Beautiful decor, great location, well equipped kitchen for a short stay. Showers are exceptional. Downstairs loo a bonus. Loved it.

It was the hottest weekend of the year ( not a complaint!) but we really could have done with sheets instead of duvets! Upstairs was airless and due to the heat one guest had to sleep on the sofa. If you leave the windows open at night expect the wake up call of million seagulls - they were relentless! We were a group of 5 women - if there had been 6 or three couples I think space downstairs would be tight.

Beliggenheten var god mht avstand til sentrum. Gode spisesteder, puber og små minimarkeder hvor man kunne kjøpe det nødvendige rett rundt hjørnet. Fin usjenert uteplass bak husene. Godt utstyrte, koselige hus med fine bad og gode senger i et hyggelig strøk med en god kaffebar (Coffi) vegg i vegg

Mye uro utenfor soveromsvinduet ut mot gaten. Lystige mennesker som gikk forbi om natten, søppeltømming og måkeskrik. Vi fikk ikke beskjed om hvor husnøkkelen skulle hentes. Måtte ringe 2 ganger før vi fikk adressen. Kunne gjerne vært vann i kjøleskapet, flere doruller og mer enn 1 håndkle til hver

Apartment was nice.
The check-in instructions were contradicting and unclear. It felt like I was inundated with emails and messages in the run up to check in so on the day I only used the official guide which you would expect would be accurate but told us to go to the wrong key location. We were already late for plans so this made it very stressful.
There was waste food left in the bin from whenever the last guest was in, and there was lots of cobwebs on the ceilings in the bedroom. The bedrooms were extremely hot. The host had kindly put tall fans in them but they were a bit gutless and didn’t make much difference.
I had accidentally left a sentimental item in the fridge once checked out. I messaged the host a few hours later to ask if it could be posted back to me and I would reimburse the postage, only to be told it wasn’t there. So either the cleaners have stolen it or thrown it away, I would rather they were honest rather than lie that it wasn’t there. Extremely disappointed.

The pilgrim coach house was spotless and looks like it has been renovated to a very high degree very nice decor and very comfortable the location was also ideal

We are all over. 70 luckily quite fit as we were not given the right key collection and had a lengthy walk to the proper collection point, just a thought why not have a key safe at the property as information on key collection was sketchy

No black out blinds or sufficient curtains which made sleeping very difficult.
Air conditioning did not work very well especially in bedrooms.

HOT. In the June summer heat, the upstairs bedrooms were roasting hot, and just opening the windows and running the fans was not sufficient to make it comfortable.
It was extremely confusing to figure out where to pick up the keys. I received several different emails and messages through the booking.com website about different locations to pick up the keys. Ridiculously confusing.
Living/dining area is tiny and not spacious enough for two couples traveling together.
Please note there was dust on the pendant lights over the kitchen island and a burn mark on the carpet of the smallest bedroom when we arrived.

Prime location, centralised to Liverpool, most things are within walking distance. Charlie answered any questions I had quickly prior to our stay. Advert mentions that there is a garage that is tight for space - I fit, with room to spare, a Volvo V60 Estate, with a roof box attached in the garage. There is permit parking outside the property, but after 6pm to 8am you can park if required. We had 2 cars for one day, I parked in the Liverpool Cathedral (3 minute walk) which was £15 for 24 hours, in a secure car park, with 24/7 manned station at the entrance. There is also a multi storey only a few minutes walk away which from passing I believe is only £6 for 24 hours. 8 minutes walk to Liverpool One shopping, 15 minutes to Liverpool Empire. 3 rooms, modern shower/toilet. One bedroom has a shower/wet room within, but we never used this. 2 double rooms, and one room with 2 single beds. Lovely brick building, coffee shop next door, which was quiet during the day, and not open late to disturb at night. The property was well equipped with hob/oven, fridge, washing machine, dish washer (2 complimentary capsules - which we didn’t use as hand washed the little dishes used), kettle - tea bags/coffee/sugar and long life milk capsules in the fridge. There is a downstairs toilet under the stairs as well. Out the back of the property accessed from the lounge space there is a balcony style seating area, well needed for the hot days we were there. Large smart TV’s in the main bedrooms and living room - we logged in to our Disney+. WIFI is good.

Not that it impacted our stay - the carpeted area, although looked quite new/good quality were marked on stairwell, and stained at top of the landing - they appeared cleaning but likely stained by a previous guest. The couch/sofa was a little small in design to comfortably sit and watch the TV - but again, didn’t impact our stay.

