Extremely disappointed with this. I personally booked this for my wife and her friend for a weekend away and to go to a Spa close by.
The check in process was awful. The Keys weren't in the place specified. Spent about an hour sorting out how to get the keys and on the phone to multiple people.
Both bathrooms were mouldy and the En Suite smelt really badly of mould.
The door to the apartment didn't lock properly. Luckily, there was a chain. Even after they thought they'd managed to lock the door, someone had opened it from the outside. For two women in an unfamiliar city, this made them feel very unsafe.
The check out process was just as bad as check in. Check out was by 10am but none of the shops, where the keys were supposed to be returned, were even open. Ended up having to contact the host again just to be given somewhere to drop the keys off.
I made my unhappiness clear to the host and if there was a process to get a refund, I would be doing it.
I'm afraid I wouldn't recommend.

Slight wear and tear on the property - paint could do with a slight update.
Door/key was incredibly difficult to open and door handle was very loose.
Had to collect key from a convenience store 8 min walk away and they didn’t seem to have a clue. Code didn’t work and when rang the number, it was a call centre (not a personal touch) and took a while to sort.

The property was nice as pictured. Good location. 2 showers but only 2 people showered then it was cold showers for the rest of us.

I wouldn’t recommend. Always book through booking.com have never had hassle like we had with this one. We arrived didn’t know how to get in, rang the number we were told we had to pay another £30 to be told where and how to get into the property, this should have been included in the price originally. Paid the money then we were told we had to go to another location to get the key, it was a 5 minute drive but would have been a 15 minute walk. We were given the wrong code to collect the key, so had to ring back and sit on hold, got through and got a code that worked. When we got back the gate wouldn’t open to get to the car park, had to ring again, there was a parking space included someone was parked in this, we were told to leave a note on the car, and told to pay for parking in the multiple storey car park we asked if this could be reimbursed as the property was advertised as parking included, they said they would check then hung up the phone. Was issues from the start, the fact we ended up paying £50 more when we should have been discounted for all the issues it appalling. Showers were cold after 2 people showering as well.

The fob provided was broken so we couldn’t get into the building until someone who lives there let us in. There was NO access to the car park. The fob did not work and there is no one local to help.

Property was clean and comfortable. Two bathrooms between 4 girls was a life saver, it was great to have plates mugs cutlery and bottle openers provided. The iron was heroic, I’ve stayed in some hotels that don’t even provide one so I was so grateful for one. Fantastic location just off bold street, so super central for roaming the town and heading out. Loved the sofa bed, it was big enough for 4 of us to pull out, open some wine and watch the new season of Bridgerton to help get over the post Eras Tour blues. The staff were so lovely every time we were in contact so I would 100% recommend staying here

Having to collect and return the key from another location then this was changed but when we collected the key it was at the original location given. Prior to our stay all correspondence received we couldn’t access any links so was constantly having to request information required from host and stay because all links that we should have been able to access were removed. We didn’t get our apartment access details prior to our stay so had to stand outside in the cold waiting to get them and when we did the keys that we collected didn’t correspond with the information provided. We called host and stay for the details and they gave us the correct details.

The location is brilliant for Liverpool city centre and the flat is a great size for a group however, we had issues with the host’s communication. We were told to collect the keys from one shop and then received a message to go to another further away as the first was closed for refurbishment. We were told by the replacement shop that our keys were not with them, they were still at the original shop (which was trading as normal with no sign of work being done). This added unnecessary time onto our arrival and wasted valuable time for us trying to get to a food reservation on time (which we missed). We contacted the host and asked for extra time at checkout in recompense and this was refused due to the “need for all 5 hours to do a professional clean”. As we had someone else’s hair on the shower wall and dust on the floors and skirting when we arrived, we think the term professional needs reassessed. Also, the ensuite shower temp dial doesn’t adjust so is too hot to stand in

Decent, modern apartment with good kitchen / living room. Two decent bedrooms, one with en suite bathroom. Reasonable location for central Liverpool.

The building had a tired, shabby feel, unlike the actual apartment. The surrounding area was somewhat 'edgy'. Shower in en suit bathroom didn't work properly - couldn't adjust temperature. Stuck on scalding hot. Couldn't find any kitchen knives. Luckily didn't have to cook properly.

The cold water tap in the en-suite shower did not work and the shower could not be used.
In the other bathroom, the plug in the bath tub could not be removed and the water could not be drained from the bath tub. Very difficult to have a shower in that shower.

There was a noticeable issue with the bathroom's water temperature – it wasn't adjustable and tended to be too hot. This issue significantly impacted the overall comfort of our stay, especially because there were two bathrooms merged into one, and five guests had to share it. It would be great if the host could address this temperature concern to improve the overall experience for future guests.

