Beautiful (but definitely on the 'cosy' side for 4 people) cottage, nice & very welcoming local pub in the village! We enjoyed our stay overall, although we didn't find the chillout space or beds very comfortable. We also didn't have a coffee machine which was quite disappointing as we could have brought our own if we'd known in advance - we had to buy a cafetiere so we could make coffee.

Loved Pool Cottage, the garden was a very good size for the dog which was ideal. Cottage was very cosy and there was plenty of areas to go walking. Would definitely stay again.

Pool Cottage is so beautiful & the host was really keen to accommodate and look after us. The cottage is advertised as dog friendly and it has a wonderful garden and some doggy beds and picnic rug, really brilliant. The garden is not secure - there's a (quiet) road in front of the house, also a bridleway and about a foot gap underneath the front gate and underneath the deer fencing in the back garden. We have a medium sized dog who could easily have fitted underneath, we wouldn't usually leave him unattended but I wouldn't have been able to stop him getting under it if he had seen a horse so didn't initially feel we could let him off. When we called to discuss, the host immediately offered us a temporary solution that meant we could use the garden more safely for our time there. And it was really, really a thoughtful, peaceful and lovely house. The local pub is really sweet and the walks around the village are glorious too. Amazing National Trust walks and countryside stunning. Go!

This place was perfect! We were meeting friends for the weekend. We both had a dog, and this cottage was wonderful. Great enclosed garden, fully equipped kitchen, 2 lovely double beds, very picturesque cottage in a village with lots of walks on your doorstep and a lovely village pub where the people were so friendly. Roxy was super helpful and responsive when we had a question. Thoroughly recommend

Charming, peaceful property in a village setting. Not as large as it seems from the photographs and very short on storage space of walking/ wet gear. Garden not fully secure if you bring curios dogs who like to explore their surroundings 😂 That said, well located for access to a number of great NT properties which are well worth visiting. e.g., Brockhampton, Comer, Berringham. All gorgeous sites. Legges deli in Bromyard, Peter Cooks Bread close by on A44 and the friendly Bringsty Cafe well worth a visit.

Absolutely amazing place. The village itself is stunning and the village shop is well stocked and run by lovely volunteers. The house itself is so picturesque, we felt like we were in the film The Holiday. The cottage was so cosy and the kitchen was superbly stocked. There were little touches like hot water bottles and tea/coffee. The garden is gorgeous and we sat out each morning with a cup of tea. We will definitely be hoping to stay again. We struggled with the key box, but the host was quick to respond and friendly/helpful. Thank you for a wonderful weekend stay!

lovely little place. gorgeous location and great for dogs. nice pub that's served the best roast dinner I've had in a long time. Hot water was a problem however. it was warm but had to keep putting thermostat up in order to get hot water and then was on for a period of time so we couldn't have a bath. shower was decent when hot water available. clean and well presented but few things mentioned would be on site but were not. however, would recommend this place..

Lovely cosy and quaint cottage in a peaceful location. Very nice and friendly local pub. Host had really efficient communication. Only note is some of the amenities weren't replenished such as shower gel, fire wood, bin bags etc. Really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful cottage just what was needed. Had difficulty as key safe wasn’t working but Guest Homes were quick to solve the problem. The cottage was lovely and clean and warm and a great secure garden for the dog. Just wish I could have stayed longer.

The cottage is absolutely beautiful, from the exterior to the interior and garden. Everything was clean and cosy. Little issue with the hot water to begin with as it was running cold. However after messaging guest homes they replied quickly to resolve. It would have been nice to have coffee pods for the coffee machine. Overall we loved the place and will be rebooking for next year!

We stayed here with our family (including 2 small children) for 1.5 weeks. Very nice cottage with good equipment. There is a nice playground behind the house. For the tall people among us: The doorposts are relatively low. I hit my head - despite the warnings above the doors - very hard. My own fault, but it takes some getting used to. Unfortunately, we had some problems with the hot water during our stay. After contacting the host, they took great care of it and helped us out. The host also came by to check on the pressure. So very friendly host!

