Ideal for self-catering stays, Thamesview has a fully equipped kitchen. Amenities include an oven, hob, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and washing machine. Tea, coffee and biscuits are also provided as part of a welcome pack.
Modern and clean, the bathroom features a bath with an overhead shower, WC and basin.

The location was perfect, ground floor was good and enough space for my dog to be able to relax comfortably
The pillows on the bed were flat and hard. The freezer was iced up so much that the door couldn't be shut. I did defrost it which took 24hrs and the door to it still didn't shut which is really frustrating

Thamesview has a well-appointed kitchen and bathroom, with a comfortable, modern studio bedroom/lounge. Our hosts communicated clearly and often during our stay with helpful hints about the area.
Staines Rail Station is 10 minutes walk away with links to central London or Windsor. The property is located by a railway line and main road. However, night traffic is minimal, so we were largely undisturbed by noise.
Thamesview faces west so warmed very quickly in the day, but heating controls were also clear, although unneeded. Broadband was clearly signposted, as was the Smart TV. The kitchen/bathroom equipment, e.g., crockery was tidy and clean. It ticked all our boxes, so we will certainly consider it again.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks when we first moved to the UK while we looked for a place to live. This flat is well-located and very walkable. When we needed to extend our stay by a few days when our move-in date to our new apartment didn’t line up with our check-out, the property management company that hosts this place was very accommodating and responsive.
A few areas of improvement -
* The furniture is uncomfortable, especially the bed & the sofa.
* There is a washing machine, but no laundry detergent so you’ll have to buy your own.
* For our 2 week stay, we were provided with 2 toilet rolls so again, we had to buy more on our own.
* The knob for cold water in the kitchen was wobbly. We said it was fine for our stay, but just in case it isn’t fixed in the future.
Overall, it was a good home base to start our journey in the UK. It was by far the most affordable long-term AirBnb we looked at, but you do get what you pay for in terms of amenities.