Really pleased with the location. As someone who hadn't been to Liverpool before it turns out we'd chosen a fantastic location. Easy collection of keys from a newsagent 2-minutes away. Spacious and equipped. Modern, clean and well finished. Coffee shop next door is a bit 'extra' but convenient. 10-minute walk from the station

Carpets up the stairs and landing is probably in need of replacing as quite heavily stained. Few higher areas in need of dusting. The host's messages was perhaps a little too frequent and heavy for my liking but got the information across.

The location was amazing. The quirky house was near to centre and places to go including attractions. It was stylish modern immaculate and beds were super comfy.

The area around kitchen seating area. We all agreed -as the accommodation is for 6 a dining table to accommodate this would be better which we couldn’t as dining table was only for 4.
The main bedroom has shower cubicle which was handy although bizarre there was no en-suite. There was a bathroom upstairs and a cloakroom toilet downstairs which was a must for 6 adults.
Excellent communication with host who responded quickly to any questions that arose.

Dale's property is specifically designed for Airbnb guests, with no owner's personal belongings, which can occur in other places. The furniture, fittings and home-ware are in excellent condition and the accommodation was very clean. The bedding is of very good quality and the beds comfy. Location is really good too. Only a 15 minute walk to Liverpool One. There is a lovely coffee shop next door. Pilgrim Street has very little traffic using it and is cobbled. We would certainly consider staying at Dale's place again.

It’s on a quiet cobbled street with a view of the cathedral but is very close to lots of restaurants and a fairly easy walk to everywhere. It has good amenities, even a washing machine which we didn’t need. Some toiletries are provided but not enough for several people for two nights - some more would be a nice touch. Lovely to have a kitchen/dining area although the seating isn’t ideal, it gave us the option of a takeaway rather than a restaurant though which was very convenient.
Re. The garage. It’s described as being suitable only for a small car, and several reviews agreed. So I booked a car park space as it was grand National weekend. However we were able to squeeze in a Freelander 2. You need people on every corner to help shout you in and out but it’s possible to use it for a big car, and the driver got out despite not being very slim! Annoyingly I couldn’t cancel the car park!

The bedroom doors were ridiculously squeaky. I have fed this back so hopefully with a tiny bit of WD40 it won’t be an issue for anyone else. Impossible to sleep through someone opening a door as they are now though. The landing and floors upstairs are fairly noisy but it’s an old house, and it has a lot of character so the creaks come with it I suppose.
I didn’t like the vagueness about key collection. The details on booking.com mention a shop to collect keys from, communication beforehand suggested there’s a key safe at the property but information sent to me just a few hours before arrival, when we were well on our way, told me to collect from a different shop just round the corner from the property. It’s easy to do and perfectly convenient but it would be nice to know in advance - I could not have cancelled the booking so it’s not as if that’s why they waited.
There aren’t enough seats of any one type if you eat in - 4 round the table, 3 comfy seats, 3 breakfast bar. It works as you’re all close together so can still be sociable.
I haven’t given a high rating for value for money as we inadvertently booked Grand National weekend - totally my bad, but it made for a very expensive stay.

Perfection for our stay. Family of four with two grow up kids, we loved staying here. Comfortable, with everything we needed. The bonus was the boutique coffee shop next door and the garage space for our car. Walkable to al the main attractions, and nearby shops for milk etc. thanks for having us!

Quite a good location if you don't mind a walk into the centre. As a guide, its perhaps 20 mins to where John Lewis is, 30 mins to Albert Dock. But plenty of places to eat close by / China Town close. Great for the Philharmonic.
No. 10 - Nicely decorated. Bedrooms super comfy. Great shower. Very well designed and laid out for the footprint of the property but it does mean there is no lounge.....Small sofa in kitchen area. So social night in for a group of friends wasn't as comfy as we would have liked. Having said that, we would definitely stay there again/recommend (unless we found somewhere cheaper!). We loved loved loved Liverpool.

1) Arrangements and pricing for Security deposit should have been much clearer prior to booking - that came as a bit of a shock and an additional cost that I'd not accounted for (on an already expensive weekend). And a £50 service charge for 3 night stay on top of accom and cleaning also seems a bit inflated. 2) Key pick up - this changed on the day and wasn't obvious to me that it was a change in location. I was shattered, footsore and carrying heavy bags so was not overjoyed to walk to one location and then have to back track to another 10 mins away. Fortunately the correct pickup point was only round the corner from the property 3) 1 Dishwasher pod for a 3 night stay was a bit mean.

