The Hartley Hut, named after the beloved 70s TV character, offers a luxury glamping experience with a double bed, fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower and loo.

The criteria for our last minute overnight escape was simple: A shepherd's hut to try glamping for the first time; in natural surroundings; no more than an hour from home; quiet and peaceful; with a hot tub given the time of year. We were delighted to quickly find The Hartley Hut on AirBnB and it proved to be exactly the tonic needed for us as a couple, after an exceedingly busy period at our family business and a myriad of wider family responsibilities. The pictures and description are exactly as you will find the property. The directions were easy to follow and you start to feel the world subside as you head off on the estate tracks. There is ample parking in the meadow and it is a short distance to the huts for transference of your belongings. We had a lovely stay and would not hesitate to return. If you're looking for a retreat, then this is it.
