Welcome to Gwenelin, a cosy and charming 1890s Grade II listed cottage nestled within two picturesque courtyards that form the heart of Ashwin Court - an iconic Cotswold cottage setting. While the cottage features a modern kitchen and bathroom, it retains much of its original character with traditional details that create a warm, inviting atmosphere. From the moment you step through the door, you'll feel right at home. Located in the historic village of Bretforton, on the edge of the Cotswolds.
Please be aware that this property is located near a main B-road. You may hear noise from passing cars at peak times. The cottage has all the original features including the windows that are only single pane.
The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need and includes a dishwasher, wine cooler, tassimo coffee machine and dining table with seating for two. Settle in for the night and light the fire in the cosy lounge area comprising of 3 seater sofa and coffee table.
WIFI, flat screen SMART TV with free Netflix, DAB radio with Bluetooth to play your own music. Games and books are available for your use nestled in the reading nook area.
Winding wooden stairs with rope rail, lead up from the lounge area to the first floor landing, off which are the following rooms:
Master bedroom: a large, light and airy bedroom, with built-in wardrobes, dressing table and chair. A king size bed with Harrison Spinks mattress, set of bedside drawers.
Bathroom: a traditional white bathroom suite with a shower over the bath.
The property benefits from one allocated parking space within the car park. Parking is not permitted directly outside the cottage at any time.
Beyond the car park are landscaped communal gardens, with benches and seating inviting alfresco dining. Additionally there is a picnic bench at the front of the cottage itself for Gwenelin guests only.
All towels, linen, hand soaps, hand sanitiser, salt & pepper are included.
Please note that parking is restricted to the carpark. No parking directly outside the cottage is permitted. Please only park in the allocated space.

There is one allocated parking space in the carpark to the rear of the courtyards. PARKING IS NOT PERMITTED DIRECTLY OUTSIDE THE COTTAGE AT ANY TIME There is no parking of caravans or boats permitted (either in the allocated space or overflow parking) As a quiet residential area, please do keep noise to a minimum after 10pm All outdoor areas are communal and are there to be enjoyed by all residents and visitors. Please treat these areas with respect and report any damages and please leave these areas as you find them - Gather used towels

Property Manager Terms
- For a full refund, the guest must cancel at least 5 full days before the listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
- If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, 50% of the nightly rate for the nights not spent 24 hours after the cancellation occurs are refunded.
- Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
- Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
- A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
