You’ll have full access to the townhouse during your stay which includes a cosy living area and open plan kitchen diner so it’s ideal for those looking for a self-contained, self-catering getaway.
The space
Princess Place Townhouse is a relaxing home from home in the centre of Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast. The perfect spot to unwind with your loved ones, the living area has a comfy sofa, flat screen TV and log burner. You’ll have everything you could need to prepare meals during your stay as the kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and cookware. Sharing the open plan space is the dining area which includes a light wood table and white chairs.

Upstairs on the first floor, you’ll find the first two bedrooms in the property and a shower room. Both bedrooms have a tranquil feel with neutral colour schemes and soft furnishings. The first bedroom features a king size bed and the second is a double.

Take the stairs to the second floor and you’ll find the final bedroom along with the bathroom. Ideal for families, the super king bed can be enjoyed as one bed or split into two singles. The bathroom on this floor features sloped ceilings, a skylight window and freestanding bathtub.

Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

This is a lovely place with a central location, we were lucky enough to get free parking which is rare for somewhere so close to the centre of Whitby. The room sizes are good ideal for families or 3 separate couple's and the kitchen was well equipped if you did want to cook with a full sized fridge/freezer,

This property had character, with large rooms, all the necessary amenities you needed. The location is great for exploring whitby on foot. Lots of room for up to 6 people. Just be aware it is pet friendly and unfortunately there was a strong pet odour in the living room. Also there were no dishwasher tablets or washing up liquid provided during our stay even though that was pointed out to the host upon check in. We would recommend the property and would stay there again if visiting whitby.

Really good location right near the centre of Whitby and 10mins walk from the beach, but on a quiet tucked away road. We were able to park right outside which was great. The bedrooms were good sizes with comfortable beds. The house had a damp musty smell and the kitchen floor and carpets were really dirty which is a shame given how much the cleaning feels was, and there was not enough toilet paper provided, or any additional bin bags. Would also expect a better stocked kitchen with simple things like oil, salt, pepper, foil and washing up liquid, so those things just let it down slightly!

The house is perfectly situated. You can park right outside and it's a little over 5 minutes walk into town. The house was clean, neat and tidy. The information you get sent before you travel is very informative and helpful. We would definitely stay again.
