The apartment itself is immaculate — beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything you could need for cooking or relaxing. The location is perfect for exploring Whitby and everything is within easy walking distance. Charlie was an excellent host. She replies incredibly quickly (usually within minutes) and was very proactive and helpful whenever we contacted her. She genuinely went out of her way to try and resolve anything we raised and even offered to reimburse alternative parking when we realised the scratch cards provided didn’t cover our full stay, which was very kind. We may have just been a little unlucky as we experienced a couple of minor issues during our stay, including some noise from the boiler on the first night and the hot water being inconsistent at times - but they are working to resolve this now. Overall though, this is a beautiful apartment in a fantastic location with a very attentive host. We’d happily recommend it to others.

Comfortable and clean accommodation. Well situated for shops and places to eat and attractions. Managed to park outside near to accommodation using the vouchers supplied by the host. Only problem if went out using the car was sometimes difficult to find a space near the accommodation when returning. All in all enjoyed our few days at Silver Beach.

A wonderful place to stay when coming to Whitby! Restaurants, bars, bakeries and shops right at your front door which was great, the on street parking was so handy to have! We recommend the Passage to India restaurant to anyone staying too, we stumbled across whilst looking through leaflets that the hosts had left, it was amazing! The hosts were always on hand to help, very quick and responsive! Will definitely stay again when visiting Whitby 😊

Lovely stay at this charming Whitby property! The space was very clean, comfortable, and dog-friendly, which was perfect for us. It’s just a 5-minute walk to the town, with plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby. Communication with the host was easy and smooth, and we were left a parking pass so we could park in the zone without any hassle. Overall, a delightful stay that we would happily return to. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Whitby, especially with pets!

Perfect little stay close to the heart of Whitby, a short walk to the centre and right near a row of shops/pubs/restaurants. Would highly recommend to any couple visiting Whitby, especially with your furry friend! On street parking was excellent using the probided parking scratch card! Property was very clean and modern! Cosy apartment close to everything you need in Whitby. Lovely bakery near by and plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Comfy bed and couch. Toilet wasn’t clean when we arrived and the shower heads and tiles could have been cleaner but overall we were happy with the apartment and would come again. Apartment is on a very busy street. Managed to get parked ok however unfortunately our car was scraped by another car which definitely put a dampener on the trip.

Had a great stay at silver beach, easy to find and within 5 minute walk into Whitby which we found was a lovely, relaxing place to walk around. The accommodation was clean and tidy with everything we needed. We had slight issue trying to find a parking space on the road but luckily while I was searching a space became free right outside so was all good in the end. The host was great, providing us with adequate details for our stay. We will definitely be visiting Whitby again in the near future.

Wonderful weekend at Silver Beach. Host was very responsive providing a link to instructions regarding parking, local area etc. The apartment itself was clean, tidy, well kept and felt very homely. Very quiet and peaceful. Comes complete with dish washer, oven and hob but we didn't use these facilities so cannot comment and also cannot comment on the TV as we were out most of the time and didn't switch it on. The only potential pitfall is the parking as it can be a bit hit and miss if you get a space in the designated area available for free parking. This isn't a reflection on the host or the property though as every other property in the area also have the same issue. It certainly wouldn't stop us from staying here again, it's just something to be mindful of.

Our stay overall was good, there were some stains on the hand towel which I informed the host about, there were also some stains on the sofa cushions. Other than that the place seemed clean and tidy, had everything you need. Although would have appreciated more than 1 roll of toilet roll left. Location was fab, 2 minutes walk from the beach and west cliff area, and about 10 minute walk to the main town centre, restaurant etc. We got a parking scratch card allowing us to park for free in the W zones, however we weren't always able to make use of this due to lack of spaces, it was extremely busy and parking was very difficult, in order to unpack and pack the car we had to put hazards on in the middle of the road, not the host's fault - just a heads up for other travellers. The property itself had nice neutral decor, bed was comfortable and entry was wasy. We appreciated it being dog friendly also.

Only 5 min walk to the beach and about 10 min walk into the shops/bars etc. The place was clean and tidy and the bed was super comfy! We did have to buy more toilet roll as we're only provided with 1 roll. But would defo stay again!

The property is in a good location and is well presented. However parking is a big issue. We were promised upon arrival that we would be provided with a scratch card car park permit. However this was not made available to use. For a 2 night stay we had to park on a 24 hour public car park a considerable walk away from the property resulting in car park fees of £27.10. Given that my wife has mobility issues the situation wasn't satisfactory.

We stayed at Silver Beach early May 2025 for 5 days and had a wonderful time. The flat was clean, comfy and had everything we needed. Bed was very comfy and the flat was nicely furnished. Great location & very quiet. Town, beach etc. all very close, some fab places to eat & drink nearby. Parking can be a challenge at weekends, but we always found a space within good distance and the parking tickets provided were a great help. Can certainly recommend Silver Beach and would definitely stay again.

Great place. Easy check in and good accommodation/recommendation guide. Kitchen is well stocked for preparing meals with all the utensils you could need as well as cleaning products - makes it easy to use from the start. Parking is straightforward with the provided permits and was easy to find a spot on the street outside. Easy 5 min walk down to Whitby harbour side. Would return again

Silver beach is a comfortable and stylish apartment well situated in charming Whitby. The apartment has a good sized lounge room and bedroom which is very quiet but only minutes walk to the quaint shops and bustling seaside downtown one way and the stunning seaside cliff walk the other.

