Charlie was a brilliant host and always had quick and helpful responses to any questions we had. It’s in a brilliant, quiet but lively part of the city and the view from the apartment is fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Liverpool and are already talking about coming again, hopefully here again!

Great penthouse apartment. Stunning views across the city. Everything you need, big table for eating, substantial kitchen, living area and bedrooms. Plenty of reasonably priced long stay car parks nearby. I would book in advance for guaranteed space though. 10-15 minute walk to city centre and Albert Docks or 3-4 minutes if you decide to Uber. Lots of places to grab something to eat or drink nearby if you don’t fancy walking far. I’d recommend ‘Love Lane Brewery’ tap room. Some hidden gems locally as well, The ‘Bridewell’ was a great pub tucked away on a quiet back lane near the city. It’s an old Police Station with seating areas in old holding cells (very quirky) Great Asian supermarket directly across the road if you like that kind of thing, we love it. Also KFC and McD’s within a few minutes walk. Host was very helpful and provided all the information needed for our stay. Overall, great apartment. Just needs a little tlc but that’s only my perspective. Highly recommend!

Great place and value for money, no issues with the property etc at all but make sure you read the check in instructions properly as I missed the part about having to collect the keys from a nearby shop which made the check in confusing at first

Great apartment with excellent views in a good location about 15 minutes easy stroll into Town or 10 minutes to the docks. Apartment was clean and as described. Host was friendly and responsive. Key collection was easy and the shop to collection from is literally 1 min away. The front door is a little off it's angle. It needs a good slam to close fully and to be honest I wasn't able to lock it from inside throughout our stay but being 9 floors up and on the other side of 2 security codes for access we felt safe enough anyway. Apartment is recommended but I should hope the management company address the issue with the door.

We were happy with the accommodation, and have absolutely no complaints regarding communication, access, and the apartment itself. The accommodation is exactly as described.However,during our stay both lifts were out of order for 24 hrs. I wouldn't normally comment about this, as it could happen anywhere, but a resident advised us that it is, in fact, a regular occurrence and, given that the penthouse is some 170 steps from the ground floor, would create a problem for many, especially arriving with luggage.There is also the issue of the 'No Airbnb permitted in the building ' sign in the lobby. The owner advised prior to arrival that we should ignore this but we were told on site, that it is an issue, and basically, we shouldn't be there. Not an ideal situation, more an uncomfortable one. My husband is elderly and has a heart condition so the issue with the lift would likely preclude us from returning.

Just returned from our 4 night stay at the Baltic Penthouse 2. Great location and everything is within walking distance. We did have a few issues upon arrival, but this was soon addressed and did not impact our stay here. A lovely weekend with family in Liverpool.

Found the check-in process to be convoluted, and even after numerous calls to the hosts it didn’t fully get resolved. The key fob to the building never worked. We were initially tailgating people into the building which is unsafe but we didn’t have any other options to start with. Eventually we were given a code for the building door instead which did work, but shouldn’t have needed it in the first place. The front door to the apartment could also do with a new lock, it’s hard to shut and hard to lock. The actual apartment is great. Spacious, clean, modern, and as described. The sofa beds are more than good enough comfort-wise for sofa beds. I have no complaints about the actual apartment, but the key situation was frustrating and though we were helped eventually, it took a considerable amount of time to sort. Overall I thought the stay was worth it. You won’t get many nicer apartments so close to the city centre for that price.

This was a great apartment with lovely views over Liverpool. Really well situated to walk straight out the door and get exploring. The apartment had plenty of space, was nicely laid out and was very good value for money. We had a brilliant trip and would happily recommend this place to others.

Upon our arrival, we encountered several inconveniences. Firstly, we had to retrieve the keys from a convenience store two blocks away, which was quite inconvenient after a tiring journey from California and three kids. Despite requesting an early check-in and a late check-out (11 pm check-in and 1 pm check-out), we were informed that we would be charged 5 pounds per luggage at the office. This resulted in additional Uber rides and discomfort for my family, particularly one of my children who was unwell. To add to the frustration, we had to vacate the property by 10 am on the day of check-out and wait for hours with all our luggage, contrary to our agreed check-out time. I strongly believe that these inconveniences should have been properly addressed,. Luckily, our stay at an Airbnb in London was a stark comparison, as it was truly enjoyable. It's disappointing that this experience was marred by such simple inconvenience

We stayed for the weekend for a Taylor Swift concert and had a great time. The apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortable and in a great location. There were nice views of the sunset and everything you could need was in walking distance. You have to pick the keys up from a local shop but it’s a few minutes away so that was not an issue. There is parking close by it’s on a small street so unloading needs to be fast! The communal entry area is not great and quite dirty but once you get into the apartment it’s fine. As mentioned in other reviews, you have to pay £25 insurance before you arrive which I have never had to do in any Airbnb but this didn’t feel like an Airbnb in the normal way, it’s very much a business. The main issue was we only had one set of keys the whole time which was a pain but we made it work as it was a short stay!!!

