The spacious lounge features a comfy corner sofa, two-seater sofa, and a Smart TV. There’s also a sunroom for morning coffee, and an upstairs playroom with a fold-up bed, TV, board games, and Wi-Fi.

The kitchen is well-equipped with a fridge, freezer, oven, gas hob, dishwasher, and cafetiere. The separate dining room has a large table and ample seating for everyone.

Choose from five bedrooms: a king-size and two doubles on the ground floor, and on the upper floor, a twin room with an ensuite and stunning River Bure views, plus a playroom with a fold-out bed. Please note that the fold-out bed is only deemed suitable for use by children.

There are two ground-floor bathrooms—one with a shower, and the other with a bath and handheld shower. The twin room upstairs has an ensuite with a bath, shower, toilet, and sink.

Enjoy two gardens, with the front offering River Bure views and space for outdoor activities. There’s parking for two cars, a BBQ, and room for dogs to explore the grounds, surrounded by beautiful flowers, shrubs, and trees.
Guest access
Guests have access to the full property.

The keys to Millwood are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

Parking is available very near to the front door if you need it via a gravelled ramp, so for safety reasons drive slowly if you use this route.

Please be careful when using the exterior steps and patio area at the property. When the slabs are wet, they can become slippery as they're made from natural stone.

Please note that whilst the property is set far back into it's own grounds, the quay opposite is a popular place for people to launch boats, canoes and paddleboards in the summer months.

This was perfect to stay with family, lots of space, comfy sofas and beds. Had all you needed for families to catch up and make memories. Great surrounding with a lovely walk and park near by.

Lovely spot, house was nice and the owner was quick to respond to a few challenges. Great for all the family to get together.

Property was lovely & couldn't fault the location. Communication was a bit frustrating as WiFi was not working at the property and, despite the hosts being quick to respond we did not receive any actual help for the duration of our stay and it did exacerbate the situation.

Great home that feels like a home from home (but on a much bigger scale). The gardens are lovely and safe. The house is really spacious. There’s ample space for big families. We were a family of 4 with 3 grandparents and 2 dogs. The bathrooms are smart and clean and the bedding and towels are lovely quality. The 5th bedroom (playroom) does only have a camp bed in it - we just used the mattress off it so one of the children could sleep in with us. The router is really noisy as mentioned in other reviews - but I turned it off with no detriment to our stay. The house is well appointed and we felt very at home in what had obviously been a loved family home. We’d happily stay again, thank you for renting out this beautiful home.

It's a great house with a lovely garden that is nice for both adults and children. There's plenty of space for a big group of people and we very much enjoyed being so near the river (we all swam several times). The kitchen is generally well equipped, though a big pan which would hold food for a large group wouldn't go amiss. All in all, we had a nice time and wouldn't hesitate to go back at some point.
