Location, great, very tired in places, stains on sofa, plaster coming away / not filled in, in places, major issue was lack of cutlery, considering there was six of us, three forks and on wine glass, doesn't quite do it, took a nearly a day for replacement and the required a lot of chasing, and then after leaving the key in the key safe as requested the items where left outside the back door !
The beds are really comfortable, TV needs attention, i.e. setting up, great off road parking, would we stop again, probably yes due to the location.

We arrived a little earlier than our scheduled time and had to wait for the cleaner to finish. She was friendly and communicative, and took us through the buildings facilities. We did not really use the kitchen area - except for making hot drinks - as we went out for meals. We realised we had overlooked packing some personal items after checking out, but a helpful telephone call to the owner allowed us to regain access. Overall, the place was clean and served its purpose for our short stay.

This property is very well located for visiting the city centre but is situated on a fairly busy main road. The house was lovely and warm inside which was much appreciated on a very cold weekend. The inside was quite modern, neat & tidy and generally very clean, with smart new bathrooms. Seating in the lounge was quite limited but there were only 4 adults in our party so not a problem for us. A few more personal touches would have been nice but overall we enjoyed our stay there.

Well located with good communication from the hosting agency. The house is very nice but would have been great with some simple maintenance. Large stains on the sofa could be easily cleaned, the bathtub was dangerously loose, fireplace not working, and additional pans and toiletries would be a nice touch. Overall good value and a cosy place that could easily be made great with some very basic care and attention.

Within walking distance of the Cathedral.

Garden was overgrown and full of weeds, making it look unkept and the grandchildren did not even have the room to have kick about with a ball due to it being so overgrown. Kitchen facilites some basic items not included eg colander, salt & pepper, one tea towel for the entire 9 days! No dishwasher or washing sachets to use. For a nine night stay - only one set of towels and sheets per person. Only one dustbin in the kitchen and no instructions about re-cycling of items. Feature bath was not stable, it actually wobbled and was not used at all. No non-slip mats within the downatirs and upstairs showers. Little in the way of hanging facilties or drawer space. One old wardrobe in the en suite bedroom which was very difficult to open and almost fell on top of me when trying, as it was not stable. When I did get it open it had old dirty socks in it so it was not used. The main problem was the wifi which completely broke down after 4 days. This did cause considerable problems but Lissy at Guest Houses did her best to resolve this and a new Router was fitted within 48 hours, as the previous one was beyond repair. There was no Guest Folder to explain the use of the machinery eg washing machine, or any details about the facilities eg re-cycling. For a house which can accommodate 6 to sleep, there was not enough comfortable seats for 6 people to sit down at the same time, and the large sofa was covered in stains which was rather off-putting. I did take photos of things in the house and I have to say that the garden does not look like the photo in the advert.

I thought £100 for cleaning is excessive when you do the cleaning yourself. Wasn't aware of 3rd party agent until after we booked.

It was very close to the centre and near to the Cathedral, shops, train stations and very convenient and going to places of interest and other towns and cities nearby.

There should have been a folder with useful information such as emergency contact numbers, doctors, hospital, instructions on how to use the TV which was complicated, using washing machine, dishwater (I didn’t use), dustbin collection, places of interests, food, shops. The cupboard where the saucepans were was not clean, cleaning kit was under the sink and it was disorganised and I tidied it up. I cleaned the dirty square dishes, the coffee machine had coffee grains and was not cleared. No vacuum to clean the carpets. The shower in the main bedroom was very slippery and I had nothing to grab hold of. No shelf unit to put my soap, shampoo etc.

Clean and well appointed. Easy to get to and easy to get into the house. Served us very well for the weekend.
Slightly understocked in terms of glasses and no cafetière for coffee!
Rather thin walls with the neighbours next door (maybe also airbnb?) who were quite noisy in the early hours.

The house itself was comfortable and clean and as it looks in the photos. Beds were great. It’s in a pretty central location so easy to get to town centre.
A couple of cons:
Like other reviewers have mentioned, there were dirty plates, cups and glasses which we had to wash before we could use them.
Also, the heating in the top bedroom wasn’t working. To be fair, I didn’t contact the hosts as the people staying there didn’t mind. I’m sure they’d have sorted it out as the hosts were great - super responsive and helpful.

this is a lovely place to stay. Great area, parking and space, the only downside was the cleanliness. Dishes had to be cleaned before using, alot of dust everywhere and the floors had tumbleweeds of hair and dirt rolling by. I would definitely stay again though if clean.

Door to loft stuck, dangerous if as a fire escape.
Door to 2 nd bedroom also was sticking
Finishes in bathroom not good.
Told by guest homes that maintenance might come and leave key reluctant as all belongings there and we don’t know who was coming

Rubbish overflowing bins outside property on arrival. Blind broken in one window. Rang and nothing done about it. No instructions on how to work anything. Couldn't get heating to work. Couldn't get TV to work. Rubbish under beds. Oven was dirty. Only wardrobe handle wouldn't work - this had also been mentioned on previous review. Couldn't hang anything up in other bedrooms. No hooks or anywhere to put towels after use. Handle of door in main bedroom came off on inside. Garden very scruffy.

The property is very clean and fresh in appearance, with a great use of the space. There are plenty of appliances and the furniture is very comfortable, including the beds. There is enough parking for 2 cars which is perfect.
The location is great as it is only a short walk to local pubs and eateries, including into Hereford centre.

Excellent location, just a 5 minute walk from the cathedral and city centre. Warm and comfortable with good facilities. Excellent base for a short stay. Conveniently located supermarket.

