Excellent quiet location, property was immaculate and clean when we arrived. Open plan living area is huge and has a well equipped kitchen with everything you need. Both bathrooms are in excellent condition with walk in showers in both. Large sofa that can easily seat 4 in comfort and outside seating a tree e is private and a sun trap

One of the best Airbnbs we've stayed in. Comfortable, clean, bright, spacious. Good parking, lovely little pub close by. Beautiful surroundings, very peaceful. The house had everything we needed, the heating was very affective, the beds were comfortable. We will definitely be booking again!

Our second stay in Blayshaw cottage. Great space with all the amenities you could possibly need. Helpful touches include things like dishwasher tablets and tea and coffee. The dogs were very pleased with their biscuits too! Beautiful surroundings with lovely walks, pub on the doorstep and friendly locals. We hope to be back very soon.

Lovely house very spacious modern and clean inside, the only downside which wasn't a big problem wad there was dog dirt in the outside space but as the weather was bad we didn't use this.

Lovely accomodation which was very clean and modern. We liked the open plan living, both bathrooms were lovely. we liked the location and just 2 minutes walk to the village pub which we loved and it served great food. we highly recommend this place.

We have just returned from a two night stay, we loved the accommodation, the photos are a true representation of the place. My son loved the football table and I loved the bath tub! Very spacious, comfy beds and well equipped. We wish we’d stayed longer. The views are spectacular and you feel a million miles away from the business of every day life. It is a little drive to the next shop so make sure you’re stocked up when you arrive.

We had a brilliant weekend here, the village is in a lovely spot. Very peaceful with great views. The house itself is finished to a really high standard and is very well equipped. The bedrooms are are large and the beds very comfortable. Charlie was very responsive with any queries that we had. The local pub is great, very friendly and a minute’s walk from the house with proper pub food and an excellent beer choice.

Stayed here for my mams 60th birthday and it was wonderful!! Super comfy beds and lovely rooms with baths in both bathrooms. Kitchen downstairs all open plan to the living room which was just perfect and so spacious. Easy to find just look for the small car park on your right and you have the house on the left if you find the gravel track youve gone too far but if you know this it’s easy to find :) Beautiful views and a lovely house.

Was over the moon with our stay, everything matched the description online, plenty of room for the 4 adults, 3 dogs, we weren’t in each others pockets, all had our own space, very comfortable.. will be booking again !

What an absolute gem of a property. Peaceful, comfortable and beautiful scenery. Easy to access Ripon and Harrogate for days out. Fantastic dog walking places. OMG such comfortable beds, the pillows were like sleeping on clouds, awaiting details from Charlie of where I can order some for home. Highly recommend Blayshaw House. Can't wait to come back. ❤️

Home after a wonderful stay at Blayshaw House. The location is absolutely beautiful and very peaceful, with super views in very direction and the bonus of having with lots to do and see within the surrounding area. The house itself was fabulous with everything you needed, plus super comfortable beds and very clean bathrooms. The garden is safe and secure for dogs, which is a bonus. We had an amazing time and hope to visit again very soon. Many Thanks.

loved this property, spacious and in a wonderful spot. We have stayed in this area before and this was the nicest, it had everything we needed. Very comfy beds and a super kitchen. Just a couple of things, a previous review mentioned check in and out times and I must admit I agree. 4 0 clock check in seems a little late and 10 am check out a little early. The outdoor space could do with a little face-lift as its in such a beautiful spot and it's a shame this area is not more inviting. Having said those little niggles it wouldn't put me off staying again as its a lovely property!

Beautiful home, modern and spacious. Middlesmoor is one of the highest settlements in Yorkshire, at almost 1000ft above sea level. Cottage is located at the end of a lane, it soon turns into a gravel track across the moorland. In the opposite direction, a short walk downhill is the pub. We walked from the cottage along the track to the reservoir (about 5 miles in total). Walked to Stean along the river, stopped at the cafe at the Activity Centre for ice cream. here you can do activities like gorge walking, SUP. think it's called How Stean Activity. further out we went to Linton Falls and the stepping stones at Grassington. horse riding at Kilnsey. Malham Cove and Gordale Scar. 7 miles to the nearest main road at Pateley Bridge but it's a reasonable road, not single track but is a tight squeeze in places. If you want peace and tranquility away from life, this is it. Charlie was very prompt in getting the tap fixed fixed. Super host. Genuinely sad to leave.

Everything was finished to a high standard, with plenty of space. The furniture and bedding was high quality which made it feel worth the money. It's a bit of a drive to get anywhere from Middlesmoor, but of course you would know that if you are looking to stay there.

This place was honestly a little gem, it sits in a beautiful little village in the middle of nowhere with stunning surroundings. The property itself was finished to a high standard with all mod cons and everything you require for a homely stay. The sofa was lovely and comfortable as were the beds. There is a fully enclosed back garden area for the dogs, (just as a warning for anyone with reactive dogs you do get some footfall past the cottage) there is a dog friendly pub in the village that serves food and the staff were lovely. As for the village itself apart from a pub and a church there isn't anything else nearby so ensure you stop at a shop and pick up any essentials for your stay as it is quite a way to the closest shop. This doesn't take anything away from the property though as it is in a beautifully stunning rural location.

hosts from beginning to end were excellent to communicate with. the property was as good as the photos were on the site. bedding and towels were all nice and clean. the beds are very comfortable. the property as a whole is excellent. the village has a very nice friendly pub. the village is very remote one road in and out up a very steep bank. Nice walk around scarhouse reservoir few miles away.

Really enjoyed our stay, nice large open plan area downstairs with spacious bedrooms upstairs, clean and tidy with everything you need. Only issues were directions, the check in messages and guide give an “exact location”, so we followed that instruction and it actually takes you way past the house and on to a narrow gravel track for about a mile too long with no point to turn around. Also feel like the combination of a late 4pm check in and an early 10am check out makes it less value for money. Those bits aside, the place was great, nice secluded location with a quiet pub just round the corner and easy access to local walks. Would recommend for a quiet few days away.

Blayshaw House is an excellent place to stay - all amenities are 5 star including the most comfortable beds ever and pristine bathrooms- this place is a real gem- in beautiful village location- I would highly recommend- I certainly would love to stay there again- many thanks-Richard

Perfect location to relax and rejuvenate. An abundance of walks in the beautiful peaceful countryside. Property was fabulous with all amenities and good Wi-Fi. Table football, games and puzzle book an added bonus. Amazing views in every direction and everyone friendly. We’ve had an amazing time and hope to visit again soon, thank you

Lovely cottage in a very scenic area. The cottage was very clean and spacious and had all cooking appliances in the cottage. The cottage also had lots of board games and jigsaws in the cupboard which made us feel at home as we were able to wind down after going on walks and play one the board games which was in the cupboard of the cottage. The cottage was in a beautiful location and the neighbours were really talkative and had a lot of pride when talking about Middlesmoor. The cottage does have wifi, before we arrived we had a lot of worries when it said no wifi on the listing of the cottage however when we arrived we saw on the wall that WiFi was available. The only issue we had when staying at the cottage was the back garden light was flicking so we were unable to turn it on at night so it didn’t disturb the neighbours but apart from that everything else was perfect. We would definitely come again and stay in the cottage.
