Good location to local amenities such as a supermarket, eatery and public houses. In a quiet location with friendly neighbours surrounding.

The garden is incredibly overgrown which is not a reflection of the images advertised. Areas of the house lack maintenance such as; stained carpets/sofa and badly smelling kitchen cupboards in which we needed to bleach before storing food in as there were multiple hairs and crumbs. We also found that the lack of seating was an issue as we needed to use garden furniture to sit down and eat a meal.
Kitchen is under-equipped as it lacks in essentials such as; glasses and cutlery. There was only 2 wine glasses and 2 tumbler glasses so we needed to go to Sainsbury's to ensure there was enough glasses for all 6 of us.
Location of the key safe is not made clear and it is actually around the side of the building, fortunately the building was left open on our arrival.
The under stairs needs some attention as it smells and looks like a cluttered dump.

Bon emplacement, très près de la ville de Worcester.

Nous avons récupéré les clés dans une boîte à clés, comme convenu. Néanmoins, la porte d'entrée était bloquée et il a fallu passer par la porte, côté jardin, pour ouvrir (heureusement) la baie vitrée du salon. Le jardin était complètement à l'abandon (herbe haute, ronces, fil à linge cassé, terrasse non balayée, sale)
Intérieur de la maison - moquette tachée, sale, toiles d'araignées, abats jours de lampes cassés, vaisselle manquante ou sale. Four crasseux. Odeur très désagréable dans la maison à notre arrivée.
Moisissures dans la salle de bain. Etats des lits, mauvais et couettes dégoûtantes - déchirées et très vieilles.
Canapé lit dans le salon, tâché, très sale et inconfortable.
L'aspirateur n'a pas été passé dans le salon.
Décoration de Noël toujours présente fin juin .....
Quatre chaises seulement - nous avons réservé pour cinq personnes.

Really unfortunate stay. I immediately wanted to leave and asked for a refund as the place was filthy, bed broken and garden inaccessible, but I was refused a refund and was also refused a change in accommodation. I asked for at least for the property to be cleaned and they promised it would happen, after they refused to refund or move us, but this didn’t happen either. Felt lied to. Really, really do not stay here. It was awful.

Location

The garden is completely overgrown and unusable. Patio is filthy and has a plastic Xmas tree and empty lager cans strewn in one corner, visible from the dirty patio doors. On reading a previous review (which are filtered so you don't see the newest first), the Xmas tree has been there some time. The property had an odd smell when we first arrived and we were greeted by a stained carpet, dirty utensils and pans, a stained sofa, a lamp with a broken shade, cobwebs above the dining table and in the bathroom. The tiles in the bathroom also have pink mould (which can easily be cleaned) and a filthy patch of floor at the bottom end of the bath, hidden underneath what appeared to be a bathmat. Grim to say the least. Such a shame as the property has potential to be lovely, the location is great. It's not being looked after at all, in fact I think we left it cleaner than when we arrived. Massively overpriced considering.

Well located and good local amenities

Clearer instructions for location of key safe needed (neighbours have one right by this door so confusing)
Downstairs had a distinct smell of manky nappies, rather unpleasant to say the least.
Carpet in hall is stained and obv hadn’t been vacuumed.
Cutlery and crockery was greasy and what have you so needed to wash it all up before commencing cooking.
Garden is a disgrace, can’t access most due to overgrown and rubbish and the old plastic Xmas tree just dumped on the patio. Grass is knee long etc. couldn’t relax anywhere after work due to either smell indoors or the state of outdoors.

Excellent location, just across the river from Worcester city centre, which was easy to walk to and Sainsbury's supermarket was very close. It was warm and clean with the bonus of a car parking space.

