We had a wonderful stay at Empress Point! Lots of communication before our arrival, easy check in and check out. The accommodation was beautifully clean with everything we could need. Ideally situated in Whitley Bay, a great base for us to run the GNR. We are hoping to return next year if we get a place to run again. thank you

Our stay in Whitley Bay was fantastic!! You're so close to the beach we didn't hesitate about getting in for a swim, and the sunrise over the water in the morning was spectacular. The house was beautiful too and we really appreciated the enclosed garden spaces with the dog along too. It was easy to see that thought has gone into the design of every room and the house as a whole. If we can get everyone together again we'll definitely be back!

What a fabulous few days in Whitley Bay. Empress Point was simply great. The location overlooking the beach and prom was outstanding. The house was clean, modern and had all as required. The communication and information was excellent. I would absolutely come back to this house in Whitley Bay, in fact it was perfect for our family of 7, all of whom said the same.

The views were great and the house had all we needed for our family break. A few issues in terms of cleanliness and a few other issues, but hosts were responsive when we contacted them. Whitley Bay has lots to see and do. The beach is gorgeous and I would highly recommend 1910 restaurant at Spanish City. All in all nice stay and would visit again.

Nice place, great location. Modern and spacious. Very clean. But expensive, and fitted out cheaply for the standard of the property which felt like a shame. Beds not very comfortable, pillows and crockery cheap. TV didn’t have UK TV channels. Needed shutters like all of the other properties in the row, but had cheap and hard to use office style blinds. 10am checkout and 4pm check in are both annoying, and the only flexibility on this is for a high fee. Offensive repetitive emails about charging for any damage

Recently stayed for 3 nights at Dale’s place. The location was excellent, and for my elderly father with mobility issues the direct, level access to walk into the front door with no steps was an added bonus. The bedding was clean, and beds comfortable. Even though it is on the promenade the sound was quiet, thanks to good double glazing. We didn’t use the cooking facilities but they were available. Showers good and clean with shower gel and shampoo supplied. Parking was great and easy. Overall a great stay will book again if up that way. Just bear in mind it’s over 3 floors. I had to watch my dad up to the first floor as there is a return on the stairs that was narrow, but he managed as there is a handrail.

The place was just as described on the listing and photos. Very clean and well presented. One thing which would help is a small coffee table/extra table in the living area as there is only one small table, but this is just us nitpicking! Access to the parking could have been described more clearly as we struggled to find the parking but got there in the end. A good place for a short weekend break.

Brand new accommodation in ideal location. 4 big doubles with plenty of space. Walking distance to Spanish City, Whitley Bay and also Metro which gives easy access to Newcastle city centre. Beach on door step and lovely views from the front of the property. Perfect 🤩

We had a family gathering over Christmas. The house easily accommodated the six of us. The property is right on the Seafront with beach views. We enjoyed easy walks along the beach and the house is conveniently situated for the Metro into Newcastle. We had no problem preparing Christmas dinner in the kitchen and the table was adequate for six. There are two car parking spaces. Communication was good and instructions clear. We would recommend this property for a big group who want to be close to the beach.

Beautiful home and location! Check out time is a little earlier than we would have liked nonetheless it was smooth sailing, communication was great and I would recommend! Couldn’t find the tv remote however was able to use the HDMI so this was not an issue for us. Beautiful location on the beach front with stunning views. Gorgeous decor and powerful showers ! Comfy beds. Just great !

Great house suited the 6 of us plus a baby and 2 dogs. So close to the park and the fantastic beaches.The best place for us as we were visiting family.The house was warm, clean and spacious and had everything we needed.A few beer glasses would have been good as my son is a brewer and great beer expert but we coped!! Would definately stay again .

Lovely location overlooking the sea. Very clean and fresh, and nicely decorated. No user guides for any appliances in the property or television. No information on local amenities that might be needed, doctor, dentist etc. Limited recommendations for local places of interest, activities, restaurants etc. Hardly any cooking equipment: No scales/measuring jug, mixing bowls, grater, sieve, blender, baking dishes, chopping board, whisk etc. Limited saucepans, bowls, dishes. No tea pot - had to buy one. Smart TV with plenty of channels, but NO terrestrial channels available. WiFi failed on first night - good response - fixed next day.

Excellent location, 10 min walk from train station. Easy reach of multiple supermarkets. Umpteen good pubs and restaurants most of which are child friendly.
