The space
There is a large bedroom with a comfortable double bed, a huge open plan living/dining area for guests to relax in. The huge windows throughout provide plenty of natural light and great city views! The quirky music inspired decor makes it a truly unique place to stay! There is even a grand piano in the living room!Please note: The guitars are no longer in this apartment and we have installed curtains in the bedroom since the professional photography.
Guest access
Guests have exclusive private access to the entire apartment for the duration of their stay.Please note that building works will be taking place on the exterior of the property from 1st April 2024 onwards. We have set our rates at a discount to reflect this work.
Other things to note
The keys will be available to collect from a local Keynest Shop - Liverpool - Muskers Newsagents that is about 4 minute walk. This is located at 48 Dale Street, Liverpool, L2 5ST. Use this time to familiarise yourself with the area and take in the vibrant City atmosphere Liverpool has to offer!The store is open from 06:00 - 02:00 on Mondays - Thursdays, 6:00-00:00 on Fridays, and is open 24 hours every Saturday and Sunday. If you are planning to arrive past the closing time, please let us know and we can arrange an alternative key collection method.
We are available from 9am-9pm each day to help with any queries via phone call or message. We do have an emergency out of hours team that helps out during later hours though they are limited in what assistance they can provide. Hence, any issues communicated outside of these hours will need to be dealt with the next day unless it is an emergency situation.
The apartment is located within a residential building, as such this is not suitable for parties, events or celebrations and we have a strict policy against loud music or noise.
We are unable to host groups of guests under 25 at this property.
The apartment is located on the 4th floor.
The check in time is 3pm & check out 10am - Please adhere to these times unless otherwise agreed. An unauthorised late check out will incur a charge.
We provide bedding for all beds needed and a bath towel per guest. Bathrooms will be equipped with X1 hand towel and X1 bath mat.
Smoking is strictly prohibited and will incur a deep cleaning charge upon check out.
Kindly note that we cannot accept parcels delivered to the apartment’s address and cannot be held responsible for any lost/damaged items. If you do require a parcel to be delivered during your stay, please contact us for our office address.
Lastly, please note, during exceptionally busy periods we may need to gain access to the property to complete maintenance works. This is to keep the property in good order for your stay. We always give 24 hours notice of this unless there is an emergency which needs addressing sooner.

The location and the decoration.
We visited Liverpool in September 2024 and our experience in this apartment was not entirely to our liking. We traveled as a family (a couple with an 8-year-old girl) and we had to use the sofa bed. The mattress on the sofa bed was full of large, very unpleasant stains and really dirty. We didn't mind making the bed but the condition of the mattress was terrible. The bathroom was not too clean either and there were stains above the sink that we cleaned ourselves. In addition, the clothes hanger was completely disassembled or broken in the room, with the hangers piled up on a trunk, so we could not hang our clothes, as it was the only place available for it. There were no wardrobes either, so we could not take the clothes out of the suitcases. I think that if we pay for insurance in advance in case we cause possible damage, in addition to a not cheap price for the accommodation, it is fair that the apartment is perfectly prepared for the guests. And it was not.

Additional rules
• We do not allow stag and hen nights in our property as it is in a residential building. • Any fobs which are lost during the stay will be charged at £50 per fob. • Collecting the keys before 3pm is strictly forbidden unless otherwise arranged and will be subject to a minimum charge of £20 per hour or part thereof, for the delays in cause to our cleaner’s schedule. This applies to dropping the keys back later than the check-out time of 10am. • No large groups under the age of 25. • Guests will be charged £100 if there are any signs of smoking on the property.

The apartment was spot on. Everything was on hand.
I slept 4 hrs on the first night as upstairs seemed to be doing a spot of diy/decorating which didn't stop until 12.30 am and started again at 5.45am the next morning. It was a nightmare, screeching of step ladders as they dragged them across the floor, clanking of metal when they were climbing up and down them. Loud bangs etc. Absolutely no regard for us downstairs.
I contacted host & Stay who said they would look into it but I was also told its unlikely they will be able to do anything about it as they dont deal with noise. I called building management whom told me they couldn't do anything about it until the Monday, the day we left. I still don't know what if anything was done.