Great location in a lovely part of central Liverpool and a short walking distance from Bold Street and a wide range of restaurants / bars. Clean and comfortable house with a well-equipped kitchen; very quiet overnight.

There was a slight mismatch between information available on the booking website and information from the host (before and during the stay). For example, where to collect the keys and what to do on vacating the property. We also thought the damage deposit details (payment and refund) could have been clearer at the time of booking.

We had a bit of a glitch with the emailed instructions versus the guide instructions and an incorrect code but the hosts answered quickly and got it straightened out. Beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. The photos made the sitting area appear larger as what seemed to be a sofa was in actuality a love seat. It’s small but we made it work.

We had difficulty locating the key pickup store and when we did and gave him the 6 digit code he said it was invalid and we'd have to contact the company. We rang the company and got cut off, we made another call and was given a different key code which this time worked.
When we arrived at the property we were surprised how small the property seemed if 6 people had been staying there. When we booked we were a party of 4 but unfortunately one of the ladies was unable to join us because of sickness. I would say it was just about big enough for 3 people. When I booked I was never told about the payment for the damage waiver , which I complained about before i left home. They said if we didn't pay £25 {non refundable} or a £250 holding fee on my credit card BUT £10 retained if everything was ok with the property £240 was refunded back on my card then we couldn't enter the property! ALL this should up front when the booking is made, very disappointed overall!!

Great location and would recommend. Garage though tight, was great bonus. Lovely decor and little outdoor space was very welcome.

Check out at 10 I think is too early - with no option for late checkout. No freezer compartment in the fridge so don’t buy ice cream!

The house itself was really nice & clean, with good/modern facilities & short access to Liverpool city centre.

Communication prior to arrival was very poor, as I was unaware that Host & Stay had not taken the damage waiver off my card even though I had provided permission. I was then held to ransom following a 5-hour car journey & told that we could not gain access to the house until I had paid the waiver, which I couldn't easily do from the car. This should have all been sorted out in advance of the journey. Plus when we were eventually given the access code, we were then sent to the wrong mini-market to pick up the keys. Really poor organisation & communication, which is a shame as the property was really nice.

Everything was fine, but I really disagree with how an additional fee was hidden sneakily in the description of this listing.
We received an email shortly before check in:
"All reservations need to have a damage waiver in place, or a damage deposit held prior to arrival. This is to guarantee your peace of mind, in the unlikely event that accidental damage may occur."
This should really just be included in the main nightly fee and in our situation it was frustrating for expensing the trip. Particularly peeved by the language. We would have been much more chill if you just went out and said you're doing it to get around AirBnB taking a bigger cut of the trip cost, but it's rather disingenuous to say this is to guarantee our peace of mind.
The low overall rating is to draw peoples attention to this practice, overall things were good, other than the communication feeling incredibly impersonal and corporate.

Very overpriced. Please be warned and read the booking terms minutely. I was charged the full amount of almost a thousand pounds ( for 3 nights) four months before my stay. I wasn’t expecting it as I had booked under a free cancellation deal and thought I would pay on the day. I was planning on saving the money each month. Left me overdrawn. I also had to pay a £250 security deposit which they have taken ten days to refund me and have actually had the cheek to deduct £10 for an administrative fee!!!after earning interest on my £1100 for four months! I’m disgusted! Also the shopkeeper who passed the key over was very grumpy.

Only thing I will say which wasn’t a problem but maybe helpful for next time the accommodation sleeps 6 but only had 5 large plates. This didn’t affect is in anyway we managed but maybe 6 large plates would be better.

Lovely house in great location, right next to a fabulous coffee shop. Check in was easy but I wasn’t happy at all with some unexpected fees only notified a week before our stay. We were asked to pay £25 “accidental damage” insurance before the host would share any check in details. My understanding is that all Air bnb hosts have insurance through Air bnb already so this seems very strange and not at all a good experience. I have read other review saying that the garage is small but it fit our Skoda Octavia estate just fine.

Great properties with bright modern decor. Nice and clean by our high standards as we are VERY particular with our accommodation. Good location within walking distance of all main areas of city centre. The street was lovely and quiet with a great little coffee shop right next door.

