It wasn't clear the apartment was on the third floor, apart from that the location was great. The key box to the apartment is a little temperamental. The apartment was clean & cosy with good views from the lounge window. The W parking location is near by but they go quickly. Will defiantly go back to this accommodation. Great stay

Excellent location. Lovely decor in the flat and it was clean. However general lack of basic kitchen utensils (eg corkscrew) no condiments (salt/pepper) no kitchen roll, so it felt very sparse. Heating also an issue. The downstairs bathroom radiator was not working and the upstairs bathroom has no radiator at all so no facility to dry wet towels making showering a cold and unpleasant experience. There is no central heating in the property just 2 electric heaters in each of the bedrooms. There is some under floor heating but the pre set timing of the heating is not great leaving the apartment feeling cold. Would I stay again… yes if I was only using this as an overnight stay not somewhere to spend anytime inside.

Can’t find a fault with this accommodation and would happily stay again. Easy to find, extremely central location and beautifully decorated. It was spacious, light and clean. Lots of little touches such as mirrors everywhere, soft towels and bedding available . From other reviews we’d disagree and say the seagulls aren’t an issue - we didn’t hear them at all. No faults from us - thank you for a lovely stay!

Lovely clean apartment in the middle of Whitby. No issues with seagulls. Pub outside was also quiet during our midweek stay. Had to park 10minutes walk away - all Whitby is like this but the prepaid parking cards were welcomed.

Great location, in the centre of Whitby. Not too loud despite visiting in high season and being right in the centre. Clean, well decorated, lovely apartment. Good tv. Seagulls are loud as a pre-warning but not really in the apartments control of course, could do with a few more plates, bowls etc but overall a fantastic place.

Great place, exactly as described. Really clean and well-decorated. There is a lot of noise from seagulls but nothing to be done about it - if you're like me and read past reviews, earplugs work wonders! Stairs up to the top floor apartment are fairly steep and narrow, but are well lit with automatic lighting. Really appreciated the coffee machine!

Brilliant location opposite the harbour. Let down by parking facilities (having been provided the parking pass was a waste of time as we couldn't find any parking near the apartment in the zone for the pass!) The Split level apartment itself was clean & well furnished & well appointed with a lovely view of the harbour bridge. The bedrooms upstairs were basic but nice & light. Downstairs kitchen, dining & lounge were clean and airy with a downstairs bathroom. This would be a 5 star stay for a couple if the parking issue is resolved & cleaning better managed. If travelling to it by train with little luggage it is brilliant as it it is 10-15 minutes walk from train station.

Very nice apartment, clean and very nicely appointed with everything you need. Beds were very comfortable with clean pillows, bedrooms are cosy and fresh looking. The sofa is very comfortable. Great flat screen tv. The appartment was clean and fresh. The location is great, across the road from the bridge so close to everything. We would be happy to visit again.

Good value for money, super clean and very modern, the location is great. It does have lots of steps so hard with little ones and a pram but this is wrote very clearly on the listing so we were prepared. Whenever we go to whitby, hosts normally allow for an early check in when the room is ready free of charge, but this would have come at an extra charge of £30 which seemed steep, I think if the room was ready it would be nice to allow guests to at least leave their bags/check in early. We have an air bnb at home and do this for our guests, I understand this isn't a need, but it just starts guests off on good note :) Thanks for our stay, it truly is a lovely place.

Looks lovely in the advert but lots of things need looking at. Sofa is stained and dirty and has dog hairs on .... Stairs and one of bedrooms floor was heavy in dust and hair. Upstairs bathroom flooring is water damaged, wet and spongey. Heating thermostat in main bedroom not working, so always cold. 2 plug in radiators to compensate inadequite heating for the whole appartment is obviousley apparent, but not powerfull enuff for what was needed. Kitchen appliance thick with dust.

Lovely modern apartment right in the centre of Whitby. Can be a little noisy at night given its location. This stops by 11pm though. There were parking permits in the apartment. This was not advised by Host & Stay so we ended up paying £32 for 3 days parking. Overall though it was a great place to stay.