A good location, with everything close by and a big enough space for 3 guests, however the check in process was very difficult and 2/3 of the locks didn’t work. The complaints were dealt with however a few weeks later. The property itself was good other than the lock issue.

Excelllente location: 5 minutes walk to Cavern quarter
the piano sound fine!
the cleanliness of the flat was not very good: the sheets were dirty and were not changed.
the mattresses are very uncomfortable
The bathroom amenities (shampoo, gel, toilet paper) were very scarce: just enough for one person and three days... and there were four of us.
In the photographs and flat guide there is a coffee machine and a bottle with capsules, but none of them were there.

Was a bit disappointed with the host with poor response time on the app and I was expected to collect the keys from a shop 20-25 min walk away from the flat. No help in changing the location of the keys even for checkout.
The price you see on airbnb isn’t the price you pay with even a security deposit taking an admin fee.
Flat itself was okay but poor shower pressure (shower head had missing silicone bits).

The Lift was out of order and looked like this had been the case for a good while, with the apartment being on the 4th floor, prior warning of this would have been welcome as this proved a little difficult for us both.

There was supposed to be 2 sofa bed settees, only one and 2 not comfortable chairs, not conjusive to watching a movie for any length
of time.
Didn't like the fact that no-one meets you and had to get keys from an unfriendly newsagent.
Very basic facilities, doesn't look much like photos now, no chair in bedroom either!
Stingy on extras, enough shower gel for a mouse to use never mind 4 people for 2 nights!

The property was well presented although lacked some basic amenities, for example, milk sachets.
The grand piano was a lovely addition, although should have been cleaned prior to our arrival
Enjoyed the tech features such as the underfloor heating and the easy to use television
The company were hacked and declined to inform their customers of that, which resulted in me being defrauded by the hackers (and thus the company by proxy).
I have not only lost very much needed money, but had to go through the process of cancelling two cards.
For this, I received a half-hearted apology and no acknowledgment or accountability from that Host & Stay. They knew they had been hacked but chose not to disseminate this information to their customers.
Warning - have caution. Weigh up the convenience of a close stay with the risk of fraud.

Avoid! I wish I booked somewhere else.
I was so disappointed with this place. They demanded a £250 after I booked this accommodation on top of accommodation fees. I think this should be mentioned beforehand.
Then they gave me the wrong address for the apartment. Also where you pick up the keys is somewhere else completely different. It took me over an hour to find the place because they were very unclear of where I had to go.
There's a window that is not airtight so if its a windy day it sounds like you have your window open on a busy road. So you can't get a good night's sleep.
They also use electric heaters which personally gives me a headache.

Apartment is large and very well finished. The windows are, however, not fully air-tight, allowing cold air and noise from the street in. The coffee machine pictured was not present. When I raised this, I was asked to send evidence of the picture I referred to and that a French press was present, which is not good enough to redress the discrepancy and disappointment.

A lovely apartment in a fantastic and exciting location. The view from the balcony was great, and there was hardly any noise from the area or surrounding apartments. The team were easily contactable and responded very quickly to any queries. The guidance sent before our visit was very detailed and helpful. All appliances worked well also. Location location location! The pull out sofa bed was more comfy than my bed at home! Very spacious. Cool in hot weather. Fantastic balcony.
Somebody had put something in an old bin under the sink which had been there a while so it smelt. Think the cleaners hadn't realised. Otherwise all great and it was clean and spacious. Lovely balcony and cool in hot weather. Lots of hoops to go through to get this one as the owner clearly cares very much about it but that made it good to stay in as you knew it would be nice. It's more basic in real life than it looks in the pics but that's Ok.

