Lovely flat in a great location, beach, pubs and restaurants all close by. Very spacious living area. Great having the small garden for our dog, not many flats have this. Just a few little things would add to this place some oven gloves, a few more coat hangers and a clean of the back windows. Overall we would definitely look to stay again when visiting Saltburn.

Lovely apartment with excellent central location. We visited in winter so didn't need the back yard apart from letting our dog out however this needed tidying up as the bushes on the right were so overgrown and dragging the fence down from neighbouring property. Also the windows outside were very dirty. The small shower head did have mould and mildew on it which the cleaner should have noticed. Kitchen well equipped apart from no oven gloves! Overall had a nice stay, first visit to Saltburn as usually stay in Northumberland but would definitely return.

The location of the property was perfect, very close proximity to shops, bars, restaurants, coffee shops, sea front and bus stop. The property was also a good size, especially the kitchen. However, there needs to be more storage in the bedroom and the outside area needs some attention (which has been mentioned in other reviews and in the visitors book). The sofa in the lounge wasn’t very comfortable which I appreciate is often the case with a sofa bed. Overall we had a pleasant stay but we were disappointed with the condition of the outside area which was one of the reasons why we chose the property.

Lovely clean flat in a great position a few hundred yards walk to the sea, shops and restaurants. Comfortable bed good shower and nice big towels. Rear garden needs weeding and tidying up as per other comments.

Beautiful flat, within walking distance of a lovely cafe culture and bars and restaurants. Beach and views amazing! Area reminded us of a little Brighton. Great as we were able to stay with our four dogs. Little court yard out back with parking to rear. The bed was so comfy. A really special find!

The interior of the flat is great and has everything you could need. The location is ideal The garden needs a serious tidy up and the exterior wheelie bins were overflowing which was a shame and why my rating was 4 not 5.

This was our very first time using Airbnb so was not too sure what to expect or how everything would go but we need not have worried, thanks to host and stay all ran smoothly, where we stayed was just what was required, anytime we communicated with them their response was immediate. The place was just right for us with all that we needed for a short break, in an ideal place just yards from the beach and some fantastic scenery, restaurants and even Sainsbury’s right on our doorstep, all I can say is thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pearl street, the kitchen was well equipped, the place was spotless inside. The back yard could do with weeding, would be a lovely space to sit in, otherwise everything else was spot on.

Beautiful apartment in a perfect location. parking is available outside on the street and is a short walk from the cliff tops. Having the back yard was a massive benefit with a small dog.

Number 9 Pearl Street was lovely, well placed and very easily accessed. The only let down was the general untidiness of the rear yard. We felt that, with an afternoon’s worth of work and cleaning, it would have merited the same five stars as the rest of the accommodation. Overall, that will not put us off returning to 9 Pearl Street.

Loved this flat. Perfect for 1 or 2 people. Huge kitchen and has everything you need. I ended up staying over 2 months and if I need to go to Middlesbrough again I’ll stay here

my stay on pearl street was excellent. the apartment exceeded my expectations. Having a dishwasher and gas central heating was a big plus for me. The area is quiet and parking was easy on street

Fabulous apartment for two people and a dog too, brilliant location. Great kitchen and lovely rainfall shower. Small back yard for the dog with a gate which can be kept shut for the pet. We did have an odd incident where the gate had been propped open whithout us realising and the dog escaping. All was ok but we were confused as to how it had been unbolted and left open. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

A peaceful few days away ruined by Host and Stay - never again. I thought it was odd that on arrival to Saltburn, I still hadn’t received the key lock details… so as we sit there locked out of the accommodation having lunch I call Host and Stay. They tell me I haven’t paid for insurance and won’t get the key to the proper until I do.. sorry what? Apparently hidden in the listing is something about needing accidental damage cover, payable by the guest! No mention when paying the bill in full. We were quoted £25 insurance for our 3 night stay, or alternatively pay a bond of £250 which you might get back 2 weeks later if there’s no damage, minus a £10 admin charge. Scandalous. The accommodation was OK, lacking a number of basic amenities..only one toilet roll, a handful of shower gel, a wobbly toilet seat and a bedroom window that won’t open as there is no key - it was very hot! The house is split into two apartments and being on the ground floor it was loud and paper thin walls.

Fantastic location. We used this spot as a base to travel up the coast to Newcastle. The house is so close to the beach and all amenities. It is very well presented and clean. We loved it. Would highly recommend

Worst stocked air bnb I’ve stayed in. No fairy liquid, or any cleaning products other than on dishwasher tablet. So we couldn’t properly clean up after ourselves which seems counter intuitive. Two tea bags left and no coffee. Milk sachets left l, some which were out of date. If you stay prepare to be mithered by messages by host and stay. However, good location and spotlessly clean. Was just expensive for what you got.

The flat is very spacious and recently refurbished throughout. All the furniture is new and of good quality. The kitchen is large and has all new kitchen units. The flat's location is excellent with Marine Parade at one end of the street and Milton Street with its restaurants and bars at the other. The off-street parking is a bonus in Saltburn. Wish we were able to stay for more days at this property. Maybe next time! Please note that Host & Stay have a policy of charging you a £25 damage insurance or taking a deposit which is refunded sometime after departure (who knows when). The deposit is returned MINUS a £10 'admin fee'. This insurance is described against the property but NOT referenced in the price breakdown contrary to AirBNB's terms. So the price you pay will be +£10 or +£25.

Very comfortable stay in a good location. Used street parking as parking at rear would have been a bit tricky as all the bins were out in the access lane. We had everything we needed, supermarket was close by and everything we wanted was walkable