We had a great stay at this apartment. It was clean and tidy, location was excellent with a co-op supermarket, asian grocery shops and restaurants all nearby. Apart from the short walk to get and return the key, all else was 5 stars.
We would stay here again if back to Liverpool.

Great location, within easy reach of city centre. Key was easy to pick up and is literally 5 min walk from the place. Apartment clean & spacious for 4 adults. We met up with friends , plenty of restaurants (Bold Street) and pubs etc in the surrounding area. If in Liverpool again would definitely look at booking this place.

The place is near the center so it is easy for us to just walk around the city and find all the necessities we need. Its clean and equipped with everything we need.

The hot water normally finishes after just 1 person showers. Spoke to the owner, gace instructions however we still struggle with the hot water every morning.

The apartment is very well located, it is clean and the description matches what is indicated. For us the only inconvenience is taking and, above all, leaving the keys in the store that is a 7-minute walk away. It is a bit of a hassle to walk around with your own suitcases to leave the keys.

Very clean and presentable apartment. Quiet and great location with parking for one car.
It seems the norm these days but check-in is late with an early departure time so a little expensive for the time you’re in the accommodation. When we arrived there was no toilet paper in either toilet which was a bit inconvenient but the helpline seems to be in USA and we spent 15 minutes trying to convince the operator that we did have a booking. She insisted that we didn’t, even though we’d collected the key and were in there.
The only thing that would prevent me from staying again is the lack of utensils. Have you tried to cut a loaf of bread with a butter knife! Not one sharp knife and lack of general kitchen equipment.
Otherwise, great place to stay.

Didn't like you had to go to a shop 10 mins away from apartment to get keys .and had to travel back to shop before 10am to drop keys back off ..but don't tell you this until after free cancellation... The building inside up to apartment looked like council flats needed carpets cleaned and good lick of paint .. rubbish under stairs as you went to lift up to floor .. flat clean but loads of damage on beading around floors .. hole in wall behind door .base under the kitchen cupboard was hanging off ...marks on walls..we were told not to touch heating or water temperature... So flat way to hot .. hot water either scalding hot 🥵 or freezing cold on shower ...so tryed a bath put plug in bath couldn't get it back out .. Flat needed lick of paint dirty marks all over walls .. and though night locked the door and put chain on woke up door swinging in the wind luckily chain stopped flying open .. Sofa bed uncomfortable... Spent most of weekend contacting Host apartments .. so a very stressful unrelaxing weekend . I'll sick to Hotels in future or apartments with a reception down stairs

The flat was easy to find and access however walking to pick up/drop off the key with luggage on really hot/humid days wasn’t ideal. Very central location, quiet apartment block, had everything we needed for traveling to Liverpool for work. Loads of restaurants and bars close by.

We enjoyed our stay in Liverpool at Katy, Joe & Team. The apartment was globally comfortable, and very well located for all the activities we had planned in the city. Only downside was that the water heater was a bit unconventional to us (runs with a clock which activates the heating at certain times of the day), and was misconfigured when we arrived. This resulted in a few unavoidable cold showers in the first morning. To future guests I would recommend to double check that the heater clock is properly set when checking in.

everything on this property wasn’t working or was broken and by reading reviews it was ongoing issue and nothing has been fixed shower wasn’t working , no hot water , handles were broke in most of everything ///Simply this place is no to be allowed to be booked from any sides // urgent TLC NEEDED don’t think is safe for tenants … the owner was quick to respond wen I contacted but nothing got done and by this point I already paid for my stay and was non refundable

First day we didn’t have hot water. The mattresses are worn out, you can feel all the springs. The property was filthy overall, sticky floors, radiators, kitchen. The bathroom grout was mouldy. The wiring in the service cupboard were loose. Bedroom windows didn’t close properly. We contacted them and offered to come and clean it but on a 2 day stay I didn’t have time to wait around for that since the property was so filthy it was not going to be a quick job.

A great place to stay for a family of 5. The apartment is clean except the floor is dusty. Since I'm driving there, it's easy to find the apartment. But if only they could make the keys available at the apartment. Collecting and returning the keys abit troublesome. Can't imagine if I'm not driving there. Walking to and fro to the keys collection point. I think that is a minus point for the whole stay. And not forgetting the missing parking probe. There is a few Halal restaurant nearby if you feel lazy to go to central to find one. Overall, I'm happy and the family is happy during our stay there. I would recommend this place to those driving to Liverpool. Thank you Charlie and team. 👍

The TV has the latest streaming channels and was easy to use.

There were only 3 wine glasses for 4 of us but its meant to sleep 6.
The plug in the basin in the en suite bathroom wasn't working.
On check out day there was no hot water so no one could have showers before we left.

