Lovely furnished holiday home, cosy and clean, beds were comfortable. All amenities good and a very well equipped kitchen. Only downside was as we stripped the bed before we checked out one of the pillows was heavy soiled, not really the nicest thing to see..

Interesting property, slightly quirky, very near the centre of Whitby, and close to plenty of restaurants and pubs. Accommodation spread over 5 floors. Very comfortable with good quality fittings. Attention was needed to some items that were broken or faulty when we arrived, but the agents are dealing with these, and gave quick feedback when issues were pointed out. We were six mature guys on a golf trip. The property suited us very well as we were able to have individual bedrooms, most of which had en-suites. Being close to the town centre, parking could be an issue in peak holiday season, but there is a permit system, and we managed 2 cars without any problems. Overall, we were very satisfied with the property and felt it good value for money

Great property in the centre of Whitby, the house felt even bigger and more spacious than the pictures on the listing. Parking was also easy with the supplied 4 day permits, plenty of spaces on the surrounding streets. 5 min walk to the harbour. The bedrooms are comfy with nice new, modern bathrooms. Can't really think of any bad points at all.

Amazing home, clean and comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, super warm (we turned the heating down!), wonderful en-suites. Little bit of damp in the main big bedroom, but it's an old house and wasn't detrimental to our stay at all. There was a big storm when we were in the house, and we all felt cosy, dry, warm and safe. Would come back!

Lovely property, though not for those who don’t like stairs, as it is spread over multiple stairs and the poor sod who gets the bedroom at the top has ton of stairs to climb! :-). But very nicely appointed and worth the climb for the view!

Great place, perfectly suited for a large group of people. All bedrooms are a great size and just to be able to sit as a family and have breakfast together round a large table was amazing. Every possible thing you would need is there - you don’t need to take anything with you. Location was also excellent, just a short walk from the harbour and shops. It’s quite hilly and we had two 80+ year olds with us but they managed just fine. Lovely coffee and breakfast sandwiches at Stokers directly beneath and great value hearty food and entertainment at The Granby just fifty yards away (but you need to book a table to avoid disappointment). To summarise, I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thanks for a great stay!

What a fabulous place to stay. We were a family group from all over the UK and it was perfect for us. Plenty of room very light and airy. Great position for getting around Whitby. Had delicious meals at the Fisherman’s Wife and A Passage to India. Would definitely recommend staying and will come back again.

Fabulous place for a family get together. Great facilities. The best of Whitby on your doorstep. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Large windows let a lot of light in but curtain arrangement didn’t quite black out fully in some rooms so worth bringing a sleep mask. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our daughter’s 30th

We were staying in the town house with a group of friends. It was fine but it could have been a better While the bedrooms are a good size and the beds were comfortable, the heating was a bit of a mystery and appeared to be disconnected in some of the rooms. There was also a large patch of damaged plaster in the 4th floor front bedroom and the room smelt damp, especially when it rained. We noted something growing out of the gutter above where the damp patch was. The bathroom drains were smelly but this cleared after the pipes were flushed through. The kitchen was fine and had almost everything we needed, sadly the large coffee pot was broken before we arrived. We did report this but it wasn't replaced before we checked out. The shared spaces were okay, the lounge was bright and sunny (when the sun was out) but felt cool in the evening. The dining room was fine but most of the light bulbs had blown so it was darker than it should have been, hopefully new bulbs will be fitted.

Great place - very attractive and comfortable and perfectly located for everything in Whitby. Highly recommend for groups of friends or family or for just two couples if you’re feeling indulgent! Very comfy beds but lucky I take my own pillow as the pillows are very hard which we found rather surprising given the thought put into the rest of the comfort. Minor point but worth knowing.

We were a group of 10 staying for 4 nights. The house is in a great location, just a 10 minute walk down to the shops and restaurants in Whitby. A huge and elegant house with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. Perfect for large groups. Great value considering the size and location. The host was very responsive to questions and we were sent a link to an app which had all the house details (from WiFi, to check in/out procedures). Very useful! However, a couple of things were a let down. Firstly, the house rules state that either a £25 fee or £250 deposit is required for damage protection. However, a week before check in they asked for £75 or £500! Even though AirBnB supported stated that they should honour the £25 fee, Host and Stay just ignored it! So BEWARE! Secondly, the bedroom on the top floor with the en-suite STINKS! Our youngest was staying in there and we had to move her out! It was terrible. Paint flaking off the wall! They need to sort that ASAP!