Lovely place, fresh looking only disappointed was no WiFi. This was partly our fault as the listing said no wi fi be aware of this as it did not stand out for us, however in the property there was wi fi name and code but you could not connect. When I asked air bnb they said not on listing however host apologised we could not access it. Place was nice communication not so good when u called the support number for the company. But Charlie was helpful

as our 30th wedding anniversary, we just wanted something that would help to create the best of memories.....it did that, and more some. The location was perfect for everything we wanted. The apartment was exactly as described and on the one occasion we needed to contact the owner/host, they responded almost immediately. The only small downside was not being able to park close by but we were prepared for that, being in the middle of the town, plus the description did highlight this. A big thank you from my wife and I.....we will be back again, I'm sure.

The location for the apartment and the apartment itself was very easy. A brilliant base for a weekend away. However, I’m sure stevie wonder could clean it better. Dust balls behind doors. Dust clumps down the side of the bed. The living had a run of dirt around the edges of the room. The stairs has not seen a hoover for a long time. The bathroom looked grubby in the shower with mold growing on the silicone. The windows haven’t seen a clean either. The whole apartment needs a deep clean and a lick of paint. This is the disappoint we felt with the apartment. We did spend a lot of time exploring but when we did return the apartment we had to be be careful where we put stuff to not get covered in dust or dirt. I do hope this is booked in for a deep clean as I don’t want other people disappointed when it isn’t the cheapest weekend away on air bnb.

The apartment is nice, it's well-represented by the photos and really well-located. Unfortunately, we had some issues that really impacted our trip. The WiFi didn't work at all. We called up support and they treated us like morons 'Have you turned it on at the wall', 'Have you entered the password properly' etc? And it feels a bit insulting after reading previous reviews where this is clearly an ongoing issue. The scratch card for the parking was not there on arrival. Support said they would resolve the issue. This meant they would drop off a scratch card at some point in the key box, and NOT TELL US that it was there. So we didn't find it until the end of the trip. The shower downstairs still wasn't working. There was a lot of dust all over the place, esp. under the beds. They didn't provide a vacuum cleaner or even a broom or dustpan and brush which was a real pain since we had an infant and a pet with us. And the corkscrew was broken. Really lacking in attention to detail.

Excellent location however previous reviews about cleanliness, poor WIFI and broken shower still appear not to be resolved. Toilet in downstairs shower room wasn’t cleaned to a high standard, seat and hinges had dust still evident. WIFI wasn’t fit for purpose. Ended up using our own data. Smart TV in property but WIFI not strong enough to stream anything. Had to rely on Freeview. Shower next to kitchen is broken as you are unable to regulate heat. Water gets dangerously hot and unable to use. Hinged Doors to bathroom from main bedroom are broken with loose screws evident when we arrived. This property is modern and in a great location, however the unresolved issues really let it down. Was fine for us for the one night we were there but wouldn’t rebook for any longer.

I loved the location, within a stones throw of the river. The apartment was ok, the single beds were flat and a pancake though and had no bounce back, meaning you could feel the wooden base. Got my daughter to put the other quilt from the other single bed on the base to help. The master room was much better. The lounge is nice, well equipped but the sofa was a quite stained and needs a good clean. The WiFi never worked either despite many attempts The kitchen was poorly equipped- one teabag meaning we’d had to eek a teabag out at night when we got in, and a few sachets of milk.. not what I’d expect paying over £200 for one night! The cups and plates were grubby and sticky, not sure they were clean and no washing up liquid to clean anything? Shower facilities good Check out was 10am, asked for late mr checkout as no one booked the following day bit was refused. Was will to pay extra.. All in all, good location, needs a good clean. Think about the hospitality side though!

Had an okay stay… the flat was nice with a decent space. It wasn’t clean to highest standard as we found a lot of dust under the bed feet and behind stuff. It also had some stains in the bathroom but nothing major. Location is great with many restaurants around as well as the beach. Very close to the train station as well. We did have problems with the internet and didn’t receive much help on how to actually fix the problem and have internet access. The single beds on the second bedroom are also terribly uncomfortable. The shower on the first floor also didn’t work properly. I think is would be a better option for a couple only as the main bedroom has a great space.

Location is fantastic, really central to everything you’d want in Whitby, and you watch the bridge in action from the sofa! Accommodation is decent size, and averagely equipped. Standard of cleaning is was pretty poor prior to our stay, with cobwebs and dust in most rooms, and a huge damp patch above the sofa (appreciate that can’t be cleaned away, but doesn’t leave the apartment as it’s presented in the photos). WiFi also didn’t work, and the tv only had free view and streaming services, so very little to watch. Had planned to stream from our devices to the tv, but needed the WiFi to work to do this. Mentioned both of these in the “first impressions” feedback I was asked for and heard nothing back. Also given the need to pay an additional damage waiver (the only time I’ve ever been asked this on an airbnb booking!), all results in a booking/stay experience which was pretty average.

