Loved our stay with our 2 dogs. Perfect arrangement and set up. Having the parking was a massive bonus with all of the things we had to take with us for the dogs too.

Rented this property for 3 nights. The cottage was as lovely as the pictures on the website. The property is ideally located to walk into the town centre and having the 2 parking spaces is a definite advantage. All bedrooms are spacious and the kitchen well equipped. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our short stay at Arundel Cottage. Unfortunately the weather spoilt our stay as we were unable to go out and about and explore further a field however the cottage is in walking distance of the centre however this would be risky in the current condition. The cottage was warm & cosy and nicely furnished however could do with nicer sofas, they are a bit tired. Be prepared to take your own soaps/handwash/shampoo etc, this needs to be noted in the description. Also if it’s snowing you are likely to experience problems accessing the little road unless salt is provided. Thankfully snow is a rare event however owners need to be prepared for worst case and supply all that is necessary because if there was an accident/slip then guests could make a valid claim. We managed with kettle water and a spade to dig and clear the route of snow. Now safely home. Host and Stay are great property manager they are quick to respond to messages.

Beautiful house in an ideal location, close to the centre of Whitby, private parking for 2 cars. Inside was modern and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The host’s are brilliant and respond straight away, extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely stop here again.

A lovely cottage in a fabulous location - with the bonus of 2 parking spaces! Exactly as described. Cosy and compfy. Slept well in lovely bedrooms with great bathrooms and kitchen and dining and chill out space. Would definitely return. Host was exceptionally helpful and responsive and we paid for later checkout which was so helpful - thank you.

The perfect place to stay for exploring Whitby. It was within walking distance of all the main places to visit and lovely and quiet on an evening. The cottage itself was beautiful, clean and tidy with everything you need for staying over. Cant fault it. Thank you for a lovely stay, we would definitely return.

Family of 5 meet up and this was the perfect place to stay, relax and catch up. 3 separate bedrooms, and 2 parking spots, it was the ideal place and met all our needs. The house is cosy, clean and welcoming, we felt right at home. And the host was responsive and gave us all the information we needed to make our stay complete. Location of property is wonderful, quiet on a night, easy to access and walkable to/from all Whitby has to offer. We simply loved this place. Thank you!

This house was perfect for us, a family of 4 with 2 dogs! Perfect outside parking for 2 cars which was very hard to find in Whitby. It was 5 min walk into the town centre which was great. The house was clean, was exactly what we needed. Would definitely recommend to others! We will be back again!

This cottage is beautiful, but we had to leave early as the kitchen was unusable. We had taken all our food to cook in this gorgeous kitchen yet it was soo dirty. Host & Stay didn't deal with this problem so we left early. Went straight through Airbnb and they sorted our problem straight away. You can't check in until 4pm due to cleaners coming in, that kitchen hadn't been cleaned in a while. Never want to have to deal with Host&Stay again.

We had a wonderful stay – the house was lovely, spacious, and in the perfect location. The only downside was the late check-in and very early check-out. If a 4pm check-in is required, a 12pm check-out would feel much fairer. It also would have been helpful to have oven gloves available, as these would have been useful. That said, overall it was a really enjoyable few days, and we would happily come again. Thank you!

We had a lovely two night stay. The house felt very homely and comfortable. Excellent location with only a short walk into the town centre and parking was a bonus. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of storage space for clothes etc. location felt very safe but you do get a lot of noise from the outside traffic, however this did not bother us. We would stay again.

Lovely property, perfect for our family and our Whitby exploring. 5 mins walk into the town and just slightly more to the Wishbones. one thing to note is the window in the top bedroom shuts but doesnt lock. So the noise from passing cars/birds was disturbing sleep. Very easy fix. The property was gorgeous and had everything we needed.

