The plumbing in the bathroom,the water from the taps of the sink don't always come on especially if you've flushed the toilet.

The property was very spacious, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. It would be improved by the addition of a dishwasher and it is a shame there is not an en-suite or a separate loo.

The kitchen cupboards were full of assorted equipment which didn’t seem very clean (understandably, it is not possible to check and clean everything) but there was only one scratched frying pan and a wok and no ovenproof dishes (e.g. Pyrex/ casserole).
The admin at Host and Stay were very poor - questions asked were never answered and the key code did not arrive when promised and had to be chased.

it's was close to town centre
and the view of the harbour was amazing

Well on arrival there was damage so I took photos. and sent them straight away. just to cover myself .
because I didn't want to get blamed for something what was there on arrival but only response I got was all damaged should be reported. and paid for.
but they was there on arrival .
no proper response. obviously they knew they was there because they told me a deep clean is done as soon as someone leaves .

There was everything you needed, it's exactly as the photo's show, extremely clean, settee very comfortable (I have a bad back)mattress on beds high quality, lovely views of the harbour.
Would highly recommend.

Beautiful apartment in a great location. Communication with the hosts was great, they were on hand to answer any questions.
The apartment is bigger than we expected and very clean. The kitchen was kitted out with all cooking appliances. Beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows.
WiFi was great and the added bonus of free parking was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

What a beautiful apartment! We loved everything about it, location - max 10 min lovely walk to the centre, gorgeous home from home apartment, comfortable beds, gorgeous views onto the harbour with amazing sunset, lovely playground which the kids loved! Everything you would need was provided, really spacious too! Will definitely stay again, Lisa was particularly helpful & kind. Thank you x

Great space and lots of little things like umbrellas by the door, board games, cds, dvds etc there incase you needed and some milk in the fridge. 5 minute walk into the main area of whitby centre

Clean and fresh apartment
Nice to have a car park space
Nice to have tea bags, coffee, bin bags, tin foil etc

Shower pressure is awful, took ages to have a shower
Cold water tap in bathroom had same issue, had to really turn it to work
Damage waiver, didn’t like the admin fee being deducted. Feels a bit like you’re taking an additional admin fee on each guest that books with you.

Loved everything about the place! ...it was clean, comfortable and had everything you would need...a real home from home...very nicely furnished too. Also the person dealing with the property and any questions, was really good with keeping in touch. Will definitely rebook ..totally recommend!

The room is nice and clean, have facilities for a family short stay. Heater in each room is definitely good, overall we are happy for the stay.

Its bit confuse during check in, hard to locate the exact building (there are many hostage in the same estate using the same keylock box), will be good if the host can provide more details. Also, an admin fee will charges for deposit (we choose £300 and get back £290) which is not clearly shown in booking.com

Could do with some bigger towels as we're not big,but after shower the certainly don't go around you.Also not happy it takes up to 14 days to get deposit back

Really well presented with great facilities and in a superb location. Lovely comfortable bed and the place had an up to date feel.

The toilet seat was a little clunky and kept falling down, took us a while to figure out how to turn the shower on!

The open plan layout and the lovely view. A private car parking space was a bonus. It was also nice to find supplies for Beverages on our arrival and little extras touches e.g. books,games and films.

We couldn't find anything to dislike apart from the unusually cold and damp June weather. Still we came prepared with our wet weather gear.

Dedicated parking space was nice. I like the individual heating in the various rooms. It saves electricity. Water pressure was good and hot consistently. Well equipped kitchen; the first place to offer an air fryer (that's top notch!)

The flight of steps but it wasn't too steep, so ok. No clocks in the house. The non-refundable £25 for damage waiver before the stay; it was a shame.

The fact you didn’t know before booking about the £10 admin charge for security deposit with Host and Stay, on booking.com it said all security deposit would be returned! I feel this is a scam, for every property host and stay rent, if they are rented twice a week you will make £1000. You should advertise this then people can make their own mind up whether to book or not.

The apartment was well equipped and came with a pint of milk, condiments, washing up liquid, plenty of loo rolls, crabbing equipment for us to borrow, dvds and games to play.

The bathroom could perhaps do with a little modernisation but was fine.

Fabulous location overlooking harbour yet far enough from town to be quiet. Easy walk to town. Very smart, clean and comfortable flat.

Nothing to dislike. I would advise a leaflet on how to use the microwave and perhaps a couple of door stops but these are only trivial and didn’t spoil our stay.

A very clean and well equipped apartment. Quite roomy with a lovely view over estuary. Very well placed for all amenities and only a few minutes from centre of Whitby. Would definitely go again.

The layout was perfect for my elderly parents, especially with the lift and a great view while sitting on the sofa or by the window.

Maybe a dishwasher would be useful if I was staying with more people. Apart from that there was nothing not to like 😁

A comfortable home from home with fabulous views over the harbour. Quiet area with private parking . A short walk to the shops , restaurants , pubs and beach.

The washer-drier. The drying side of it did not work. At the start of the drying cycle the drum span for a couple of minutes then stopped and nothing else happened

WARNING - read the small print carefully. We stayed for 3 nights and on top of the price per night there was a £60 cleaning fee and then a “choice” of either a £250 deposit of which only a max of £240 would be returned, or a £25 accident waiver insurance. This seemed ridiculous to me, and would have cancelled but the cancellation policy is so strict that we would have lost all the money we had paid for the booking and cleaning, so felt had no choice but to pay for the £25 waiver as did not trust that a company with such strict rules would actually return the larger deposit.

Having said all that, I’m really glad that we went ahead as the apartment is really lovely - we were very comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped and it was really clean and a lovely size. The location is good, with lovely view.
Would have given this 5 stars for the accommodation but have given 4 stars for what felt like excessive additional charges on top of the price per night, and “admin fee” for deposit.

Had a great weekend hear.
Bed and bedding was very comfy, lovely and quiet during the night.
Kitchen was well equipped with everything needed.
Great location less than 10min walk into the centre, plenty of restaurants and bars close by.
We enjoyed a walk up to the Abbey when it was dark, views where Awesome.

Would definitely come back !!!

This is a great place to stay. The apartment is beautiful. view over the river is wonderful. The town is an easy 10 minute walk. Plenty of bars and restaurants. Also, lots of walking and cycling routes nearby. Would definitely stay here again.