The parking situation was the only negative but it wouldn’t stop me from returning. The street parking is max 2 hour stay. The garages are quite tight for larger cars and we couldn’t fit Discovery Sport and Mercedes E class in them. Parked at the Q Park which was only 10 min walk so no hardship.

Cute mews house, great location on a quiet street in the Georgian Quarter close to sights, restaurants and bars.
I was in a group of 4, might be a bit of a squeeze if 6 people stay.
It's a bonus having a garage (for a small car) but there is lots of parking nearby anyway.
Be prepared for noisy seagulls :-)
Host and Stay were very responsive.
I would definitely stay there again.

Great location with easy access to restaurants and amenities. We came for a graduation and the house was walking distance to the university.
When we arrived the fridge had a horrible fishy smell and the host did not address the issue at all. The house also had a dusty smoker’s smell.
Towels were clean and beds very comfortable and also matched the pictures. The terrace outside space was also a nice feature. Bedroom TV did not work which was disappointing.
Given the central location, there was lots of drunk and disorderly behaviour in the early hours of the morning.
Good place for 1-2 nights stay maximum. Check in / check out process is clear and simple.

The property is modern and very well presented. It’s central and a 5 minute walk to into the city of Liverpool. The garage is a real bonus as is the little seating area which is a real sun trap. Will definitely stay again 😃

If 6 people were staying in the property you would be limited to all relax in the lounge area.

A casa è bem decorada e muito bonita, com camas aconchegantes e um ótimo chuveiro. O fato de você ter que coletar e deixar a chave em um mercado perto é meio inconveniente para quem está com muita mala. Ao chegar, a geladeira estava com um cheiro muito desagradável que perdurou por alguns dias até nos mesmos limparmos. Não tem bucha de lavar louça e nem detergente e só ofereceram 2 sabão de louça pra lavarmos. Os ventiladores são muito fracos e o calor estava intenso dentro da casa. Excellent location. Within walking distance of everything but location was quiet. We were given the wrong address for the key safe. Luckily the staff at that address were able to direct us to where they were. Not ideal as we came by train and had to take our suitcases with us.

The outside area was covered with rubbish including chips when we arrived. It may have been caused by the seagulls tearing the black bags which had been left. We had to leave ours too as we were travelling by train. I feel they should be cleared before new guests arrive.

Property in a nice area, near to Anglican Cathedral. Well equipped property and decorated nicely. Garage an assert, but only for a smallish car. Outdoor space a bonus.

Picking keys up from a local shop at 3pm. Keys weren't at the shop, had to make a phone call chasing them, keys not available until they finally arrived at 3.30pm very frustrating.
Outside rubbish bins were full, so plastic sacks of rubbish were on the floor, which attracted the flies. No instructions to put bins out for collection on whatever days, looks like they have not been emptied for a long time!!

Sent to the wrong shop to pick the keys up, directions were sent via phone. It is an inconvenience to have to go to a shop to collect, a key safe is better for the guests.

The locks on the door were very difficult to open, they were sticking and needs to be looked at.
I asked if we could drop off the bags a few hours before check in was told no, but we could pay and store them in the city centre £5 per bag. Since covid it has now become the normal to have later check in and earlier check outs. I will in the future prior to booking trips see when check-in and check outs are.

Having enough bathrooms x2 and a separate downstairs toilet, both excellent. Big beds and nice and clean. The kitchen had everything you needed, though we mostly ate out. The little patio was good for fresh air, yet private. The garage a bonus if you have a small car - double yellows all down the street. Fab little coffee shop right next door, but quiet.

The lounge was too small for x6 people to be together, just 1 sofa.
The volume and tone of emails about taking out accidental damage cover and vacating the property by 10.00am seemed a bit OTT!

It was modern and very very homey and comfy at the same time. I loved the two main double rooms they were beautiful and well layed out. It felt like a home away from home. The house has everything you need including not one iron but two, plenty of plug and usb sockets, books to ready, x 3 television and tea and coffee and sugar are provided. There’s a shop around the corner to get milk.

The bathrooms were also amazing.The whole house was super clean and I loved the decor. Also the automatic lights around the floor and the light up mirrors in the bathroom were a bonus. Big fan of the duo shower heads also and very nice hot shower!

Although I didn’t bring the car this time it’s great you have your own garage to put the car in too.

Great location in town also where you can walk to everything and you’re just around the corner from one of the main streets, the bombed out church and Chinatown

The windows let in a draft in the back double room. Also potentially windows need to be thicker as you could hear every single noise outside including just people walking by the street having conversation. The walls are noticeably quite think also if you have loud neighbours staying in the house next door.