On the day of arrival we were told we were not able to stay at the cottage, they had contacted in the afternoon but I did not see it until I arrived because I was travelling. We were kindly offered an alternative flat in Worcester but it was small and very warm. We were looking for open green space so the cottage would have been perfect. Admittedly, it wasn’t their fault but overall not a great experience. Fair play for a full refund and trying to find somewhere else suitable.

Pool cottage is a delightful place to stay. The photograph represents it beautifully. It is a cosy and comfortable cottage with an extensive garden. It is located in the centre of the village next to an excellent recreation ground. The pub and village shop are in easy reach. As the weather was warm and sunny we made full use of the brand new barbecue and enjoyed eating in the garden in a very peaceful setting.

Wonderful, cosy, clean cottage. Looked exactly as photographed. So private and peaceful. Sitting out in the garden after a long day exploring was so refreshing, listening to the birds singing. Well equipped kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Would highly recommend this place to stay. Roxy was at hand with instructions and clear communication.

Lovely place to stay. Park over the road also very handy for kids. Garden easy to enclose for dogs. Upstairs door frames are very low- just be aware if you’re tall! Esp if your partner ignores the warning ⚠️ sign. Living room is lovely and cosy with the fire especially. Overall, recommended ☺️

Roxy's cottage was perfect for our 3 night stay, and had everything that we needed. Chewy our little miniature dachshund enjoyed sniffing around the back garden (supervised) and seemed very at home. We visited some lovely places nearby and spent a great day following a trail in the Malvern Hills. We ordered a takeaway from the Thai restaurant that Roxy recommended and the food was delicious. All in all a lovely relaxing stay

Just came back from a wonderful stay the cottages had such a lovely feel to it felt straight at home. Really enjoy the open fire and watching the wildlife in the garden while my daughter and dog ran around,super comfortable beds too. So many lovely walks in the area and some great pubs. Roxy was the perfect host will definitely be returning.

Extremely pleased I chose Pool cottage for a surprise mini break away for my husbands birthday. Roxy went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and could keep the surprise! The house is so beautiful inside and out. Decorated with cute curtains and cushions/throws, we felt at home but better! We loved the under floor heating and the log burner! Everything was easy to use. The coffee machine was an extra treat. Our dogs enjoyed the garden. They had plenty of space to roam about and the gates keep them safe from the road. Good footpaths through orchards nearby. Dog beds/bowls all supplied making packing easier. Definitely would recommend for a dog walking holiday. Our 3 year old daughter also had a wonderful time. There is a park just next door! Would happily have stayed longer.

Pool Cottage is a delight and a credit to host Roxy whose levels of communication are exceptional. From the moment you enter the gated driveway you know you’re in for a treat. The driveway offers safe parking - great for unloading with two dogs in tow. The cottage is beautifully presented and maintained, full of character but with all the modern conveniences. Spotlessly clean and I couldn’t have asked more from my stay. The village of Whitbourne is easily accessed of the A44 but no traffic noise evident - the village is friendly and peaceful and served by an excellent Community run village shop, which is very well stocked with local Herefordshire produce and run by helpful and friendly village volunteers. A credit to the village. The Live Inn pub is on the list for my next visit to Pool Cottage in March. I don’t doubt it will live up to its’ reputation for serving great beer and great food.

Had such a relaxing peaceful weekend here. The place was spotless with lovely soft towels and bed linen. The local area has a great, friendly little pub and small shop with all we needed. Great base for exploring the area close to National Trust park which was great for a day exploring with the dog. We had everything we needed and Roxy’s guide of things to do & places to eat was really useful. Would love to stay again - maybe even a bit longer next time. 😃🐾

Lovely stay at Meadow Green! Loved the gardens and walking under the arch. Inside, the cottage was pristine. Very comfortable bed and bedding. Modern bathroom, kitchen and amenities. TV was easy to use and the underfloor heating made the cottage cosy. Only thing I’d recommend is a simple set of instructions with how to use the log burner (for complete beginners like me) and a glove for opening the burner door. All in all a beautiful stay!

We had a really wonderful stay at Pool Cottage. Roxy was really helpful and responsive. The cottage was well equipped and the log fire was a real treat. You are surrounding by beautiful countryside and wake up to peaceful birdsong in the morning. Will definitely hope to visit again!
