A beautiful and tranquil place. Feels really isolated and quiet. We spent the start of the year here with our friends and also celebrated our wedding anniversary. The cabin is modern and cosy with quite a technical induction hob - where thankfully the instruction booklet provided came in handy! The cabin is located in a lovely place inside the woods and is a perfect base to explore the North York Moors and the Dales with scenic drives all around. One thing to consider though is the accuracy of the amenities and lack of. Listing says salt, pepper and oil but upon clarifying with Host & Stay, unfortunately this isn’t the case. There is no paper towels, no extra bin bags, and limited dishwashing pods and an almost depleted dishwashing liquid provided. We were told to contact the receptionist for the place and the receptionist told us to contact Host & Stay instead. We went back and forth and in the end we decided to just go out and buy some. All in all, a lovely & relaxing place!

We had a lovely stay here. It was so nice and cosy. The hob is quite technical but we figured it out no problem. We celebrated my mums 70th here as she loves Whitby and it was a really close drive. We also had food on Sunday at the Stables which was so festive and cute! It was just a tad dark when arrives so some lights outside the cabin would have been good and on the lane towards the cabin.

Gorgeous lodge in a beautiful location. Spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable accommodation. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a holiday in that part of the country and we hope to be back very soon.

Stayed as a family for 3 nights. Location is lovely, very well maintained and peaceful. Interior of the Lodge was really stylish and the living and kitchen areas were particularly comfortable and contemporary. The twin bedroom is a bit tricky for two adults as there is no gap between the beds but just a minor thing. Mattresses would probably benefit from being replaced soon but they did the job for a few days. The decking area was lovely to sit out in the sun and the furniture was really comfortable. Location is fantastic for getting into Whitby and the park and ride is only a short drive away. We ate in both pubs in Egton and received a warm welcome and a fantastic meal in each. Host was very responsive and we would stay again.

Lovely cabin. Situated in quiet corner of caravan park with wooded area to rear. Short walk available through woods 1-2 miles, just enough for small children. Easy access to Whitby/Robin Hoods Bay etc. Checkin was simple and was clean on arrival. Tea/coffee provided and towels/bedding. Wi-Fi was fast, no issues watching IPTV or devices on an evening. Would Recommend.

This cabin truly surpassed our expectations. A very special experience over new year 2024/2025. Extremely clean, warm and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed every minute of staying there and only wish we could have stayed longer. Hopefully be back again soon.

Happy with our stay. We had some issues with the heating in the cabin at first, probably due to quite cold temperature outside. We could only call Host & Stay if it was an emergency, so we had to ask for help by mail. It was ok, but took longer time that way. Would recomend the cabin for warm summer days :)

Great location and area, lots to see and do, the lodge was a good size for our family, comfortable and clean. Some basics provided which is helpful as shop was a car drive away. We visited Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and Runswick Bay, all a short drive away, lots of parking but go early ish as it fills up quickly!

Beautiful lodge with excellent location for visiting Whitby! We wanted a relaxing weekend away with our baby girl and that's what we got. we definitely will be back. Only downfall is it's not very baby/infant friendly, with not much room for a cot in the rooms. no highchair or cot provided either, this could be a great addition here. All in all an excellent stay that we loved !

We had a lovely short stay here, very peaceful surrounded by forest - we saw chickens and rabbits! Close to Whitby and surrounding areas. Easy checkin / clear instructions etc. Would recommend!

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful cabin. It is modern yet cosy. The beds are comfortable and there is everything you need for a short break. It is just a 10 minute drive to Whitby. There is also a pub/restaurant which had just reopened after refurbishment during our stay called ‘the stables’, it is a 5 minute drive away from the cabin with a delicious Sunday lunch and a lovely beer garden with beautiful views. The only thing that stopped me giving 5 stars is that there were crumbs left on the dining chairs and in the kitchen drawers but this wouldn’t stop us from returning. Thanks for a great stay!

A beautiful lodge at the edge of the woods. So peaceful and relaxing in a great location only 10 minutes from Whitby. Would highly recommend and felt at home as soon as we got there in the modern open living area. Will definitely be back

Throughly enjoyed our stay over the August bank holiday. The lodge is amazing, plenty of space, beautiful decor and stunning location. Would definitely book again. The site the lodge is situated on is very quiet, nice walks around the woods surrounding it and the village is a short drive away. We ate at the Witching Post and can definitely recommend lovely food and friendly hosts/staff. We used the park and ride, about 10 minutes from the site, to get into Whitby and was ideal especially over the busy bank holiday.

Eller Beck was a fantastic place to stay - clean, comfortable, lovely decor and well appointed. The site was very peaceful and a perfect location to visit so many places. Two good pubs serving food in the village nearby. All communication was clear, prompt and friendly. We will definitely stay there again!

The Cabin is fantastic! Very clean, very well appointed with all you need. In April we were not cold once in cabin as the heating system is very efficient indeed. Beds were comfortable, we think the two single beds pushed together is a bit strange, why not just have a proper double bed? The site is quiet being set in the woods, however not busy when we stayed, so maybe different in summer months. With a car, easy and fast access to Whitby, pubs and super market. There is a path around the site we only discovered on the last evening, we were not informed about by reception, however it was a great path to walk for a little excersise. The parking area was great enough for 3 cars really! Very good communication throughout. We thought cleaning costs based on the days you stay is excessive, makes no difference, and if your clean and tidy people, changing one set of bedding and a general clean wouldn't take more that 2hours! Apart from that we had the most enjoyable time. Book pubs early as the are busy. Food and standards are high. Postgate inn for lunch. Horseshoe hotel great for evening meal

A truly amazing cabin in a great location. The deco and cleanliness was fantastic, it was so modern and well equipped. It felt like a really special place to stay and was so great being in the middle of the woods. The caravan park itself was very clean and quiet, lovely trails around the woods on the doorstep and a great place for our kids to run around Only 10 minutes to Whitby by car We’re already looking at dates to come back again, had a really lovely break away!
