The space
With original beams and wood panelling, the living area has a cosy cottage feel. Featuring a statement, sandstone brick fireplace and comfy seating, it’s the perfect place to relax after a busy day exploring the area.The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and cookware so you can make the most of your self-catering break. Ideal for socialising, the dining area shares this space where you can enjoy meals with your loved ones.
Take the stairs up to the first floor and you’ll find four bedrooms. The master bedroom has a feature wall of patterned wallpaper, a comfy double bed and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, bathtub, WC and basin. The second room has another double bed and you’ll find a single in each of the remaining bedrooms.
Head to the family bathroom and you’ll find a traditional look. Here you’ll find a bath, shower, WC and basin.
Guest access
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.There is free on site parking for up to four vehicles.

The house is lovely, and spacious though it was missing quite a lot of useful items, and felt it was more set up for adult groups than those with children. Items such as kitchen scissors or nice sized glasses were missing, and the description states there are sundries such as salt and pepper provided but they weren’t, and only tail ends of toilet paper left, even though again they said were provided. The kettle was faulty causing scalds to myself and my husband but it was changes quickly when this was raised. The lounge is very cosy with lovely log burner. It was really hard to find in the dark and instructions are limited though they give a phone number of someone who will help as much as they can, which didn’t instil the greatest confidence! We got there in the end though.

The cottage was perfect for a cosy weekend away, the house feels very homely. The fire is a real treat and logs were provided! Hosts were super communicative before. Lots of nice walks nearby. The only thing that would make this a 5* is if a few basics were provided (tea, coffee, dishwasher tablets, toilet roll) but other than that our stay was perfect.

For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.