The location was excellent with a huge variety of international cuisines to choose from in the next road. The apartment was walking distance to the centre of the city and the docks area. The apartment had 2 bathrooms which was a real bonus and good secure parking.

There could have been more cutlery, there was only 2 of us so it wasn't a huge problem but for 4 or 6 it definitely would be. We were promised a spare key behind the door, there was none. But probably our biggest gripe was not enough hot water to have a bath and shower.

the apartment was clean and in good location,
it is located in the fifth floor and we were very wonder if the lift will work or not as we have read that from some guests the lift didn’t work during their stay, however, we asked the host as we have heavy luggages and my parents are traveling with me which they can’t go to the fifth floor by stairs as they are old. the host was not sure about the lift and they said they are not responsible as the lift is controlled by the building management and they doesn’t advertise that they have a lift and refused to cancel our reservation without charging all the amount but alternatively they offered another apartment in different building but with Administrative fees which was not reasonable about 65£. however, we were not have another choice and we went to the apartment to check if the lift is work or not and the lift was thankfully work during our stay.

the building was not clean at all and the host didn’t say the apartment was in 5th floor and I think Booking.com should force all the hosts to inform where the property is located in the building

Spacious apartment, en-suite double room. Fairly quiet location, only 10 minutes walk to the main bars, restaurants, shops. There are bars/restaurants less than 5 minutes walk too.

Key collection wasn't so straightforward, however, Charlie and team were very helpful with collecting keys. Understood that the apartment wasn't ready until 3pm and we werea little early. Collected keys at apartment. Could not have been more helpful - thanks.
Hot water was not always immediate, had to use the water heater once briefly.

Only complaints would be difficult to open front door. It would only open once pushed with your full body weight. The 1st attempt made us feel like we were at the wrong apartment.
Trouble opening living room window as it was summer it did get quite warm but the window wouldn't open.
Only one parking space which may be a problem if you have multiple driver's
Would definitely stay here again when visiting Liverpool

This flat is in a perfect location for exploring Liverpool on foot and the private, secure parking also gives the freedom to come & go as you please.

Nicely decorated and clean apartment in a brilliant location. The secure parking included was very useful, and rare to find.
Would have been nice to have six chairs in the communal area rather than just four, and would have been useful to have another set of keys. We couldn’t get the extractor fans in the bathrooms to work. Also a shame that the coffee pods provided weren’t the correct ones for the coffee machine.
All small issues, overall it was great due to the location and parking.
Hosts were friendly via message and easy to get hold of. Would definitely stay with them again.

So close to the nightlife and centre of Liverpool.
The apartment is clean and decorated tastefully. Owners were on hand all weekend and so helpful.

Lifts were not working so 5 flights of stairs was hard BUT it is only temporary and it made us feel like we worked off all the food and drink!

The main mattress was not usable due to the springs coming through, we had to use the duvet from the sofa bed as extra comfort.. The key was not available until 50mins after the pick up time, due to the house keeper being behind schedule. The lift was out of service which we had an email confirmation 2hrs before arrival yet residents informed us it had been out of service for 6 weeks.

At the time of our stay the lift in the building was out of order and the apartment is on the 5th floor which was a bit of a struggle with our baggage but sure this will be fixed. Communication was excellent and the location of the apartment is fantastic. Would recommend and thank you for making our trip to Liverpool a great one.

Our stay was for 3 nights in January. The apartment was lovely, spacious and cosy. There are two double bedrooms, one with an en suite and a nice main bathroom. Both beds were very comfortable and you were provided with towels and mini shampoo/conditioner and shower gels. The open plan kitchen and lounge boasts lots of space and if needed the sofa can be converted into a sofa bed. The area is located off the main street so it was lovely and quiet and you are very close to Lime Street Station as well as an array of restaurants to eat out at.
The property is located on the 5th floor in a block of apartments so be prepared to climb a lot of stairs if the lift is not working. The owners have outlined that the lift may not always be working but carrying luggage etc can be difficult getting up to the apartment. In order to collect the keys, if you are travelling by train, you have to go past the apartment to a newsagents to collect the key and then go back on yourself to get back to the apartment. Which you then need to do again to drop the key off. The newsagent is less than 10 minutes walk away but with luggage in tow it is a drawback.
The signal on the television wasn't great but the smart TV meant that you had netflix, prime etc at your fingertips. The fridge and appliances weren't turned on when we arrived either so you will need to do this on your arrival if you plan to use anything in the kitchen. If a welcome pack was available at the apartment where these bits and bobs were outlined that would have been great.
Overall, we have a very nice stay. The lift not working and the collecting of the keys is the main drawback but otherwise great little find and was withing walking distance of the city centre, train stations and the docks.

