We wanted a short break after Easter and this was an ideal option. It was clean, comfortable and close to the town centre without being noisy. Although parking outside the flat isn't easy, we got parked nearby and left the car there for our stay. With trains and buses so close to hand we chose to use them to explore beyond Whitby. Everything in the town was an easy walk. The furnishings and facilities in the flat were very clean, good quality and comfortable and everything was as described.

Knights retreat was in an ideal location, was clean and tidy, perfect for a weekend get away and we very much enjoyed ourselves so thank you for providing that. However there are a few things which did affect our stay, parking was not as described - no free parking available and it was very difficult to get the car unpacked and packed again. We got blocked in whilst packing the car for check out and then had to find the owners of the car which was quite stressful and saw us having to check out in a rush to avoid getting blocked in again. Also, the upstairs neighbours were incredibly loud, could hear their full conversations, children shouting and running around until midnight. Despite these few hiccups, we could not fault the accommodation it’s self, cleanliness, location, ease of Keysafe at check in and responsive on messages.

Felt so at home, warm and cosy. Really comfortable and so close to the centre of town so, easy walking distance to everything you need. Would absolutely choose this place when visiting Whitby again. Lovely stay overall.

Great little place, exactly what we needed for a weekend in Whitby. Nice location easily walkable from the centre and nice well stocked kitchen and living area with Netflix etc. managed to get a free parking space right outside the apartment

This place was in a great spot, being walking distance to everywhere. Parking was difficult as everyone else parked there and you can get stuck in.

Very inflexible when we requested a slightly earlier check in (30 mins) due to it getting dark earlier we wanted to be able to get into the accommodation while we had some daylight. The property has very steep steps leading to the entrance so when we arrived we were even more puzzled as to why they didn’t allow us the extra time to navigate these steps in daylight Excessive contact throughout stay re consequences of breakages and leaving the property late.

Lovely clean apartment. Great location for Whitby, although the private road is a little chaotic with cars parked making it harder to get in with cases. But this didn’t spoil our lovely stay at this property. A real home from home.

Really happy with our stay. Would recommend and stay again! So close to many amenaties within walking distance. You feel in the middle of everything, but not bothered by the hustle and bustle of a busy coast. Close to many food and drink places. The apartment was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. One comment, which is more of feedback, not a complaint, is that 4pm felt late to be checking in. When we have stayed places before we could be in by 2/3pm which would have been easier. You could also hear the person upstairs faintly, but was not a problem. The outside space is lovely. 10/10 for the shower, I wish we could have taken it home with us! Extra points for having a washing machine. Parking would have been accessible outside the door, however someone was parked there when we arrived, eventually had to park at the train station car parl (£53 later) but that was of no fault of the property, just an FYI that the side street you can utilise for parking can sometimes be busy.

Very central location within easy walking access to all of Whitby’s attractions. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen worked well for simple meals. The comments about parking in other reviews are accurate. We managed a four day stay with a combination of street parking and long term overnight paid parking.

A wonderfully situated apartment. Very close to bus an rail and all amenities. Well equipped kitchen and most especially for me; a comfortable bed. Oh, and shower is amazing.

Nice, comfortable accomodation but parking was a nightmare. Managed to get a park in the lane where the apartment is but couldn't get out due to nose to tail and double parking. Would strongly suggest using one of the local car parks if planning to drive out.

Everything you need for a great stay, including an excellent shower and large TV with Netflix etc. Perfect location. Good communication/information provided. Car parking on site is an issue as others have stated so we just used one of the long stay car parks which was around 5 minutes walk away, priced at £12 for 24 hours. Bottle of wine in the fridge was a nice touch

Well what can I say the apartment was immaculate It was like being at home The decor is lovely really modern I can’t recommend this property enough so close to all amenities but very quiet The kitchen as everything you need if you want to cook one day The bed was soo comfortable and the shower was to die for I really can’t recommend this property so much we will definitely stay again we have stayed in Whitby at least twice a year for probably 15 years and this is the best property we have stayed in We will definitely be staying again thank you so much

Great apartment, so close to the harbour. Warm and cozy on arrival and also a bottle of plonk in the fridge, great touch! Couldn’t fault anything and had everything you could need. Very clean and tidy. Definitely worth booking. Free parking on the street outside the apartment, we just left a note in the car to say where we were staying and was never bothered to move it.