A very clean well organised space, with great balcony, well kitted out kitchen and nice large shower. Only things to mention are, from someone who likes to do home cooking, more by way of essentials would have been good, and perhaps expected, ie salt, pepper, oil, and details of how to deal with rubbish/recycling. Also to note no window to open in bedroom, so very hot at night.

needed a place to stay while playing some shows at The Cavern. very nearby, loads of space for guitar cases etc etc, a double bed and 2x sofa beds. perfect, and reasonably priced too. and the piano is fairly in tune too.
the lift is very keen to close on you…if you’ve loads of luggage it’s a two (or more) person job to load in/out

mooi ruim en schoon appartement vriendelijk personeel bij aankomst. we mochten kosteloos de koffers een aantal uren stallen bij het kantoor.
slaapbank/matras was niet comfortabel.
na uit checken mochten we de koffers nogmaals stallen bij het kantoor maar moesten wel bij het ophalen 5 pond betalen per koffer. De man die het afhandelden was arrogant

The location was excellent. The apartment was spacious and the kitchen had good facilities. The bed was comfy. It was relatively quiet (we stayed Thurs - Sat) with very little external noise.
Arriving at the room to discover housekeeping hadn’t cleaned the room so we were met with the previous tenant’s mess. Having travelled from Cambridge, it was disappointing not to be able to relax properly in the apartment on our arrival. I had booked the apartment as a surprise break for my partner’s birthday; with us arriving on his birthday. We were hoping to be able to have a shower after travelling and before we went out for a pre-booked meal and event. Unfortunately, as the apartment hadn’t been cleaned and there were no clean bath towels available we had to make do with a wash in the sink instead. It also meant that we were unable to unpack and settle in before we went out for the evening and had to do it upon our return from our event late at night. Once informed of the issue, the management company were very responsive and apologetic; organising for housekeeping to visit ASAP. However, we had to hand the keys back to the collection point to enable housekeeping to enter the apartment whilst we were out so we then had the minor inconvenience of having to collect the keys once again after our event had finished late at night to enable us to regain access to the apartment. This initial experience put a bit of a downer on what was supposed to be a special day.
The apartment was a little warmer than we are used to and we were unable to get any natural air into the bedroom due to the balcony door in the bedroom being sealed shut.
The grand piano was the main reason I booked the apartment as a surprise for my partner’s birthday but, unfortunately, it wasn’t quite in tune.
Having to return the keys to the collection point (in a different building further down the street) by 10am which meant we had to be up and out of the apartment well before 10am to ensure we got them back in time.

Great location, only a few minutes from Matthew Street and around 15-20 minutes from Albert Dock.
The grand piano is a good feature of the room.
The apartment has all the amenities you could need, full kitchen along with washing machine and a big fridge freezer.

the property was broken on arrival, the door was broken so was unable to close, imagine being females staying here while the doors did not lock. the property had been broken when we arrived and we let them know of the issues - they assured us we wouldn’t be charged as it was not our fault and they held our deposit and charged us! do not stay here we felt completely unsafe and they charged us for something we did not do. the property is located down a dingy alleyway so do not expect to feel safe at all. i’ve been liverpool plenty of times and never felt this unwelcome and unsafe before.

The apartment is lovely and is in a good location. We enjoyed the guitar and the piano in the apartment. It’s nicely decorated and fairly modern.
Things to note-
The apartment building itself is quite old and the carpets are dirty. When we first arrived, we were worried about where we had booked because it looks sketchy and dirty. However, once you get into the apartment, it is nice.
If you’re planning to visit in the summer, be aware that you can’t open the window in the bedroom so the bedroom was extremely hot, making it difficult to sleep. We asked for a fan but this was never delivered.
Key collection is at a local corner shop, not at the apartment building.
We enjoyed the apartment for the amount of living space and the large balcony. It was easy to get into the city and only ten mins from the train station. However, I don’t think we would
stay here again.