The apartment is on the fifth floor, and the lift is not working it could be due to COVID-19. Lastly the apartment is new and has a few improvements that needs to be done and hopefully it will be done by your next stay.

Definitely not what it looks like. Several important issues that we are waiting to see if we are compensated for. Only stayed one night out of two. Just wasn’t cosy, comfortable or clean as advertised.

The place was spotless, completely handy to the city and very easy to find
The beds were very comfortable and the showers were brilliant! Full use of the kitchen and dish washer incase you want to cook for yourself (which was a nice touch)
Great communication from start to finish with the hosts which made our trip hassle free

Check in and out is painful, needs to be made simpler with a lock box on site, there was no dishwasher tablets or detergent, not really up to Airbnb standard I believe.

The flat was very well located and has nice decoration, I’d recommend a change of mattresses also to have a look the second bath because when you get a shower the water gets stuck on the bath.
We had a problem with the towels the fist day but they sorted out quickly.
Is important to let people know you need to go to an office to pick up the keys.

Spotlessly clean apartment in an ideal location in Liverpool city centre. Less than a 10 minute (easy) walk from Lime Street train station, and near to all the shops, bars and restaurants. Even though it's in the city, it's a nice, quiet location with plenty of amenities.
Thank you - would highly recommend and definitelystay again.

Les indicacions per arribar son correctes però una sola clau d’accés a l’apartament limita molt, la comunicació amb els propietaris es molt àgil, la localització és molt bona, a poc minuts de l’estació i de catedral i liverpool one, tot i que no te bones vistes.
La cuina i la zona comuna és amplia però limitada per a 4 persones (taula petita)

Nice experience. Very good place. Easy communication with the team.
Everything was fine except it doesn't have interphone, so then it is difficult to get into the flat from the street if the the rest of your friends are in the flat. You have to go down to open the main door.

The room was perfect, I also like the friendly staffs. One big problem was checking-in. They gave me the wrong key at the first time, so I stayed up all night in the McDonalds. I cannot contact at all after 9 pm. But I understand this happening is not a usual thing. Staying was nice, rooms are comfortable. Location is also good.

Nice place - modern and stylish. Best feature is its location, perfect for a weekend in lovely Liverpool. Good communication with the owners/management company. Really comfy beds. Good sized flat for the three of us - 2 double bedrooms and a big sofa bed.
Only real issue was the main door to the flat which was difficult to open, we did manage it in the end and a maintenance man was sent out but it will need looking at further.

Great location for the town centre and station. Just a few minutes walk from Bold Street with lots of nice cafes and bars. You have to collect the keys from their office so bear this in mind if you have heavy luggage! It’s not too far from the apartment but adds to the journey. Apartment is modern, clean and well designed. It’s surprisingly quiet considering the location- we only heard one lot of people come back after a night out. The only negative about the apartment was the mattresses which really need replacing as weren’t very comfy unfortunately- soft and springy. Otherwise would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was pretty much what we wanted, with a decent living space if you wanted to cook and relax a bit which we didn't use much as we were out most of the time. The beds were reasonable and everything worked.
The building itself was pretty quiet, I didn't see or hear anyone else over the 2 nights that we stayed and it's within walking distance of the centre.
Only downsides were that the coffee machine didn't have any pods (there were some for a different machine for some reason), and no dishwasher tablets or sponge to wash up with.
There weren't any personal touches as it's run by a management company who were fairly helpful with check-in etc - if you want to leave bags with them after check-out they charged £5 per bag.

Functional and as described. The staff were always available on message. The recommended car park is wonderful! So reasonable and secure. Great views of the city from there too.
There were a few minor problems with the flat that have been reported. It didn’t affect our stay really.
All close proximity (office, apartment, car park).
The apartment (Oldham Street) was very central: just off Bold Street and around the corner from ‘Bombed Out Church’ meaning it’s a great base camp for exploring Liverpool.

Central position to visit the city and enjoy night life too. The house is decorated with beautiful pictures of Liverpool and it had everything we needed. Check in and check out is 10 minutes walk from the flat. Very good experience!

Me and my friends had a great stay. The apartment was lovely, well located to all the places we are looking for and interested. Dining and pubs are all around and easy to reach.

Super stylish apartment, bed was so so comfy. Nice touch of ice in the freezer always went down well! Although we accidentally turned the freezer off and it melted! Didn’t realize until we landed that the key was a ten minute walk from the apartment. Good location otherwise!

Had no hot water but the team did the best they could given the time of year. There was a broken door on the main bathroom but other than them two issues the place was fine and everything we expected.
The location was great! Walking distance away from the city centre and the train station. And it was very peaceful, which we greatly appreciated.