Great location, walkable to many sights of Liverpool, and comfortable/spacious apartment for a family of 4. Beds and shower pressure were good quality, kitchen table is expansive, and the living room is a fabulous space to gather and enjoy the views. We unfortunately did not have a positive check in experience. I messaged repeatedly asking for instructions and specifically asked for the address to pick up the keys for the Uber driver, noting that I would not have internet once in transit. I was told twice it was self check in with a code at the unit, which was not correct, so my family of four was locked out and had to walk to pick up keys with all of our luggage. As other reviews have noted, there was a non refundable security deposit and the lobby area is not well kept. We were also disappointed that the telescope was not usable (the scope was sealed shut). On balance, the unit was fairly priced, met our family’s needs, and we were content with our stay.

Pros: very quiet, great views, lovely apartment, friendly host, great amenities (fast internet!). Cons: non refundable 25 deposit required after purchase. Not so private terrace was not accessible (locked). Really good overall if you want quiet, views and to be central. Would stay again.

Baltic Apartments is well positioned to offer both peace and quiet from the vibrant city life and privacy as well as affording easy access to the delights of Liverpool City all within walking distance. The unit itself feels spacious and decadent and the view is spectacular. Katy, Joe and Team were amazing, helpful and exceptionally good at responding to our queries both before, during and after our stay. Thank you so much for an amazing experience. We cannot wait for our next visit and hope to stay here again.

Very nice and clean apartment with great views over Liverpool. Thanks to good description and photos easy to find. Plenty of pubs nearby. This should be taken into account if you prefer a peaceful environment. The center is in walking distance.

Lovely top floor flat with lots of views across Liverpool. Very clean and well kitted out. Tea, coffee and sugar provided. Good beds and plenty room for 5 people. Easy walk to Beatles story, harbour and to the shopping district.

Perfect location for 4 lads from the US visiting Liverpool for the Open. Everything was as advertised. Easy to walk to coffee shops and a few restaurants. Uber readily available to take you anywhere else.

We travelled to attend a graduation ceremony at Liverpool University. The apartment is in a great location a 10 minute walk from the city centre, university and shops with great amenities and restaurants nearby., Te apartment is well appointed, modern and spacious to accomodate a family of 8. I cannot recommend the support and advice from Katie, Charlie and Joe enough - well done guys.

The flat was a superb find and would be very happy to stay there again if I visit Liverpool. It is exactly as described in the pictures and also a short walk to the M and S arena where our daughter was competing in a cheerleading competition.

Great location and great modern space - modern and clean with dishwasher and washing machine. Great for walking much of Liverpool. Katy Joe and team were very responsive to texts, we had a few minor matters easily and quickly resolved. Access and getting the key was easy. Have to agree with previous comment the Lobby is a bit dirty and the smell of the bins very unexpected however this is not what the unit is like. You wouldn’t be disappointed staying here. In all a great mixer space for exploring much of Liverpool

We recently stayed here for a girls weekend getaway, my first time in Liverpool and the property did not disappoint. Fabulous location and the duplex apartment was beautiful with amazing views over the city….the hosts were also great with super easy check in/check out instructions provided ahead of our visit, and were always on hand should be have needed them for anything with great communication about everything we might need during our stay. We all loved our stay and were sad to leave at the end of our long weekend away. It was my first time in beautiful Liverpool and it won’t be my last…I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this apartment and it’s hosts to anyone.

We had a fabulous stay at the apartment, which felt more like a house. The apartment itself is super clean and everything felt brand new. We ended up giving our two children (age 6 and 9) a bedroom each and my husband and I stayed in the lounge as the sofa beds were super comfy. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us and the building is quiet. It's in a very handy location, you can walk to the docks or into Chinatown within 15 minutes. Very responsive, helpful hosts and check-in and out was super quick and easy. I would have no hesitation in recommending here if you are planning a visit to Liverpool.

We stayed here for a couple days while visiting Liverpool for the Aintree Grand National. Katy & Joe were absolutely fantastic from the minute we booked. Clear instructions on how to check in, suggestions on where to visit and mainly a really nice play to stay. It had everything we needed and more. We’ll definitely be using these guys again when we visit next year. Thanks again guys, you’ve been brilliant.