In comparison to the rest of the decor in the house the carpet on the stairs didn’t fit in and looked a bit tacky and the yellow in the single bed room on the walls but everything else was beautifully laid out decorated and was amazing we couldn’t have picked a better property. It’s my most favourite property I’ve booked right now.

It’s not important but We would recommend a full length mirror upstairs on the landing and there isn’t one in the house to look in. Plenty of others but not one to see your full body before going out

Lovely place, just as described in the advertisement. Nice and clean apartment, very well equipped, and close to the city center. A little warm in the bedrooms. We were there during weekend, so we had difficult sleeping because of high music and party going on in the hood. Especially on Saturday. But all in all a nice place, we will come back.

My family and I have really enjoyed our stay! Beautiful place, very clean, well-equipped in all rooms, just as pictured. The location is so good, walking distance to lots of restaurants, stores, and sites, but right off the main street so it's very quiet. The TVs in each main bedrooms were also nice to wind down with. Just to note the host is a company, but their team is very responsive throughout the days.
The only thing that puts people off is that, like other reviewers said, they later ask for a deposit of £250 (plus £10 admin fee) or a damage waiver of £25. This is unlike a normal airbnb thing, but somewhat understandable. Would be more honest if they reflect this cost in the listing description, to indicate upfront that what you pay on the airbnb site is not all of the cost.
Self check-in is picking up the keys from a convenient store close-by, which is not very conventional but the instructions were clear and the store was an easy 2-min walk from the apartment.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist perfekt → liegt sehr zentral und ist auch mit dem Bus vom Flughafen super zu erreichen (Endstation - Bold Place)
Alles in der Nähe vorhanden. Minishops, Kaffeehäuser, Snacks usw.
Das kleine Haus war sehr sauber. Ausstattung sehr gut, es fehlte uns an nichts. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Lots of hassle trying to collect the key on arrival. We were given the wrong address of the mini market. Wasted taxi fare. Took over an hour in total.
Neighbours next door were very noisy. Partied all night until 7am with very loud music and lots of people coming and going all night. They were banging on our front door during the early hours which made us feel unsafe. We were there for 2 nights in total and none of us managed to sleep. Very disappointed.

We had a great stay, so central to Liverpool City Centre. We could walk to all the main attractions in the City. Everything you could need. Great to have TV in the rooms too. The house was very clean and absolutely amazing to have the garage attached to the property to keep a car super safe. Highly recommend.

Great place, in a great location within easy walking distance of city centre. Parking was really useful too, nice and secure. Seating was an issue in the kitchen/lounge, if there had been six people it would have been over-crowded. We had no hot water throughout our stay, wish we had told them straight away, but that's our fault. Really nice place to stay and would certainly go again without hesitation.

Lovely house, spotlessly clean with very comfy beds and everything thing you’d need in the kitchen. A bigger sofa would be nice as really only sits 2 adults, wasn’t a problem though as only 3 of us and there was another soft chair and dining chairs plus we were out in the evenings. TVs in both double rooms meant we could relax later. The decked patio was a great sun trap and very peaceful to sit with a cuppa, it was hot while we were there but I still would have sat out there all year round as a lovely little spot. The unsung hero of this place though is the garage, not having to faff with car parks or driving round looking for space was brilliant and great that we could securely keep my car full with my daughter’s uni belongings safely overnight. Walking home from town and Cavern club took about 20 mins and felt safe at night. A nice little cafe next door too. Two showers, two loos, everything clean, towels etc all there. A great place we’d definitely stay again.

The property is very different, in a good way. It holds a lot of character and when you go inside you actually feel at home. It doesn’t feel like a hotel or a short stay. The decor is very different but it has such a homely feel, we all absolutely loved it. It was also very clean and organized perfectly. Would definitely recommend families staying here.

All the light switches are very temperamental, this was a huge issue. The noise in this area isn’t too great, each morning a alarm was going off for hours which wasn’t great. The beds mattresses weren’t amazingly comfy but it didn’t ruin the stay! The garage is extremely small, we had to move a large amount of paint canisters just to get our car inside. We booked here as it has parking, although I would not recommend anyone with a large car parking in it. Our car doors got scraped as the driver couldn’t get out. The negative comments aren’t the end of all, the good did out way the bad! The location is extremely hard to find, when we called booking.com they weren’t great. Although the actual hosts were more than happy to help.

