This is a lovely well appointed apartment in easy walking distance of the town centre. The views are amazing from the apartment. The two bedrooms are of a very good size and very comfortable. The apartment was clean and tidy.

Really nice comfortable apartment. 15mins walk into whitby which isnt too far for us. Have stayed in the apartment block next door a few years ago so knew the location already. Beautiful view of the harbour and abbey out the windows.

We had a great stay, flat was in the perfect location for being so close to the centre. Everywhere was walkable, very modern feel inside. Would 100% recommend and stay again.

The worst air bnb experience I've ever had.Had to leave early at 7.15am as it was freezing cold and couldn't sleep. Instructions on heating are wrong, you can't put the heating on as its on a timer, and the timer is firmly behind a huge padlock. Just charge more rather than make guests stay miserable, when complained got answers that just repeated incorrect instructions. Also the doors to the property are a putty colour not blue. Avoid this property during colder months, unless you enjoy camping, but bring your thermals. Bathroom and kitchen need a serious upgrade as well, bedrooms nice but style over substance. A shame as view and location good just couldn't physically stand the cold brrrr. I won't be back only did 1 night.

Great place to stay and enjoy Whitby. The view was spectacular, with the windows overlooking the harbour and a clear shot of the Abbey. Walk into the town centre was about 10-25 min walk to town centre. Spacious and clean apartment with comfy beds and very responsive hosts. We would stay here again.

Location perfect, easy walking distance to the centre but very quiet with fantastic views from every room. Private underground parking. Lift. Dog friendly. Light, bright and spacious. Very comfy beds. Kitchen had everything you needed. We would definitely come back and recommend to friends and family.

Amazing location with a brief walk into Whitby harbour itself but far enough that it was peaceful and the parking was a great addition. Amazing views and charming flat with nice bench seating and telescope. We had great views of the fireworks, harbour and the abbey and crabbing spot away from the crowds! The flat was spacious and decorated well with vast amounts of space for our family of 4.

We had a great stay at the apartment within walking distance of the attractions of Whitby. The apartment was exactly as the photos. The views were great, the grounds were equipped with benches giving us the opportunity to sit outdoors . Great place in a great location

We really enjoyed our stay at Starboard Bow. The views over the harbour with the town and the Abbey behind are great. The flat was plenty spacious enough for a family with two young children and had everything we needed and thankfully there was a lift to get up and down to the third floor. Dedicated parking spot and ten minutes walk to town, highly recommended.

The location of the apartment is beautiful and just a short walk away from the central area of Whitby. The beds are very comfortable with amazing views of the abbey and surrounding areas. The host was very communicative and friendly. Perfect for those travelling by car as there is a private parking space.

Great private location and property just a short walk to the town center. Loved that they were dog friendly. Included parking for one car which was perfect. It was quiet. Well appointed. Looked like the pictures. We had a lovely stay and would return when we need two bedrooms.

We booked this apartment the day before we travelled and the communication from Dale and Charlie was brilliant with great instructions etc. Great apartment which is located in a lovely quiet area and within easy walking distance of Whitby’s shops, restaurants and attractions. It comes with a safe, secure parking which is a bonus. The apartment is well-equipped and the decor is really well done. It has the bonus of fabulous views of Whitby harbour and Whitby Abbey with a nice walk along the river estuary. As others have mentioned would have liked a bit of control over the heating as it comes on at set times and temperature that can’t be changed. This said the apartment was never over cold when it was a bit fresh outside. A great short stay and would definitely stay again.

Beautiful apartment in an excellent location. Very clean and tidy. There were a couple of negatives however. Given the price paid and the £50 cleaning fee (which I think is massively excessive) you would expect full access to the whole apartment, however, there appears to be a second bedroom behind a locked door which would have been very useful during our stay and should easily be covered by the cleaning fee. A compulsory £20 indemnity insurance also leaves a sour taste.