Doesn't look much from outside and lobby ways not very impressive but once you get into the apartment it's beautiful, clean, quirky, excellent size, excellent facilities and location.

the fob didn’t work to get to the apartment. so had to use the other door and go upstairs and down a smelly corridor then back downstairs. which was inconvenient especially with luggage and shopping. and there was sick in the lift. so only used that once

Katy, Joe & Team's house is wonderful. The house is bright and clean and the beds are very comfortable. The sunset view from the balcony was nice, and it was cool and nice even in summer. My child loved to play the piano. All attractions, shopping malls, pubs and restaurants are within walking distance and Tesco is very close. I stayed comfortably for 5 days and 4 nights and only used public transportation to go to Anfield. Katy, Joe & Team have great communication.

We had a 4 night stay in my “2nd home” of Liverpool.I love everything about the city,from the architecture to the people and evertything in between.You can’t have a good time here,means you can’t have a good time!Having guest Netflix was a thumbs up!
Disappointed was not the word.This place is style over substance.Every is cheap,the most quality item is the piano.Noise at night was shocking as what was previously a sliding door to the balcony has been poorly sealed.There was a draught through said door as mercifully the bedroom was far too hot.There was a cracked floor tile in the bathroom which was old as you could plainly see dirt in the cracks.Trim on vanity shelf in bathroom was not attached properly.Balcony was grubby,in spite of the no smoking policy,there was a cracked ceramic plant pot full of dog ends,months old.No one had checked that area.None of the crockery matched,and was,at best all from a car boot.Soft furnishings were to be honest not fit for purpose.One couch fine,the other not!!But not as photo’s.Coffee machine leaked and pods supplied didn’t actually make coffee!

Lo stile sarà molto gradito ai musicisti.
Il deposito trattenuto è eccessivo (300eur!!!) e più alto del previsto in fase di acquisto. Inoltre bisogna tener conto del blocco dell'istituto di credito (nel mio caso 35gg) che NON è giustificato in funzione di un soggiorno di 3 notti.
Molto articolate le info per ritirare le chiavi per late check-in o depositarle per early check-out.
A volte le info fornite dal proprietario non erano aggiornate.

The apartment was clean, spacious, modern and comfortable with standard amenities. The design was cultured and full of character, shame none of us could actually play an instrument! The location was ideal with short walks (or scooters) to the waterfront, heart of the city or Anfield. Communication with Charlie on the run up to check-in was quick and efficient. Would definitely recommend and would stay again in the future!

Fantastic location, extremely clean & had everything needed for a perfect trip away. Balcony was a nice extra especially with the brilliant weather. Property was also secure and safe.
The warm water for the shower ran off a water tank which wasn’t ideal for 4 girls getting ready, although when I contacted staff they were extremely helpful.

The whole experience was perfect for what we wanted. Exceeded our expectations and in a great location for our weekend in liverpool. Also the bed was very comfy.
The only issue we had was there was no toilet roll and i rang up to let your selves know and got told some would be dropped off the next day. Which you never did.

Fantastic apartment in a great location. Huge bonus having the piano as it’s something we usually miss while on holiday.

Me & my boyfriend stayed in this beautiful apartment for a few nights last weekend & we couldn't fault it! Really cool apartment, clean, comfortable/cosy, spacious, safe - it had everything we needed! Fantastic location as well. We had the best time exploring Liverpool day & night & can't wait to come back. It was stressful trying to get to & from Scotland/Liverpool with the storms but Katy, Joe & Team were great at communicating & so helpful!!! This a great apartment for anyone wanting to stay near the centre of Liverpool. You are a 5-10 minute walk from the shops and there are a lot of cafes and restaurants on your doorstep. The apartment is warm and comfortable with everything you need in it. There is great communication regarding check in and there was hardly any noise from the other flats. I will definitely stay here again the next time I am in Liverpool.

We stayed in this apartment for one week and had a great time! The location is excellent. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go in Liverpool within 10-20 minutes. The views are also amazing. The apartment had one of the best views of any Airbnb accomnodation we've stayed in. The apartment itself is warm, spacious and comfy. We enjoyed having a washing machine and the under-floor heating. As hosts, we had quick and helpful responses. The check in and check out process was also smooth and easy. Overall, we would definitely recommend!

