You’ll have full access to the townhouse during your stay which includes a cosy living area and open plan kitchen diner so it’s ideal for those looking for a self-contained, self-catering getaway.
The space
Princess Place Townhouse is a relaxing home from home in the centre of Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast. The perfect spot to unwind with your loved ones, the living area has a comfy sofa, flat screen TV and log burner. You’ll have everything you could need to prepare meals during your stay as the kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and cookware. Sharing the open plan space is the dining area which includes a light wood table and white chairs.

Upstairs on the first floor, you’ll find the first two bedrooms in the property and a shower room. Both bedrooms have a tranquil feel with neutral colour schemes and soft furnishings. The first bedroom features a king size bed and the second is a double.

Take the stairs to the second floor and you’ll find the final bedroom along with the bathroom. Ideal for families, the super king bed can be enjoyed as one bed or split into two singles. The bathroom on this floor features sloped ceilings, a skylight window and freestanding bathtub.

Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

There is on street, private parking outside of the house on a first come, first served basis.

We had a lovely stay over New Year at the cottage at 4 Princess Place. Wonderfully located close to all amenities and attractions of Whitby. A nice, clean, decently equipped property with ample shared space in the kitchen and lounge. Good to see that the property management have listened to previous guest feedback, as dishwasher tablets, spare toilet paper, tea, coffee and biscuits were provided. All very welcome. Parking can be a challenge for sure, as other occupants of the cottages on the same row ignore the reserved space sign. The only major gripe was that some kind soul of a previous guest had taken a shine to the bath plug and taken it as a memento of their stay, so we couldn’t use the bath on Day 1. Reporting this via the Airbnb chat was a pointless and annoying exchange with a polite, but ultimately unhelpful, chatbot. We ended up taking time to go and buy a replacement ourselves. With hindsight we should have phoned the owners ourselves (numbers are in the house manual).

Central location in Whitby. Parking outside, we had 2 cars with no issues getting a space. Th house was clean and homely. The bedrooms were all large and the space was great for us (4 adults, 2 kids). The house was pet friendly which was fantastic for us.

Good location, for future guests take all soap, washing up liquid kitchen roll, tinfoil, salt and pepper and all basics you need including a hairdryer. The house and location are good. there is parking for 1 car but you can park close on the road below. the Bagdale Hall is a gem at the end of the road.
