Absolutely loved my stay here. The apartment was genuinely exactly like the pictures. You get great entry to and from the property directly from the road, and it's located in a very peaceful neighbourhood.
I must say I was very happy with the cleanliness and hygiene of the property. I felt very comfortable immediately upon my arrival.
It's such a shame the property doesn't have it's own parking just outside the door, because that would have made this place perfect.
I must also mention that I'm very impressed with the number of bedrooms they have managed to fit in here.
My bed in the main room was a little uncomfortable for me, but it wasn't a bad bed. The hot tub in the room more than makes up for it.
Overall, a really great stay at a really great location.

The mattresses are cheap, very soft.
The vertical blinds in the living area/top of the front wall are missing - privacy issue when on upstairs landing.
Some of the vertical blinds elsewhere are broken.

Location was very good, easy walk into the centre of town. Taxi about £8 to get back to property
Some maintenance niggles were dealt with quickly and efficiently.
Facilities were good such as microwave, dish washer washing machine. Tesco express 5 minutes away.

There were 6 adults in our party but only enough comfortable seating for 4. We stayed for 5 nights.

Location was good and facilities were ok.

The property was so unclean, it was hard for me to stay. There were hairs everywhere (pubic, head and dog hairs) as well as blood stains on one of the bed sheets. There was a moth infestation and carpet all ripped up at the entrance to one of the bedrooms. Sofa was extremely uncomfortable and we couldn’t get the heating or hot water on as the instructions they had left for the boiler, were for a boiler that didn’t exist in the property. The stay wasn’t cheap either, over £700 for two nights, so I expected a lot more. I have raised all this in a formal complaint which has just been ignored; I’d avoid at all costs.

The top lock broke on our first day and we were outside on the pavement. Luckily we got it to work after 20 minutes with 3 people trying. We were told a locksmith would come but no one came at all for the full rest of the duration of our stay! We had to leave the top lock on the latch and only use the bottom lock if we wanted to go out!!!
The kitchen is not very well equipped. There are no baking dishes and the cutlery is very poor quality.
It’s a shame as it looks lovely but then the finishing touches let it down - and the beds are a bit narrow for the bedrooms and not very comfortable

The host was easy to communicate with, and the location is great.
The place is cozy, but in desperate need of some TLC. The cleaning routines should be better with dead flies laying around, dust and hair on the floor, couch and around windows. The bathrooms seemed clean.
There was a weird smell, and hard to regulate the temperature.
All over an okay place to sleep for a few days, but it was not that pleasant to hang out there.

Could not fault the staff and service from the Host, particularly Charlie who was always so quick to get back to me and really helpful. Clear instructions to get in and the street was dead quiet but close to the city centre!
The reason I dropped a star is because it does need some TLC. A lot of broke appliances (bin, draws, toilet seat, carpet to name a few) and also my pillow was not clean and covered in makeup stains. There are cracks in the plaster on the ceiling, couch is covered in stains, hot water was temperamental, no privacy glass. These were little things but would really make a difference if the owner put in just a little bit of money …
But I did think we paid a good price so would return to this host again! Thank you

Good location!

Property was not cleaned at all, we arrived late in the night so plenty time for property to get cleaned. We found fake nails on the floors, dust clump, fake eyelashes. I would say all that was done from last group to us was the bed linen changed and that was it. Not nice for the money we payed

Quiet location but close to plenty of bars and restaurants along Hardman St and on bus route for city centre & airport. Only 10-15 min walk into shopping area. Nice size for 3 couples, kitchen well equipped, warm & what we expected.

May be some drainage issues as a funny smell when entering the property! Beds a bit soft for our liking. Integrated fridge freezer doors need fixing or just removing as you have to open the cupboard doors before the fridge door which was a bit annoying.

We’re old school, Would have liked an accurate map of local area and info about distances to attractions.
Housekeeping needs attention - dusty.
Strange assortment of crockery/cutlery but non sufficient to max occupancy.

Arriving late on a Friday night after having spent all afternoon at the hospital, to find a broken bed was not a great start. Then the cleanliness of the place also wasn't great (dirty sofa, FILTHY window sils with about 15 flies, hairs on the tiles in the en suite) and little things like kitchen cabinets not fitting, broken pendant lamp... It all added up.
On the face of it, the appartment looks great. However it is tired, needs a proper clean and the beds fixing.
After getting in touch as soon as we checked in, we were told someone would come on the second day (while we were out at a wedding all day and night) to sort the bed and clean the areas we mentioned weren't. However, when we arrived back the at the ppartment in the early hours of Sunday morning, no one had been and the bed was still broken. My fiance is 34 weeks pregnant, so the bed issue was one we couldn't get past.
Not good value for money, wouldn't recommend until they sort the issues out.

Great communication & the property was absolutely fine. It felt a bit smaller than in photos & alley way was a little bit grotty - but the property was NOZT GROTTY AT ALL. Bed in master bedroom was a bit uncomfortable, very soft mattress & wobbly bed head. Also , one handle missing g from the bedroom door. Nice to have bathroom products.

