I had such a lovely stay here, I’m working at lympne castle for the next few months and this location is so ideal. The bed was extremely comfortable with lovely windows, the location was peaceful and quiet. The host sent over loads of information about the local area. WiFi worked great. The kitchen had everything you needed. Coffee pods, milk, ice cream and the eggs were such a lovely touch. I have no bad things to say about this place and will be sure to be staying here regularly over the next few weeks/months

A beautifully presented barn in a private setting (along with two other barns) It was spotless and had everything we needed. Peaceful location and perfect for a short (or long) break. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was perfectly situated for a visit to Port Lympne Safari Park.

A fantastic, peaceful stay at Cobnut Barn! Very relaxing, hosts had thought of everything, kitchen and bathroom both fabulous, comfy bed and sofa! Highly recommend and would definitely return. Great location both for Port Lympne and Ashford. Thank you so much for a special stay.

We had a lovely stay at this little cabin. Super clean, comfy and relaxing with everything you could need for a getaway. The hosts were extremely helpful and communicative, would 100% recommend.

Lovely stay, would 100% recommend to any couple wanting a place to stay for a couple nights and travel to Port Lympne Wildlife & Safari. The place has absolutely everything you need, was unbelievably clean and the location is spot on. The bathroom smelt amazing!!

Great property, like a large pod. There are only 3 of them so very quiet and peaceful. The studio has modern fittings, well laid out. Only minor niggle is phone reception is hit and miss.

Had a lovely stay at cobnut barn. Was easy to find and get in despite arriving quite late in the night. You’ll find all that you’ll need during your stay as it is all provided. We enjoyed our stay and ended up extending our visit to which our host was very accommodating and responsive despite our lateness in requesting for an extension. The ice cream left was a lovely touch and was indeed very tasty! A very good base if you want to explore surrounding areas or like us just want to get away from the bustle for a few days!

Hosts were easy to reach and quick to respond. The place was cosy and spotless. Ideal for a couple of nights away - especially for shopping and Port Lympne zoo! They went above and beyond even providing us with some freshly made honey and their own ice cream.

Had a lovely 3 nights at Cobnut Barn. Apartment compact but had everything we needed. Lovely comfortable bed. Ice Cream was a lovely surprise. New the area well having lived there for 60 years only having moved away 4 years ago. Would recommend Cobnut Barn. Good instructions and easy check-in.

I had the most wonderful birthday weekend at Cobnut Barn! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax and celebrate. One of the sweetest touches was the little ice creams they provided – such a delightful surprise that made the stay even more special. I would highly recommend Cobnut Barn to anyone looking for a cozy and charming getaway!

Definitely recommended! Atmospheric and comfortably furnished, small but compact. Thoughtful touches like milk, eggs and homemade ice cream when we arrived. The area was very nice for walking.

Would 100% recommend. Peaceful and cozy lodge with all the amenities and a great bathroom. Lots of nice pubs nearby and perfect if you were staying for the local safari.

The accommodation was in a good location, in the lovely village of Aldington. Nice pub nearby called the walnut tree and also a farm which has a self serve deli machine open 24/7, Accommodation itself was also clean, as described and good value for money. Would definitely stay again.

The generous hospitality of the hosts made The Nook Retreat very welcoming. It was excellent accommodation, very modern and very clean. Only small, but well designed and it met every need. In a beautiful setting we were entirely happy with our choice. We would recommend this accommodation without hesitation. “Simply Ice-cream”, a product of the hosts business, is amazing too.
