Central 2 bedroom apartment, entrance to the building is quite grubby. Hallway entrance up to the apartment is a bit smelly. The apartment is nice, bed was clean & comfy. Needed a little more attention to deal with the cleaning but otherwise a nice place to stay.

This was possibly Airbnb at its worst. The property is tired and neglected and dealings are all via an agent. When i asked for the owners details they refused to give them. The smoke alarm was beeping with a dead battery when we arrived and 3 hours later i was told they could not resolve it, so i bought a battery and changed it myself by climbing onto furniture so i could reach. They did offer £25 for that, but it was stressful and inconvenient. The mattress of the main bed was bought in 2008 and was completely broken. It is impossible to sleep on one side and in fact we ended up having to sleep on the sofa instead, which was upstairs in the far too hot loft of the penthouse. There is no cooling provided, making this a very uncomfortable stay in hot weather. Overall it is very clear that this is a commercial landlord operating the "cleaning cost" tax fiddle and it is not someones home at all. I would not recommend to anyone, and i would actively avoid "managed" properties from now on

Beautiful flat, with some old touches, and Welsh touches. Great location, 5 minutes to the Cathedral, nice area. The place was clean, but the hall was very dirty (before you come to the front door), not hoovered for weeks, and there was not enough of soap in the bathroom. Adequate kitchen.

On the face of it, it’s lovely. Look deeper the apartment the one at the top, needs basic maintenance, repairs and a deep clean. Bathroom plug faulty have to remove with your nails. Notified via this portal didn’t seem bothered. Default response. Checked back in to see if they addressed them, being reviewed. Not a lot to review, replace 4 faulty bulbs, get a deep clean (blinds were disgusting) and get some repairs done! Also mugs had cracks and only one teaspoon. Come on sort it out.

We stayed in this flat over Christmas with my family and we were overall happy with our stay, considering the low price. The location is great, in the middle of town but also quiet and private. The photos are accurate and the place is nicely decorated. The cooking and dining implements were limited, there were not enough plates and mugs for 4 guests and the pots and pans were old and not very clean. For a short stay it would be ok, but if you plan to cook your own meals, it is lacking in that department. Also, the mattresses were not great, we could feel the metal springs and they caved into the middle.

A good two bedroom apartment in the centre of Hereford. I knew about the parking, which is annoying, but, do'able. Is clean and tidy inside. The outside is shabby and detracts from the overall experience. Communication was good and straightforward. Would stay again if need be.

place was okay. location good in that you're in the town centre but no place to unload your car. The loading bay that was suggested is only open at limited times of the day. the kitchen could be better stocked. cupboards dirty. Tap loose in the kitchen. Opening the oven door pulls out the whole oven unit. could do with a draining unit too. bird poo on the doors - clearly a pigeon had got in as there were lots on the roof which you can see out of the velux windows (which were in desperate need of a clean). my husband sat on the bed one room and the slats fell through, causing the bed to collapse. he's a very slim man so definitely not his weight!! he was holding our baby at the time and this was dangerous. the other bedroom had what looked like blood stains on walls and curtains. wouldn't recommend or stay again. the only good thing was they left 2 fans which were necessary in the heatwave and the place has character.

Such a great location! Every tourist destination was in walking distance. Despite the proximity to the high street the actual place was set far enough back from it to be very quiet at night. We had no issues sleeping and the rooms were dark enough for us. The apartment layout was very quirky and had lovely decor throughout. Underfloor heating in the bathroom was a bonus! Room for improvement: the sofa was very uncomfortable to sit on (likely as its quite old and/or the cushion has worn down? You could feel the parts of the sofa bed beneath), and the mattress in the bedroom with the fireplace could do with replacing or bed frame needs updating (significant dip on the right side of mattress - I see others have also mentioned similar views), and a few bits of rubbish found in bedside cabinet, and communal areas could also do a quick clean. Despite this, it didn’t detract from the trip. The location is what was key for us and it was well worth the stay just on that benefit alone.

This is a great little place, super conveniently located in Hereford. Easy to find, well equipped and really easy to check in. The hosts also give really clear instructions on finding the place and how to access the property. It's well equipped with all things needed for a few days break, and also when we arrived the table was set with crockery which we thought was a really nice homely touch. Would recommend!

2nd week staying with Guest House and two different merchant properties. The house was great had everything you need. Not entirely happy with the guest house customer service. Notified them early morning after first night with an issue with a broken bed. They didn’t make any effort to resolve it and I was told I had to wait 2 days for new slats to arrive, so basically continue to sleep on a broken bed. I appreciate things don’t arrive instantly, but guest house made no effort to sort their issue out. As it happens, we managed to sort the bed for the remainder of our stay so wasn’t too much of an issue, but I feel they could have attempted to solve the problem as it was their responsibility.

Stayed here for a week. Both rooms are spacious and are well presented. Kitchen is well equipped. The lounge is spacious and allowed for some nice relaxed evenings. Would stay again 👍

amazing location and staying in a place of history! lots of restaurant and grocery options within 5 minutes walk. 15 min walk from the station. comfortable beds and pillows for all kinds of sleepers! plenty of heating options, nice washroom and shower. Great windows for air circulation and cooling. decor was nice, kitchen was perfect for prepping a simple meal. not much living / communal space if you're looking to hang out in your flat and the furnishings for relaxing are quite poor but it's a great place to explore the town, come back and have a nice sleep

This penthouse apartment is lovely. Quite spacious as it spans over two floors with an extra large shower to enjoy. The sitting room was really comfy. We didn’t do any major cooking but the kitchen seemed well equipped. Easy to access and right in the heart of Hereford although removed from the road so didn’t hear people on the streets at night. We parked in a long stay car park just down the road which was very convenient.

Unfortunately a full set of bedding for the sofa bed was not left inside flat despite a promise in advance that it would and it was dirty in places (old tissue under sofa bed, for example, indicating that cleaner didn’t go near the area). It’s a bit of a faff to get in and out too. On the plus, exceptional city centre location. At half the price I would recommend.

Lovely apartment, so much to do lots of bars and restaurants it’s right in the town centre. The only thing was parking we had to walk through the town centre and with suitcases you have to park in a carpark which is a 7 minute walk from the apartment

overpriced for what it is, and not consistently clean which is unsettling during a pandemic (and a property which signed up to AirBnb’s enhanced cleaning protocols). Super weird musty smell in the flat, which I couldn’t do anything about as the windows were so clogged with dirt between the internal double glazing and external panes, that a small breeze would blow it all into the flat. Common areas (hallways etc) dirty and not a good first impression. If this was maybe £100 per night the problems would be less obvious. Mattress in the mIn bedroom is a bit knackered also, and some tatty old pillowcase on it. I didn’t stay, found somewhere else due to the stress of wondering about covid cleaning levels. Positives: bathroom looked very clean, central location, very smooth check-in.

It’s a stylish property in a great location and we really enjoyed our stay. Much of the house - carpets, crockery, towels etc felt new or very nearly new which was nice. Comfy bed.
