Fable is a stylish second floor apartment located in the heart of Whitby. Newly refurbished to a high standard, this modern apartment offers a fantastic place to stay when visiting the North Yorkshire coast. Ideally placed in a beautiful Victorian villa, Fable is close to Whitby’s West Cliff, blue flag beach, Pannett Park and town centre. Whether you’re travelling for a couples retreat or a solo adventure, this dog friendly one bedroom apartment will provide a comfortable place to stay.
The space
Fable boasts an open plan kitchen, living and dining area. A fresh and modern look is achieved with dark, navy walls and beautiful styling. Perfect for relaxing, the living area features an L-shaped velvet sofa and a flat screen Smart TV. After a busy day, you can retreat to this space to keep up with your favourite shows.

Also sharing this space is the kitchen and dining area. Ultra sleek, the kitchen has navy cabinets with a smooth white worktops and tiles. Fully equipped for self-catering stays, modern appliances and cookware are provided for your convenience. The dining area includes a wooden table with four matching chairs.

Continue along the apartment and you’ll find the bedroom. Sleeping two guests, the bedroom includes a king size bed along with a wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps above the headboard.

A double sofa bed can also be made up in the living room upon request, increasing the occupancy of Fable to four.

The shower room in Fable features a large walk-in shower, WC and wash basin. Modern, clean and stylish, this space is in keeping with the rest of the apartment.
Guest access
Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to Fable are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to your stay.

Free on-street parking is available nearby on a first come, first served basis.

Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome to stay at Fable per reservation.

Please note that there are CCTV cameras at the rear parking area, front door and side of the building externally, and the internal foyer internally. These are in place in the interests of guest safety and security.

It's not Bed & Breakfast.
The building and the flat was very clean, tidy and tastefully decorated, the out look across the road to the Pannett Park and not a bad walk down into town.

The biggest disappoint was the Sales pitch implying that there is on site parking . When there is not!!!
IT's on street first come first parked !!

Very easy to fine lucky to fine a parking space .The property had a very welcoming feeling as you entered the hallway . Our accommodation was more than adequate for a couple we couldn’t fault it very happy .

Your email should have said third box along with key code . Spent a good 5mins trying to get in the wrong box but did have a laugh about it .
You said you were dog friendly a little jar of biscuits would have been nice

Location, large double bed was comfy and normal double bed was also comfy.

If I were going to Whitby I'd stay there again if needed but also look around.

Could have been cleaner. We found hair on the floor and had to clean a few things but we had an 11 month old so maybe we wouldn't have check so thoroughly if they weren't crawling around the floor.

The sofa was a bit uncomfortable and it could have used a foot stool or coffee table but everything shown on pictures were there. Slightly smaller then we though but that's always the case with judging things from pictures.

A few things were broken too like the plug for the bath and some window catches but standard wear and tear from a holiday home.

There were a lot of subtle things that are fine on their own but add up. Things like no keyring on the keys, broken plug as mentioned, wobbly dining chairs, torn sofa that was quite uncomfortable, having to wedge windows open with random objects, no instructions for hob but eventually got it working and wobbly toilet seat.

That said, I'd stay there again, probably for a weekend but max 3 nights.

Very clean and modern, the property was not too far from the town centre but far enough away from the night life

The only thing we think it needed was a couple of small tables to put your drinks on whilst sitting on the settee