Great location for exploring what has now become an excellent tourist city - close to a number of attractions and 15min walk to pierhead via town centre. Plenty of dining and drinking options nearby (don't miss the Philharmonic Dining Rooms: a pub 3 mins away).

Slightly quirky property was nicely and recently decorated, spotless, comfortable and well equipped. Garage was a major bonus as there's little or no longer term parking in the area and limited street parking is expensive (but be aware the garage is small - OK for our Fiesta but not much more). Fast internet.

Key collection and return worked well (but be aware it would be a 10 min walk if not driving).

We found it perfect for three of us (sleeps six but dining/lounge area wouldn't cope with that as too small).

Would book again if staying in the area.

Booking process via Booking.com but really with local agency (Host so Simple) was frustrating as we received multiple requests for information already given (repeated email threats to cancel booking were a concern!). Agencies need to co-ordinate better. Out of hours message left for Host so Simple was never responded to. One bath sheet per person but no face towels. Quite noisy at night (traffic noise on cobbled street and late night bars).

The floor boards in the front bedroom were very noisy and the bedroom door had a terrible squeak so for those who needed to get up in the night it was very embarrassing
Also there was one tiny bottle of shower gel (and shampoo - less of an issues as we tend to bring our own) provided for (potentially) 6 of us for 2 nights (none in the ensuite shower off the back double bedroom) so had to buy our own. Even if we hadn't had had to pay 10x the usual price per night because it was Eurovision, (completely understand market forces and we did opt to pay so our bad) felt this was a bit stingy
And so many questions before we even arrived (including having to "describe" our group!)
We enjoyed the weekend but would not book again and unlikely to recommend to others

This is the 2nd air bnb i've booked from katy, Joe & teams and i've never had a problem. location is perfect as its only a 10 min walk to central. price wise is reasonable and place comes with free parking. I would reccomend for anyone and anytime I come liverpool again I'd be booking with them again. place was nice & clean.

The location was great, 5-10 minutes walk into the centre of Liverpool and with some nice bars on the doorstep. The coach house was beautifully decorated with high quality fittings and it was great to have three bedrooms. The garage was very handy for parking up the car for the weekend

As this is a city location there was noise during the early hours (on both days) that sounded like bottles being collected from bars.

Clean & nicely decorated apartment - well located in Liverpool city centre. Few mins walk to Bold street and not too much further to Liverpool One and the Docks.
Pro’s - Location, Decor, cleanliness
Few small things to note: Apartment listed to sleep 6: Has 2 double beds and 2 singles. However the table only seats 4 & there is only a 2 seater sofa. The living area is quite small. It would be best suited for groups who plan to eat out and be out a lot rather than have much ‘chill out at home’ time, as there’s not much space for 6 people to chill or eat in.
The keys have to be picked up from a newsagent approx 600 metres away from the apartment. Not a big deal if you are driving but if you’re walking from the train station with heavy luggage it’s a little bit of a hassle.
We had some issues with the keys and the wifi during our stay, the team were very apologetic and tried to fix the issues asap.
Overall it’s a lovely apartment and a great location. Just a few little things to bear in mind depending on what you’re looking for from your stay in Liverpool

Fantastic location, very attractive property tucked down a quant side street with a welcoming feel and most things you need for a short break. Very near to lots of great eating and drinking places, with a vibrant and buzzy feel. Walking distance to the Baltic Market and Albert Dock areas, plus local historic buildings.

Easy check in process. Toilet rolls and towels provided. Garage a bonus. Good communication with owner during our stay.

I found the log in process impossible to access, which created unwanted stress prior to our weekend. A couple of small extras would have tipped good into outstanding (eg plug and bowl for kitchen sink, better pillows). The great location also brought some late night street noise (obviously not the owner's fault).

Great location in the university district, only about 15-20 mins from Albert Dock on foot. The house is beautifully furnished & decorated. Speedy pick-up/drop-off of keys.

The garage next door was almost too small for our car to fit but we made it...just. The TVs are a brilliant size but we couldn't get them to work. Thankfully, we brought our Fire stick so we could still use the one in the lounge. I would say the lounge is a bit tight if there were 6 adults staying but there were only 4 of us so it felt cozy.

