Excellent apartment in a peaceful area. Despite being a few floors above a pub, could hear no noise at all. Clean, easy to find and has all the equipment you need. Parking was a big issue as it is a public street and always packed with cars and even nearby streets. Note that this is two sets of stairs high, so travel light or prepare for multiple trips up and down the stairs. Wi-Fi was reliable. Couch and bed were comfy. Kitchen facilities basic but servicable.

the big bed is beyond comfortable, same with the couch. annoyingly so because I kept falling asleep when I had things to do 😂, tv is huge, sound is lovely same with the details, plenty of space all together. kitchen is spacious and the hobs are neat, same with the extractor fan. the only negative things I found was that no matter what I used the wifi wouldn't show up, not that I couldnt connect but that it wouldn't show up in the wifi section, and if the owners of Appartment C can see this PLEASE GET A NEW KEYSAFE. its a good little box and works EVENTUALLY but me and my partner spent 45 minutes in the snow pressing the "CLEAR" spring for it to refuse to work, the keys refuse to press and sometimes get stuck sticking out and sticking in, the communication was amazing and I understand its not the providers fault, but please for the love of God get a new keysafe, pressing rock solid keys in -1°c temp is beyond awful, i would love to come back some day but hopefully that's fixed.

We had a lovely 2 night winter break as a family of 4. The flat is lovely, cosy and warm - which was nice to come back to after snowy beach walks. Really glad they provided little extras such as tea/coffee/milk as I was fretting on the way that I’d forgotten to pack some. The location is great - close walk to the beach, which is what we wanted. Saltburn is a great seaside town with lots to do. There was some music playing in the pub next door but it was a Saturday night and it was all done before 11pm so no grumbles. Would highly recommend and visit again. I feel so relaxed before we go back to the school run and work this week, which is exactly what we needed. Thank you Host & Stay!

The appartment was very nice and comfortable, just like the photos, it was also lovely and warm really nice to come back to after a walk by the sea. Charlie was very responsive, replying very promptly to questions. We had an issue with the WiFi, Charlie wasn't able to solve it but 10 out of 10 for effort and it didn't adversely impact on our stay.

All the basics included. This property is managed by a business - they were slow and unresponsive when the shower broke, and I had to repeatedly chase them in order for them to fix it, which was a shame and not ideal on holiday. Good location, all the basics included, a fine base if you’re going to be out most of the day. Good kitchen facilities. Could have been cleaner when I arrived! Dirty entrance way, toilet not quite clean enough, stain on a bedsheet (but not a bed we needed to use fortunately). Overall fine, wouldn’t stay again. Although saltburn is delightful!

Lovely split level flat in an amazing location - five mins walk down the hill and you're on the beach. Also very handy for the train station, and all the local shops, cafes and restaurants. Very slight downside was the wi-fi being very poor, but not a big problem when you're on holiday. The cleaning fee felt steep considering the reasonable nightly price. We're looking forward to staying here again.

We stayed here for accommodation for a wedding we attended nearby. It’s a walk from the centre with plenty of shops and cafes nearby with the seafront a stones throw away. The apartment its self is lovely, very clean and very well presented. It’s very cosy and spacious. It’s also very competitively priced with hotel rooms for only a few quid cheaper. If your looking for a suitable place to stay, especially if there’s a couple and 2 singles, this is ideal. The instructions were very clear to follow from weeks before our booking right up until check out.

We enjoyed a lovely break in Saltburn-on-the-sea. The apartment had everything we needed, was lovely and peaceful and felt like a home from home and was a great base to explore the amazing Yorkshire coastline. Parking wasn’t a problem and we managed to park on their road each day. Saltburn has some lovely little shops and restaurants in walking distance as well as the sea front. A couple of additions in the kitchen and improvements to the WIFI would make this place perfect. We would happily stay here again (especially in the summer)!

this was my first time booking though Air B&B and this place and host made it a perfect one. the flat was beautiful decorated, spotless and provides everything you need for your stay. literally 1 minute walk to the perfectly idilic seafront, restaurants and bars. we tried the tomahawkstaeakhpuse which was also fab. I would definitely stay here again no question about it. thank you 😊

A good location ideal for exploring Saltburn and surrounding coastal walks. Ideal for what we needed. A nicely decorated apartment with everything you need. However if you are in need of internet or would like to watch something on the TV/ laptop it's pretty much impossible, the wifi was very poor quality. Overall a good stay.

I was a bit concerned when we arrived (with a child) to find the apartment was above a pub, but fortunately as we were in the top floor and staying mid week there wasn’t any noise. The apartment was clean but there were stains on the carpet and a lot of wear & tear on the kitchen table & chairs which let it down. The WiFi was non existent! Which was a huge problem as we couldn’t get a signal to watch TV most of the time we stayed, so streaming films or TV was virtually impossible, even hotspotting to our phones was stop/start. I understand you can’t impact the mobile signal but the WiFi definitely needs improvement. If I’d been staying there with the intention of working I’d have been livid! We reported an issue with one of the single beds collapsing when my 4yo son sat on it & didn’t get a response until a day after getting home! So the host company need to work on their response times. Location was very close to beach & we had a fabulous meal in the Seaview restaurant.

Apartment is in the centre of everything and is beautifully decorated. Comfortable and well equipped. We would stay there again . We struggled with the key safe outside the building- so we struggled to get in and were unable to leave keys back in it as instructed - but Host and Stay were at the end of the phone to help. Otherwise excellent.