Ok. Everything that others have put about location veiws, everything needed for a great few nights in Whitby including a secure ample car parking space. First class. I saw that others had mentioned the heating problems so I ask about it before travelling, only to be fobbed off. We got there at 4:30 as arranged. It was easy to get the living cosy but because of the short length of time the hall and bedroom electric heaters were set up to be on , these spaces were flipping cold. The towel rail in the bathroom was either off or scalding hot. The instructions regarding 2 large thermostats is out of date ( there are none). I've only put this moan regarding the heating as I was ignored when I brought it to the agents attention. It truly is a fabulous place. Thanks very much.

Great stay fantastic views, short walk to Whitby town. Brilliant location views to die for! Well thought out lift was a god send. Only issue was heating very cold at night sat with hats on! not able to control it ! Had a lovely memorable stay❤️

We had a very enjoyable stay in this property which is cosy and well located. It isn’t quite perfect, slight negatives being, a feeble shower; heating which is only just adequate and may really struggle if there are strong north easterly winds; and a blind in the bedroom which lets in too much light. However, these didn’t spoil our stay as the views are wonderful and the apartment is well equipped and very clean. We would stay there again despite the irritation caused by Host & Stay insisting that we either paid £25 for accidental damage cover or leave a £250 deposit which incurs a £10 ‘admin charge’. AirBNB have a damage reimbursement procedure so this policy just feels like a way for the management company to squeeze a little more out of guests. Their staff were, however, very polite and attentive.

Very nice modern apartment in a good and convenient location for all amenities. The apartment is situated on the third floor with dual aspect views of the estuary and you also get a lovely view of the Abbey. There is an allocated private secure parking bay on the ground floor, which is included with the property and is a real advantage in Whitby… The apartment was clean and comfortable and had everything required for your stay. We also found the bed was super comfortable and ensured a good night’s sleep.. The only negative was the electric heating which struggled to keep the apartment at a comfortable temperature and was especially hostile on arrival and first thing in the morning. The radiators were locked at set temperatures and times so unable to adjust, however the electric fire/fan heater compensated! This wouldn’t be a problem in the summer months and definitely wouldn’t deter us from returning to the property. Overall we had a lovely stay at Starboard Bow and highly recommend!

Nice place in good location. Good secure car parking. Great views of Abbey and port from lounge. Shame about the heating which was undersized for the size of apartment and no facility to “advance” timer, as it didn’t come on until 8.00am. Shower over bath could be better quality. Otherwise, thoroughly enjoyed our short pre Christmas break.

The accommodation was very cosy, clean, and had fantastic views of Whitby Harbour. Whitby was only a 10 minute walk away. We particularly liked it had its own private secure parking under the flats complex with a lift available to reach your accommodation.

This flat has the most fantastic panoramic views but there the great review ends overwhelming smell of bleach in flat. Could not use shower as broken. Kitchen sink was leaking underneath in to cupboard. Very limited kitchen utensils. Seaside themed interior was tacky and over done also one day of no hot water in flat. overall needs abit of attention.

Fantastic accommodation with amazing views of the Abbey and Harbour from both the Livingroom and Bedroom windows. Brilliant location only 10-15 minute walk to the centre of town. The accommodation has its own secured parking space underneath the flats which was a bonus. Would definitely recommend the accommodation and would hopefully visit again in the near future.

Be prepared to be bowled over. This is a stunning property with excellent, secure parking included. Situated on 3rd (Top) floor but no issues with the lift to/from. Then we entered and WOW! Fantastic property. Open plan kitchen and living room area. Ideal for two people. Excellent views over the tidal river & up to the Abbey & Church. Bedroom was also very comfortable - just allow time to remove all the pillows first!!!! Overall a 10/10 property and will definitely book again in the future!

What a super apartment. Clean, tidy, completely as described with fantastic views over the harbour and the Abbey. Great value and a fabulous location. We loved our 4 day stay there.
