an integrated oven, an electric hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, blender, air fryer, and cookware. If you don't fancy cooking during your stay, there are plenty of great restaurants in the area!
At the top of the stairs is a modern bathroom with a large freestanding bathtub, separate walk-in rainfall shower, WC and basin.
Upstairs on the first floor are the first three bedrooms. Featuring a comfy king-size bed and neutral colour schemes, the two larger bedrooms are perfect to retreat to after a busy day of exploring Saltburn. You'll have plenty of space to unpack your belongings as there are bedside tables, a wardrobe, vanity table and luggage stand.
You’ll, also, find a further smaller bedroom, designed in a minimalist modern style, that has a comfortable double bed, bedside table, vanity desk and clothes rail.
The top floor is where you can find the fourth bedroom with skylight windows boasting views across the Saltburn rooftops, a king-size bed, wardrobe, vanity table and a comfy leather chair. A stylish ensuite bathroom with a window is also included and is decorated in with a cool copper interior.
Garnet Street is a family-friendly accommodation with amenities for children, including a travel cot, high chair, children's plates, bowls, and cutlery, as well as a dartboard and table football for their entertainment.

Guests have access to the full property.The keys to the property are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to check-in.
Free on-street parking is available around Saltburn.
Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay at the property per reservation.

A little disappointed with the cleanliness on arrival- hair in shower drains, kitchen not totally clean and rubbish and crumbs under the sofa cushions. the house is lovely albeit a bit tired and in need of a bit of attention (eg. kitchen worktops which are a bit stained). The bed in the small room has a broken leg and base and the radiator in that room is leaking. On reporting this the host was responsive by email. The location is amazing and we will return without hesitation. Despite our disappointment as detailed above, the house is lovely and spacious and ideally located for the town.

The house itself was perfect, close to the beach, close to shops it was lovely. We have stayed in saltburn many times and this house was everything we needed! However the house was so dirty. It looked like it hadn’t been hoovered, there was mud on the sofa, paint that had fallen off the walls due to damp left on the kitchen worktop, rubbish left in the bathroom bin, the bed was broke in the smallest bedroom, rubbish all over the floor in the playroom, the bathroom tap didn’t turn off without brute force, the kitchen sink had left over food in it and clearly hadn’t been wiped, the dining table was sticky, the lock for the front door took us 10 minutes to get in it was so stiff. Amongst many other bits that just weren’t right. The house itself would be wonderful if it was just clean! It’s in the perfect location and big enough for large families. Despite the uncleanliness, we had a lovely stay.

We had a lovely 'Twixmas' stay at Garnet Street. Communication was excellent from the host in advance of our stay. The space is bigger than it looks in the photos and the location is ideal. You can see the sea from the front door, there is a playground at the end of the road (ideal for families) and then a short walk right onto the beach. The kitchen is well equipped (we made a whole Christmas dinner there) and in general the facilities are great. There was only a pod Nespresso machine so we bought a cafetiere and left it there for future guests. The price for our stay was amazing for the time of year - just looked to book for next year and the price has gone up considerably though. I hope we'll be back in the future.
