Even after reconfirming our booking with host and stay when we showed up to the property someone else was living there. No trust in this company. They did not offer us alternative accommodation and we were out of pocket when we had to book alternatives. All they offered was 20% off our next booking, which is laughable as we would never trust booking with them again.

Did get a chance as when arrived was told it shouldn’t have been let out n has been booked in for a refurbishment

Arrived at property n collected keys.. when trying to access property the keys wouldn’t work and could hear dogs on other side of door barking and scratching.
Host and Stay rang while outside property to say we cannot stay at property as it shouldn’t have been available to let.
Couldn’t find anywhere in Liverpool to stay as the city was fully booked for events.. Host and Stay quick to take your money n thinks only an apology is efficient enough. Will never book with them again

The property clearly has a leak and a damp problem that has been going on for some time. The front bedroom is unusable, the smell is very strong and the carpet has big wet patches in both bedrooms. Hidden among reviews you can see this has clearly been a problem for a while, I wish I had looked closer before I booked.

Before my stay, I had several questions about the room, to which the host responded very promptly. However, when I initially asked if there were any additional fees beyond the cleaning fee, the response became noticeably slower, as if avoiding the question. After booking, I was informed that on top of the Airbnb price, I would have to pay an extra deposit. There were two options: a non-refundable deposit of £25 or a refundable deposit of £250, from which only £240 would be returned, the remaining £10 being treated as a management fee. Both of these deposit payments were to be made outside of the Airbnb platform, which I found to be unreasonable. Initially, I refused to pay the deposit, but was then told that I could not stay without making this payment. This left me feeling quite displeased.
And the wireless network in the apartment is very slow, often unable to connect in the bedroom

Plenty of space upstairs to chill with friends, and take in the beautiful views.

The cleanliness of the flat was the main thing. Feels it needs a little TLC in some areas, stains on bed in master bedroom and on the blanket and cushions in the other bedroom.

A delightful apartment. On floor number 9, with a spectacular view. The intercom works perfectly. The living room is a delight to stay in, the kitchen is very well equipped, I loved it. It's not that central, but walking 10/15 minutes takes you to the center. I really loved the stay. I would stay more often.

Not a dislike but could have done with a few more keys into the apartment. 2 fobs between 8 was a task making sure everyone got back safe. But just a personal preference and nothing against the booking

The apartment in general was dirty, but the bed sheets were repulsive. They contained pubic hairs and fluid spots from previous guests. All beds were the same. The spare linen was also dirty (blankets, covers). We called Host & Stay the same day asking for the linen to be changed, but they didn't do it. Three days later, when we left, there was a plastic bag with some linen at the door. We slept in these conditions for 2 nights. The mattress in the main bedroom was an uncomfortable piece of foam. The extractors of the bathrooms didn't work. The apartment was rented for 6 people but there were just for 4 dirty yellow chairs to sit on. We could not use 2 of the chairs because they were broken, and it was unsafe to sit on them. The stay was a disaster. We felt robbed. Horrible experience. I have trying to get a partial refund/ compensation from the company "Host and Stay", because they could not provide clean linen (vital requirement when you hire any type of accommodation) but they offer to discount for me the $35 for cleaning and the offer a 20% discount if I book any other accommodation with them in the future. As if we are going to do that! I paid a lot of money for the apartment and if anyone asks me how my experience in Liverpool was, the first thing that comes to my head are those dirty sheets. Sincerely, I don't think I am using this type of short accommodation apps and services anymore. They don't give a dam about the customers. We are really a number to them. What disgusting holidays!

Chegando ao local de retirada das chaves (uma loja de conveniências), nos foi exigido o tal código de acesso que o Booking removeu por considerar atividade suspeita. Pois bem, daí começamos a saga para contato. Ninguém nos respondia através da plataforma, foi necessário ligar e mesmo alguém fluente em inglês, teve dificuldade em entender as instruções, dificultando muito o check in, algo que poderia ter sido simples se as respostas às mensagens de texto não fossem automáticas.
Chegando ao edifício onde fica o apartamento nos deparamos com inúmeras placas informando que é proibida a locação através de airbnb e Booking, algo que nos deixou um pouco receosos, embora tenha dado tudo certo.
Quanto ao apartamento: Fica distante à pé do Centro. Não há restaurantes próximos e os pubs existentes só vendem bebida. Nenhum vende petiscos. Há necessidade de pegar uber para todos os deslocamentos. Ao menos, o transporte de uber é barato.
O apartamento fica na área externa do edifício e, apesar da vista linda, com chuva e frio o acesso ao imóvel fica ruim, pois não há cobertura.

