Lovely location and fine for our stay! Had some issues getting into the property as the lock was stiff and had to contact the company who were nice. No shower towels were supplied, and we had to search for a cover for the sofa, which had stains on it. We ended up fitting 3 people in the bed though. Light bulbs for the lounge area and lamp here weren’t working. No wine glasses so we had to buy our own! Window in the bedroom didn’t stay open unless we propped something under it.

Without doubt the worst Airbnb experience I have ever had in Cheltenham — and I visit the town two weekends every month. The apartment looked nothing like the photos advertised. On arrival, the shower was filthy and had to be cleaned before it could even be used. The bed and bedsheets were absolutely disgusting, covered with urine stains and hairs, proving they had not been cleaned or changed. To make matters worse, the entire place reeked of damp. This property is in no way fit to be listed on Airbnb as described . It was unhygienic, misleading, and completely unacceptable. Future guests should think twice.

Lovely little apartment! Clean, bright and modern with big Georgian windows letting in lots of natural light. Plenty of amenities with everything we needed for 5 nights and a big comfortable bed. Perfect location in Cheltenham with Montpellier on your doorstep and a short walk into town centre. Lots of lively bars and restaurants in the area but the apartment was peaceful. Host was friendly, responsive and very accommodating.

Host was responsive and check in easy. Despite this, the pictures as advertised are incorrect. The sofa and carpets are very visibly stained. The Kitchen tap drips consistently. There is wallpaper hanging from the ceiling in the living room and coming unattached from the wall in the hallway. Only two windows can be opened in the property and have to be held so with items available in the rooms, as they will not stay open otherwise. There is a dent to the bedroom door and what appear to be make up marks and scuffs to all rooms. No bin liners are provided, regardless of length of stay. All in all, this property is in a lovely location, but most certainly doesn’t present as advertised. Thankfully I had no need for the “sofa bed”, but if anyone is to, I would advise bringing own linen that includes a mattress protector

A good flat: clean, bright and airy, with big windows. It did however have a slightly damp smell. Despite this its location cannot be faulted. Fabulous restaurants within 5 minutes walk, independent coffee shop less than a minute away and a great Sunday market in the neighbouring street.

On arrival everything seemed fine but once I looked around a bit more I could noticeably see the place hadn’t been cleaned properly. I was disappointed with the lack of amenities such as it having tea and coffee tins but nothing was provided. For the money I paid I would have expected this as it just adds a nicer touch and makes you feel welcome. Also just 1 towel for a 2 night stay, at home this is fine but when I’ve paid to stay somewhere I would like a clean towel each night. No body wash or anything for a shower and lack of hot water and only 1 roll of toilet paper. The bathroom was not clean at all with urine stains on the toilet and hairs stuck to the wall. However, bed was lovely and comfy and the location was good. Shame about how noisy it was throughout the night but not much you could do do avoid that. Overall it wasn’t great and I wouldn’t stay again just due to the fact it felt unclean and I almost questioned whether it had actually been cleaned since the last guests.

The flat is in a good location with shops, cafe’s and restaurants within walkable distance. Sadly, extremely disappointed with the cleanliness, which is such a shame as looked nice in photos. Upon arrival found sofa bed badly stained & hairs all over it. Despite a specific message about requiring bedding for sofa bed & being assured bedding for it provided, we found only some dirty old bedding with no covers shoved in a damp cupboard in bathroom which we certainly were not going to use. Luckily a local friend lent us some. The rug in the sitting area was filthy & so were the cushions on the sofa. We moved them as we didn’t want to use them. We found crumbs and sticky mess all over the kitchen counter top so we had to clean kitchen before using. The bathroom floor was also filthy and the room smelt badly of damp. It made us feel very uncomfortable being surrounded by dirt like that. Would not recommend or stay ever again.

Enjoyed my stay here. Very good location, good size flat. All I would stay is that it can get very stuffy with the windows unable to open. Apart from that everything else was excellent😃 Would go back again.

Good points. Great central location with easy access to town and close to plenty of great restaurants and bars. The apartment is spacious and kitchen was clean and well equipped. Negatives, Stains all over sofa, and on rug in living room, hair under loo seat and in bath. £50 cleaning fee and emailing asking us to take out all the bins!…. I’d start looking for a new cleaner. Over priced for what it is, 3 star at best!

We had a lovely stay, the apartment was lovely and in a great location close to the city centre and shops etc. Check in was easy and the space was clean and had everything we needed for our weekend away. Definitely would stay here again :) Thank you

This apartment was true the the photos and description (but with the addition of a handy compact clothes rail and shelves at the foot of the double bed), and located in a nice quiet area. The bathroom was a bit smaller than expected but well maintained. The main faults were that oddly the loo paper consisted of a kitchen roll cut crudely in half and there were no bin bags available. But overall a pleasant stay.

No response to message requesting earlier drop off of suitcase. No response to request for TV to be installed properly!!Had to sleep on sofa in lounge one night because of a ridiculously strong wall light in yard below bedroom window flashing on sand off c.every five minutes.

Spent some time here over Christmas. Small apartment in a lovely area, however there are some downsides. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired and there was a strong smell of sick in the master bedroom. I did contact Guest Homes about this but received a rather careless response about my comments being passed on to the cleaner (I sent them multiple photos). It says it sleeps four but I’d argue it only comfortably sleeps two. The sofa bed is very uncomfortable. There is a long list of potential charges left on the table which is absolutely fair enough but it comes across as unfriendly.

The boiler didn't work, the coffee maker leaked, the host handled it very poorly. I checked out a day early, as it was so cold I couldn't sleep. Host couldn't care less. Avoid this company, this is the 2nd of their places I've stayed at, both had issues.

This property is in a great location for all that Cheltenham has to offer. The heating was on when we arrived in the evening (in February) which was welcome but the living room/kitchen area was a bit chilly. The heating came on first thing in the morning but was on a timer so turned it self off - instructions would have been helpful as we were cold. This is a fairly ‘no-frills’ property and doesn’t have any of the homely touches we normally look for in an AirBnB. There were three pages in the house manual which were full of rules/charges and we found this unwelcoming and officious. I understand there may be issues over fake tan spoiling the bed linen but to be told to not use the towel to wipe away any toothpaste residue was a new one for me. Towels were NOT to be used for anything other than drying one’s body - not something I feel I need to be told but perhaps there have been some careless guests at this property in the past. The property is owned by a company and I think the communication is done through a call centre in London. Therefore there isn’t the personal touch in terms of great restaurant/activities/insight into the local area etc.
