The decor is lovely really modern I can’t recommend this property enough so close to all amenities but very quiet

Loading and unloading was difficult due to private road. Upstairs neighbours were noisy. The outside furniture (chairs) needed a clean. Also would be better if outside decorations / accessories could be cleaned up / refreshed

Great apartment, so close to the harbour. Warm and cozy on arrival and also a bottle of plonk in the fridge, great touch! Couldn’t fault anything and had everything you could need. Very clean and tidy. Definitely worth booking. Free parking on the street outside the apartment, we just left a note in the car to say where we were staying and was never bothered to move it.

Amazing location in the centre of Whitby but the property itself is nicely hidden away. Very cosy property. Love the shower. Feels like a home away from home. The bottle of wine was a nice touch. We would definitely stay here again.

There was no where to store hair and body wash in the shower. That is the only bad thing I could say about this property.

Fantastic little apartment, ideal location. Slight mix up on arrival but it was sorted very efficiently thank you. Would not recommend for anyone bad on there legs as the steps up (although only about six) but they are steep. It has everything you need, the amenities are great, a very well looked after and finished apartment. There is parking on the street but if you do get a space you could end up blocked in, so we used the one near the coop. Just off the main road into Whitby, and right next to the bus station, although you would not know it, it is very quiet. Nice little outside area to sit and enjoy a coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night.

Amazing location, and modern comfortable apartment. Great communication for keys, and to help with any assistance required. My only tip is to be careful if you are parking a car, make sure you are at the end as during the week otherwise you will jammed, and the cars are there for the entire day. I would definitely go back.

Great location and exactly as described. Accurate pictures and finished to a great standard.
Would definitely recommend and will use if available when we next visit Whitby.
Parking situation not great but car park scratch vouchers to allow parking within walking distance. Just needed better comms on this. Best to drop off stuff and park for an allowed hour round the corner, check in and then move car to one of allowed streets using voucher.
Now I know this it would not stop me from booking again as we just needed somewhere to leave the car as not using whilst there.
All in all the property is stunning and a great base to use for close by amenities.
And if you fancy staying in on an evening it’s a really comfortable stay.

A great place to stay, very central but tucked away, so nice and quiet, very clean and comfortable, an exceptional shower, and a nice bottle of wine awaiting us on arrival.

I wasn't happy with having to take out an additional insurance especially when there was a few broken things already in the accommodation. There is parking available outside the accommodation, however be aware of local people parking for work and blocking cars in during the week, phone numbers are left in the cars so as you can phone the drivers to move the cars which had to be done on the Monday of our departure.

A gem of a find, excellent location, very central to everything. Accommodation just as described, all to a high standard. We will definitely be returning. We used the harbor car park for our stay as outside the cottage was double parked during the day. We were able to top up via the ringo app making it easy enough not to cause us a problem.

The apartment itself was great. It was very cosy and warm soon as we came inside. Very spacious and a lovely kitchen where we were kindly given complimentary items, which was very much appreciated. A very pleasant stay until our last day.
The big issue we had was that we were told on their AirBnB: ‘free residential garage on premises’ but we parked in the alley right near to the apartment. Then on the day we checked out, we went to pack up our car to find it completely blocked in by cars all belonging to the businesses on the main road. We waited a very long time until thankfully the owners of 3 of the cars eventually came out and drove away leaving us the smallest space to drive out. This caused me so much anxiety and stress, as we needed to get back due to an emergency at home also.
I also looked at the guest book where this has been a big issue to others too.
Please just issue guests a warning about parking there as we 100% would have parked in car park to avoid this stress!

Location, price. Good Wi-Fi. Comfortable, the Good outweighs the comments below but be aware.

Advertised as ground floor, 6ish steep steps up to the patio entrance. Not easy to negotiate for my wife with ankle issues, nor me with baggage. Parking is as they say not available but the nearest car parking requires older people to get outside the property. The street clears of traffic after 6pm, however be aware if you leave your car outside the property after 7.am or earlier YOU WILL be blocked in. Best carpark is on the front, at the tourist office, a 24 ticket allows parking anywhere in Scarborough district.
We found the property to be dark due to being built on the hill, so very little natural light enters, but there’s plenty of ceiling lights.

