Pros: Extremely responsive to messages. Issue with lightbulbs quickly dealt with, extra teaspoons, mop and bucket were provided when asked. Accurate listing, the place matched the pictures. Convenient location near supermarket. Parking space good but sometimes had other cars parked in the day. Cons: Lacking equipment e.g. only 1 oven glove, 1 teaspoon. Freezer really needed defrosting - caked in ice, drawers had to be forced open. Poor hygiene/cleanliness: Cobwebs +dead bugs in bedroom and living room, extremely mouldy dish rack and washing machine drawer and drum ring - spent first few hours after check in cleaning and scrubbing it all (and buying extra cleaning supplies - the welcome cleaning pack was tiny). While host did offer to send cleaners "had we told them earlier(!)", We expected the property to have been cleaned to an acceptable AirBnB standard. The "cleaning fee" was very poor value (£70!).

This place was well located for us and guest homes were responsive. However, it was really dirty. My son crawled out into the garden and immediately put a cigarette butt into his mouth - disgusting. The bin in the kitchen was growing some serious mould and all the pots and pans were filthy and had to be cleaned before we could use them. Guest homes offered to refund me my cleaning fee, which I don’t feel was enough compensation. The wifi is also very patchy.

- For a full refund, the guest must cancel at least 5 full days before the listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
- If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, 50% of the nightly rate for the nights not spent 24 hours after the cancellation occurs are refunded.
- Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
- Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
- A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