An excellent place to stay! It was right in the heart of Whitby and close to all the attractions, including the harbour. The apartment itself was clean and had all the home comforts you need. The shower was amazing! I would definitely recommend the apartment.

Amazing location, and modern comfortable apartment. Great communication for keys, and to help with any assistance required. My only tip is to be careful if you are parking a car, make sure you are at the end as during the week otherwise you will jammed, and the cars are there for the entire day. I would definitely go back.

Excellent location, easy to walk to the centre and all pubs and restaurants. Accommodation was very cosy, comfortable, very clean and everything you needed was there. Will hopefully be back in the summer.

Great location and exactly as described. Accurate pictures and finished to a great standard. Would definitely recommend and will use if available when we next visit Whitby. Parking situation not great but car park scratch vouchers to allow parking within walking distance. Just needed better comms on this. Best to drop off stuff and park for an allowed hour round the corner, check in and then move car to one of allowed streets using voucher. Now I know this it would not stop me from booking again as we just needed somewhere to leave the car as not using whilst there. All in all the property is stunning and a great base to use for close by amenities. And if you fancy staying in on an evening it’s a really comfortable stay.

A gem of a find, excellent location, very central to everything. Accommodation just as described, all to a high standard. We will definitely be returning. We used the harbor car park for our stay as outside the cottage was double parked during the day. We were able to top up via the ringo app making it easy enough not to cause us a problem.

The apartment itself was great. It was very cosy and warm soon as we came inside. Very spacious and a lovely kitchen where we were kindly given complimentary items, which was very much appreciated. A very pleasant stay until our last day. The big issue we had was that we were told on their AirBnB: ‘free residential garage on premises’ but we parked in the alley right near to the apartment. Then on the day we checked out, we went to pack up our car to find it completely blocked in by cars all belonging to the businesses on the main road. We waited a very long time until thankfully the owners of 3 of the cars eventually came out and drove away leaving us the smallest space to drive out. This caused me so much anxiety and stress, as we needed to get back due to an emergency at home also. I also looked at the guest book where this has been a big issue to others too. Please just issue guests a warning about parking there as we 100% would have parked in car park to avoid this stress!

Went into the stay with a bad taste in my mouth, if I'm being completely honest. Like most people, I filtered stays by budget, and chose accordingly. I hadn't expected to be hit with a non-refundable security deposit, or the threat of not being sent check in instructions. Fortunately, the place was stunning, and worth the extra cash that I hadn't put aside. Super convenient location. We found it really walkable, but if you wanted to explore further, busses and boats are not even a 5 minute walk from your front door. Spotless apartment, no noise from street or neighbours, beautifully decorated and the smart TV and kitchen bits came in really handy.

Brilliant place to stay in Whitby- close to absolutely everything! really quick walk into the centre and to the beach. Close to lots of great places to eat- recommend the restaurant Marine! The apartment was spotless and had everything you could ever need! Parking was a bit disappointing- the listing said there was lots of parking but there wasn't when we arrived...lots of double parking and getting trapped in! Heating was also a bit of a problem when trying to sleep as the apartment got really hot and we were unable to turn it down or off using the thermostat (maybe some clearer instructions needed for this?). Again, the apartment was amazing, refurbished to a high standard, lights and plug sockets anywhere you would need one! The shower was fantastic, we didn't want to leave it! If we return to Whitby we would love to stay here again, would recommend! Thank you for the bottle of wine upon arrival too, really appreciated!

We had a lovely stay here and the apartment had everything we wanted/needed. Perfect location just around the corner from everything. We will be recommending and would definitely come again!