Went into the stay with a bad taste in my mouth, if I'm being completely honest. Like most people, I filtered stays by budget, and chose accordingly. I hadn't expected to be hit with a non-refundable security deposit, or the threat of not being sent check in instructions. Fortunately, the place was stunning, and worth the extra cash that I hadn't put aside. Super convenient location. We found it really walkable, but if you wanted to explore further, busses and boats are not even a 5 minute walk from your front door. Spotless apartment, no noise from street or neighbours, beautifully decorated and the smart TV and kitchen bits came in really handy.

The bed and the pillows for me were too hard. Could do with swopping out the wooden bed for a kingsize divan, more sleeping space and less cumbersome. Also long mirror would be good!

Very new and modern with great taste and attention to detail.
Location very central.
Parking was not a problem 10 min walk away. (free street parking).
Advise do not park directly outside or may get boxed in.

Paying £25 on top of final price before key box code is given for insurance.
Alternative is £250 deposit minus £10 admin charge refundable after 2 weeks of checking out.
Its understandable if some guests in the past have left damage I guess.
Never had this before though.

Location was fantastic, close to transport links, and on a level with the harbour. Walking distance to most things and not too far but uphill to some things ( Whitby is a hilly place!). The apartment was very clean and modern with all the facilities you would expect. Teabags provided but no milk but Coop shop is close by.

Windows could be cleaner on the outside but the ones at the rear (bedroom) are at sub ground level so would be a challenge. There is no real outlook but then the town has plenty to look at.

Excellent location near CBD, train and bus stations. Modernised apartment.

Several smaller issues, which totalled a significant problem eg
1. No milk supplied for initial cuppa on arrival, after a long day's travel.
2. Insufficient toilet paper supplied for 3 day stay
3. Dangerous trip hazard at front door ie the large sunken rectangle
4. Steep and narrow stairs to access the apartment. We were not informed about these and being an elderly couple, we could not lift our suitcases ourselves. Had to find help.Very modern
5. Having to pay £25 extra for damage waiver insurance. My tablet was incompatible with this program and it caused much angst until a previous host completed it for us on his computer. No one likes being hit with additional costs and this fee should have been included in the initial price paid.
6. Rather tricky shower configuration. Also, hot water very slow in coming. Not water wise.

The property was fantastic; clean, sleek, comfortable and with all the facilities that we could’ve asked for (the fireplace display was a much-loved bonus).

The location was perfect and made it simple for us to leave 10 minutes prior to reservations or bookings along the pier, and we could still make them in time.

There was quite a lot of random rubbish and debris in the spaces between the apartment building and the building adjacent, but the inside of the apartment made up for the way parts of it looked from the outside patio.

Very cosy and comfortable and feel good value for money. Everything you would need.

Only few things that we noticed was it could fo with a full length mirror, and bigger towels. Also a maintenance issue, the shower is great and has 3 different functions top which is like a rainfall effect, body one which showers straight at you abf a normal shower head, the rainfall one doesn't work properly and leaks from the bottom. It didn't effect us at all and was able to use the shower but it does need some attention, but wouldn't be put off and would definitely book again....😁

The apartment was absolutely perfect. It had everything we needed. Great location. Felt very homely. Decorated to high a standard. Clean & tidy. Loved the little terrace.

The only feedback is there was a drip outside the bedroom window from the pouring rain which was dripping on to an exposed metal pipe. It kept us awake. Obviously can’t help the weather but if there is a leak then it should be looked at. We had to hang out the window at 3am & wrap a towel round it.

