My husband & I slept in single beds as the double was in the smaller room and right next to the outer wall.
Back windows extremely dirty, an egg had been thrown at the landing window. Must have been a while ago, looked disgusting.

Une maison parfaite et cosy pour un séjour à Newbiggin by the Sea !
Nous y avons passé 1 semaine en famille avec notre chien et n'avons manqué de rien : bien décorée et confortable, petite cour fermée, chien accepté, stationnement facile devant la maison, TV et wifi, plage magnifique à 100 mètres, superbes balades pour tous, un petit Morisson à 2 pas qui fait aussi bureau de poste..
Nous avons adoré et en garderons un super souvenir. Nous ferons de nouveau appel à Host & Stay pour de futurs sejours en Angleterre.
Je recommande sans réserve !

Very spacious little house. Good location. Morrisons 30 seconds away.
Beds are very soft, kitchen is a lovely size. Garden gets some sun during the day, so was able to get some washing dried.

Thought there could have been a few more little bits to make it feel more homely. We were only left 1 toilet roll, im sure we could have contacted for more, but we just went and bought some for ease.
More tea bags too would have been great, and a small milk instead of the UHT little cartons. This is all picky stuff and DID NOT ruin our stay.

Would have maybe liked a small chest of drawers in one of the rooms to keep smaller items of clothes like socks and underwear.

Wonderful little house , comfy beds and everything you need . So close to the beach which was great and convenient. Garden could do with a little more adding to it but overall a great stay .

Dale was so helpful and responded immediately with any enquiry or query. The house itself was clean and perfectly located within walking distance to the stunning beach and shops and high street. Very lovely location.
Easy parking outside property with big car park at the bottom of the street.
The online guidebook was brilliant and so helpful too.
We would come back and stay here again.

It was comfortable and very clean.

We couldn’t find the cutlery and had to ring to find out where it was. It was in a ‘secret drawer’ and for those people who have never see a drawer like this, it needs to be pointed out.

The owners really bent over backwards to help & had Excellent communication with owners who were so
Helpful . Property was amazing and just as pictured and we visited with our dog who loved the sea front. Local
Pubs welcome dogs. Would 💯 %recommend this property

The road that the property is on is a bit tired and typical of many ex-mining communities. However, inside of the property is light, well maintained, comfortable and matches up to the photographs online. We had a comfortable stay and everything we required was provided.
The house is within a few minutes walk of the beach, which is great for a peaceful early morning stroll.
We found Newbiggins by the Sea to be a good base for exploring many beautiful and historically interesting places in Northumberland, including Holy Island and Bamburgh, it is also an easy drive into Newcastle.

Thanks for a lovely stay. North Shore cottage was a great base for our day trips to Newcastle, Lindisfarne and Alnwick. Nicely decorated, clean spacious, quiet and everything we needed.

Nothing that I didn't like.... Could have maybe done with a few extra cleaning products for around the kitchen and an Air Fryer.

This property really is as immaculate as it looks on the photos! A fantastic and very comfortable home for a family break. The price was good value and we enjoyed our stay. The surrounding area leaves a bit to be desired and we had to do quite a bit of driving to get from place to place but we had fun and Northumberland is beautiful. The host has obviously been stung before by guests not respecting the property/the check-out time so we had a lot of reminders, automated I think, which felt a bit like a telling off, on top of a big deposit/£25 fee as insurance for the stay.
The house itself was well-equipped though and extremely comfortable (the bedrooms are gorgeous). All in all, a lovely stay!