O manual de uso do imóvel encaminhado pelo tal link removido pelo booking é bem genérico, e deixa de dar informações importantes, como o uso do controle de temperatura, algo que teria sido facilmente resolvido se as respostas às mensagens não fossem automáticas ou se quem fica no atendimento ao cliente por telefone tivesse mais autonomia ou conhecimento para resolver os problemas. No terceiro dia foi necessário o envio de um funcionário que constatou que o controle de temperatura estava com timer, ou seja, foram duas noites congelando por dificuldade na comunicação. Importante destacar, mais uma vez, que nenhuma solução nos foi dada através de mensagens, sendo necessário entrar em contato por telefone todas as vezes, logo, se não saber falar inglês, terá problemas.
O apartamento é novo, muito bem decorado e com uma vista linda da parte industrial de Liverpool. Camas confortáveis e banheiros perfeitos, contudo, na entrada dos quartos há uma grande infiltração nos tapetes e andar descalço é desagradável, pois o chão fica molhado.
Um dos quartos, embora muito confortável, é bem pequeno, e não cabe malas grandes, sendo necessário levá-las para o segundo andar, ou seja, se tiver malas pesadas para carregar, pode ser um problema.

The location was good.

The communal area was dirty- with worrying signs of burglary and theft from police. And signs of no air bnbs allowed so this was concerning.
The property was not clean, dirty carpets and floors.
A horrible smell of damp, and wet carpets.

Colllecting keys was straight forward. However getting in to the property when no key code had been provided was stressful.
Views were beautiful.
Upstairs area was spacious, inviting & well equipped.

Not being given a key code to get into property.
Signage in lobby and on doors saying NO Airbnb permitted and to contact your hosts to get your money back.
On entering apartment the smell of damp.
Quick scout around apartment we used toilet facilities - toilet seat hanging off en-suite. Sink in en-suite blocked and regurgitating black gunk/debris!!
Stains on some towels.
Went straight out as had plans.
Arrived back later in evening.
Damp smell was worse.
Walked into bedroom bare-footed and then noticed wet patch on carpet. On further investigation noticed damp patches on walls of main bedroom and main bathroom.
It was cold as no central heating on and couldn’t find any controls.
2 small electric radiators for whole apartment not good enough.
One family member got locked in main bathroom as door wouldn’t open from inside - this is a health & safety hazard, as dangerous if you were the only occupant.
Emailed Host & Stay regarding some issues - replied that they would let maintenance know???
Next morning out of 5 occupants only 1 managed to have a WARM shower!! Rest of us had freezing cold showers!!
We phoned Host & Stay about issues - eventually got thru but were cut off during call & surprisingly couldn’t get thru again?!!!
Also 2nd Bedroom door if shut couldn’t be opened from hallway ANOTHER DANGEROUS H&S issue esp if you were staying on your own.

In closing I booked this accommodation in good faith & with high expectations after researching all the ‘excellent’ reviews. It was a weekend break with my 4 daughters. 2 of whom had come home for Xmas from travelling. I did not expect to be having to sort issues/problems all weekend when I had read such ‘excellent’ reviews! Also to receive an email on the day of arrival to say ignore the signs about Airbnb not being permitted was very stressful/uncomfortable to say the least!!!!

Great views and excellent for a group of friends for the weekend. Apartment was very spacious and check in and out was straight foward.

When you come out of the lift on level 9, entry to the apartment is outside which can be intimidating as it is so high up.