There is no shaver point in either bathroom for charging and electric toothbrush.
The interior door handles are in need of attention as they get stuck. The door to attic room is a problem as if closed cannot be re-opened from inside which could result in someone becoming trapped in the bedroom.

We stayed for a weekend get-together. The location is perfect for walking into Hereford and good amenities nearby. Good parking is available for 2 cars.
The house itself was comfortable to stay in. Could do with a bit of dusting, and we didn't have enough towels for everyone who stayed.

The place is good if you need a place to crash, but if you’re looking to spend time in the house I would maybe reconsider, especially in winter. It’s a terrace house, with very little natural light except for the two-bed loft conversion. Parking was very easy, and location was good. There is a large Sainsbury’s a few minutes walk. I felt it was a high cost, given late (3pm) checkin and early (10am) checkout, and other accommodation options in the area but I would guess that’s due to proximity to town. We did ask for an extension on checkout and the business running the property was quick (but friendly), to tell me it was £25 to extend to midday.

Location convenient for city centre, supermarket and cathedral (all within easy walking distance); modern interior with up-to-date bathroom facilities; comfortable bed.

The property had not been cleaned thoroughly; lack of storage for clothes in particular (the one large wardrobe couldn't be opened) and for household items (vacuum cleaner and ironing "board" simply left out in dining room).

The only things I can say is the use of the television needs instruction
If you aren't a technical head it's a bit difficult to sort to find the channels. Also could do with some hanging space in the 3rd floor bedroom.

If you are looking for a fairly large full house very close to the city center then this is a great choice. Pictures are accurate. And it is well run and maintained. Instructions to check in and check out we're easy to follow. Good stay!

Great house, just like the photos inside but the garden needed a good weed!
Beautifully clean and modern with comfy beds and fluffy towels.
Car parking available on the drive if required and ideal situation for exploring the town centre and local sites on foot.
Overall very pleased with the house and much more comfortable and luxurious than a travel lodge which is the equivalent price for that many people over the same number of days.

The home is absolutely beautiful and looks exactly like the pictures. The hosts are really friendly and responsive and we had everything we needed for a great weekend.
Minor tips:
Downstairs bathroom could have been slightly more clean (but we are a brunch of clean freaks lol)
New towels are needed
The mirror in the upstairs bathroom needs to be raised as you can’t turn the tap on fully due to the mirror blocking it.
However those were minor but overall we had the best time in Hereford and in our accommodation and would 100% recommend! We will definitely be back. :)

Central location, walkable to tons of sights, restaurants and shopping. Grocery store right around the corner. Downside is it is on a very busy road which can have heavy traffic and make getting in and out while driving difficult. Bathroom upstairs is only accessible through one of the bedrooms which is a bit inconvenient. You either have to disturb the people staying in that room on do from the 2nd and third 3rd floor to the ground floor. Don't shut the door all the way in the Dow stairs bathroom or you may get locked in! Check-out also seemed really early at 10am.

The place was very clean and well kept, beds were comfy and design is fine. It lacked a few basic essentials to make it comfy like a cafetière, a hair dryer a tv that was set up and hooks on the bathroom door. Location was fine and check in was very easy.

Absolutely wonderful house.The house was really nice for our stay and clean. All facilities were provided. Great showers and very handy dishwasher. Towels are provided but we brought our own. Good sized bedrooms.
Great location very close to the city centre and really close to a superstore . We feel we couldn't have got any better.

Would recommend a stay here. Walking distance from the city and riverside. Excellent facilities with easy parking for two cars. Despite being on a fairly busy road it is quiet. A Sainsury's Superstore (with petrol station) is a few minutes walk up Station Road or 3 minutes drive around the block. A few improvements would make a stay here even better and I have sent these directly to Guest Homes.

Excellent location near to town centre and supermarket. Off road parking a bonus. The property was clean and spacious for 5 adults. A fabulous bathroom on the first floor, extremely spacious. Beds very comfortable and all linen was very clean. An old property which has been renovated with a modern look. An outside space was available, we didn’t use due to time of year.
A welcome/instruction booklet would be welcoming and helpful. As it was winter it would have been nice if the heating was on, on arrival especially after a 4 hour drive.

Lovely home for a great short working stay in Hereford. Within walking distance to all great Hereford spots. The double free parking was a great add, simply because we had 2 cars to drive there with for work. Love the place & will book there in future. Shame we didn’t get to use the back yard as it was colder when we stayed over. But yes, a great steal & really worth booking. Recommended for large family as the rooms & beds are sufficient for a homely stay. Thanks to the hosts who were kind to let us in an hour earlier as we arrived earlier than expected. Hosts were quite responsive & helpful. I can’t complain much else for perhaps more toilet amenities I suppose? Other than that, pls book this place. I highly recommend it.

The house was lovely, really nicely decorated with style, space for all my family. Thanks to the communications of the host it was made a stay witb ease, we had a few issues with hairs in the bed although this was cleaner's fault and the host sorted. This is great stay with just a short 5-10 minute walk to most of the downtown area. Plenty of restaurants and pubs within walking distance, and a short 5 minute walk from the river. Its a great value, and when we had an issue with one of the showers it was resolved within 24 hours.

Booked this house for ourselves and friends the layout was perfect for two families it is set over three levels the upper floor has two single beds, the second floor has two bedrooms both have double beds one has a very large ensuite with large walk in shower Large bath . The ground floor has a dining area lounge area kitchen and a second bathroom with a bath walk in shower the whole house was very clean.outside to the front a driveway for two cars.easy walking distance to the high street.from arrival to departure it was a pleasure. Would definitely book again.