Great property. Everything provided for a great stay. All Whitby’s attractions at walking distance and bus stop at end of road for those exploring further afield without a car. The two carpark spaces were great and a rare thing in Whitby. The only comment would be for those booking the property to be aware the twin room on the 2nd floor is without a door, so depending on who is using the room, lacks a bit of privacy and sound control!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The decor was charming, the lounge was cosy and inviting, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was a lovely home away from home. The only small suggestions for improvement would be to consider adding fans, especially for the attic room, which got quite warm due to limited window opening. Aside from that, everything was perfect. The location was ideal for exploring Whitby, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

We had a great time at Arundel Cottage. Location is perfect and having two parking spaces is ideal. The house was lovely inside and very clean and nice decor - it’s cozy for 6 adults but with warm weather we used the outside space too. The thing that let it down was the outside space not being clear of rubbish and leaves from the winter and dirty tables. Both back and front need a good clear and wipe and bushes tidying up. Also the listing said coffee machine and coffee, oils and salt/pepper were included and none of these were. Also no washing up liquid, brush and only 2 dishwasher tablets for a 3 nights start for 6 adults and one tea towel. We were told this was a ‘starter pack’ so should buy our own - which should be on the listing so it’s clear it’s not provided for the whole stay. The top floor gets very hot and no fan and there weren’t enough wine glasses for 6 people. It’s an excellent place to stay, just needs better clarity on what is/isn’t provided. They communicated well

A comfortable and clean cottage in a good location to explore Whitby and the surrounding area. Enough space for 5 of us to enjoy eating and spending time together at the cottage and the beds were comfy, too. Great to have off-road private parking. The host was very responsive. A brilliant stay in a beautiful, clean house with excellent facilities which included fresh towels and tea and coffee. Plus, only a 10 minute walk from the centre of Whitby - would definitely recommmend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Arundel Cottage. Very well presented, just as the photos depicted. Very clean, with well equipped kitchen, and bathrooms. The bedrooms were very comfortable. Very peaceful surroundings, and easy walk into the centre and harbour. Perfect for couples or a family. Would highly recommend.

We stayed as a family of 5 with 2 dogs and it was perfect for us. Plenty of space, really clean, plenty of plates, glasses etc and great having a separate dining room and 2 bathrooms. Everywhere was spotless and great extras with the toiletries and towels etc. Clear check in instructions, parking was a massive bonus. Whitby town centre only 10 mins walk, the location was great. Definitely recommend!

Lovely immaculate house. Very welcoming and comfortable. Kitchen well kitted out. Lovely separate dining room. All in all a really nice place to stay. Chose this house because of parking spaces which is a great bonus as it’s pretty impossible to park in Whitby centre especially in the peak season. Also a reasonable walk into town- a bit uphill coming back but not really steep. The walk back from town was a bit rowdy at nighttime and noisy late at night on the Saturday outside the house. But it was the first sunny day of the year and I think people were letting off steam!

Very convenient location and parking facilities a bonus. The photos were representative of the condition of the house and the house was very clean. The cottage felt like a home rather than sparse worn down holiday let. Will definitely stay there again. Only downside was the rubbish on the street, but not connected with this property.

We had a wonderful stay at Arundel Place. The house is extremely well equipped, very well maintained and was spotless. The beds were very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. The kitchen has everything you could need to prepare all types of meals and the dining room is the perfect space for enjoying meals and games with the family. Shower room and toilets were perfect too! The house is a short walk into Whitby town centre where there are plenty of shops and attractions to keep you busy. Being able to more at the property was a real bonus. We really enjoyed staying at Arundel Place, it’s a gem of a place and we’d definitely visit again. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable.

Seamless check in and photos don’t do this place justice Ample space for us 4 with dog 2 nights then 6 of us for 1 night when kids came for a night. Celebrated a 60th and was lovely location close to town but far enough away for a peaceful retreat, great dog routes near by. 3 brilliant nights overall will be back for sure and highly recommend. We had a wonderful stay at this property in Whitby. It was in a perfect location for exploring the town and having 2 private parking spaces was great as it meant we could bring the car to explore other nearby places. The house was well equipped and felt very clean and well kept. All of the furniture and carpets etc seemed of high quality and made the house feel very cosy and relaxing. Thank you.

Lovely little spot for the weekend. The cottage was very well presented and not too far from the harbour. Being so close to the Cinder Track is also a huge benefit for anyone that likes to walk, run or cycle. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
