Lovely spacious little apartment. Really clean and tastefully, modernly decorated. Great for a getaway close to the Saltburn coast. Do agree with previous reviews that the house the apartment is situated in and the entrance hallway is very run down. However the apartment itself is wonderful.

Wonderful little flat, perfect for what we needed it for. I agree with previous reviews- the outside of the building and stairs up to the flat were concerning, but the flat itself was beautifully clean and in excellent condition. The lack of any freezer or freezer drawer also surprised us. The shower could also be a bit temperamental- it seemed the warmer you had it, the lower the water pressure was. Finding a happy medium was fiddly but it wasn’t too bad. View out of the windows was wonderful, and being on the second floor I felt quite secure. Street parking was free but difficult to get near the flat itself. Bathroom and kitchen were well stocked with the essentials. Overall I would happily return to stay again

Don’t be put off by the shabby front door to the flats or the tired & dirty first floor stair carpet - it gets better on the second floor & the flat was exactly as pictured. It was very clean, the bed was super comfortable & the bathroom lovely. Overall, it was a perfect location for us with bars & restaurants within walking distance. Several are at the bottom of the cliffs though (about 150 steps) The kitchen was fine but do note, there is no freezer or freezer compartment in the fridge. There was a pint of milk in the fridge for us on arrival & basic condiments plus foil & cling film which were appreciated.

It is such a shame that the outside of the building does not denote whst the flat is actually like. It could deter people from booking, which is a shame. The carpet on the stairs needs addressing. It is a real health & safety issue. The flat was lovely , in a great spot for everything .

Apartment as described with qaulity linen, towels, fixtures and fittings. Very clean and clutter free. We didnt expent the great sea views as they were not in the property description. Previous reviews have mentioned the entrance and communal staircase negatively which I think is a tad harsh as the owner has ensured that the common parts that they have ownership of are to a high standard, don't let these negative comments put you off booking. We really rnjoyed our stay.

Wonderful location, with a gorgeous sea view. I stayed in the off peak season but during the hottest day of the year and the apartment was incredibly cool, without a fan! It was very clean, the cleaner does a great job! The front door and hall are scruffy but once you go up the 4 flights of stairs you’ll arrive in the nicely refurbished apartment. The mattress needs replacing, and is not suitable for people with back issues. But nice bedding. Well equipped kitchen but no freezer compartment, if you plan to store ice cubes. Spacious bathroom with a well-sized bath. There’s a tv but no channels. You can use Netflix, I think. Five minute walk from the supermarket, shops and restaurants. Visit Koselig for great coffee and pastries. Signals has great food. I found the automatic messages from Host & Stay a bit much, I love a more human touch (especially the responses to the reviews, which seem to be AI-generated). All in all: great value for money, recommended!

The flat is in a great location, right next to the prom, and even on a busy bank holiday weekend we were able to find a parking space with no difficulty. The flat is really cute and well equipped. The stairs are steep, and the buttons on the lock box for the front door key are very stiff, make sure you push them hard enough to hear a click.

The location and free unlimited street parking was a big asset. Using the key safe to enter was easy with the detailed instructions given. On entering the hallway was very scruffy, but on climbing the stairs to the accommodation it was clear the owners had decorated and replaced the carpet. Inside the property, all four rooms were excellent, a spotlessly clean bathroom, with some toiletries provided. The bedroom had a view of the clifftop and the pier and was a good size and comfortable. The kitchen was good with dining table and chairs. A toaster, microwave, fridge and hob & oven were also available, as were various condiments and cleaning items. The living room was a decent size and comfortable. In all, a great place to stay, the only problems we encountered were poor wi-fi, which also affected our personal data on our phones. Also the television did not work correctly, only Netflix and Youtube being available. A text message and a voicemail about these issues went unanswered.

We had a great Easter weekend in Saltburn. Long walks on the beach, followed by nice dinners in town. It was lovely and a very restful weekend. Our stay was great. The flat was very clean and quiet with great views of the beach from the bedroom, the flat was extremely comfortable and had everything you need to be at home.

Apartment was lovely and clean, recently renovated to a fair standard.However the rest of the building was in a poor state of repair, not very appealing from road-hallways/stairs damp with wallpaper peeling off shame. Mattress wasn’t comfortable could do with updating. Great location across the road to the beach and close to shops,cafes and bars. All in all a good place for a little getaway

Lovely little place. Had all we needed and more! The little bath salts and separate flannels for makeup were nice touches :) We really enjoyed our stay as everywhere was walkable and close. Plus the view from the bedroom was lovely. I think it would be good if there were a towel holder in the bathroom as we had to use the door handles. The hallway/stairs to actually get to the flat was quite run down and needs some work, it was sadly a little off putting. Nevertheless, we would definitely come back :)

Excellent apartment clean and tidy. No washer or dryer that was listed but not a problem to us. Everything you needed bedroom, kitchen and lounge. Nice atmosphere all round. The entrance hall down stairs gives a false impression and a lick of paint and tidy up would work wonders. But this reflects on your property and it shouldn’t as your apartment is really nice.

From check in to check out the stay was brilliant. All our questions were answered promptly. A short walk from the beach and the caffès and restaurants. The area was quiet and peaceful. The local Chinese Min Du is very tasty and a good price. Beach is pristine and ideal for long walks. The apartment is spacious and immaculate. Everything was really clean and tidy. We had a lovely time.

the day before my stay, i message the host as have not received check in code. i am told i need to fill out a damage waver form to receive this. upon doing this, i find i have to pay £25 extra waver fee, or £250 which i may or may not get back. sneakily hidden away in additional house rules — easy to miss — never seen this on air b and b before. this puts my back up before we've got there. upon arrival, their's 40 steps up to the flat. not mentioned in the listing. i am blind, and my girlfriend has a problematic knee, hence 10 minutes to get up and down the stairs each time. i'd have picked somewhere else if steps were mentioned. next communication from host is a list of authoritarian house rules for checking out— very patronising, telling us to clean pots with hot soapy water. honestly. we check out a day early as too much to do before our morning train and don't want to risk upsetting the host. spoilt our trip. balcony tiny, with a view of car park. please don't stay here!

