We had a great stay here. The apartment is modern and spacious, and the sea view from the balcony was fantastic. The heating and hot water worked perfectly and kept the place comfortable throughout our stay in January. The kitchen is well-equipped, and we really appreciated the wine and chocolates on arrival. Just a small note that guests should bring their own toiletries. Would definitely recommend!

A very comfortable apartment. At a very cold time of the year it was warm and welcoming. It’s near the promenade with a nice view of the sea and is a short walk from town (15 minutes to the town centre). It has a parking space to the rear of the block that was very convenient. The apartment has an excellent kitchen, nice bathrooms with plenty of hot water and comfy beds. Good communication with “Host and Stay”.

We booked a last minute winter get away, the flat was lovely, had everything we needed to make our stay homely, even the added Christmas tree, instructions and detailed guide book very helpful. Would love to stay again.

we were pleased that it was everything that was promised. The location was perfect, with a pleasant walk to the centre. Parking was easy and felt a safe location. We would definately use again on a return to this lovely town.

We had a fantastic few days stay at Beach Pad Whitby. Could not have asked for a better apartment. Very close to attractions and great eateries. Extremely clean and had everything we wanted.

We had a fantastic time staying in this apartment. The location is great; sea view and moments from the beach, as well as being only 10 minutes walk into town. But it’s pretty quiet too, as it’s not right in the middle of town. The apartment was spacious and well appointed.

Our apartment was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Felt very much at home. A lovely view of the sea and a 10 mins walk to our favourite cafe Clara's and the Whalebones where the view is amazing. Another 10 min walk and your into the town. The lift and carpark was a bonus. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend The Beach Pad.

The space was well thought out, as you come in open plan kitchen, living, dining room to the right, bedrooms to the left and in the middle was the bathroom, all a good size, took my parents who have mobility issues and the lift being right outside the front door was awesome. The wine and chocolate were well received and the parking at the back, even though was a little tight for the car we had was great to have. The windows opening up and having a little balcony was lovely, everything was clean and tidy, would recommend this place.

Fantastic apartment that we would definitely visit again. The living space and kitchen were fabulous. The bifold doors allowed lots of air and an outdoors indoors feel. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and we very much appreciated the bottle of wine and chocolates. The mattress was very comfortable on the double bed and the room was lovely and airy. The bathrooms were both all you would want. Parking was literally just outside so we didn’t have to walk very far with our luggage. We had a brilliant stay and hope to visit again.

Our stay started off really well. Booked for 3 nights. Woke up on day 2, there was no hot water or central heating. The boiler had stopped working. Unfortunate that the phone number we had been given was not responding. E-mailed, and got a response to say plumber would be out that day. Plumber arrived as we were going out, but unfortunately he could not fix it. He contacted the owner and told us someone would call us. We waited, and waited no response from Host & Stay, we phoned 4 times before getting hold of someone. The owner contacted us as she could not get hold of them either. She moved us to another one of her properties, she was lovely, apologetic etc, etc. she was brilliant, just unfortunate that it used up our whole morning, which impacted on our short visit. Host and Stay did eventually get back to us, but very slow to respond.

Just returned from a fabulous Friday to Sunday weekend break with friends. The accommodation was lovely, clean and very spacious for the 4 of us. Location is good. We would highly recommend and we will return again.

We had a two night stay and found the flat spotless, well equipped and comfortable. The only negative was the heating system- we couldn’t find the instructions as stated but managed to get the heating on, however, it was February and freezing, the main room had two radiators that got up to temperature but the room was still cold and therefore uncomfortable to use. The hall and bedrooms were too hot! As an observation the main bathroom would benefit from a shower facility, and main room a nest of tables for drinks glasses. Overall, despite the heating, the stay was very enjoyable, the flat was very clean with all mod cons and the beds were very comfortable.

I had a great stay at the Beach Pad. The location was perfect (right on the beach and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions). The parking space was very useful especially as parking in the area gets busy during peak times. The apartment was clean, modern and had everything we needed. The only small niggle was the complimentary tea and coffee was empty when we arrived - although we loved the chocolate and wine on arrival! Would stay again.

The accommodation is in an ideal spot only 10 mins walk from the the harbour and has parking at the rear which is nicely hidden from view. The apartment was spotless and comfortable and I would happily stay there again.

Accommodation in a very good location. Short walk into the town centre either via the Whale Bones and Kyber Pass or Skinner Street. Off street parking in a shared car park with other residents. Apartment building has a lift. Nice large open plan living area. Kitchen well equipped including dishwasher and washing machine. The only shower is in the ensuite room. Not a big issue, but a minor inconvenience. I used to live in Whitby and my family still do. I would choose this apartment to stay in again.

Me and my dad stayed in this apartment from the 13th May to the 16th May, and it was lovely! Such a nice view from the balcony and it looked exactly like the pictures! The whole place was absolutely spotless and it smelt very clean too! There was a dirty towel left on the back of the door of the single room but that is such a easy mistake to make but apart from that it was perfect! The communication was great, I felt right at ease and I felt like all my questions was answered. The beds was so comfy, the sofas was comfy too, it felt like I was at home! Everything you needed was in this apartment, from coffee to cutlery, the only thing we needed to buy was of course food which is standard! I would definitely stay at this apartment again or with Host and Stay again, for what you get it’s definitely value for money, having a sea view for the price is perfect! My dad is blind and he felt so at ease and comfortable in this place which is rare! He could be independent! Thank you!

We had a brilliant time in Whitby this weekend! The location of the apartment is great for walking into the town and exploring, lots of access to local amenities which was just what we needed. The apartment was spacious and well equipped, would recommend.
