To reach this stunning penthouse apartment, you'll need to climb three flights of stairs. The apartment features two comfortable bedrooms, each with a double bed, bedside tables, lamps, and wardrobes. The bathroom is equipped with a large shower, toilet, and sink, with toilet roll and soap provided for your convenience. Upstairs, you'll find a spacious living/dining area, complete with a sofa bed, offering plenty of space to relax. The apartment is full of rustic, edgy details, including charming wooden beams throughout, creating a warm and cosy atmosphere. The kitchen, just off the living room, is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. This truly is a perfect home away from home. Boxes not labels had to get a flat resident to help open and they struggled too.

No windows in bedrooms very musty smell with no air circulation … everyone tripped on the different size step on stairs at one point

This was possibly Airbnb at its worst. The property is tired and neglected and dealings are all via an agent. When i asked for the owners details they refused to give them. The smoke alarm was beeping with a dead battery when we arrived and 3 hours later i was told they could not resolve it, so i bought a battery and changed it myself by climbing onto furniture so i could reach. They did offer £25 for that, but it was stressful and inconvenient. The mattress of the main bed was bought in 2008 and was completely broken. It is impossible to sleep on one side and in fact we ended up having to sleep on the sofa instead, which was upstairs in the far too hot loft of the penthouse. There is no cooling provided, making this a very uncomfortable stay in hot weather. Overall it is very clear that this is a commercial landlord operating the "cleaning cost" tax fiddle and it is not someones home at all. I would not recommend to anyone, and i would actively avoid "managed" properties from now on