Really lovely apartment in an excellent location. We had such a lovely weekend in Saltburn, and the apartment was a great base. I’d read plenty of reviews that fore-warned us about the number of stairs, so we were prepared. The benefits of being up high were the place was quiet and untouched by any potential noise from the street below. We were steps from the town centre and the beach and really enjoyed exploring both. Beds were comfy, we managed to cook a nice meal- although could’ve benefitted from a few extra kitchen bits- and the living area was great to relax in. Would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely trip on a north east tour and having been to Filey for a few days this was the next stop for 2 nights with a trip to Flamingo land for the kids on one day. The views are stunning but the apartment was lovely, very clean and had everything we could have needed, might have been pure luck but parking was really easy too (despite bringing my pickup truck which is really long)! Highly recommended if you've got stuff nearby you want to do, it's perfect.

A beautiful apartment, comfortable, clean and quiet. It would be useful it had some coasters for putting cups and glasses on as we didn't like putting them on the nice furniture so just used magazines and leaflets instead. I have been visiting Saltburn for years but this was the first time that we have actually booked somewhere to stay and my daughter and myself were extremely happy with this apartment.

The property was a short distance from Saltburn and close to shops, Sainsbury's and restaurants.... a really good cafe near the train station. The beds were comfy and the shower was good. No restrictions on parking outside the property

We enjoyed our stay at Cleveland Street in Saltburn by the Sea - the flat is on the top floor so only good for people who can climb three flights of stairs... There are a few things that would help for other visitors going forward... 1. The shower wasn't very clean ... it would also benefit from having somewhere to put the soap & 'squeegee blade' for after showers to help stop the mildew forming. 2. No cleaning products or toilet cleaner in the bathroom were provided 3. In the kitchen, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and one tea-towel provided -no dish clothes, dish washing brush or other cleaning products were provided 4. No table mats provided. 5. The entrance hall has a lovely carpet but we noticed it was a bit stained on our arrival because there isn't a mat to wipe feet or anywhere to put dirty shoes/boots etc or to hang up wet coats. I hope this feedback will be helpful. This is a great location and we enjoyed visiting our son and granddaughter

Lovely weekend away with children and mother-in-law. Central location with easy access to the sea front and a really delicious cafe round the corner (Virgos) Clean and comfy beds, bathroom lovely and clean and kitchen well equipped and clean. We did have an 18m old with us and a stair gate would have been very useful for the top but this wasn't a huge issue and we knew there was stairs before booking. Enjoyable stay and would certainly return.

Very slow to return calls when we had a problem. Flat said 2 x king beds but it was 1 king and two singles. They didn’t sort it, offer any alternatives or a partial refund. Dissapointing.

When I arrived to the property the key in the safe had been returned snapped and did not work, I was left alone in the cold at almost midnight waiting for someone to take my call. I couldn't book into a hotel nearby as it was too late. When I finally reached someone on the phone they told me they didn't know how long I'd be waiting, could not call me back and did not know if the emergency contact was working - I was left waiting in the cold, alone, with no apology from the company. On top of that you will incur unexpected fees with this booking - having to pay £25 extra as a non refundable security deposit to get the code to the key safe. I reached out to Host & Stay to ask to discuss before I posted a bad review but received no response through AirBnb or email. Nice property but if anything goes wrong with your stay don't expect them to put it right.

The flat is furnished tastefully and is very comfortable. The whole place was very clean. Although, I would say the accommodation is family friendly please note there are 3 flights of stairs to the flat and also another set of internal stairs which I wouldn't feel safe for small children. The location is superb for access to the town and beach. No problems finding on street parking directly outside the place.

Saltburn-by-the-sea was such a lovely town to visit with local shops & cafes & of course the beach! It’s hard not to be central in SbtS given how small it is…but we really were walking distance to everything we needed, including the train station. We loved having the loft for living space in the apartment and felt right at home. Bonus points: very easy to park on the roads. All round fab stay!

Fabulous spacious immaculate apartment in a fantastic area. Great communication from Stay. Lots of stairs to climb to the top floor for those with young children or the less mobile. We found it perfect for us and our two teens. There was everything we needed in the kitchen and the ability to watch Netflix in the lounge although the WiFi wasn’t great. There are some superb places to eat right on the doorstep and beautiful beaches up and down the coast. There is also a Sainsbury’s a few minutes walk away. We would definitely book to go back.

Our Christmas stay at this flat was great! Nice, clean, modern, spacious and got everything we need. However the internet speed needed improving because we needed to work in the flat. We ended up using personal hotspot for work. Other than that, all great. Recommended!

We have a fabulous stay and would return indefinitely. Absolutely loved the space and really stylish decoration. We had all the amenities we needed; a hairdryer would have been nice however. Great communication from the host and they were eager to help with anything. The location is great and very central. Parking was easy. I wouldn’t recommend for people with physical difficulties due to the stairs, but it suited our needs perfectly. I really hope to visit again, thank you.

Lovely very clean apartment very convenient for shopping, restaurants, pubs, bus, train, etc. Great design and layout particularly the upstairs big lounge, dining area & kitchen. Very well and stylishly furnished and kitted out. On street parking was no problem. Only constraint would flag up is that it is an old building with high ceilings so the stairs up to 2nd floor and then internal stairs to the living area on the 3rd floor could be a challenge for anyone with mobility problems. Did great walk 'Saltburn Circular' which goes up the steps behind the Ship Inn and along the clifftop eventually curling back around to Saltburn (search internet can find walk details). Then another day walked the opposite direction from end of clifftop to Marske then on to Redcar getting the bus back to Saltburn, another set of stunning views and Redcar was surprisingly pleasant. Can recommend 'Stray Cafe' at the start of the prom for a well earned cup of tea or other walking treat. Also had good days out to Staithes and Whitby, excellent base location as well as great days in Saltburn. Can strongly recommend this apartment and it's definitely on our re-visit list.
