Damson Cottage is a superior two-bedroom holiday let located in the charming village of Thornton Dale on the edge of the stunning North York Moors National Park. This modern, yet quintessentially Yorkshire country property has been expertly designed to cater to all your self-catering needs.Step into the open-plan living and dining area where contemporary interiors meet functional design. The ultra-modern kitchen is a chef's delight, fully equipped with all essential crockery, pots, pans, and appliances, including a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, hob, kettle, coffee machine, and toaster. The bright, south-facing kitchen, with underfloor heating and a door leading to a patio, is a perfect spot for enjoying a cup of Yorkshire Tea or a glass of wine while dinner is being prepared.
The lounge and kitchen both feature Smart TVs, and the property is stocked with numerous board games, playing cards, and books for your entertainment.
There is a utility room where a washer/dryer is provided, along with a separate cloakroom WC.
Damson Cottage boasts two stylish bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom, and both offering flexible sleeping arrangements. The master bedroom, located on the first floor, features a super king-size bed, while the second bedroom on the second floor is equipped with twin single beds. Both rooms are bright and inviting, with comfortable beds, crisp white linen, towels, and a hairdryer. Beds can be configured as super-kings or twins upon request, ensuring a perfect fit for families, couples, or groups of friends.
The ensuite bathrooms are modern and luxurious, with spacious rainfall showers with additional attachments, WCs, basins, illuminated mirrors, and heated towel rails. The master ensuite also includes a bath, providing a perfect space for relaxation.
The private, south-facing patio area is furnished with outdoor furniture and feature lighting, ideal for alfresco dining or soaking up the sun with a cold drink.

The keys to Damson Cottage are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to check-in.Damson Cottage offers parking for two cars on a private drive, approximately 40 meters from the property. Additional roadside parking and a public car park are also available nearby.

Damson Cottage was absolutely beautiful. It's been tastefully modernised but also kept some of the original features. The way it's been decorated is gorgeous and everything has been done to a very high standard. The kitchen, bathrooms and furniture are all lovely and it feels really homely. There was everything you need for a comfortable stay. I loved the slogans on the toilet rolls! The cottage is only a few minutes walk into the really pretty village of Thornton-le-Dale with it's lovely independent shops, pubs (except the New Inn) and especially the bakery. Lovely scenic walks around the village. I really enjoyed our stay and would love to return and would definitely recommend.
Nothing, we didn't want to go home!