Pros: Extremely responsive to messages. Issue with lightbulbs quickly dealt with, extra teaspoons, mop and bucket were provided when asked. Accurate listing, the place matched the pictures. Convenient location near supermarket. Parking space good but sometimes had other cars parked in the day.
Cons: Lacking equipment e.g. only 1 oven glove, 1 teaspoon. Freezer really needed defrosting - caked in ice, drawers had to be forced open. Poor hygiene/cleanliness: Cobwebs +dead bugs in bedroom and living room, extremely mouldy dish rack and washing machine drawer and drum ring - spent first few hours after check in cleaning and scrubbing it all (and buying extra cleaning supplies - the welcome cleaning pack was tiny). While host did offer to send cleaners "had we told them earlier(!)", We expected the property to have been cleaned to an acceptable AirBnB standard. The "cleaning fee" was very poor value (£70!).

The house is in a great location for town, in a quiet cul de sac with a parking space. It was bright and clean, as described.

Getting access to the property was difficult as they require £200 deposit before you get the keys. The process was not straightforward so I won’t stay here again unless it is directly through booking.com with no intermediaries.

This place was well located for us and guest homes were responsive. However, it was really dirty. My son crawled out into the garden and immediately put a cigarette butt into his mouth - disgusting. The bin in the kitchen was growing some serious mould and all the pots and pans were filthy and had to be cleaned before we could use them. Guest homes offered to refund me my cleaning fee, which I don’t feel was enough compensation. The wifi is also very patchy.

Only the location

The place had a microwave and washing machine in the house when opening the washer it smelled and I had to go buy some cleaner for it so I could use it as little one had accident the microwave I tried to clean after getting some wipes from the shop but did not work so must have been modled told the booking team about this and the said they would send cleaner out next day but when returning back to the house they were still in the same condition.
The house was supposed to be of cleanned but found dirty and dead dead flys,moths and spiders on the corner of the walls down on the floor and on the window sides also trapped dead spiders in the window you could see had been squashed when arrive messaged the booking team and also sent them photos of the places where it had not been cleaned and was told they would send a cleaner out the next day after came back after a day out the same places were also dirty not even been touch just looked like microwave had been moved back messaged the booking team to be told will pass all comments on to the manager which is no good when you are being charged £70 for the house to be cleaned on your booking.
So not a good stay even come home with a few spots so think there may have been something in the bed.

The property is beautifully decorated, as pictured and close to local amenities.
There was a couple of things that I noticed needed a clean so I let guest homes know when I left and they said they'd get it sorted that day.
Overall i enjoyed my stay, thank you.

The accommodation was ideal for a short break. It was nice to have a private garden as well. One free parking space was ideal.

The information about the accommodation and area was provided digitally. Paper copies would have been easier to use for us.

We struggled to work the heating for hours as there were no instructions - after much messaging back and forth we got sent some instructions so could work instantly. one heater wasn’t working in lounge.

worst of all , the Tv on the stand was accidentally knocked off by myself , however it would’ve only wobbled if the legs were secure but the two legs weren’t screwed in so you could literally pull them out - therefore it wasn’t installed / correctly safe. the TV wasn’t new yet the owner charged my credit card £250 for replacement - despite similar new TVs at < £200 - and also it wasn’t brand new so we shouldn’t be charged for a new replacement - we should only be charged for a used replacement which would’ve been obtained for between £100-150. Contacted the owner who is yet to agree to any deduction. will not be using again. be warned.

Parking space. Proximity to town and river for walks. Sainsbury’s on doorstep. House light, bright, clean and comfortable in a nice quiet cul de sac. Great towels supplied.

New build with thin walls etc. so sound carries throughout. Only 1 sofa so if more than 3 staying nowhere to sit except at the dining table. Need instructions for use of hob and heating.
Parking space outside is for 3 cars although only 2 identified for houses 1 & 2, so apparently I’d parked across 2 small spaces on arrival. Was then blocked in by a neighbour who left a note telling me so.

Great location, easy to find, local amenities and good parking.
Good size lounge and two double bedrooms, clean and comfortable decor.

There was an awful, awful smell in the kitchen.
It was the first thing we noticed as we entered the property and unfortunately it only got worse throughout.
The unfortunate fact is, one must walk through the kitchen to get to the lounge, so the horrible smell was unavoidable.
It made the whole stay extremely uncomfortable, we tried to spend minimal time in the kitchen.
It certainly doesn't feel worth the amount of money we paid for a private residence for 3 days.

