A little disappointed with the cleanliness on arrival- hair in shower drains, kitchen not totally clean and rubbish and crumbs under the sofa cushions. the house is lovely albeit a bit tired and in need of a bit of attention (eg. kitchen worktops which are a bit stained). The bed in the small room has a broken leg and base and the radiator in that room is leaking. On reporting this the host was responsive by email. The location is amazing and we will return without hesitation. Despite our disappointment as detailed above, the house is lovely and spacious and ideally located for the town.

The house itself was perfect, close to the beach, close to shops it was lovely. We have stayed in saltburn many times and this house was everything we needed! However the house was so dirty. It looked like it hadn’t been hoovered, there was mud on the sofa, paint that had fallen off the walls due to damp left on the kitchen worktop, rubbish left in the bathroom bin, the bed was broke in the smallest bedroom, rubbish all over the floor in the playroom, the bathroom tap didn’t turn off without brute force, the kitchen sink had left over food in it and clearly hadn’t been wiped, the dining table was sticky, the lock for the front door took us 10 minutes to get in it was so stiff. Amongst many other bits that just weren’t right. The house itself would be wonderful if it was just clean! It’s in the perfect location and big enough for large families. Despite the uncleanliness, we had a lovely stay.

We had a lovely 'Twixmas' stay at Garnet Street. Communication was excellent from the host in advance of our stay. The space is bigger than it looks in the photos and the location is ideal. You can see the sea from the front door, there is a playground at the end of the road (ideal for families) and then a short walk right onto the beach. The kitchen is well equipped (we made a whole Christmas dinner there) and in general the facilities are great. There was only a pod Nespresso machine so we bought a cafetiere and left it there for future guests. The price for our stay was amazing for the time of year - just looked to book for next year and the price has gone up considerably though. I hope we'll be back in the future.

A lovely time was had! We felt very relaxed and at home which was important to us having 4 grandchildren and two dogs with us. The house was perfect, clean, comfortable and in a great spot with Sainsbury's around the corner and the beach at the bottom of the street. We were able to make some lovely memories with our family celebrating our Ruby wedding anniversary so thank you. We would love to stay again.

The property is fantastic, really comfortable, stylish and well located. There are plenty of books, toys and games to keep a family entertained and the darts room is a really nice touch. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to cook, eat and drink. We like the property that much, this was our second trip after staying earlier in the year. Despite this, personal touches, such as a welcome pack with milk, wine, biscuits etc. would have been a nice addition. Supplies of essentials, such as, toilet paper were also in short supply and cleaning products for the kitchen completely absent. For the money we paid, it wouldn’t have hurt to have these available. It is clear the property is managed by an agency. I felt communications lacked the personal touch and were focused on making as much money as possible. Messages about things like the damage insurance charge, charges for extending the stay and check in, were all designed to generate extra cash for the business.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay! The house was large, clean, comfortable, free street parking and well equipped. The location is a very short walk to the beach and town shops. We would definitely recommend staying here.

The house was warm and spacious with a well equipped kitchen and superb bathrooms. Comfy sitting room with a big TV. Beds were very comfortable. The street was quiet and near the sea. The only criticism I have is the lighting in the sitting room, which is too dim if you don't want the centre light.

Beautiful house in a perfect location within the town - close to everything. Spotlessly clean, cracking bathrooms (beautiful), and as the breakfast chef I loved the kitchen. Communal areas were great and the bedrooms were perfect.

This is an older property and this lead to some minor problems due to extremely wet weather during our stay. Host was very responsive in sorting issues. Excellent location for Saltburn and great place for a large family to stay.

This place is fantastic. 7 of us stayed for 3 nights, every bedroom was well decorated and very spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need and more. The living room was lovely too, with plenty of space for everyone. We've been to Saltburn many times and this is one of the best places we've stayed. Thanks Richard 😊

Spent 4 nights with my wife and family (3 kids in their 20's) plus our little Schnauzer. The accomodation was as described and extremely comfortable and peaceful. All the beds super comfortable and very good quality bedding. Bathrooms luxurious with great showers. A loo on the ground floor, however would be be a boon. I did write to Host and Stay during our stay to say we were disappointed with crockery/cutlery and state of the sink in the kitchen. Some of the crockery and cutlery were not cleaned properly which is not what you expect when paying over £100 for cleaning. I think this, and the sink need some attention given the rest of the property was immaculate. Did not spoil our stay and we were blessed with good weather. Restaurants bars aplenty nearby and Sainsburys on doorstep. Location fantastic for these front. A memorable and lovely holiday.

