Lovely cottage in a peaceful location, close to nearby towns with plenty to do. Check in was made really easy by the hosts who sent very detailed messages about how to get into the property. The cottage was really pretty with lots of decorative touches and was very cosy. Would 100% recommend :)

We have just returned from a lovely stay at the Snug. Spotless clean home with everything you need. Beds were comfy and the owners have made good use of the space inside the property. We took our two teenage grandsons and there was plenty of space for us all, although the dining table is very small,but adequate if you decide to eat in some nights. The swan pub served good food which is an easy few mins walk away. The Snug is centrally placed so it’s good for getting out and about visiting places like Filey, Scarborough and Whitby. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend. Great communication with Host & Stay

We had a great stay. The cottage is finished to a really high standard throughout and had everything we needed. The location is great with various shops and takeaways just a couple of minutes walk away. This was a great base for exploring the area and is just a short drive from Filey, Bridlington and lots of other lovely coastal areas

We have just come back from a fantastic stay at the snug. It was a real home from home experience in a beautiful home. Very clean, tidy and well maintained. Easy to find great communication from host. I would definitely recommend this stay x

We stayed here as a group of 4 friends, and we had a wonderful time. We felt like we could just live here! Loved all the little bits and pieces around the house. Beds were really comfy and bed linen good quality. Had everything we needed and were close to the lovely Hunamby Gap Beach.

First time using Host & Stay and very impressed with the communication and the app for the property was great. Pros: We found 'The Snug' was a convenient location to see the Puffins at RSPB Bempton Cliffs. The property has a very arty vibe, with some very nice pieces of artwork. The kitchen is very well equipped, the best I've seen in a holiday rental. Heating very easy to use. A comfortable stay. Cons: I found it was difficult to turn the thermostatic control on the shower bar and maintain a constant heat of the water. I liked the art but for me there was too much extra clutter in the way of knick-knacks everywhere

Beautiful property with everything you could want during your stay. However check in wasn't a good experience. The gate code given was incorrect so the early check in charge I had paid was a waste of money. The host was very slow to respond with the correct code.

Lovely stay at The Snug, Hunmanby. Ideal property for up to 4 people with everything & more you could need in a property for a 4-day air B N B stay. Gated parking great. Kids appreciated games, fans for the bedroom, location close to loads of lovely beaches. highly recommended.

Centrally located with a variety of amenities with nice beaches nearby. Secure off-road parking was essential in this busy village although, the snug is the furthest property away from the allocated bay. So expect a walk with your luggage. Once inside the property was well equipped (almost too much for its size) which made it feel cluttered in some areas. Nicely decorated throughout with a comfy bed and a quirky nautical theme. The fire is not real but electric. Earlier check in is available at an extra cost. Access to the property is via an electronic door handle not a lock box & key. If you are arriving in the dark you may require a torch to see the numbers as the keypad is quite faint. If you don’t like the smell then the chain smoking neighbour may spoil your stay. Overall we had a relaxing stay visiting family nearby.

The accommodation was really good & nice touches with soap & hand lotion provided in downstairs toilet, shampoo & lovely scented body wash in bathroom. We enjoyed our stay very much & would highly recommend. Thank you for a lovely couple of nights away for weekend.

The Snug was exactly as described … immaculately clean, kitchen well equipped, beautiful linen and towels. Excellent communication from the outset from the host. Fantastic location with gated secure parking. The Snug was cosy , warm with quality furniture and equipment. Easy to get to Filey, Scarborough and the village of Humanby itself has so much to offer with pubs, a CoOP in close walking distance. Definitely worth a visit and will look to visit again.

Lovely, artistic cottage in a gated community in centre of Hunmanby. Beautifully decorated throughout and lots of interesting artwork. Comfortable, well stocked with kitchen essentials. Easy reach of coastal areas by car or bus which runs through the village. Several village pubs, coop around the corner and other shops. The Piebald Inn was a short walk away, 52 varieties of pie. Lovely, quiet and comfortable stay. Would stay again and recommend.

The Snug is a pretty little property, in a gated courtyard. The property is modern and very well equipped, well decorated and cosy. The location is ideal for visits to Bridlington and Scarborough while only walking distance to the centre of Filey. We enjoyed the privacy of the walled garden which was a little suntrap. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Really enjoyed our stay with 6 years old granddaughter who loved her bedroom and all extra touches. Nespresso machine a bonus. Property and outside area very clean and appreciated secure area to leave our car. Wouldn't hesitate recommending to friends and family. Very likely we will return.

Loved staying at The Snug- what a beautiful cottage with a nautical theme. Such great taste in decor; light,airy and extremely clean. Every attention to detail to create a home- from- home feel. we had a great stay at the Snug. the cottage was very clean, well equipped and in a lovely quiet private close. the instructions to access the cottage were very clear and also there were lots of local recommendations. We enjoyed having a few places for food and walks in hunmanby, as well as being a short drive away from most places.

A perfect home from home on the east coast. The property has been lovingly and thoughtfully decorated and equipped with everything you might need for your stay. The aptly named Snug feels cosy and the perfect place to settle down after a day out adventuring. We were struck by the central location within the village of Hunmanby, making all amenities less than a 5 minute walk away. Added to all the east coast destinations within driving distance, it really is the perfect location. The gated car park instantly makes you feel safe and secure upon arrival and the small development of houses are well maintained with flower beds leading up to the property. The house itself is warm & cosy, decorated with tastefully and thoughtfully. A real ‘home from home’. We particularly love the outdoor area which has been planted with a nautical theme and the Juliette balcony in the twin room framed by the most fabulous curtains! 10/10, would definitely recommend!

The cottage was clean, comfortable, peaceful and well equipped. All the equipment worked well and the quality of the fittings and personal touches were great. The allocated parking was a big plus. We would happily stay again.

The accommodation was excellent in every way. Unfortunately the gate code issued to us to access the property was incorrect. If it wasn’t for a good natured neighbour who kindly gave us the correct code we couldn’t have got in because the host & stay team, who finally responded to a number of calls from me, were frankly no use ( even emailing me the same incorrect code) a day later. I Would definitely recommend the property however the access problem needs to be sorted out
