Seamless booking, check-in and arrival, although we could have done without the email bombardment trying to pay for more services. Great detail and pack provided. Fantastic location and very comfortable home. However, awoke on morning one to find no hot water and a boiler fault. No instruction booklet so contacted the letting agency. I was asked to complete a task for which I am not qualified and I requested a heating engineer attendance. We advised the operative of the imperative to have this completed quickly to allow us to attend a family funeral but after 90 minutes of no comms or engineer, we were forced to pack and seek showers elsewhere. The hot water issue was fixed on our return c6 hours later but with no comms or updates. Poorly handled. Not ideal on a particularly stressful day.

We had a fantastic stay with friends. The house was spotless, warm and really comfortable, with everything we needed — from kitchen utensils, glasses, games and essentials. The location couldn’t be better, right opposite the sea, and only a few minutes’ drive into Tynemouth for shops, restaurants and cafés. A perfect base for a relaxed weekend away. Would definitely stay again!

Fabulous accommodation in amazing location overlooking the sea and st Mary’s lighthouse. Even in November the views are amazing from all three levels. The accommodation was very clean and spacious; on the ground floor, the kitchen diner was perfect for our family gathering, with lots of crockery and cutlery. The lounge area on the first floor was comfortable and relaxing. The beds were very comfortable and views amazing. We would highly recommend staying here. We wished we could have stayed longer, the best place we’ve found in an area we’ve stayed many times.

We had a lovely stay here, and would love to return. It was a perfect location and the house was well equipped for cooking. It was like a home away from home and the beds were very very comfortable. It would have been handy to have more than 1 dishwasher tablet for a 3 night stay, but other than that it was perfect.

Clean with good location however the beds were so cheap and uncomfortable we had to leave a night early as couldn't sleep. Contacting the company running this place was very difficult. I was offered an early check in and when I phoned to confirm was told I had to ring back 20 hours before to see if it was available. Every agent told me something different. I have two messages, one after the other, saying I could have an early check in then that I couldn't. When finally I was offered one they tried to charge me £65 instead of £30 and, having queried this, they said they'd send me an invoice. This arrived, for the full cost of the holiday ( over £1000!!). I had already paid for the holiday via air b n b. I insisted on paying the £30 early check in charge via air b n b as I didn't feel comfortable otherwise. Again this was not easy. I finally managed to pay the night before our holiday. The company really need to organise themselves better.

We had a fantastic stay at Dale’s property (3 Queens Court ). The place is so easy to find and has great parking facilities. Once inside the house we were so impressed. Lovely open feel to it and the views of the bay and out to see were incredible. The house was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Can’t recommend Dale as a host and this place to stay enough.

A few aspects to look at-the lock on the gate and the external lock part of the front window door need attention as stiff and hard to work.

This is our 4th annual visit to this lovely home and could not have been more happy with everything from check in to check out and everything in between! We come over from the States every year to visit Family, and this is the perfect house for our family of four. House is always so clean, well stocked, beautifully furnished and just feels like home. The location is perfect for walks to The Spanish City, Lighthouse and so many great restaurants and things to do! Already looking forward for our next stay here!

We booked this house for a Christmas get together with my husband’s 2 grown up sons and their girlfriends. So there were 6 adults. The house was spacious and comfortable. We cooked a Christmas dinner in the kitchen and it had everything we needed to achieve this. It was very disappointing that the house didn’t have any Christmas decorations and there was no flexibility with the check out time. I had to message several times to get the answer to this too! I should’ve checked this before we booked as it probably would’ve made me book elsewhere. That all said the house was lovely and perfect for us. Unfortunately we were there during storm Darragh. The house has all these strange vents and there was loud banging all day. You could see the curtains move in the lounge even though the windows were shut. The doors in the kitchen leaked and we had water all over the floor. Obviously it was extreme weather so probably would not happen at any other time but the noise from the vents was awful.

Great place for multi-generational holiday (had to bring own cot & high chair). Loads of space, well equipped kitchen, excellent showers, comfy beds. Fantastic view of sea - beaches just across road. 10 mins from metro so easy to get to Newcastle or down the coast. Kids utensils, books & beach toys. Plenty to do in walking distance. Only negative was a broken cooker hood & very dusty behind furniture & on skirting boards. Not enough to put us off. Would definitely consider going back!

This house is perfect for a family stay. There is plenty of space for a mixture of ages to spend time together and time apart if needed too. The sea view from the dining area, living room and two double bedrooms is absolutely beautiful and one of the main reasons I booked this house for a longer stay, having stayed for a weekend earlier in the year. The location is great for accessibility to the shops and the beach. The Metro station is only a 5 minute walk up the road too, with links to Newcastle and other areas. But if you’re fit enough, you can easily walk to Cullercoats and Tynemouth which are both worth a visit. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and dining and there are cleaning implements to keep the house clean during your stay. The hosts are great and always on hand to help if needed. I will definitely stay for a third time soon.