Stayed here from the 23rd of October until the 28th, the apartment is exactly what you see in the pictures, it's beautiful. Very easy self check in, centrally located, really clean, less than 5 minutes from Moorfields Train station and yes we had a little try out on the piano!!

Quite happy with our one week stay. Central but quiet location. Enjoyed morning coffee on the terrace with a nice view. Spacious enough, kitchen equipment works well. The piano helped my son, the pianist, to prepare for the upcoming concert. Small wishes for owners- there are no shelves (only hangers) and hooks for towels in the apartment. It would be nice to add.

It’s a cool and amazing place with a spacious kitchen and living room. I like the piano, although its tone is not very accurate. I stayed there for a week. Except for two days where the water was cut off due to the maintenance of the water pipes on the ground floor of the apartment, the lack of cold water to use caused me a lot of inconvenience. However, I still was very satisfied with the apartment, it’s vaulted.

A great spot to stay for a few days in Liverpool. Easy to get to from the train station, very convenient check in, and within walking distance of lots of interesting places in the city. The piano wasn't in the greatest condition unfortunately, but it was still fun to play. The bed as pictured, is very low but it was fine to sleep on.
The apartment itself was great, with lots of space and natural light in the daytime. The apartment was definitely clean upon arrival, but I wouldn't say it was spotless. (It seemed like a bit of a rushed/lazy job on behalf of the cleaner).
Communication was also very good, and I didn't have any problems regarding check in/check out or any other info that I needed.
Definitely a very useful place base yourself for a Liverpool adventure.

What a place. As a keen self-taught piano player and creative, who needed some time away from the melting-pot that is London, this beautiful place was ideal. It was very close to all local amenities and tourist attractions and the heated floors are the best!
Couldn't work out how to use the lift but I treated the four-flights of stairs as my gym time ;)
Thanks again for providing this wonderful place, I have a very strong feeling that I will be back here again.

Avoid this place. The hosts were so concerned about me hosting a party when I booked that I expected perfection upon arrival. That is not at all what we received. Key picked up is at a junky convenience store a few blocks away so we lugged our bags from there to the building where we were greeted by leaking ceilings and a broken lift. We had to lug all of our baggage up 4 flights of stairs. Neighbors told us the lift breaks all the time. Then we were told the couch was broken by previous tenants but it was down played. It was in pieces. Honestly wanted to cancel our booking but due to a busy day in Liverpool, there was no availability elsewhere at that point. Biggest Airbnb disappointment yet.

What a wonderful space! This is a pure gem, located right in the centre of Liverpool. The grand piano was certainly an excellent touch, and was well used during our time there. The space is airy, bright and modern with everything you could need. Waking up to the Liverpool skyline was a welcome view and we were just a stone's throw away from everywhere we wanted to visit. The hosts were friendly and very easy and quick to contact, faultless really! Would highly recommend a visit to any potential guests, it really made our Liverpool experience and is more than worth the money!

A great place to stay if you're a music lover - the piano and the guitar made this a unique airbnb experience! The apartment is in a great location, check-in is very straightforward, and communication with the hosts was excellent. My friends and I did feel that 'luxury' isn't quite the word to describe the apartment - there are no curtains in the main room so if you're sleeping on the sofa beds it will be very bright in the morning. There were also a couple of other little issues like lack of hand-wash in the bathroom and appliances that didn't work very well. It's a standard apartment equipped with the basics, and a good base if you're in Liverpool for a short stay.

The apartment is right in the city centre. You can't find a better place to explore the city by foot. And many bars are a few steps away (gay area is just across the street).
The building is well maintained and very quiet as it is situated on a side street but take some earplugs because seagulls are REALLY loud at 5am... futon bed is comfy but very low (it's a futon...). Flat is BIG and the balcony is great. Downsides (reported to the owner): coffee machine didn't work, kettle only. No curtains in the lounge so for guests sleeping in the sofas, it's too bright in the morning. Toaster doesn't stay down, need to be replaced.
An overall great experience and Liverpool is amazing !