Fantastic house, just like pictures, lovely decor, very clean. Great for our 70th birthday get together x 3 families. Comfy beds and living areas, very central location for everything, lots to do in Whitby, right on doorstep. parking was absolutely fine, again not too far away from property. Host provided lots of information on getting there, what to do, very responsive throughout, could be accessed via phone easily during our stay. Would consider booking again should an occasion arise. Really great place, thank you for a lovely stay.

Great location and beautiful home. Great for a family get together with the size of the home. Everything within walking distance. Had everything you could possibly need within the house games, utensils, 2 fridges, plenty of toilets, underfloor heating. Would definitely recommend and I would most certainly return.

Great location and property. House well decorated, bedrooms lovely and comfortable. Close to restaurants, cafes and bars, parking is quite restricted even with parking scratch cards, but that's Whitby I believe. Great area for walking along the coast with fantastic views. Some issues with amenities, but the management team responded and addressed promptly. Would definitely recommend, however would also suggest to double check about amenities in the property against descriptions to avoid disappointment.

This is a fabulous property! The location is perfect and the views from the upstairs bedroom are fantastic. It is beautifully decorated throughout and the beds were very comfortable. We had loads of space for 12 guests and would definitely stay again. The property is only let down a little by the management company. Firstly despite the Airbnb listing stating that there is a cot and travel cot and the management company stating that a crib would be set up, there was none supplied. When we questioned this we were told that the company don’t supply cots. Luckily we were able to purchase a travel cot at Argos but it was an unexpected and unwelcome cost at the beginning of our holiday. Infuriatingly we later found a travel cot in one of the wardrobes! Secondly there was only one parking pass left out and it took until the morning after check in fir is to be rectified. Another unexpected and unwelcome cost for overnight parking.

What a beautiful property, with fabulous furniture and furnishings. Well situated to be out of the main area but not too far away. This was a great base for our family as ut was dads 80th birthday. As this property is spread over 5 floors we put the younger fitter members at the top as there are lots of stairs. The only issue was a smell of the drains from all the en suites and the toll top bath situated in one of the rooms. Once this is sorted it will earn the 5 star rating. Would highly recommend this property.

The house on Musgrave Place was a fabulous house for all my family and friends to come together. The house was right in the heart if Whitby with everything on our doorstep. The downside of this is the limited parking. Even though you are provided with parking permits it's very difficult to find free spaces but that's just Whitby not the fault of the house. There was a bit of a mix up initially with the number of parking permits left for us but Host & Stay sorted the issue out for us. Overall we had a fantastic weekend in the house

What a lovely place to stay!! The house is amazing, full of character and very well kept. Clean throughout, beautiful features and everything was in good working order. The views from the top floor are incredible, the location is perfect for a stay in Whitby. The balcony is fantastic too, to sit out and watch the world go by. Highly recommended, would stay here again without a doubt.

We spent 3 nights in One Mulgrave Place and would highly recommend it. It is an exceptional property with 6 spacious double bedrooms, 4 with ensuite facilities - all to a very high standard. Very comfortable beds with high quality bedding and excellent ensuite facilities with lots of hot water. You'd be hard pushed to find better. Kitchen, dining room and lounge were all equally spacious and well equipped. It's in a great location in a quiet residential street but an easy walk into Whitby town centre. Good coffee shops, bars and cafes are only minutes away. We would recommend the Ditto cafe and the Arch & Abbey Bar. A great house to relax in and a pleasure to come back there after a day's walking. At the time we went (early June) there was plenty of on street parking available (permits needed). There was an initial mix-up over the parking permits but it was sorted by the Host the following day.

I traveled here with my friends for Christmas, the building is very warm and cozy, the location is a few minutes from the sea and the city center, everything is available,the reviews are only positive about both the apartment and the location

The house was splendid - a bit of luxury for a family gathering. Communication with Host and Stay was very good and they sorted out a problem promptly and cheerfully when it was reported. Parking was a bit of a pain which I expect would be worse in the summer season but overall we had a great time.