We are all used to property not quite looking as good as the photos but this property bucks the trend! A super space with ample everything for the 8 people that it can hold. Great showers - not always a given in holiday accommodation. Fabulous views out to sea and only a few minutes walk to Turknaz (great food and atmosphere), Spanish City and the beach. So pleased we were able to take the dog with us. Would definitely book again if need to stay in the area.

This is the best place we have stayed by far, the house was well situated and has absolutely stunning views from every floor - the large windows allowed us to enjoy the stunning sun sets over the sea from the kitchen, as well as lovely views of the sea from the living room and front two bedrooms! I stayed here with my family for my graduation weekend and it was perfect! It was so nice to be on the coast instead of the city centre and could easily get Ubers and the metro into the centre. It was great we were able to take the dogs just make sure you're aware what specific area they're allowed on for each beach (depending on the time of year)! The views were amazing and the kitchen was really well equipped. Overall we'd highly recommend!!

I don’t know where to start with my review of Queen’s Court. I booked it for an early birthday celebration family weekend. The house is stunning, so spacious and nicely decorated. The weather was beautiful so we spent a lot of time in the front yard admiring the sea view, when we weren’t out and about. We didn’t use the living room as we were happy to sit in the dining area on the ground floor. Having 4 bedrooms was great for 3 adult sisters and 2 teenage girls who shared the bunk bedded room. The beds are super comfy and waking up to the sun rising over the sea, from the comfort of my bed, was the highlight of my weekend. It’s about a 5 minute walk to the Metro station with lots of shops close by and of course the beautiful beach across the road. The information given by the hosts was spot on, they were very helpful and informative. Would absolutely love to stay there again in the near future as it’s the best place I’ve stayed at in a very long time.

Really nice house located directly on the waterfront. You can see St Mary's Lighthouse clearly from the property and its very walkable to Spanish City (5 mins), Cullercoats (15 mins) and Tynemouth Beach (20 mins). Close to Metro system which can get you into city centre within 30 mins. Nearest stop is Whitley Bay a 5 min walk. Great communication from the owner, very proactive. We did raise an issue with the TV not getting signal on our first day and it still wasn't resolved by the time we left (1 week later), despite being told that maintenance were going to come out and look at it. That was very disappointing so we had no live TV to watch/available during our stay.

Absolutely amazing accommodation over three floors. Plenty of room for the 7 of us. Immaculately presented with comfortable sofas, chairs and beds. Extra details like pictures, books and indoor plants gave it a homely but contemporary feel. The kitchen was so well stocked with an ample of supply of crockery and cooking utensils. More than you would expect. Bathrooms very clean and good showers with plenty of hot water. Our host Charlie was really helpful before and during our stay with ideas of where to eat and local shopping options. The views over the sea and to St Mary’s lighthouse were beautiful. We’d love to live there! Highly recommend

Gorgeous, beautifully furnished and super clean house that couldn’t be much closer to the sea with stunning views down the promenade to St Mary’s lighthouse. Excellent location for walking to cafes, bars, shops, restaurants, Spanish City and beach. Charlie from Home Stays communication was excellent and very kind when we informed him of an accidental breakage, concerned that our safety was paramount. We found 3 Queens Court a real treat to stay in for a special family celebration and thank you so much for a great stay - we’d love to come back!

This is my family's 2nd time staying at this beautiful home and we will continue to return for our annual trip every time! We are from the US and come to visit family every year and we could not imagine a more perfect space for our family. Everything from the fantastic location to the stunning sea views as well as the space/layout, parking, cleanliness and just ease of access - we could not imagine a better pick for our trip! Absolutely loved our stay! We are a family of five with three kids 14,11 and 5. House is a good size and spotlessly clean and tidy. Plenty space for all of us and never felt on top of each other. Location and view is unreal! So nice to sit with a glass of wine watching the sea! Lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby which was fantastic. Cannot fault our Host, responsive and friendly. We will definitely return, hopefully this summer as I know the kids will love the beach! Will happily recommend to friends and family. Thanks again for a great stay!

Stayed here as a group of 8 looking to relax by the beach. The place was amazing and looked exactly like the pictures. The kitchen was stocked with all cutlery and dishes needed as well as foil, garbage bags etc. The tv/living room and bedrooms were all very comfortable and clean and amenities such as throw blankets, hairdryer etc were all provided. The view of the beach from the house was really pretty and the host provided local restaurant/cafe/activity recommendations nearby. The host was really helpful and responded super fast. Overall, the experience here was amazing and memorable and we would definitely recommend it.