Loved the house. Lots of space for us all, and well equipped. Location was excellent, with lots of shops and bars within a 5 minute walk. We loved how close it was to the beach.

Excellent stay for a long weekend with friends. The property is easily accessible and walkable to all amenities including the rail station and sea front. The property is in excellent condition & has all the facilities you might need. Only slight issue was that as we were arriving by train earlier than the 4pm check in time we were not able to store a couple of small suitcases at the property following a request to host & stay. As there were no other options available locally this was inconvenient. Reason given was not secure storage on site, however we were not going to leave any valuables & had just asked to drop 2 small cases off 2 hrs early. Never had an issue anywhere else before. Apart from this though we had a great stay there are plenty of dining options locally so we opted not to cook at the property but it is well equipped & spacious. Would recommend as long as you have a car to leave your bags if arriving earlier in the day!

We really loved staying here. The property was ideally located, being a short walk from the beach, the local supermarket and Saltburn's pubs, cafes and restaurants. It was bigger than it appeared in the photos, well equipped and comfortable. Check in was easy and the communications with the host were good, though we didn't need anything from them while we were there. A couple of things to be aware of are that parking in the local area is busy at weekends and the top floor room can get warm and humid on hot days, but there was nothing that couldn't be worked around. Definitely a five star stay.

We had a great week, plenty of space in the house for the whole family including the dogs! We had no problems parking multiple cars outside the house. Location is great with access to shops and the sea front. Ideal with the Sainsburys at the bottom of the street.

Such a great place to stay, local to all the amenities, great access to drop down to the beach, lovely house, clean, full of everything you need. Great host and communication. Everything you expect from a stay. We love saltburn in general so it was an amazing trip.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at 11 Garnet Street, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, after attending a family wedding at Rushpool Hall (just a 5-minute drive away). The house was perfect for our group of 7 adults and a baby – very spacious, beautifully presented, and extremely comfortable. The location is excellent, just a lovely short walk to the beach, shops, and places to eat. Whitby is also only a 35-minute drive away for a great day out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

We had a great stay, location was perfect, great size property and it was mostly very clean although one set of bedding had blood staining on and the windows are pretty desperate to be cleaned. Great space in the property and the yard too. We noticed some ants in the lounge on the last evening. we loved the property but found the level of customer service from the hosts 'host and stay' was pretty poor. I asked before the booking to check if there were any feather filled bedding or furnishings (because of an allergy) and was assured there wasn't any however there were a number of feather cushions in the lounge and a feather filled leather arm chair in the bedroom. I notified Host and Stay of this but got not response back. I also thought sending messages to me at 11pm the night before check out and again at 5am on the morning of the checkout reminding me to be out by 10am was very antisocial and pretty inappropriate.

stayed at Dale's place for 2 nights, all parts of our stay were great, excellent communication and quick response from Dale always, the house is spacious inside and looks new/fresh being nicely decorated throughout. location is good with a short walk to the see front and has good access to the towns restaurants. thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend.

House was spacious, and in a fantastic location, close to all amenities. The beds were really comfortable with good quality bedding, bathrooms were lovely although the shower extractor fan in the main bathroom was not working and the plumbing and hot water were not brilliant. The downstairs would benefit from some TLC, sofas need replacing, cooker fan and light did not work, sink past it’s best, door handles loose but it was well equipped. This didn’t detract from a lovely stay and we did not need to report them as issues at the time but this property could be lovely, it just needs some updating and some care.

This is a great seaside B&B, we woke up early in the morning to be greeted by the sun and walked the few steps to the beach. The room was very clean and perfect for a few friends on holiday!

Gorgeous property, plenty of space for everyone and very well situated. The property was extremely clean, and the host was very fast with responses. They was also flexible and allowed us to check in early as we was already in the area. Lovely view of the sea as soon as you come out the door. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

A spacious well thought out house with everything that you could need. We travelled with three teenagers and there was space to relax together, play games but also have space too! Lovely decor and comfortable beds! Great showers and a relaxing stay!