The apartment exceeded our expectations immediately, this is a beautiful fully equipped apartment, very modern and so clean throughout. Nothing disappointed our stay, the bed linen and towels were fresh, and fluffy towels were a nice home from home touch. We even had a bottle of wine left for us in the fridge. We will undoubtedly be returning here, the only downside was that we had to leave. Overall we were extremely happy with this gem and the location is perfect. Thank you for a fantastic

Brilliant place to stay in Whitby- close to absolutely everything! really quick walk into the centre and to the beach. Close to lots of great places to eat- recommend the restaurant Marine!
The apartment was spotless and had everything you could ever need!
Parking was a bit disappointing- the listing said there was lots of parking but there wasn't when we arrived...lots of double parking and getting trapped in! Heating was also a bit of a problem when trying to sleep as the apartment got really hot and we were unable to turn it down or off using the thermostat (maybe some clearer instructions needed for this?).
Again, the apartment was amazing, refurbished to a high standard, lights and plug sockets anywhere you would need one! The shower was fantastic, we didn't want to leave it! If we return to Whitby we would love to stay here again, would recommend! Thank you for the bottle of wine upon arrival too, really appreciated!

Location in Whitby was great, near the train station, pubs, restaurants, centre of Whitby. The apartment was lovely & modern, spotlessly clean, cosy, comfortable bed, great shower & had everything that you needed for a few days stay (we stayed 3 nights) or even longer. Great outdoor sitting area for the better weather & decorated really nicely with faux hedge panels & lights.
We would definitely recommend & would stay again.

Road the property is on was terrible, with all drivers blocking cars in day or night!! We only stopped for 10 mins to drop off luggage & then pack car on morning of leaving, but my husband still had to go from door to door to find the drivers of the cars who blocked us in. They worked in a salon at the end of the row & another business across the way!! We used the long term car park at Endeavour Wharf (£9 for 24 hrs) The steps leading from the pavement up to property were very steep & not very deep & would benefit from a light at the side of them, in the dark nights.

Initially, finding the specific apartment and key safe in the dark was confusing as the instructions were not clear and the photograph sent to us for identification was confusing. Also the shower wasn’t fully working which we hadn’t been informed about prior to arrival.

Everything it was beautiful. It was so clean, everything you needed was where. Towels and complimentary toiletries right down too a lovely chilled bottle of wine waiting in the fridge for you.

Absolutely nothing. Except just one little thing it was raining and the steps up too the apartment were very steep but they were covered in a green moss so they were very slightly slippery. They could do with a pressure washer on them just too remove the moss for safety reasons only.,also if you are not aware of the step down before the doors going into the apartment you may stumble.some sort of warning put in place would help.

However it was all down hill from there.

Got a message 8.30pm first night saying a builder was fitting a kitchen in upstairs flat nxt 2 days,didn't inform us the builder was staying in the flat,he played music all night long,we got to sleep at about 4.15am and woken up at 7.45am with more loud music,we were shattered and could'nt get an hour in afternoon for drilling and hammering all day,our stay was totally ruined,if we had been informed about builders we would never have booked it,and it should never have been let knowing work was being carried out,profit before people company and i will never book with them again,there's atleast another four reviews ive found with same complaint,and i did'nt appreciate getting bombarded with emails and text messages,28 at last count.

The property was close to the bus station, train station and easy walking distance to the town. The outside area was useful and the shower facilities excellent. The property was very tastefully decorated.

There were two entrances to the property, one of which was not in use. This proved to be rather confusing but with the help of the owner we managed to find the key eventually.

Accomodation and facilities were really good as was the location

This is advertised as a ground floor apartment but was accessed by several steps and no hand rails which for disabled people like ourselves proved incredibly difficult to access and egress
There was building work going on in the apartment above so we were woken up at 8am by hammer drills and electric saws and knocking nails in which is no restful vacation , spent the majority of our time out so as to avoid the noise, having since read previous comments from April this work seems to be ongoing
The rubbish from the building work is stored beside the apartment and this also included a dead decaying seagull
The accommodation itself is worth the money but everything else detracts from it dramatically and the constant bombardment of messages from host and stay is totally over the top
If you have any form of disability problems this is not for you !!!!