This was all that we expected and much much more. Such a beautiful spot right on the cliffs of the North Sea. The home was spotless and instructions were very clear. We didn’t need to contact the host for anything! The only thing which you must know is that this is a 3 story home! Rooms are very spacious. We loved the fact that the ground floor had the kitchen, living room and a 1/2 bath. On the 2nd floor Living room with 1 bedroom (twin beds) with a full bathroom (with tub) and on the 3rd floor 3 bedroom (2 rooms with queen size beds and 1 room with bunk beds and full bathroom with a shower. We hope to come again next and rebook! Magnificent views ans we had the nice cool, sunny weather almost every day.

Amazing property facing the seafront. Lots of space inside and private secure small sitting area at the rear of the property also helpful for our dogs. Sea front patio that would be perfect in the summer for morning coffee. Immaculate standards throughout and perfectly designed. Close to local shops and restaurants. This is the third Airbnb we have stayed at in Whitley Bay and the best so far. Lots of space for 6 adults, a toddler and an infant plus 3 additional adults that came for dinner one evening. Child friendly, clean, comfortable and of course the fantastic views which we never tired of. Lovely walks, plenty to do. Fisherman’s Bay do great fish and chips. It was difficult to leave and if we return to Whitley Bay we will definitely stay here again.

Host and Stay were quick to respond and very helpful if I had any questions. The house was clean and as described, and the location was fantastic. We spent many hours walking along the promenade and walked into Tyneside (which has a charming high street full of places to eat and drink). The house is spacious with ample hot water and good showers. If you go in the summer you’re going to have a great time sitting outside watching the sea, and the world go by. For the cooks out there, be aware that the house is not a second home, so it is sparse except for the basics, so don’t expect to find anything other than salt and pepper. There was no cling film and aluminum foil, and the washing up liquid only had an inch in the bottom. We were only supplied one toilet roll per bathroom which meant we had to go out and buy all of the above, which was inconvenient. We had a great time, just don’t forget to take a small speaker if you’d like to listen to music.

Brilliant place for a family or a group to stay when exploring the bay or other spots, most of the bedrooms face the water so you wake up to the sound of the sea. Kitchen had absolutely everything we needed and then some. I also really appreciated the air filtration system, a very welcome touch post-pandemic. Would certainly stay again!

This is a lovely house, with a stunning view over the sea and extremely well equipped. Little things like dishwasher tablets and kitchen towels, which so often one has to go and buy after arriving in an Airbnb, really made a difference. Also loads of cups and glasses and plates meant that we always had enough before we ran the dishwasher. Decor and furniture were very nice and it was all very clean. We will book again

Superb property, impeccable cleanliness, beautiful rooms, well divided, perfectly functional kitchen. Well insulated - you can't hear the noise of other floors or neighbors. The kids loved the 2-storey bed, locker-style wardrobe and small desk in the bedroom. We appreciate the 3 bathrooms (2 complete + 1 bathroom ) since there were 8 of us (+1 baby). Beautiful little bistro corner overlooking the sea view at the front of the property. Breathtaking view of 2 bedrooms, living and dining room on the sea. Close to everything. The boardwalk is perfect for walks. Several beaches within walking distance, one of which is literally a 3-minute walk away.

This home is fantastic for a family stay. The kitchen and dining area is fantastic with sea views and loads of space. The location is brilliant right in between Whitley Bay & Tynemouth. The house its self is immaculate - the decor is homely, cosy and modern with such a high standard of finish. The beds so comfortable and the whole was was so clean and fresh. It is a lovely place to stay, right on the sea front and close to amenities in both Whitley Bay and Cullercoats (the latter being a 15/20 min walk). Worth knowing that dogs aren’t allowed on the beach outside the house from 1 May and over the summer months though as that caught us out. We had a lovely time, but overall a collection of small things (like the beach not being open to dogs, some housekeeping issues, check-in being late in the day at 4pm and check out being so early on the day of departure) took the shine off the experience a little, particularly given the very high price paid to stay on a bank holiday weekend.

A nice property with a lovely view across the sea to the lighthouse. The property was clean inside and newly decorated. Good location overlooking the sea but a little noisy from the road at times. The property was lovely and warm when we entered and close to some super places to dine. We especially liked going for breakfast at cafe 19 and to fox and finch. Overall a nicely located property that has been well furnished with plenty of activities and fantastic places to eat nearby.

This house is amazing looking right out over the sea you can see the lighthouse and right along the promenade. So modern and stylish. Every part of this house is beautiful and comfy you will not be disappointed if you chose here. I loved it and will be back soon :)

This is such a gorgeous house, a perfect location and beautifully furnished and well equipped throughout. The only little niggle is that we were told we could check in at 15:00 but we were informed when we arrived at 15:30 that it was actually 16:00. Hardly an issue as we just walked down to the beach but on a less sunny day might have been more of an annoyance. Overall loved it here and will definitely stay again if visiting the area!
