One of the best Air b and bs iv stayed in. Stephen was great who owns it very helpful.

Amazing house!! Beds are sooo comfy! Hot tub is amazing! Kitchen outstanding!! Decor looks great! Bliss! Would have much rather dealt with the owner than the company that is letting it out, would never go through this app again for this property I would go direct! 4pm is too late to check in, the company were not the best to deal with, the only cared about us booking more nights, I was told I could check in from 3pm and nobody told the owner, which lead to a very awkward interaction, will go direct from now on, such a shame because I have no negatives for the property!

Me and five friends stayed at this beautiful house for our annual Christmas get together, and it exceeded all expectations. The house is absolutely stunning even better than the photos and every little detail has clearly been thought of. From the generous welcome hamper with a lovely bottle of Prosecco, to robes and slippers provided for each guest, it truly felt luxurious and welcoming. This was without a doubt the cleanest property I’ve ever stayed in through Airbnb. The surroundings are spectacular and incredibly picturesque, making it the perfect setting for a relaxing break. The host was welcoming, attentive, and available if we needed anything, while still giving us complete privacy. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. We had a fantastic stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property. Thank you x

Absolutely beautiful home- even better than we imagined. From the moment we arrived, everything felt so thoughtful and welcoming. We were greeted with a lovely welcome basket on arrival, which was such a special touch, and we even got the chance to speak to the host in person, who was incredibly friendly and helpful. The house itself was spotless, spacious, and finished to such a high standard. It truly felt like a home away from home. They had absolutely everything we could’ve needed during our stay; fresh towels, cosy gowns, cleaning supplies, tea and coffee, and plenty of glasses, mugs, plates and more. Every little detail had been considered. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Would 100% recommend and would absolutely stay again.

Stunning stay at Finch House. A much-needed girlie weekend made idyllic by the luxurious surroundings, peaceful views, and champagne in the hot tub! After a lazy morning, we went to Saltburn for the day (35min drive). Swimming in the sea and using the sauna for a few rounds of contrast therapy. Lunch at KOZE and a mooch around the shops, then home for cold bubbles in the hot bubbles! Super comfy beds. A kitchen/dining area that gave us a dinner party feel every night. We loved it. We'll be back!

This property was more than amazing, but it was overkill for our stay. We arrived at 4.00pm and left at 7.45am the next day, and used the kettle, bed, Showers and the extremely nice welcome pack! Steve came to welcome us and ask if we needed anything?.... a taxi? he was more than happy to take us, a real gent! If you are looking for a luxury stay, gorgeous accommodation, beautiful outdoor space, look no further you will not be disappointed.

This review is entirely about Finch House and the owners Stephen and Dolly - it is not about Host & Stay who are the agent and with whom our interactions before the visit were disappointing. The owners of Finch House(Stephen and Dolly)are wonderful hosts who are very friendly and informative and they went out of their way to make us feel to home and to advise us of places of interest locally, good restaurants, etc so that we got the most out of our stay. The house is stylish, luxurious, spacious and superbly equipped and the garden is immaculately maintained with a hot tub, two BBQ’s and a relaxing and dining area affording fantastic views of open countryside. The hosts have put so much thought into the extras that helped make it such a special stay - from the welcome hamper on arrival to providing robes, slippers and towels for outside use. We cannot recommend Finch House or the hosts highly enough - it is a very special place!

A group of 6 mature ladies and our first impression was WOW! A beautifully presented property - it was very easy to feel at home and relax into. The kitchen is really well equipped, quality bed linen and towels too. A thoughtful addition are the towels and slippers for the hot tub! Great to have access to smart speaker ‘Alexa’ too for a bit of music! We only stayed for one night so we are unable to comment on the local area but from chatting to Stephen (the owner), he would be happy to advise. A lovely touch was the welcome hamper. A short visit but very enjoyable. Thank you

We stayed at finch house for 3 nights with the family, the property is a credit to the owners who have put so much thought into every aspect of the property, on arrival we were greeted by a complimentary basket with some treats in it which was gratefully received by my children. Nothing has been left to chance with this property the attention to details shows in every room and the hob tub is a great addition (we were also provided with robes, slippers and towels for the hot tub) which was a great touch The host was very responsive and I would definitely return to this property again

The location was beautiful, the hot tub was great, the house was immaculate and Stokesley was a 15 min walk away with some lovely shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend 👏👌

It was a beautiful place with a modern look. All amenities worked well and the surroundings were beautiful. The hosts were very responsive and were nearby to answer any questions. Overall a lovely stay and would definitely stay again. The only thing we felt would’ve helped was if there was more privacy as there are no blinds or curtains for the big windows. Hot tub was great and it was very clean, a pleasant experience enjoyed by all guests

Had an amazing stay for my Dad's 50th Birthday, the place is beautiful and has every single thing you would need. Had a lovely welcome box with snack and prosecco waiting for us on arrival which is a very nice touch. Only negative is no movement on earlier check in / later check out.