The property itself must have had professional style interior designers. Everything and more than you need. We were 3 couples meeting up and the space was great for a weekend break. Didn't need the garage but what a bonus if you did (but might not take a massive SUV). Location was perfect in terms of quiet side street but still close enough to everything with local pubs, groceries and restaurants. Can't think of staying anywhere better.

Not quite "didn't like" but there was a dishwasher but only 6 mugs. Had we have wanted to dine in if you were staying for a week or more than it might have been a bit tight.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was charming, comfortable and clean, perfect for the week leading up to our wedding. The only issue is that the parking garage is VERY small - our Volkswagen Golf couldn’t fit without 30 minutes worth of careful maneuvering. The house was perfect, everything we needed and spotlessly clean and cosy. Extremely comfy beds and couldnt fault a thing except could have done with a couple of fans as very warm inside. Loved the little terrace outside also.
Would love to stay here again next time we are in Liverpool.

We loved staying at Pilgrim Street - it’s a lovely house and is very convenient for Bold Street, Liverpool One, the cathedral and LIPA. Beds are very comfortable- nice showers etc and check in and out was very easy.

5 stars all round. We had an amazing few days staying in this beautiful little house. Everything we needed and more! The house is finished to a high standard the decor beautiful , clean and in a really central location with a coffee shop next door.
Even the builders were quiet and super friendly can't wait to bring our family and friends with us next time when its ready!
The only negative point is I wished we had found you earlier as have been staying in hotels over the last 3 years and now my daughter has graduated from Liverpool uni. Bring on her Masters so we can come back.

Great size house for six of us girls to have a lovely weekend in Liverpool together. Fantastic location, went to a few bars just along the road nearby and had a lovely breakfast at The Florist which is a two minute walk. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable.
We stayed on an extremely hot weekend and the house did not have any fans so it was slightly warm but this I know can’t be helped.
Check in was clear and good instructions were given.

A very nice mid terrace house, which was tastefully decorated and well appointed.
Ideally placed for all Liverpool’s attractions which are within easy walking distance.

We booked a short stay for my sisters Graduation.
Katy, Joe, Charlie and the rest of the team were fantastic!
They continuously kept in contact to remind us our booking was approaching and as promised sent us information on check in on time.
All 4 of my family members who stayed were extremely pleased with the cleanness of the property, they all loved the decor and all of them wished they could have called this place home!!!
Step father said, if he was to visit Liverpool again, he would choose this place again to stay.
If you're looking for a nice place to stay that's nearby to city centre - All 4 of my family members give this place 5/5 and highly recommend it!!!!

What I liked - location , place at v good standard
What I didn’t like - not enough communal space for 6 people to convene, rigmarole to get a second set of keys which was important due to different schedules and have been charged £50 which I had left as a deposit for spare keys even though we left them in house as requested . Currently trying to get that money back

Stayed here for 2 nights and couldnt fault it. Its in a great location to the centre and nearby restaurants and bars. Spotless throughout and free parking. The welcome pack was really useful and a lot of detail has gone into this explaining how to collect keys. Would definitely stay again x

A brilliant stay was had at Katy & Joes. The accommodation is exactly like the photos, and the full interior was lovely and looked expensive. The apartment was clean and was in an excellent location. Having access to the garage for one car was also incredibly useful, when due to trains being cancelled we then had to drive down to Liverpool. It was very easy to get Ubers (less than 5 minutes) and was a central location. Communication from Katy & Joe was excellent we got a response within the hour and when we needed to make a call it was always answered. We appreciated the level of detail gone into the document pack to explain key drop off, directions etc it meant we did not have to follow any of this up. We also requested an extended check out at shorter notice and it was responded to and granted quickly. I would stay here again.

Brilliant little town house. Great location. You can walk everywhere. The garage is an asset too. Very clean and comfortable. The lounge/dining room/ kitchen was small but so well designed. We really enjoyed our few days in Liverpool. Katie and team were great communicators. The key collection was easy. We had two lovely meals close by in Papillon and Wreckfish and a very expensive tasting menu at the Art School but it was amazing! Highly recommend the property.

Seamless from start to finish. Key collection is nearby, property is super clean and cosy. Absolutely perfect for what we were looking for and fit the bill!

This is a fabulous place to stay in Liverpool. The house has all the amenities you need for a very comfortable stay and the garage is a huge bonus for leaving the car. Everything is within walking distance and communication from Katy and Joe was fast and easy. I would highly recommend it for a short break away.