The location was ideal for us. Easy to find. Lovely quiet place.
Comfortable downstairs sofa..enough for 3 but any more staying there are no more chairs, apart from the dining chairs.
Equipped kitchen.

The holding deposit is such a faff, and burried in the small print. Really put me on edge the whole time as the rules are very particular, limits relaxation!
Cleaning could have been better, did let the company know but they didn't respond to update when we checked out.

These were small things but with out them I would rate it a superb stay instead of just a good stay.

We were very happy with our stay at Guest Homes. The house was as shown, with two good sized double bedrooms that were tastefully decorated. The location was very quiet and pretty secluded for being in an urban centre. It was really handy for the town centre. There is a sainsburys less than 2 minutes away and is very close to the river for lovely walks or a morning run. We couldn't fault it, we just wished it was a little warmer so we could have enjoyed the garden and outdoor space.

Great place to stay being close to Worcester city centre. Only issue is parking space with only one designated place for the accommodation and due to the oriperty location its difficult for a second car. Otherwise very happly with the accommodation and area.

A great house that is well equipped and clean. The location is perfect as it’s Jess than 10 minutes to walk over the bridge into the city centre.
We struggled to work the radiators (there’s an in off switch in the side!) but GH we’re very quick to reply to our messages in a Sunday.

Plenty of Positives:
Good location in close proximity to city centre amenities, supermarket, bus stop, etc., yet in a quiet close with friendly neighbours and away from traffic noise. Private off street parking and garden. New comfortable beds. Towels, linen, toilet roll, hand wash, washing up liquid, etc provided.
A few small suggestions for improvement to make future stays more comfortable have been made. In particular improvements with regards to cleanliness should be addressed.
The Guest Homes team has been very friendly and responded promptly to any queries and maintenance requests prior to and during the stay. Issues reported on the evening of arrival have been fixed first thing the next morning. Thank you.

Lovely little two bedroom house. Great location, walking distance via several routes to the centre of town. Really enjoyed our stay. Both bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and lounge were all spotless. Super close to Sainsbury’s, but also a quiet and peaceful street. Close to so many beautiful places. Great location for access to the local countryside.
Top tip. I would advise new guests to check the freezer before buying new ice bags from Sainsbury’s. We laughed so much when we discovered there were already four bags in the freezer when we returned with bag number five 🤣🤣.

My 2nd stay here during my UK trip, house is in a great location, bins were over full by 2 bags when we arrived but I put them out the day after and then rubbish was scattered around by the local collection, I picked it all up from the previous guests, not what I wanted to do but felt sorry for the neighbours. The bathroom smelt of wee so I also cleaned that, shower needs more pressure, overall it's a nice place but needs attention to detail with housekeeping before new guests check in

Location is excellent, shops and takeaways, restaurants are all within walking distance.
The property could do with a refresh, it was so so on cleanliness on arrival. There were no instructions on how to recycle the rubbish or when to put the bins out, had to search on the internet...
For me the location is great and it's in a quiet residential area close to Worcester.

Two bedroom house a pleasant 15 minute stroll from the City Centre, alongside fields and the river. Spacious lounge leading into a small garden, the kitchen was clean and well equipped and the bedrooms were comfortable. Would recommend as a base for Worcester or the wider area.

A great sized property a stones throw from a good sized Sainsburys and including a designated parking spot at the front door.
Perfect for our trip to Worcester to introduce our daughter to her great grandparents for the first time since she was born in lockdown.
Towels and bed linen were all decent and the bathroom was cleaned to a good standard.
The only items which dropped the ratings I have provided were the garden being over grown, tackiness of some kitchen items (likely from not being used) and finding an empty chocolate pouch under the coffee table.
I would use the property again for future trips.

The property is light and spacious and is very well equipped. Everywhere was very clean and the beds were luxuriously comfortable. There is parking for 1 car directly outside in an allocated space and outside seating in the rear garden
The location is great with Sainsbury only minutes from door to door and it is a comfortable 10 minute walk to the city centre.