We had a lovely few days with just. 5 min walk to the beach and local shops. Upon arrival parking was challenging but we ended up parked at the door. Be careful with the scratch cards, we inadvertently put the blank card in the window and the completed one in our bag, so sadly we got a parking ticket, so be careful! We had a minor boiler issue, I used the app to reach out early next morning and it was sorted very promptly by breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and all basics provided. If you turn left out of the apartment, left at the junction towards the sea, there is a very nice coffee booth, its open 9am-9pm the coffee is great and we watched the sun go down with a hot chocolate one evening which was lovely. Rusty Shears was a great breakfast and warm welcome. We would recommend this accommodation.

Great location to explore Whitby. We found the on street parking to be easy when parking in a W zone. The accommodation could do with a quality and maintenance check before guests arrive. The shower fitting is loose, towel warmer missing a silver cover, T-bag jar was empty (take your own tea bags), window catches not closed properly on arrival. The overall cleanliness was okay, but the apartment had a strong smell of chemicals when we arrived and we had to open all of the windows. We never received the online check in form prior to our arrival and I did chase several times to be told that it would be sent out.

I stayed with my partner at Dale's apartment, Silver Beach in Whitby. I know Whitby very well and the first thing to impress me was the location of the apartment. It's a 5 minute walk to the North beach and perfect for exercising the dog in the morning (you need to go to the far left end during the Summer months). Heading into town is also a 5 minute walk where there are great pubs and restaurants. The apartment itself is spotlessly clean and very modern. It has all the facilities that you need and we managed to get an on street parking spot right outside the apartment. I would highly recommend Silver Beach and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Silver Beaches is a cracking little flat in Whitby. Much bigger than we expected. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Comfy beds and a great shower. The apartment was very easy to find and we found the instructions to gain access very clear and easy to understand. It was extremely clean and tidy, with all the equipment in good condition. We felt at home and enjoyed our stay. There is street parking but you will need a parking disc for this. We used Westcliff Pay and Display which is £ 10.80 for 24 hours. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely recommend to others.

Cannot complain too much. For the price, the accommodation was modern, clean and looked beautiful. Parking was free but a bit of a nightmare to find any close by as it was very busy on the street parking. The main sting in this stay was that we were told a washing and drying machine was available. Upon arrival, it was made apparent that this was no where to be seen. This was very disappointing for us as we had our three month old baby with us, who produces a lot of washing! I therefore had to spend one morning of our holiday hand washing items. Even worse, these items did not dry for three days (as we did not have a drying machine) so we had to take more time out of our holiday to individually dry the baby's clothes with a hair dryer! Unfortunately, a case of being over promised something and underdelivered.

We had a lovely stay here for a few days for our honeymoon! The apartment was pristinely clean, very modern, spacious and private. We were sent an extremely useful guide via email before our stay with all the check-in instructions and information; it even had recommendations for local places to eat, sights to see etc which was brilliant. Location was perfect, it’s just around the corner from the whale bones up on the west cliff, and a short walk down to the town centre (be prepared for hills, though that’s unavoidable in Whitby!) There was even a jigsaw by the tv which kept us occupied for hours when the weather was terrible. Many thanks for our wonderful stay here :)

Except paying additional cleaning fees and booking fees, I also need to pay a mandatory insurance fee. Otherwise I can't get the check-in information. no washing machine, no charging socket for electric toothbrushes, and the staff seems not familiar with what was in the room. I’M not allowed to leave my luggage in any area outside the room after checking out. this is the only one that doesn’t  provide any support for luggage placement after checking out. My return ticket was at 13:00, the check-out time was 10:00, so I had to wait outside for 3 hours with my heavy luggage.

Even if it was booked at the last minute and after a rather long journey, when we arrived it was as if we were at home but in a different scenario. Everything arranged down to the last detail, from umbrellas prepared for unforeseen weather to blankets for dogs , makes the place welcoming and relaxing, you just have to take care of organising your days out( all the touristic attentions are close to this beautiful accommodation) . An extraordinary host ready to help you with any concerns you may have. An unforgettable experience and one that will remain unique in its own way until the next time we return. Great location - equidistant from the beach and the town, both a quick and easy walk. Very clean, comfortable and homely apartment with everything we needed for our short break. Parking could possibly be an issue in high season, but the provision of a parking permit is a definite bonus.

Wonderful stay! Home from home. Would come back. But I did almost cancel the booking when we later received an email asking for a ‘security deposit’ of £250 which they’d hold and then take a £10 admin fee from or you pay £25 ‘insurance for accidental damage’. I’ve never had that before with an Air BnB and found it pretty outrageous. It is in the description of the property but it’s pretty far down.

This property is well located for access to the beach and Whitby town harbour and town centre with lots of activities to enjoy. The apartment was as described and felt both clean and fresh. It proved to be very comfortable and was just a short walk from the town centre. A hiccup with the parking permits was addressed via the telephone help line and was satisfactorily resolved. Whitby had plenty to offer and it was great to have accommodation within walking distance of town. I would be very happy to return for a future visit.

Stunning property, with all the amenities needed for a vacation. Upon arrival, easy self check in, immaculately spotless (big thank you to Wendy for her housekeeping. she did a fabulous job) The apartment was perfectly furnished with everything needed for our stay, loved the little touches like the dog blankets, umbrellas in the basket and the Nespresso machine. Although we never cooked in the apartment it was well kitted with everything needed for self catering. We had a really great sleep every night, It was a very quiet area and the bed was really comfortable with fresh clean linen. Fresh clean towels, very clean and modern bathroom with a great shower experience. Top this great apartment off in an awesome seaside town set in an area of outstanding beauty puts it in my top 5 list of places to stay. Will definitely book again with Host & Stay and look forward to staying with them again. Thank you for a perfect stay.