Beautiful little house, really good to have the garage too :)
There's a kitchen/diner on the ground floor and a separate little loo, and 3 lovely bedrooms, a main bathroom and an en suite upstairs . The beds are beyond comfortable !!
The lack of a separate sitting room did not affect our stay one bit, there was 5 of us, aged 55 to 65, plenty of seating for us all in the diner 😀.
It's immaculately clean, lovely fixtures and fittings. Towels, bedding, loo roll, shower gel, tea, coffee, sugar and washing up facilities all included. I would 100% recommend this property for up to 6 people to stay. Close to town centre, everything within walking distance. Loved everything about it.

Simply the best Airbnb experience we’ve had. A charming, well-located and beautifully appointed little home. I say ‘little’ but it was just fine for 4 above average sized adults! Shower was amazing, and all the amenities you’d want or need are available. The beds were comfortable, too! Great communication from the hosts, and it really did feel like ‘home’, whereas so many other places we’ve stayed at felt like apart-hotels. You will not be disappointed!

The property was beautifully decorated we were very happy with all the rooms, kitchen and bathrooms. It was very central and the parking allowed for a kia sportage with only millimetres to spare.
The open plan kitchen/diner was rather small for the 5 guests but wasn't an issue for us as we were out all day and ate at restaurants.
We did not like the check in process which was to collect the key from a shop 5-7 minute walk away. The same with the check out process.
All in all would use this property again especially to use the sandwich shop on the corner, Dory's, again

Wonderful weekend away in a lovely accommodation! Easily spacious enough for our group of five with space to all sit together to socialise. The main bathroom is lovely and the lighting is perfect for a selfie or two!
Kath, Joe and the team have provided everything you need for a lovely getaway and the location is ideal. We got a lot of taxis but only due to the weather otherwise you’re never too far from anywhere to walk!

We had a good stay and would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit liverpool with a family- we had 2 kids under 5 and still had a great time. Heads up: the garage won't fit every car. Our xc40 volvo didnt fit- just so youre aware.

This is a beautiful airbnb, one of the best I have stayed in. Communication was excellent, check-in easy, location ideal (only a 5 minute walk from Bold Street where there are loads of great bars and restaurants). The house itself is finished to a very high standard, very stylish and has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. They even put a cute lit Christmas tree in the sitting room for us! The beds were very comfortable and the house was very warm and cosy which was much appreciated at this time of year! The garage was a real bonus too as we didn't have to worry about parking, it accommodated our estate car very well. Would highly recommend this airbnb and would love to stay here again when we next visit Liverpool.

Everything about our stay here was five star.
It's a lovely home, beautifully decorated and very, very clean and comfortable. The beds were great, as were the bathrooms, good size and good water pressure in the showers. Walking distance to the town centre and train stations. Would have liked to have stayed longer and would definitely stay again.

Great location - easy walk to shops, bars, restaurants and the water front. The house is decorated beautifully - presumably aimed at adults, but we stayed as a family with little kids and it worked just as well! Secure parking was a bonus (we were able to squeeze an SUV in the garage with some careful manoeuvre!). Would definitely stay again.

For visiting the City of Liverpool this location was fantastic. The accommodation is in a quiet side road off the main drag. The attached garage means you can safely leave your car and explore the main areas on foot. Close to two comprehensive shopping centres, an array of restaurants and cafes of many cuisines, museums, and entertainment. The Metropolitan and Anglican cathedrals are both a short walk away.
Definitely a brilliant find.

This is an amazing house with fabulous owners who really know how to host. Immaculately presented and couldn't be more central - 3 mins from Liverpool Cathedral, 5 mins from Bolt Street restaurants and bars and 10 mins from Lime Street, Liverpool One and Royal Albert Dock.
Perfect for couples and families of all ages. We were a couple with 2 kids and a grandma and we all loved the house, especially the 3 TVs! Excellent coffee shop next door too!!!
All.in all an outstanding place to stay - would definitely recommend and will book again as great restaurants including Mowgli, Yuet Ben, Bundobast and Petit Cafe so close as well as all the superb Georgian architecture.

It was an absolute pleasure arriving to find the cottage situated in a lovely quiet little cobbled street, yet just round the corner were the deligyts of the city : )

We were moved to this property from a much larger house which to be honest did seem too good to be true for the price, don’t overlook the lack of freezer like we did and sadly food went to waste, bit of a dodgy hob but otherwise very comfortable and very responsive and friendly team that helped with all our concerns
