Bit far from front. Water pressure dropped couple of times, wondered if it was because we were at top of property. Stairs bit steep with heavy suitcases.

It was a central location, not far from amenities

We didn’t like the six flights of stairs, and we should have been informed before we booked, we are pensioners and we found it very difficult and our dog really struggled with it.

Lovely apartment close to north and south bays. Some great dog friendly places to eat.
No problem staying there again.

A few snagging issues. Didn’t ruin the holiday but worthy of note. A small part of the ceramic tiling was missing, the plug for the microwave didn’t work (other plug points near by) and 2 of the 3 blinds were damaged so didn’t fully open. Not game changers though. Would have been nice to access the outside space.

Excellent place to stay in with brilliant service and communication from the landlord. The only issue we did have was the shower was a bit temperamental with temperature and power. Other than that really enjoyed our stay 👌🏼

Close to sea front.

Area wasn't great could have been kept cleaner, black bin liner left outside property had been ripped open food and soiled nappies we had to step through to get to front door. Apartment was ok but no dining room chairs to be found we had to eat meals sat on sofa! not ideal.

Very basic property but fairly priced.
wifi was patchy at best, shower pressure was terrible and struggled to maintain temperature.
I had vehicle trouble yhe day before checkout and informed the host that I would be unable to check out before the checkout time, there was no offer of a later checkout even though I had been in the place for 4 weeks.
A bit more flexibility and consideration would have been appreciated especially considering how long the booking was.

Very neat place in close proximity to north as well as south bay and town centre.
Loads of restaurants nearby, with the scaraborough cricket just a stones throw away.
Apartment had all the facilities as advertised, kitchen was fully stacked with utensils,coffe maker etc.

Was slightly hot in the main bedroom due to the structure of the room and the window being far off,so there was a lack of airflow.

Front door didn't lock unless latch pressed a couple of times.
Bed too short for me(i'm 6'2")
Door to apartment handle loose.
Only enough coffee and sugar for 1 drink.

Everything was clean and the location is close to the beach and entertainment facilities. It is very comfortable and I recommend it.

The price is expensive for two nights.

also i tried calling the number to rebook another room 3 times. nobody could find my booking or that i was even staying at the appartment. as i had lost my booking number but still that needs improvment. i left 3 messages and nobody got backto me...

Very happy with our stay at Mount View. The apartment was modern, spotless, and well presented. We found the location brilliant - centrally located on Scarborough! I loved that there was a washer/dryer so haven’t got loads of laundry when I return home. The only niggle was that the shower was a bit temperamental, but got there in the end. Will definitely return!

parking in whole of scarborough is permit only, the place promises to provide a permit that will allow for parking outside the apartment. their only solution was to park in a carpark 10 minute walk away, and provide compensation up to £30 for a 3 night stay. it cost £36 to park for 3 nights. the apartment is up 3 flights of narrow and steep stairs which is not well advertised. anyone with mobility issues would not be able to access the apartment. there were marks on the duvet sheets and a large hole in the duvet cover, as-well as several smaller holes in some of the towels. the water pressure is very poor and the water is very cloudy, we purchased bottled water for drinking and only uses tap water for washing and boiling. the surrounding areas are beautiful and scarborough is a lovely place to visit with lots of dog friendly amenities. overall we did enjoy our visit through will not be returning nor booking through host and stay again

Great location. Super clean and good facilities. Hairdryer, some toiletries, big fluffy towels. Small amount of coffee, tea and milk which was nice. Well equipped kitchen. Good permit parking. Overall a great stay but with some niggles but I would go back

A spare full loo roll would have been nice. We didn’t get the parking permit despite ringing up and being promised it would be brought round. However we didn’t get a parking ticket so it was ok but I was worried. Hidden insurance cost £25 or £250 bond returned less £10 within 3 weeks was a shock but I should have read the small print before booking. Paid insurance but added to overall cost.

Hob in kitchen and cutlery needs a good scrub. Settee wasn't comfy enough to sit on for long.

Great location off North Marine Drive, so a bit quieter. Ideal for Peasholm park(10 min walk) and 15 to South Bay.
Apartment had everything you'd need.

Great location for Open air theatre and Scarborough town centre, well appointed little apartment which was comfy and nice to just chill in if you wanted.

Apartment is on the 4th floor so lots of stairs for when your carrying cases up and down!.
2 cups in the cupboard where filthy and looked like they had not been washed at all!.

Good location for Open Air Theatre, quiet area, good facilities.

Main bed is too small (we’re only short so anyone over say 5’ 9” would struggle with it, it was OK for us).
