lovely unit with good facilities

parking was non existence although was free on the street it was down a steep hill and very to find any
location a good 15 min walk to town and coming back was a steep climb up the hill

Endeavour sails is a well thought out apartment with just what is needed for a great break. It was clean and tidy, tastefully decorated and pretty quiet.

There wasn’t much we didn’t like! I had forgotten my shampoo and there wasn’t any there, but that was easily rectified.
We thought the bath towels were a little small but, again, we did manage to get dry!!

Clean and comfortable.

Contact from the agents Host & Stay. Far more e-mails and texts than were neccessary and far too long. At the end of the day the instructions they supplied were not followed and caused my wife and I concern and worry that we were being let down.

It was an easy 10 min stroll into town. The flat was well laid out and very comfortable.

Parking is bit of an issue. The apartment is right beside traffic lights at busy junction and doesn't have a dedicated space at the property so you have to unload very quickly then move. However we did find it easy to find spaces down the road beside the bus stop.

First impressions of the outside of the property were not very good, but once inside the apartment was lovely. We had everything needed for our stay & it was very comfortable

No parking, but we were told to park just down the road where there were several spaces each time we moved the car

The apartment was amazing. When we arrived we found it clean and it had everything that you could of think of, to make your stay there as comfortable and easy as possible. Parking the car was not a problem. I did not want to drive, infact I only used it once, out of a 5 day stay, and that was only going to the supermarket which was very easy to find
I will be staying again next time I visit whitby. I have also told all my friends and family, to use that apartment. Everything at your apartment was outstanding

One thing that springs to mind was the bus stop being literally outside the apartment. That was a great help for myself and my mum. Also I was glad that you had a folder there with all the relevant information, to help you with your stay. I used it to ring for a taxi

Nice and clean, very well equipped. Tastefully decorated, bed really comfortable, would stay there again but perhaps out of season.

Parking was an issue and an inconvenience, walk into Whitby was ok, very hilly so walk back was a challenge. No where in walking distance to buy provisions. Shower room really small and unable to lock the bathroom door. Wasn't keen on film on windows but understand why it was done.

Die Kommunikation mit Host & Stay ist sehr passiv aggressiv. Es wirkt so, als hätten die Vermieter negative Erfahrungen mit Gästen gemacht und geben deshalb ständig Hinweise, was man alles nicht darf und worauf man achten soll. Ich habe mehrere Nachrichten bekommen, was alles beachtet werden muss und wie man die Wohnung hinterlassen soll.
Man wird ständig darauf hingewiesen, dass man das Apartment sauber und ordentlich hinterlassen soll, was nach einiger Zeit etwas nervt. Es ist klar, dass man eine Ferienwohnung in einem guten Zustand hinterlässt, aber bei dem Preis sollte die Reinigung inbegriffen sein.

Außerdem muss man kurz vor dem Beginn des Aufenthalts entweder £25 für eine Versicherung bezahlen oder £250 Pfund deposit hinterlegen.

Die Kommunikation mit den Mitarbeitenden war aber sehr freundlich.

The apartment is lovely, comfortable and stylishly appointed. Whitby is a wonderful town.

We pride ourselves on being good guests and unfortunately we found the communication with Host & Stay poor and the £25 damage insurance excessive and we would not rent another one of their properties again.

I found the keys accessibility really easy.

The fact that the flat was called Endeavour Sails, this is what we looked for from the street. When in actual fact the property was called Prospect Villa. We added an extra hour to our search to find the correct property. We had to ring the out of hours service and leave a message so again we had to wait. When the guy rang back he said I will send you the email with all of the details which we had not received earlier!!!! Not good. The shower head moves when you put the water on and the doors do not close thoroughly, so the water goes on the floor causing a potential slip hazard. The kitchen taps move when you turn them on and off. The non refundable damage insurance is a cheat as we have never had our money non refundable. Someone finds it funny to through stones at the bedroom window in the early hours causing lack of sleep. The stomping above our heads woke us up at 7am both mornings after a 4am disturbance with the window??

The flat was comfortable, tidy and clean.

We were under the impression that parking was available at the flat. Unfortunately, parking was only available down the hill, if you were lucky. As the windows at front and back were masked out, you could not see out of the windows, and we were unable to open the front ones for fresh air. You need to be aware that the shower cubicle was very small.

The property was a the picture showed.
So cosy,quiet and homely and had the WOW factor.

It was a pity that there wasn’t an outdoor space that one could use. This would have been wonderful considering we had fabulous weather. The outside was a bit drab BUT superseded itself once we stepped inside!

The apartment was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable and only a ten minute walk to the harbour, bus and train station. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bed was comfortable.
Check in was seamless thanks to the emails we received from the host telling us how to access the property and as suggested by them, we parked about 5 minutes away, leaving the car there for the length of our stay.
We are looking forward to returning to the property at some point in the future.

Lovely apartment, clean and comfy. Looks to have been recently decorated / carpeted and all the kitchen kit you could need is provided. Lovely comfy bed and a nice en suite shower / bathroom. Cosy living room with a nice TV with a lot of apps - also took my firestick for the Man U Arsenal game!!. (The wi- fi was spot on).

We parked, as advised a short walk away in a quiet estate for 4 nights with no problems - less than 5 mins from the apartment. Under 10 mins walk to town centre and the bus / railway stations.

A fabulous stay in a really lovely apartment, can't recommend enough, will definitely be our first choice on our next visit to Whitby.

The apartment was well kitted out, with loads of little extras you wouldn't expect, everything from a garlic press and cheese grater to scrabble & Trivial pursuits. Be sure to check all the cupboards and drawers to see what's provided.

The apartment was warm, clean and comfortable.

Parking can be difficult sometimes in Whitby, but parked with ease on Goth weekend where the host advised.

All in All a gem of an apartment at a reasonable price, and I will be checking if it's available the next time I stop in Whitby

On the positive side, the flat itself is beautiful, well equipped and clean. The bed was comfy and the flat was warm and welcoming.
On the negative side, the check-in was very poor. The confirmation booking email provided all details for check-in but did state we had to pay a non-optional additional damage waver before we would be given the lockbox code. You had to call a number to ask for the 'verification' email'- which was actually the damage waiver. We felt tricked. When I asked why this wasn't made clear on any of the Airbnb communication, they read a line about a damage waiver which is tucked away in the original listing. We had to call x3 to get said 'verification' message and so was 2 hours delayed in accessing the property-which already has a relatively late check-in time. Host and Stay ignored my message asking for this to be discussed.
To top off the actual stay, the flat next to us had two dogs which barked constantly ALL NIGHT. The hosts did apologise when I messaged.