The Musician’s Apartment is in such a great location. The street is quiet, and there’s parking just a couple of minutes away, and all Liverpool’s main attractions are walkable. The apartment is huge, and there’s loads of space to comfortably spread out. The kitchen is well-equipped too. There’s a lift up to the apartment on the fourth floor, so it’s no problem getting your luggage up there. Nice comfy bed, though getting out of such a low one with a wooden shelf all around it proved to be both tricky and cramp-inducing!

Perfect location for all the main attractions whilst also being in a relatively quiet area, just off the main streets.
A lovely big and bright space which would be great to stay in for longer than the weekend we were there as the kitchen is spacious with everything you could need (we think!) if you wanted to cook a few dinners.
The place was spotlessly clean when we arrived and checkin was seamless, with great preemptive communication and directions. We had everything we might need in terms of bedding, towels and bathroom basics so could travel light. There was a Tesco Express 5 mins down the road if any additional things were required anyway!
We had a lovely time and loved this being our base for a few nights. The piano was a highlight :)

The only complaint we would have is that it’s in the 4th floor and the lift was out of service so anyone staying for a few days expect a lot of trips up and down stairs.

This is a really stylish place to stay with a huge living room - great for a couple or for a group. I happened to be on my own and enjoyed living there very much. It's very well equipped, the bed is comfy and there are now curtains in the bedroom so I slept very well. The balcony is fab and if it's warm it's lovely to have the doors open into the living room. Apartment, building and communication was great. I don't have any suggestions what to improve, because we had only good impressions. Great view from balcony. One key (C2) on a piano didn't work well, but that's just a joke :-)

Wonderfull hosts! Their idea for check in is awsome and it is very practicle. In our opinion it makes sence to add courtains in leaving room, due to morning clarity (we are not used to it just that)

Excellent appartment situated a couple of minutes from Matthew Street for great bars and entertainment. Very clean, all mod cons and the Hosts were just a phone call away to help with any questions. I would recommend them to anyone visiting the City.

Brilliant location! Nice flat, really well equipped. We were four persons and found it spacious. Sleeping in the living room could have been a bit more comfortable (blinds and a better sleeping sofa). Otherwise perfect for a weekend in Liverpool!

If you’re looking for an apartment that is centrally located, but still quiet, then this is it! Everything you would want is nearby and the host’s recommendations for food & drink were spot on. I think we went almost everywhere on their list and it was amazing.

Good location, modern and stylish flat. There aren’t any blinds in the flat so the sunlight woke us up and we were unable to get changed in the bedroom as a result. The lift in the building was slightly problematic. I liked the tips that the host provided and made good use of them. I would book again but the lack of blinds/privacy have put us off.

This apartment is A*! Clean, stylish, fabulous decor and a HUGE balcony where you can spot the Liver Building. Kitchen and bathroom are spot on - there’s even a waterfall shower! The hosts were great, professional and made sure we settled in with ease whilst being on call to answer any questions.
It’s super close to lots of brilliant places in Liverpool City Centre - including Albert Dock, Liverpool One and main nightlife spots. You can walk to most places in less than ten minutes. There’s also a supermarket just around the corner. Highly recommend as a base for your stay in Liverpool!

Tuvimos un problema con el agua y nos querían cambiar a un apartamento que estaba más lejos, y al apartamento no vino ningún fontanero para arreglar dicho problema.

The flat is beautifully presented and in a perfect location to visit the sights and sounds of Liverpool city centre.
Before we arrived the communication was excellent with really clear instructions of how to access the building.
The flat was clean with everything you could need for a weekend stay (iron and hair dryer).
6 of us stayed in the apartment and there was ample space (if you don't mind sharing beds)
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this flat to anyone in the future.

This place is awesome! It's quiet & comfortable & so tidy & clean. It's so close to walk to all of the places you'll want to visit if you're looking for the whole British Music Experience. There's lots of different places to eat & a market around the corner too. You won't be disappointed if you choose to stay here!
