The flat is just a short walk to the centre of Saltburn with all the shops, cafes and restaurants and public transport facilities close by. Although there were four adults and three children in our party it did not feel crowded and the second bathroom and large kitchen really made a big difference for us. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the flat to other guests.

The house was central and very comfortable

The upper staircase had very narrow steps. Three of the four children fell down a number of steps. A stair gate would be helpful to mitigate this risk.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, making check-in and communication smooth and easy. The location is great — close to everything we needed. The space itself was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Parking was no problem at all, which was a huge plus. Highly recommend staying here!

Location was perfect if you have kids- across road from park and Valley Garden play areas, and walkable distance to town centre and to the sea. Had no problem parking roadside outside property. Property was spacious and clean.

The kitchen could have done with a deep clean, needed new pans and cooking utensils. The staircase up to all the bedrooms is very steep and the tread are very shallow, so be careful if you have small children, people who aren’t stable on their feet/elderly. A baby gate at the top and bottom of these stairs might have been helpful

Comfortable furnishings

We were not warned about the death stairs to the bedrooms / the smoke detector was removed / bare wires were showing on a ceiling light / rusty stains in the kitchen cupboards from pans

Minimalistic decor yet well equipped for all our needs. Consider adding some towel rails/hooks to upstairs bathroom for added comfort. Thanks for the lovely shower soaps! A great stay overall!

Prior to our visit (NYE 2025) we were made aware that planned plastering work hadn’t been completed before our stay. We were disappointed but it wasn’t an option to cancel. We agreed a discount with the owner. Upon arrival the decorative repairs were a bit more than what we expected. Unfortunately 2 bedrooms smelt of cigarettes and the kitchen smelt of cooking oil. The boiler was switched off so it was cold. It felt like the property hadn’t been used in a while so it lacked a cosy welcoming feel. There was also noticeable dust. As other reviews mention, the bedrooms lack a bit of furniture and character. There used to be real potential for this to be a brilliant air bnb (the living room is a great social space), it just needs a bit more love and attention. We hope the owner makes the suggested changes to improve this apartment

Comfortable beds, very clean and tidy kitchens and bathrooms. Great cooking provisions, including tea and coffee and herbs. High chair and crockery and cutlery for kids too.

The property was very clean and comfortable. Ideal for a small group of friends.

The agent Host and Stay insisted on me taking out their damage insurance. This was £50 non refundable or £500 with a £15 'admin charge' on return. This was not listed on Booking.com at the time of booking. Obviously I'm used to card details being held in case of damage, but these fees are little more than a post booking scam. I will never use on of their managed properties again.

Mollymac is a lovely apartment easy walking distance into central Saltburn with its lovely cafes, restaurants and shops. Definitely visit Chocolinis for a fab hot choc. Parking good on the street.
Plenty of space with 4 good size bedrooms.

Great location, the stairs to the bedroom could be of concern if people in the party staying have any difficulty at all with stairs.

The large lounge. The location for access to town centre and woods.

The stairs to the bedrooms are narrow and steep unsuitable for young children and people with mobility issues. The washing machine could not be connected to the socket. The upstairs bathroom lacked a mirror, toilet roll holder and hooks for towels or clothes. The bedrooms were functional but lacked appropriate bedside lighting and one bedroom only had a bed and a chair.

Lovely spacious accommodation and really central. Couple of areas could do with a touch up but that's to be expected with rental I think. Communication was great especially when there was a slight issue which was sorted straight away. We would love to come back.

All good. Very homely living room, good sized bedrooms, comfy beds and spacious equipt kitchen. Hosts easy to communicate with. It’s on a great terraced street with easy parking either outside or near enough. Everything in Saltburn is walkable from the house. One improvement would be bedside tables and bedside lamps. But we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Thankyou.

We didn’t realise it was an apartment until we arrived, the place was clean but the stairs to top floor were very steep and one bedroom only had a chair to put your clothes on and no decor at all on the walls very clinical. No reading light at all, no waste bin in shower room or bedroom and luckily we were packing the car as the cleaner arrived at 9-50 .

Nice place, very clean and excellent location. We didn't struggle to park on the road which was free.
Decent size bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
Be aware that the lounge/kitchen is actually on the first floor and the stairs up to the bedrooms are very steep. My elderly parents struggled.
Dishwasher but no dishwasher tablets. When we got there, there was no toilet roll, although this was quickly rectified.
Overall would recommend and we would stay again but people with mobility issues would struggle.

The last few times we have stayed in Saltburn we stayed in a hotel but felt the prices were getting a bit steep. We were, therefore, a little nervous about what our accommodation would be like but were more than delighted with it. It was nice to have such a clean and comfortable place to relax in after a day on the beach; there was everything we could possibly need. Highly recommend this lovely house. Thank you very much.

We are a family of 5 and found Mollymac a great place to stay, felt like a home from home, with plenty of room for us and everything you’d need for a comfortable stay.
Nice touches with tea/coffee, shampoo and a few other bits left for you to use.
We’d definitely stay again as the location is great for exploring Saltburn-By-The-Sea by foot.