After having our holiday to Mallorca cancelled hour before flight. We booked apartment in Liverpool. On outskirts of Liverpool received email saying booking cancelled. Family distraught obviously.
Arrived at your office, not in good mood to say the least.
Heather brilliant, explained what problem was and stayed beyond her working hours to find a solution.
Heather helped us choose alternative, better apartment with small terrace and excellent views over Mersey and Pier Head in Baltic Triangle, for same price as cancelled apartment.
Heather's above and beyond approach was very much appreciated by myself and family.
We really enjoyed our time and could put disappointment behind us.
We would like to thank Heather, Charlie and team for turning some dark black cloud's into rainbows and sunshine. That's not me being prosaic, that's exactly what we could see from our alternative apartment.
We will most definitely book again. Hopefully with the discount still available. ☹️🌈🌞🥰Mark and family

Stayed here for a couple of nights with family. Place was immaculate and exactly as described. Only a few minutes wall from the Albert dock and L1 shopping area. Ideal spot, and we'll definitely be back in the future.

Inundated with emails, phone calls & messages from AirB&B throughout which said the same thing ie looking into missing TV remote! Very stressful and not useful. Notice went up in building on 2nd day saying AirB&B not allowed in. Very strange! No coffee making machine which, considering cost of purchase, should be in Penthouse Flat

Overall, a good apartment and short walk to the docks. When we arrived, we noticed the apartment floors hadn’t been vacuumed or mopped (for hard floor areas). This was the only let down.
Great comms from the hosts and overall enjoyable experience.

Modern penthouse with great amenities and stunning views in a fantastic location. Communication throughout booking process and during our stay was superb. Key collection was easy. Clean and comfortable (7 adults in our party), would 100% recommend!

Only 1 lift working out of 2 during our entire stay which caused some delays due to us being on the top floor and a group of 7 adults. Also no hot water for one morning (a building-wide issue), but a late checkout was granted for our inconvenience which was a lovely gesture and much appreciated - thank you!

Great apartment, exactly as described. Modern, nicely furnished, had everything we needed. Comfy beds. Extremely clean. Fantastic views across the city as it’s the penthouse on the 9th floor. Within walking distance of Liverpool one and the ACC. The hosts even provided a fan which was great in the hot weather.
The only downsides were the spare key was missing and one window mechanism was broken, but the hosts were extremely responsive to messages and assured me they would sort them. To be fair if no one has told them before they can’t fix it. Everything else was to a very high standard and communication was great.

The apartment was stunning and had everything that we could possibly need. We were a group of 4 girls stopping over bank holiday. Picking up the keys so easy and given plenty of instruction of the location of the apartment and the codes we needed. I would definitely book this apartment again 5*

A lovely, cosy apartment, in a hip neighbourhood. Walking distance to some of the best attractions in town (Albert Dock, city centre, etc.). The communication from the hosts was excellent throughout, they were quick to answer any question, check in was smooth, and overall, a very pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend!

Great location and the apartment itself was superb. The entrance and access (as it was shared with many others) was often busy as other residents were obviously moving in/out and as only one lift working access to the 9th floor(which had fantastic views) took awhile. We however had a great stay and would consider using again. The sofa beds were acceptable but nowhere as good as the beds. Although the team were quick to explain the spare key situation, only having the one key fob to enter the building was a little restrictive if half of our party wanted to return at a different time. This was the only real downside to our stay.

Apartment was very modern and spotless

Location a bit out of the way of the city centre and ment we spent alot of money on taxis also as there was only one fob to get into the building it ment we all had to come home at the same time . The lift and entrance lobby was a bit grubby with strong smell of bins not the same standard as the apartment it's self.

Apartamento excelente , muy bien situado y muy bien equipado.
Tuvimos dos problemas fundamentales para los que no nos aportaron solución.
En primer lugar sólo nos dejaron una llave para la puerta del portal por lo que siendo 4 personas fue bastante incómodo durante nuestra estancia tener que depender de que hubiera alguien en el apartamento.
No nos dieron solución a pesar de indicarlo nada más llegar.
No hubo agua caliente durante nuestra estancia , enviaron unos técnicos pero no lo pudieron solucionar y estuvimos 2 noches sin poder ducharnos.
Hemos de indicar que nos ofrecieron una pequeña compensación por este problema , al menos demostraron ser conscientes de lo incómodo de la situación.

The place was at a great location, there is a parking nearby, and a nice walk to the main attractions.
There is a convenient store very close, and the views from the apartment are marvellous.
We got everything we needed to have a pleasant stay from the first day.