We hated the talking television and thought there should have been more instructions for all the electrical appliances. Even when we e mailed for help with the heating the response was what was already in the details we had and couldn't understand also there was no tumble dryer which was listed and the outside lights did not work should have a light near the steps. The apartment was gorgeous, stylish and cozy. Me and my lass loved it the moment we got in and saw the design. It had such a beautiful lounge, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, it was perfect for two people and we will be returning again for sure!

The extractor fan in the kitchen wasn't working so the fire alarm kept going off when we cooked which made us worry if we were annoying the neighbours. The neighbors were kind of loud and argued also I'm pretty sure there was construction going on in another apartment because we heard hammers and saws. Throughout the day that wasn't really pleasant. The boiler pressure kept dropping and luckily I was sent a YouTube tutorial by one of the admins to sort it out but it was a little inconvenient in the morning.

The location is great, situated behind the bus station, so close to all amenities. The apartment was superb,ultra modern cosy and everything you needed. The owner Tim was great ,very friendly and helpful.

Parking is a problem, but that is the only downside, plenty of parking close by.

While the immediate location of the apartment isn't the prettiest in the alley where it's based, it's a great location for being close to everything you could want to be within Whitby. On arrival we were greeted with the sparkling fairy lights on the open outside area, really nice touch makes it look very classy even from the outside. Upon entering the apartment you see just how beautiful the property is, it's a very modern looking, sleek design, the electric fire place with lighting colours just makes it that extra bit special looking. It really is a great apartment to stay in & really looks the part too. Plenty enough space for a couple spending a night or a few, all the facilities you'd need too. Really enjoyed our stay & would definitely stay again.

We did find a quite a few short dark hairs in the bed when we first got in, we assumed the owner or cleaners potentially had a dog? Was more of issue for my partner than myself. Not enough of an issue for me to downvote my overall rating of the apartment.
As mentioned above, the immediate area of the apartment isn't the best representation of Whitby & the area can be a little loud but not enough to disrupt your stay. That being said, the walls do appear to be quite thin & we could hear the neighbours shouting quite clearly, but again, hardly any fault of the property or host & stay.
Despite anything mentioned, I would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here if you're looking for somewhere in Whitby, & as already mentioned, I would happily stay again.

Everything was brilliant the appartment was very nice and cosy very modern the bed was comfy the shower was nice and it was so close to the town centre would definitely stay again .

Nothing I didn't like . But I would say there was only one mirror in the bathroom it would of been nice if there was one in the bedroom as well .

The accommodation was as advertised, lovely, comfortable and central. I had a big problem with the property management company. It is a shame you cannot rate this separately on booking.com and it is impossible to know the name of the management company of the property prior to booking. I have written up the problems on trust pilot under the name of the management company. I have scored a 9 on here but that is for the property only.

I loved everything about the property. it was a home from home very clean, great finish to the property, very tastefully decorated. The shower was large and powerful enough for me, the bed was super comfy we had a great nights sleep. The location was spot on, it was only a 2 minute walk into town. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Whitby, you definitely get what you part for with this property. I’ll be booking this place for future visits.

only a couple of minor whinges, but nothing would change my score from a 10. If you have mobility issues the steps to the property are quite steep. The only mirror was in the bathroom, property would benefit from one in the bedroom. Finally no hair dryer, luckily I’d packed mine, so no wet hair for me 😅

The fireplace and general design of the place was excellent. It felt like a cozy get-away. It was located very close to the centre of town and food locations.

The dog next door barking on and off but not when trying to sleep. Also the top shower setting didn’t work. Other than that it was perfect.

The location was good as in the distance to the main street. The only down side was the parking. We got blocked in a couple of times during our stay, one of the times being because of something that was taking place at the theatre/bingo place at the side of the property. The lady was quite rude and very unhelpful when we told her that we couldn't get out.
The flat was absolutely amazing. Like home from home. It was immaculately clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

As said above, the only thing we didn't like was the parking situation.

The location was fantastic next to the train station.
We were lucky to be the first to use the property and it was excellent.
Everything was clean and good quality.
Excellent shower.
