We spent a weekend at the property and it was perfectly located for visiting family. Lovely house and well kitted out. Having shops round the corner was really handy and parking behind the property was very useful. Would definitely recommend the place and will likely use it again in future

We had a really wonderful and relaxing stay in Caversham… it was central, easily walkable into the centre of Caversham and along the river. We had a brilliant time checking out the local area and restaurants. World at Home were well organised all the way from booking to check in and check out… it was all clearly explained and they were very quick in their responses when I contacted them. Great stay – the house is in a good location and well stocked with everything we needed. The rooms did get quite hot, but I think that’s pretty standard for most European houses in the warmer months. Just a note that the stairs are very steep, so something to keep in mind if you have mobility issues. Overall, very happy with our stay!

I’ve stayed in Reading several times while DJ-ing at the festival, and this was by far the best Airbnb experience I’ve had. From the moment of booking, our host was fantastic - clear, friendly, and responsive, with detailed instructions for check-in and check-out. The house itself is spacious, comfortable, and beautifully kept, with cozy beds and a relaxing living area. Its location is excellent - just a short walk into town where you’ll find shops, cafés, bars, a Waitrose, Iceland, barbers, and more. A big thank you to our host for being so accommodating: we arrived earlier than expected, and they kindly let us drop our bags off while the property was still being cleaned. It made a big difference to our day. And one more highlight - the shower pressure was excellent! We’d gladly stay here again. Highly recommended. 5*

Very nice property in the area of Caversham. We were a party of 4 adults and 2 kids and the three bedroom were of good size for all of us. The kitchen and dining room also good size and very clean. In general the property was very well maintained and clean; the host was extremely responsive in responding to our queries.

We had one of the best Airbnb experiences here! Our group of six stayed for two nights, and everything about the stay exceeded our expectations. The location is excellent—within walking distance from Reading railway station—and the neighborhood is calm, clean, and peaceful, especially near the beautiful River Thames. The house itself was spotless and well-maintained. The kitchen and bathroom were exceptionally clean, and we really appreciated the fresh linens and overall tidiness. Communication with the host was prompt and helpful, making the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. A big plus was the private car parking space behind the property, which made things very convenient for us. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Reading—great location, great amenities, and a wonderful host!

We were attending a wedding in Henley and this location was ideal for the short drive to the venue. Excellent property for our needs. A party of four. Property was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The off street parking behind the property accommodated our two cars with ease. Kitchen and two bathrooms were immaculate. Beds were very comfortable. Two pubs nearby. The one I visited at the bottom of the street had a great atmosphere and is worth a visit. Lennon and McCartney played there in 1960 apparently!

We had a couple of issues checking in, but these were resolved quickly. Had a great stay, we chose this Airbnb for a wedding we were attending near by and it ticked all the boxes! There were 6 adults staying there and we had plenty of space. It had everything we needed and in walking distance to shops and restaurants. Would recommend to others and would stay here again if we find ourselves needing to visit the local area again.

Modern, well kitted out house in a fabulous location with all you need for a short break. Short walk to the station, many parks and playgrounds, Waitrose, library and other shops. Small garden area outside. Walkable to reading. Spacious inside. Responsive hosts. Coffee lovers: note there is no Moka pot or cafetier (just one of those pod things). King bed and bedding not hugely comfortable and we couldn't get the showers very warm. Otherwise, is was perfect for our stay (family visiting friends nearby).

Or family with small children stayed here. The dedicated parking off the lane at the rear meant parking was easy. The house was easy to find from the instructions. It is a short walk from the middle of Caversham for shops and restaurants and to take a walk along the bank of the Thames. The house was warm, clean and tidy. There were children's bowls, plates, etc. so the kids were catered for.

Nice house, tastefully decorated with lots of small details taken care of. We appreciated being left washing powder and dishwasher tablets for example! We may well stay here again, it was pleasant to be able to walk to cafes and restaurants in Caversham.

This is a lovely house perfectly situated in Caversham to access Reading and local services. The stairs are steep but not a problem for our group. It was great having 2 bathrooms in a 3 bedroom property.

We are very comfortable in this house & have booked it several times already. It suits our needs while visiting our son & his family. Love being able to walk to all the coffee shops, pubs & restaurants. Off street parking is a big plus.

Great stay! We used it for a wedding but it was above and beyond what we expected! Beautifully presented and clean! Very comfy property! Great location near parks, pubs, shops and not far from the station! We ended up taking a trip to Windsor for a few hours which was so cheap and easy from here! No negatives just don’t use both showers at the same time as a tip! Would definitely recommend! Thanks 🤩

Booked this for a weekend in Reading late August and was perfect for our needs!! Walking distance to everything, lovely pub for food at the end of the road and the host dropped by to make sure everything was ok, would happily stay again.