Beautifuly presented 3 bedroom property with two ensuite bedrooms. Comfortable stay with a great kitchen. outside space was fabulous with BBQ, hot tub and plenty of comfortable outdoor furniture. Outdoor sitting area offers fantastic countryside views with horses in adjacent feilds. The moon could be watched to rise over the local hill line in uninterrupted view. Although the facilities list doesn't mention it there is a high chair on the property. Could do with some fans in the bedrooms for hot weather but lots of beautiful sash windows provided adequate cooling. Great place with lovely hosts.

Had the most amazing stay for our mini moon after our wedding. This home is next level, the detail and finish of this place is unreal and is such a high standard. The views are to die for, especially with the great touch of the hot tub. The dogs absolutely loved the secure garden to run around. There was a welcome hamper which was a welcoming touch. We will definitely return and would recommend to anyone. Beautiful and extremely clean and fully equipped. Most importantly the host is extremely friendly and the guide provided for the stay with local recommendations is brilliant. Thank you again for a great stay!

I stayed here for my birthday and it was absolutely perfect! The place was super clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and fun stay. Lovely stay. House was just as described. Hot tub was easy to use and had great views of the surroundings. Seeing the horses in the field next door was lovely too. Garden was massive and the dog loved it! A few pubs/ restaurants / shops were about a 20 minute walk away from the house. We had some issues with the water pressure but were reassured by the host that this was due to be fixed the day after we left. The host lives next door and provides their telephone number at the house for any issues and were very helpful and quick to reply. Messages on Airbnb go seem to go to a company to answer and they were not as helpful.

What a beautiful place, extremely well kept, it was like we were the first people to stay. Amenities were spot on. Location is ideal if you love being outdoors, full place flowed lovely, bifold doors connected inside to out. Owner came and introduced himself, he was very friendly and said if we needed anything he was next door and on hand anytime which was good of him. Welcome basket was a lovely touch and bottle of fizz was unexpected, put a smile on the Mrs face. Beds were (little too) comfy, didn't want to get out of them! Every room is finished to the highest quality. Communication pre-stay was brilliant, responded quickly with anything we asked and the offer of places to recommended was a nice touch too, if we weren't from round the area that would have been very handy. Will definitely be back to stay again, we all loved it, my son can't wait to go back to the 'fancy house'.

Wow. We had an excellent stay at Finch House. We arrived to a spotlessly clean home, feeling like we were the first people to stay there! The House was beautifully decorated, and lots of little touches eg hot tub towels, slippers, plenty of shower gel etc. that made the stay very easy. Plenty of cutlery, plastic glasses for use outside etc. The garden and setting was beautiful and as well maintained as the inside. We had a fabulous time and would love to come back!

Loved our stay, great house, clean and everything we needed, with nice extras, welcome hamper, bathrobes, towels and slippers for use outside. Great entertainment area outside and in large kitchen diner. Would have liked more flexibility with check in, 4pm for property was OK but it would have been helpful if we could have left the car earlier, had to change our plans for a walk and pub lunch on first day. Took off one star because we had 2 occasions when we lost water pressure in the showers yet there were only 2 of us staying and this had been reported on previous occasions so expected it to have been resolved.

Overall, this booking was worth what I paid however because there were many issues with the hot water. I would recommend that everyone understand where there is an issue currently the entire house hot water and hot tub water heating is controlled by a central system. The system tries to maintain equilibrium throughout the property however, from day one we encountered many hot water issues from not having hot water for showers not having enough heat in the bedrooms and then never having the hot tub at a good 40°…. As one of the reasons we specifically chose the beautiful home was for the hot tub experience, I’d like to share that when the hot tub does get to temperature and get the pleasure of using it, sadly after maybe an hour you have to get out as the temperature drops and becomes not warm enough to relax and have fun in. The tub then takes a number of hours to reheat . So limited use.

amazing stay, the house was perfectly clean and had everything we needed. the hot tub was lovely and the towels and slippers were a great touch! secure garden for the dog with amazing views. the only issue was the water pressure upstairs wasn't great and did occasionally stop working completely in the taps. managed to still do everything we needed to so wasn't a huge problem. everything else was perfect and would definitely return.

The Finch House was a beautiful and peaceful way to spend Christmas with family. The house is really well laid out and well equipped with luxurious quantities of pillows, gowns etc and everything we needed to cook many meals. The hot tub was steaming on arrival. We were amazed and delighted by the extent that they had gone to make us feel comfortable and welcome, with beautiful Christmas decorations and the table set for our festivities (including crackers!). (Just wish the host didn’t use host &stay as it loses personal touch. Including them declining to let us in the building 10 minutes before the check in time as they ‘don’t allow early check ins’).

