Hutton le hole is a gorgeous moorland village with stream, sheep roaming, museum, pub and cafes. The cottage is on the green and central so close to all of these things. The cottage has been nicely done out - particularly upstairs - the bedrooms are nice and the bathroom has a great walk in shower. The space is small and I would say not really small child friendly. For families with young children there is no cot or high chair. I also think more could be made of the interior - decorations are generic - there’s no local touches which is a shame as it could feel so much more connected to the local area it is in. We enjoyed our time but perhaps more due to the village rather than the cottage.

Had an amazing holiday staying at Hutton Le Hole. Great location , beautiful surroundings and so peaceful. The Rydale Folk Museum next door was amazing well worth a visit. The local bike shop was very helpful and informative. People were very friendly especially The Crown and all the cafes. Great for cycling/walking base. The house had excellent facilities.

Fantastic location and easy to find property. It was spotless inside which made our stay very relaxing. One recommendation is the communication from Host & Stay is probably a little too excessive for a two night stay. Just a simple check in and check out email would be fine. Other than that a really good property to stay in which fully met our needs.