Really great communication & check-in instructions/information. Located on a moderately busy road in what seemed to be a nice neighbourhood. Comfortable and moderately clean property. Having to purchase a waiver in addition to the rental fees was unexpected. Plus having to provide photographs of our passports was concerning, given I'm a verified member of AirBnb. I think one of the bathrooms could have been cleaner than it was - there was a lot of urine stains under the toilet seat and the floor felt dusty. Despite this, we had a comfortable stay.

We loved our stay! The house was so clean and very comfortable. It was a great home base for us as we took day trips to various English locations. There were five of us and we had plenty of room. I would definitely stay there again--it felt like a home away from home. I loved drinking tea and eating scones in the back garden. So very English!

The house worked very well for my family of 6. Location was ideal and with pubs and shops very close by. A fan up in the loft would be a nice addition as when it got hot that room was an oven. Overall we had a great stay.

We were staying over while attending Royal Ascot which is a 30 minute train journey away, and found the location to be ideal for all local amenities and transport links. The property itself is ideally located, clean and well equipped with plenty of space for our party of 4. The convenience of having off road parking at the rear of the property was a big bonus as the area the property is situated in does have permit parking and other restrictions. In summary, a very nice clean and well equipped property in a great location.

We have stayed before & enjoyed it as much as before. Very clean, very central to Caversham but with parking which is a bonus. Very comfy bedrooms. Lovely to be able to open the patio doors from the kitchen & sit outside. Have booked again in a few weeks!

The stay was good. As with other homes in England, both staircases are a bit narrow and felt steep. If you have elderly people or with mobility issues, this may be a problem. Restrooms and bedrooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floor. The place is very clean and the host was very easy to communicate with. To work the back door lock, make sure you have the handle up. Be careful with the temperature on both showers. Let it run a little to get to the correct temperature as a couple in our party nearly burned themselves because they couldn't get it warm and turned it up too high-and then it adjusted quickly during their showers.

We had a great stay here. We know Caversham really well so knew that the house would meet our requirements in terms of location. Very close to shops, restaurants, Reading station etc and of course the wonderful green spaces along the Thames. The parking was really easy to access and a very useful feature of the house. A downstairs toilet and a few more basic supplies like cooking oil and shampoo would have made for a perfect stay but those are minor improvements.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house, it was exactly as described and worked well for the plans we had for the weekend. The private off street parking was really useful for those that drove and it was convenient and close of those arriving by train!

Newly renovated, clean and bright house. Parking on the alley in the back of the house. Less than 20 min on foot from the train station through parks. BUT 1- an unresponsive and empathetic service provider that requires signing regulations outside of Airbnb and returning identity papers when it is already guaranteed by the platform. Its terms include a 150gbp deposit (ultimately unclaimed) and many penalties of 100Gbp. “Measures imposed by English law on Airbnb”? This is the only place for all our stays in the UK and elsewhere to apply in this case ... 2- no blackout shutters in the bedrooms and a poorly insulated master bedroom on the edge of a busy street. 3- bring your stuff! Nothing but salt and pepper, 3 nespresso vertuo coffee capsules for the stay and impossible to buy 50km away and no other coffee maker 4- the children's park is closed for work for many weeks/months

We lived in Caversham for nearly 10 years and were back to visit friends. This house has all the basic essentials, was clean and tidy and more importantly had enough beds for us and our 3 kids.

The house looks exactly like the pictures, very warm & clean. Nicely decorated & furnished to a high standard. Very useful to have a private parking space to the rear & very close to the shops & restaurants. We had a problem with the boiler/hot water but the landlord sorted it within hours. Would definitely stay again.

It was a lovely experience, it had everything we needed and the host was very responsive and helpful. Even included fresh milk and sugar. Loads of useful appliances and stuff in the house. A great house to have a family Christmas in. There was even a little tree and some fairy lights. Perfectly situated near Caversham centre, the River Thames and Reading station. A nice walk is over the pedestrian bridge over the river, turn left downstream, at Caversham Lock cross back over the river and have a look at Reading Hydro community energy scheme, then walk back upstream on the north bank. The kitchen is well equipped, even with a multi tool hand blender and a gravy boat. Having two bathrooms was handy. You need to provide your own logins for TV and streaming services. The WiFi worked. Parking is a rarity in Caversham, and at this Airbnb there's some off road out the back that fits 2 cars or even a campervan. There's a key to get in the back, so that's a nice way to come in and out even if walking, as the back lane goes down to a little park.

We had a really lovely 17 night stay. There was everything we needed for the stay, everything was beautifully clean and the decor was fantastic too. The host was very responsive and quick to answer any of our questions. The location is great too with lots of shops, restaurants, bars and pubs within easy walking distance.