Lovely touches like fine crockery, tea pot, quality linens - well equipped. Quiet house and location. Sadly, because it’s in the roof space, windows are too high for a good view of the sea! Annoying that I paid the deposit and only after was told it is ‘optional’. Information is inaccurate and the response of the company to my messages was ‘gushy’ but ineffective. There is no washer or dryer despite these being listed - and I made my choice based on the listing. Otherwise, the place is lovely- just the ‘host’ not in the spirit of Air bnb.

Flat was more or less as described. However, bed was quite uncomfortable (two single mattresses not a double), and location isn’t as per instructions - luckily a neighbour came out and directed us to the correct property (it’s one of the period properties on the street, not the newer- build block that the directions suggest. As per other reviews, entrance hall is very dilapidated - very dirty and a bit damp. Flat itself was basic but ok for a short stay.

The place was really quiet and chilled, just what we wanted. The whole place was very nicely decorated, the bedroom felt relaxing and private and the kitchen was well equipped. It was slightly missing on a few practical things (like side tables in the living room and a larger mirror in the bathroom). We had trouble finding the actual building, mainly because the gmaps location provided was of the next door flats. Thankfully a friendly gentleman pointed us in the right direction. I also had trouble loading their guide app/link because I didn't have a great phone reception, so had to struggle to find the correct apartment. It would be super helpful also to provide more details on the local area. The locals are really helpful however and we got some great tips for places to eat/drink and explore from the man who helped us out when we were wandering around the flats carpark trying to find the front door. Overall though, a great weekend. Thank you!

First class accommodation, very spacious,clean and very close to all town facilities. It was on the second floor with great views of the sea. If I was staying again with my dog I might look for a ground floor. However the accommodation was large enough to be very comfortable for more than just two days.

Fantastic location within easy walking distance of everything Saltburn has to offer. Spacious , clean and comfy apartment. Exactly like the photos. Lovely comfy bed, fluffy towels, and many homely touches. Thoughtful milk , tea , coffee and sugar supplied. Really is a home from home. If you ignore the communal entrance hall which has seen better days this is a lovely place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property in Saltburn. Although the instructions were very clear and detailed we managed to miss which flat it was in the building (it's the one on the top floor). The property is newly refurbished and in a great location near the sea but a short walk to shops and restaurants. We didn't have any problems with parking but the streets did get busy, especially on the weekend. There's lots to do in the area as it's well located for the sea and countryside.

This property is an absolutely lovely space in a great location. We stayed as a couple for a two night visit for our friends wedding in the area. The apartment is absolutely lovely with all the facilities you would want or need. The brilliant information provided by the host meant that our stay was completely stress free, and helped us enjoy the area. Highly recommend this apartment!

Our short stay was really nice and the communication was clear by the management company that run this. At first glance the building is unkept and even the hallways of the shared flat entrance is a little run down. As you make your way to the top it cleans up and then the flat in itself is as pictured. Mind the last 2 flight of steps as each step is quiet narrow. Location is good for beach and town access, parking is ample and the property has plenty of amenities. We would stay again for sure.

Great location with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The front door and staircase are rather off putting and definitely need some work/attention/cleaning. The communications from the hosts were fantastic and readily available. The shower facility was the only thing that bothered us inside of the flat and the screen definitely needs fixing.

What a fabulous place! The location is perfect as long as you’re OK with 3 flights of stairs. The flat is very welcoming, comfortable, well appointed and clean, there’s information available on where to visit and a great walk along the coastal path. The town offers lots of artisan shops as well as a Sainsbury’s and train station at the top of the road. We’ll definitely be back to explore this lovely town more. Thank you 😊

Lovely apartment, exactly as it looks in the pictures. Beware AFTER you have paid you'll get an upsell email trying to get you to buy overpriced insurance at more than 10% the cost of the rental. You don't have to pay (we didn't) but you have a series of tick boxes confirming you are responsible for everything from spills to what goes down the toilet! I don't have any problem with id verification, but this seemed a bit much.

Really lovely apartment and perfect to access the beach and town. Plenty of parking outside and close by. We’d booked for the sea view restaurant and this was a perfect location to walk there and back! It is on the top floor so a couple of flights of stairs but once you open the apartment door, the place is lovely and really lovely welcoming feel to the apartment

The photos are not an exaggeration, the apartment really is that nice once you get into it. Really well stocked kitchen with cooking oil, salt and pepper if you are planning on cooking your own meals. Beautiful views over the sea and a good location close to the local supermarket and restaurants. Short walk to the pier and a good base to explore this part of the world. Would not hesitate to stay again.

This is a lovely little flat, in an ideal location, close to the sea and the train station in Saltburn. My only criticisms are; the sink in the bathroom is a little high - I’m only 5ft and it was a bit awkward reaching up for it - and there’s only one seat at the kitchen table, which means you can’t sit at the table for a meal in if there’s more than one of you. Otherwise it’s a cosy little nook with everything you could possibly need.

Amazing place and as described, however there was a neighbour below that played really loud guitar until gone 3am over the weekend. Please consider taking ear plugs and some sleeping pills. That said am sure it was a rare incident. The place was immaculate and located right by the sea. Hosts have been very friendly too, it’s a shame the weekend was ruined by some idiot with a guitar.