First impressions of the property were good. The rooms were spacious as photos. It was in the Georgian quarter. Parking was a short walk away and as described. The location was great with a shop at the end of the road. It was around 15 minutes walk to the center. The Uber drivers where amazing
The beds were comfy
The people of Liverpool were very welcoming.

1. The booking system is annoying. We booked on booking.com then I have to rebook on the host page and pay a Security deposit charge.
2. The faulty boiler (we did report a problem, which they did resolve the following day. However The first night was freezing, we also had limited heating the second night) for this reason we would NOT stay here again, and to be honest if they valve us as a customer they should have been given a reduction in the rate.
3. The coldness of the property. Only one radiator works in the first floor bedroom. The rad' by the front door doesn't work. The temporary portable radiator do not work.
4. The flys.
5. The massive gap in the front door.
6. Owners ration supplies. The heating is programmed to go off after one hour. Really not a good move for February ! They also rationed coffee pod (one each), dish washer tables (X2) left on a clean tea towel. Which marked the tea towel.
7. The 10am check out! The text message reminded us that we had to be out of the property on the Sunday morning. When we had already left. This is unheard of in Liverpool. With no option for a later check out.

Loved the accommodation! Was just like the pictures.
Hosts were fantastic with communication and always got back to us extremely quickly.
Location is good for taxi journey to Liverpool. You could walk, but not in heels.
The only downside of the property was the smell. From the moment we arrived there was a drain smell that would not go.
Other than this a fab property and great value for money. Thank you ☺️

Lovely apartment. With everything we needed. Beds were so comfortable and the location was really quiet. Loved the fact that there were 2 baths!

Check in was delayed and we hadn’t been notified. However the cleaners were lovely and allowed us to leave our luggage while we headed into town.
There was a problem with the heating but this was resolved promptly.
The only thing I didn’t like was there were lots of flies in the apartment. Oh and the creaky stairs were a bit annoying!

Classy and mostly well equipped but the downstairs bedroom set up that is clearly a feature was disappointing. The 'stable doors' didn't fully close or lock. The bath and shower had sketchily intermittent hot water. A bigger bed would have made me happy.

The dead blue bottles on the floor and kitchen work tops with some still flying about , also the upstairs shower that the 2 bedrooms share the shower screen isn’t fitted properly so the water pours out onto the floor , mentioned already in a few review back but thought this issue had been fixed

Nice place. Well kitted out with modern utilities. Just needed to twist a thermostat dial to heat up the house or cool it down in the evenings. Espresso Coffee maker was great nice touch. No complaints, we'll back.
Sorry, one issue was parking. We parked around the block on a quiet road. It did say something about resident parking only 8am - 6pm but so did every road in that area. I asked a neighbour, they said it would be fine at weekends. And there were loads of empty spaces everywhere. However, unbelievably some warden gave us a parking ticket on Sunday morning at 9.30am!!! On a bank holiday weekend n all. Madness. Anyway, we're Irish so we don't have to pay :-)
But I do think Joe & Katy should work out a parking disc, seeing as they own a property there and as such entitled to free parking there. Just an idea

So the place itself is great. Just a couple of maintenance issues, with a loose shower fitting and toilet seat. Wi-Fi was very patchy too, and parking is tricky. Otherwise very clean and comfortable. Perfect for exploring Liverpool city Centre.

Check in and check out was very easy and straightforward and the hosts were very helpful prior to our stay recommending parking, things to do, places to eat etc.

Great location, lovely property. some tlc was needed, such as in the bathroom, taps, and waste broken. in downstairs bedroom the clothes rail came off the wall as soon as you hung one item on it, lose fixings. Door lock needs attention. shame, otherwise it was a lovely place to stay. Yes, I would go back if the need was there.

Beautifully presented with lovely fixtures and fittings, spotlessly clean, well equipped.

Our only niggle was the lack of broadband and Wi-Fi which meant that we couldn’t watch the beautiful big smart TV in the evenings but that was all and communication with the hosts was good as they apologised for the temporary problem which they knew about and will be fixed. There really was nothing else not to like. Recommend.

pillows were very uncomfortable. shower leaked. blinds downstairs were not very good the light came in too much so it was very light first thing in the morning! walls very thin you can hear conversations downstairs when in bed upstairs! I asked to checkout at 11am as that’s the usual time I checkout when i stay in Liverpool and they wanted £20 which I thought was quite harsh.

We spent a lovely few days at Katy and Joes and found it totally met our requirements as we're spending much of the time visiting family in Wallasey. Beds were lovely and comfortable. There is limited comfortable seating if spending any length of time in the accommodation - a good excuse for spending additional time in the comfortable beds. Also one of our party was working from home during the course of our stay and it would be helpful if there was a desk or table for this purpose in one of the bedrooms- the dining table and benches are not really suitable for this purpose. These issues did not affect the quality of our stay. A small welcome pack of essentials may also be a nice touch - we had gone equipped with our own and it would also be nice if the heating could be switched on prior to arrival particularly if wet or cold - would be more welcoming.
We loved our stay - top class accommodation and we were very comfortable - any queries were responded too promptly. Will stay again.

Other than that we had a fantastic stay, great location, walking distance to everywhere, peaceful and quiet. We love Liverpool.