We really enjoyed our stay at Finch House. It really is a gorgeous property and we had a great autumnal break with our family. The only areas for improvement would be the water power to all showers in the property, was very weak which was not enjoyable when getting showered and I would have been unable to wash my hair there due to this. Also communication from the host was not great, who wanted to confirm guest numbers on the day (whilst travelling to the property) and who told us the booking was cancelled due to more than 6 people attending, we’d booked for 6 adults and 2 babies as per the search functionality. This was rectified shortly after - but we as a real unnecessary stress and hassle for my family for the 15 minutes we’d been lead to believe the booking was cancelled whilst on the way there for our family staycation!

Had a lovely stay at Finch House, decor and furnishing completed to a high standard, lovely hottub, comfortable beds and some friendly horses in the field opposite. Would have liked the opportunity to have an earlier check in or check out so it could have been enjoyed for longer. Negative- not about the property- if looking at takeaways don't order from spice lounge, wrong order/missing items leaving someone without a meal, they won't rectify the issue.

We had a lovely stay, the house is outstanding, we were a little surprised the owner was in the other side of the property but once we checked in we were left to our devices and the property felt private. Beautiful countryside views all around, the equestrian centre next door has visitors coming and going but hearing the horses added to the ambiance, if a bit smelly on warmer days, but that’s the countryside for you and we soon got past this. Would happily return.

Fantastic stay here with my family for my birthday. The property was immaculate, modern, and comfortable. Nice weather meant we spent a lot of time outside - fab hot tub and BBQ area. Enclosed and safe garden meant the dog was happy!! The views are also incredible. Lots to do - not far from the beach, plenty of hikes, local towns to explore. The hosts were lovely and very welcoming. They also left us welcome gifts which was a lovely surprise!! Thank you for our stay we will definitely be back.

We had a beautiful stay in this home set in the quiet English country side with beautiful views and gorgeous horses in the area. The house feels brand new having been newly renovated and us absolutely perfect for a family stay. What makes this home stand out though, is the host’s attention to detail. We had everything we needed in the home and the small touches, like hot tub towels, slippers, drinks, and blow dryer made us feel very welcome and like our comfort and enjoyment was genuinely cared about. The only thing to note is that the home is half the building and although the entrance and grounds are private, the other other half of the building was occupied. Perhaps this was unexpected only to me as an American. This however, did not impede our enjoyment of the home at all and we would highly recommend this property and hope to return again ourselves. The home really is as lovely as the photos.

Finch house is definitely the most luxurious place I have ever stayed at. All rooms were in pristine condition and we could not fault our stay one bit, the photos were very accurate for what you will expect inside. The land and view of the mountains felt incredible when we were sat outside enjoying the sunshine. The owners met us upon arrival and were incredibly friendly and helpful with any questions or issues we had whilst staying with them. The pubs and restaurants in the village close by were beautiful too. We are looking forward to our next stay! Definitely recommend staying here! Thanks so much.

This place I highly recommend. It is located in perfect area. Peaceful. The hoodie overall had everything we wanted. From the hot tub to the rooms everything looks as it. The host was welcoming, make us feel safe and comfortable.

We booked Finch House for a surprise birthday, and it was just amazing from start to finish. The property is absolutely stunning and the views are to die for. The pictures really don’t do it justice, the property is completed to a very high standard. We met Stephen, the owner when we got there and he couldn’t be of more help. He sent recommendations of things to do, and was very attentive throughout. You really must give this a try - I know we’ll definitely be back! The house had everything we needed and more, including robes and slippers for the hot tub. Our dogs really loved the big garden too and have slept all day since we got back. Thank you so much for having us!

Myself, my husband and a couple of our friends had the pleasure of been the first guests to stay at the newly built finch house and all I can say is WOW! From the second we drove up, we were blown away. The garden area and the views are incredible. Having a morning coffee in the garden, overlooking the views whilst watching the horses was a highlight!. The house inside was pristine. The decor is stunning!! classy, modern and also really cosy. We didn’t want to leave! The attention to detail was incredible. From the welcome pack, to dressing gowns, to the hot tub towels and slippers! It seemed to have everything and more!. We had the pleasure of meeting Steve and his wife too and what a lovely family they are. Nothing was too much trouble and he made that perfectly clear throughout our stay. It’s a short walk to stokesley (about 10 mins) which has shopping, bars and restaurants which was lovely. Overall we cannot wait to book again! (& again!) Best place I’ve stayed in a long time!