The apartment was in a great location and very clean, glad we didn’t take the dog as it wouldn’t have been suitable. The bed wasn’t king size as advertised and there was no hair dryer, not a big problem but travelling with 3 ladies they wasn’t best pleased.

We were on the 3rd floor - stairs were narrow - not easy with cases. Take ear plugs the seagulls don't stop! We had a nice break in Whitby - the flat is nice and well located - we parked in the Station Car Park (5 minute walk). Left the car there and used the bus. Recommend the walk to Robin Hood Bay. Nice Fish & Chips Magpie Cafe and really good Turkish in Four Seasons.

This was like a home from home & everything was as expected. Just one tiny downside…off loading the car & going up three flights of stairs was not a problem till I returned to move the car and it had been ticketed In the space of 10mins. Future guests be very aware of this as they are very keen.

The property matches the photos exactly, and is in a fantastic location. We stayed here for 4 nights and had a lovely time. Pros- Location: Fantastic views of the Abbey and walking distance from Whitby train station. You couldn’t be more central. Large living area 2 bathrooms Information guide provided with information on the property and surrounding area. Clear instructions provided by hosts. Cons- Parking: while a permit was provided, we were unable to find an available W zone parking space and eventually parked a 10 minute walk away. This however, is a problem with Whitby itself and not the hosts. Cleanliness: overall the property was clean, however there was an odd smell on arrival and some hairs were found under the duvets. Only one toilet roll provided and no hand soap. At no fault of the host, the property does receive a lot of noise from the streets/pubs below and seagulls, however this is noted on the listing and we still had a great experience.

We loved staying in the cosy coastal apartment. The place was so welcoming and very clean. It had all the things we needed in the kitchen and the living room area was such a nice place to just relax. The bedrooms were lovely and clean and the bed was so comfy. The bathrooms spotless also. The location of the apartment was perfect- right in the centre of Whitby. Gorgeous little flat, with an amazing view over the harbour. Well equipped, clean and comfortable. Great location right in the middle of Whitby. Able to walk to everything with a great information book in the house. Definitely worth noting that it’s on the 3rd floor with very narrow stairs if carting all the stuff that comes with a toddler with you! But this is very clear in the listing.

The apartment is in a lovely location with nice views of the swivel bridge. It is on the top floor and would be difficult with small children and adults that aren’t as mobile as they used to be, if taking a dog you have to be mindful of how many stairs you have to keep climbing and no grass within close proximity.

Some amenities not functioning, like electrical tower railings or extraction fun in kitchen, but we didn’t really need them for this stay, already gave the list to host so hopefully they’ll be fixed for future guests, but overall a fantastic experience.

Super flat in the heart of Whitby. Lovely fresh decor, clever use of space. Comfy and stylish furniture with everything you could need. Remember you really are in the midst of things so there will be pub noises in the evening, and of course seagulls all the time! Didn’t bother us but light sleeping children may struggle. Wifi patchy - that’s literally the only flaw we found! Really enjoyed our stay, great place to base yourselves. Look out for the Whitby deli up the road - preorder delicious meals to heat at home or lunch boxes to take out!

If you fancy a trip to Whitby you should really consider this accommodation. You couldn’t get more central. The flat itself is so comfortable, clean and has everything you need. Beds were great, showers brilliant and the kitchen also has everything you need. I really couldn’t fault anything. Great communication from the hosts and the instructions and manuals are helpful. Really loved our stay. Thanks.

Friendly and prompt communication. Property was even nicer than expected, hosts really have thought about a lot and made the experience welcoming and relaxing. Coffee/tea/sugar/milk a lovely touch. Guide of the property and what's nearby really helpful. As with anywhere in Whitby we've stayed before, the seagulls act as your alarm clock, but you get used to it. No doubt we'll be visiting again.

I have taken two stars off. en-suite shower not finished by builders Bedrooms very light as blinds not blackout so that combined with Seagulls making a racket at 6am mean you are up early!! Bedrooms are in the loft space so right next to the birds
